Fun atmosphere outside.
Pork shoulder was excellent, but boy was that slaw spicy. Rest was good.

The grilled octopus, to me, is one of the best ones I've had here so far in Miami Beach. Our service by Jose was excellent along with every staff you encountered with. Very cool little set up by the pool as well and great post dinner hangout upstairs in the Eagle Room
Be the first to ReplyWe are in Miami Beach for 2 nights.
The dining scene in Miami Beach is very hit or miss in my experience. I am a foodie and really appreciate good food and good quality ingredients. I was looking forward to this meal because Infactuation gave it an "85", one of the highest scores on Miami Beach and it was conveniently close to our hotel. Well I was hugely disappointed. We had the seafood tower to start. The crudos were drenched in thick sauce and the tuna was sliced thin and the sauce was poured on top so it all stuck together in a big clump. The oysters were poorly shucked with shell bits in them and the oyster was not detached from the muscle/shell. This is seafood 101 to know how to properly shuck oysters. The oyster were drenched in an awful sweet cucumber sauce. The stone crabs were not cracked enough making it very difficult to eat. Next we had the oyster mushrooms that were minced and broken into way too small of pieces and served in a big pool of tahini sauce. The ratios were way off and this was not very good. We also ordered the ribs which were overly sweet and cooked poorly. And we got the octopus which was probably the best of the three but dry and poorly prepared. Honestly one of the worst meals I can remember. The service was fine but nothing special. We gave feedback about the sauce drenched seafood tower and the response was "ok" with no further action. Avoid avoid avoid. I feel I was tricked by the mixed reviews and the Infactuation review which has convinced me never to trust Infactuation again. Oh and the meal cost $400 for 2 people. AVOID.

I had been to 27 before for a large group dinner and found the meal to be good, so I went back on a Wednesday evening with my sister. For the price, this place is 100% not a good experience food wise or ambience wise. To start, wait staff was completely distracted. Drinks came out wrong. Food was ok, portions were smaller than pictured - and certainly nothing to write home about, and certainly doesn't warrant a return trip. Finally, while eating we were entertained by karaoke occurring in the club above the restaurant. No sound proofing whatsoever. There is certainly nothing less pleasant while trying to enjoy a meal than hearing drunk people poorly sing Dancing Queen. I couldn't wait to get out of there.
Be the first to ReplyMy recent visit to Twenty Seven Restaurant & Bar was marred
My recent visit to Twenty Seven Restaurant & Bar was marred by an incredibly disappointing level of service. The care and attentiveness from the waitstaff were notably absent, leading to a frustrating dining experience. A particularly striking incident highlighted the level of neglect we faced. After being left unattended for over 15 minutes, my brother tried to order a burger from a passing staff member. Astoundingly, the staff's response was simply, "Oh, I don't do that," followed by walking away without offering to find someone who could assist us. This complete indifference to customer service was shocking and unacceptable. This lack of professionalism and disregard for customer satisfaction significantly detracted from our experience at the restaurant. In a competitive dining industry where customer service is paramount, such an approach by the staff at Twenty Seven Restaurant & Bar is a major letdown. Based on this visit, I cannot recommend Twenty Seven Restaurant & Bar. The poor service alone is a deterrent, making it a place best avoided when there are numerous other establishments that genuinely value their patrons.
Be the first to ReplyCame by to Twenty Seven Restaurant over the weekend.
I've had some of their bites upstairs in the Eagle Room but they no longer serve food upstairs so we came downstairs and luckily they had space for a walk-in group of 5. The restaurant has really cute decor inside and outside. It's within Broken Shaker which also adds to the experience. We were sat outside. We started with a bottle of rosรฉ for the table, along with a few bites. The wine was good, and the service was also pretty nice with attentive and kind servers. At times they'd forget to bring water to the table but would quickly bring it back once asked. We ordered two broccolini's for the table, 3 kimchi fried rice, a steak, two mashed potatoes. The broccolini was delicious with ricotta and hot honey. Only complaint was hot incredibly small the portion was for the price. Flavor was on point. The steak also did not come with any sides which was a bit odd. The fried rices were tasty, as were the mashed potatoes. Food bad great flavor. The music is loud but enjoyable. Definitely an experience! Would come back to try other bites and drinks on the menu soon. Update: Came back 2 weeks after my visit and the menu has changed. No more broccoli with hot honey and the kimchi rice I used to get increase $7 so that was definitely disappointing but I'm sure there are still some gems on the menu.
Be the first to ReplyGreat vibe + ambience.
Pork shoulder and hummus is delicious!! Really cool dining room.

My husband and I tried this place with his mom and the food is AMAZING! Sooooo delicious I can't wait to go back. We tried almost everything on the menu and it was amazing! The virgin drinks were so good. The service was top tier the staff was very welcoming. I love the ambiance, very nice for pictures.
Be the first to ReplyCute location and interesting ambience.
Would be better if it were a bit brighter. Service was unfriendly and the timing was off. We waited a long time between courses but then dessert came very early. Sad, because the famous pop rock panna cotta had lost all its pop by the time we ate it. Ceviche was a highlight. Miami Spice menu was pretty limited. Overall, wouldn't recommend for dinner but maybe a late night happy hour.
Be the first to ReplyThe food was good but the service terrible.
I waited 20-30 minutes for both my entree and dessert and they didn't even offer a comp. The place wasn't full and a couple who came in 20-30 mins after me received much speedier service, which was also very frustrating.

