ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!!! I got the special, which was a handmade pasta with greens, parmesan, and mushrooms. It was some of the best pasta I have ever had (even after getting back from a trip to Italy). My boyfriend got the Salmon entree and it was cooked well and was accompanied with a nice acidic tomato sauce. Salmon usually isn't something I would order, but I had some of his and it was delicious. For drinks, I got the sauvignon blanc that was actually an orange wine, which I had never had before. It was nice and dry with a bit of an acidic undertone. My boyfriend got an old fashioned and he enjoyed his as well! A great ambiance in the restaurant with dim lights and low music. Is a great date spot!

Ambiance is lovely.Buttttt.... Service was extremely rushed and disappointing. We didn't even finish appetizers that were visible on plates and multiple waiters would try to clear the table. The same thing happened with the entrees and dessert. After dinner we were finishing the bottle of wine we ordered and the manager came to clear the table 2 seconds after someone finished their last drop of wine. We were a party of four seated for 2 hours. Very disappointing.
Be the first to ReplyCame in shortly after 12:30pm for a solo lunch.
I did not have a reservation and was able to be seated in the dinning room for one. The place got more busy shortly after I arrived so I would imagine a reservation would be recommended. The setting and decor is chic. The wait staff is warm, inviting, and attentive. This restaurant is a trusted staple for me and I'm sure it is for many New Yorkers coming in for personal catch-ups, celebration meals, and business meetings. On this trip:Kale Salad: perfect. Well dressed. Marriage of flavors from the butternut squash, crisp apples, and mustard vinaigrette.Mushroom Pizza: this is a white pizza with a variety of mushrooms on top which created different textures. The cheese, egg, and sprinkled peppers added to the complexity of flavors. This meal I had after not eating breakfast that morning-- only mint tea. I ate my entire salad and took home 3 pizza slices. They do have whole wheat bread service with olive oil , of which I ate 1 slice. I was full! I regret not having room for that caramel sundae!I must add that I have been here several times. They still offer the classics I've loved in the past and would still order in future visits:Grass fed beef Cheeseburger French Fries Faroe Island Salmon Chocolate Layer CakeCaramel popcorn sundae Ginger Margarita They have private gender neutral bathrooms located in the front of the restaurant adjacent to the host stand. Coat check is available. Will obviously be back.
Be the first to ReplyRiley and I came here to get a pre shopping buzz going.
Some d-bag spilled his Manhattan on her cape the night before at the Marlton. He promised to get her a new one till he found out how much LP goes for and opted to just pay for the dry cleaning. Chivalry is dead, and I have to assume so is Lazard otherwise Zach's bonus could have sprung for a cape. The ginger Marg is delicious. I highly recommend drinking a few. It may have catalyzed a few shoe purchases I only kinda sorta needed

We were put at a table in the corner next to a kitchen door and a fire alarm box that started beeping in the middle of our meal. It definitely didn't feel like we were part of the dining experience but more an afterthought. The manager said that it's 50/50 that people want that table, but no one thought to ask if we were in the 50% who would want to be so separated and in a weird corner. The table was so small, utensils were falling off in the divets. I made a reservation a month in advance, and it didn't feel like they had space with us. Seriously, the bus boy said he had never seen a table where ours was. It was so weird. Then, the waiter told us the specials after we had ordered (because apparently he forgot). He never checked back after the entrees, so he missed the chance for me to order another drink. He never came back with info we requested about the desserts, so we didn't order any. Everything felt like we were an afterthought. The bathroom was messy. And upon hearing the feedback, all the manager did was offer us her business card if we want to come back- which we absolutely will not. This is not at all what we expected from a Jean Georges restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyThe food is always good at ABC Kitchen.
The atmosphere is just a little bit cold. Not in the temperature, but in the vibe. The Decour is very nice but it almost feels like an institution these days. It doesn't have a cozy feeling, which is harder to find these days in New York City restaurants. The servers are always professional and kind.