I know this restaurant is tapas and shared plates but the pricing is off. The plates are very expensive and you only get one bite. The cost of each item compared to the ratio of food they provide doesn't align. Cool vibe and nice servers.

The hostess in the middle of our meal came in with another diner and told my husband "I need this chair". Told him to get up so that she could sit this young man. The young man proceeded to sit on the bench (not the chair) that my husband removed himself from, interrupted his dinner for. We thought someone was coming to join him. No, he was solo. A few minutes later, another waiter came and asked if he could take the chair that sat unoccupied--that my husband had to interrupt his dinner for and to move out of. So rude, and unprofessional. We are are new-residents of Miami Beach, not tourists. We will never enter this establishment again. Beware, go somewhere in Miami, where people appreciate their customers.

4.5/5..... love this little gem, tucked away right off Indian Creek Drive boy am I glad I checked this place out. Very casual, expansive patio & attentive service. We had the shrimp dumplings which were stellar, the mussels were amazing & you can't ever go wrong with plantains
Be the first to ReplyAmazing spot.
Such cool vibes both inside and outside. Really chic and rustic. Great for large groups as well as we had 2 tables of 8! Lots of space. The drinks and food and desserts all so good. Loved the shrimp dumplings, kimchi rice, chicken pot pie, etc. Such an eclectic menu. The corn ice cream dessert sundae option so good too

We came here on a Friday night with my boyfriends team from work, a somewhat formal corporate event. Even though the restaurant had reserved us the entire small room in the back near the inside stairwell, the table placement was a little awkward and L-shaped, so my face was actually facing someone's back. I would have hoped they would arrange the tables so that we were at least all facing each other in some way. They had a curated menu this evening, I'm not sure if it was for our event or that night alone or if that's how the restaurant always works, but the courses were preselected for us. But they were all really good and makes my life easier so there was really no complaints about that over here. They served the food family style and brought several plates of each course to our table for us to share and portion ourselves. They also brought out a punch bowl style margarita for us to all share and another with Moscow mules. We started with the grilled broccolini appetizer, which was my favorite dish of the night bar none. It had this sweet creamy sauce, buttery and delightful, and it might be the best way I've ever tasted broccolini, which is one of my favorite vegetables, and is very hard to find around here. To put it in perspective, I arrived late so when the server brought out a dish of broccolini for me to try nobody else was still on that course so I finished the entire thing alone. Lol. I did try the ceviche, it tasted fresh and didn't smell fishy but it wasn't particularly memorable. The main courses were a flank steak cooked well and seasoned properly with chimichurri and Morrocan stewed chickpeas served with a slightly spicy sauce. They were melt-in-your-mouth soft. Even though The dishes had completely different flavor profiles, they still went well together when you mixed them on your plate. The dessert was very unique. A coconut lime Panna cotta, which had the Panna cotta on the base, and the coconut lime in the form of a jelly. It came with a side of pop rocks, you pour them on and & they instantly start popping audibly and visibly and then again in your mouth like it's 2005 again. That part was really fun, it was interesting and refreshing, but it wasn't my cup of tea for desserts. Some people really liked it though. Afterwords, we checked out the bar upstairs, but it was still early so it was kind of empty. Then we instead went downstairs to the other side and got drinks at the broken shaker and hung out by the pool for about another hour before leaving to go to a club. It was a great way to start our night

Went here for a end of the year wrap up with my team from work. We tried half the menu and everything was delicious. The lamb literally melts in your mouth, as I feel it was cooked to perfection. Shrimp dumplings were amazing, the octopus tail was also amazing. I could go on for days. I would recommend, for a date night or even a group setting.

I've always been a fan of broken shaker bar at the freehand hotel and so I really wanted to check this place out. I gotta say, it was amazing!!! We were 6 of us and none of us were even slightly disappointed. Amazing service, amazing food and amazing ambiance! We repeated a few small bites and would highly recommend this place!!
Be the first to ReplyOver priced and food was nothing special.
Beware my dad got pick pocketed there and my son lost his wallet there's as well on a different day. It's no coincidence. BEWARE!!!

Positives:Excellent food! The tres leches dessert was easily my favorite thing on the menu. It's clear the staff care about your experience as a diner as we felt very comfortable and taken care of. In an area of predominantly restaurants inside of hotels this was a nice breath of fresh air.Negatives:Hard to find it at first. We walked from our hotel using Google maps which took us to a larger building on the corner. The people inside there had to direct us back outside and one building over. Once we were in the right place it was all 10/10. I think they just need some signs on the road/on the building to help people find their way. If it wasn't for us looking up restaurants in the area online, we would never have known this place existed, which is a shame because they deserve more customers with the food and service they provide.
Be the first to ReplySoooo annoying.
I didn't see anything about their happy hour days online. It literally just says 6-9. So anyone would think it's everyday. So I make the trek to Miami Beach, waste gas, after calling them 4 times to ask about their happy hour days and times (they never answered). When we get there they say they don't have happy hour on Fridays.... soooo Put it more clearly on your website or answer the phone.....