I went midday during the week (with a book, of course) specifically for the crab toast and a drink. The inside is very cute and the service is very pleasant. My drink was underwhelming and the crab toast was fine, but not so good that I need to come back. It's not big on flavor, so if you're into more of a refreshing lite bite, fine. I do love that it wasn't heavy, but it just didn't excite the taste buds as much as I'd hoped.

A for Ambiance and Service, but between the price point and the food not being extraordinary, that's why the rate. The food is good in a simple way, but it's nothing special. The salmon, for instance, that comes with "maitake mushrooms," in fact comes only with 3 and they're crispy. More than half the plate was empty, an odd appearance.
Be the first to ReplyI've always loved abc kitchen.
..but the last few times I've been have been very disappointing. There is a salt monkey in the kitchen ruining the food. My duck was over seasoned. The mash was super salty. My duck was rubbery, no sear on skin at all. I had the rubber duck. So sad.

Came here with a friend for dinner on a Wednesday night! I haven't been to any of the ABC restaurants, so I was excited to try this place out with its emphasis on farm to table dining. We did make a reservation ahead of time. Food: We split the two entrees, which was a great option since it was kind of like having surf and turf. - Steamed black sea bass: Great choice if you're looking for something lighter but still filling. I like the texture components with the hazelnuts in the vinaigrette. - Honey roasted duck breast: The duck, itself, was delicious and perfectly cooked. I wish that the accompanying sides were more substantial though because if I only had this entree alone, then I might not be full. Ambiance/Service: Restaurant is a lot larger than it appears from the outside. Great place for groups and date night. Service was fast, efficient, and friendly. Overall: Solid choice for a nice dinner out!
Be the first to ReplyFood, service and ambiance are all amazing at ABC.
It is quite pricey, but the quality is worth it. I always have an excellent experience there. They have a varied menu with lots of vegetarian and vegan options. They also have a great wine selection!

While I have eaten at ABC Kitchen many times, I had never been to brunch there until this last weekend. There were so many things I wanted to try and I changed my mind 100 times before deciding on the Dutch Baby and crispy bacon. The bacon came out very quickly, while understandably the Dutch Baby came out much later. It was delicious! The only problem with my meal is that it left me so full that I had no room left in my stomach and wasn't able to order my favorite sundae afterwards. Oh well...next time.

Jean George still got it!!! Service was great, atmosphere is beautiful and the food is still consistently amazing. ย The truffle pizza, caramel popcorn sundae, and cavatelli with duck ragu were the standout's for me.

What a gem! Beautiful interior and a great spot for a date or catching up with some friends. The interior is very spacious and wonderfully decorated. Ordered the crab toast, black truffle pizza, and ricotta ravioli. Crab toast: 10/10 - the flavors melt in your mouth and the dish tastes even better with the lemon squeezed on top. The rest of the reviews aren't exaggerating how great this dish is. Black truffle pizza: 10/10 - I love anything with truffle but the thin crust and egg really made this pizza standout to me. I crave it!Ricotta Ravioli: 5/10 - it doesn't taste bad by any means but is just very normal and I could have eaten this anywhere else/even made it at home 4/5 stars for the very slow service

I've been wanting to try this place out for a while, partially cause I saw a photo of its crab toast ahah! We came here one Friday night and got the crab toast, fries, and two pizzas (along with some beverages). I ordered the black truffle pizza and I think that was the highlight of the meal! The crust was thin and oozing with cheese and the egg! The only one thing was that I thought it was too oily for my liking but great flavor!

I came here for dinner recently and absolutely loved the place! The ambiance is incredible, the food was very good, and the service was the best part (shout out to our server Omar who was amazing - give that man a raise!) Highly recommend it.

Just need to catch up with all my reviews. Food is delicious and it's better to take your date here rather dining aloneI had their salad and beef tartar. Both are great.

We were able to snag a last minute reservation for Sunday (2/20) brunch. The decor is stunning, the food is divine, and most importantly, our server Allie, was a delight - professional, courteous, and full of personality. One word of advice - save room for the apple cider donuts!

Sadly, ABC Kitchen after Covid has been such a disappointment. Turnover in staff has left the restaurant ill-equipped to manage high quality and knowledgeable waitstaff. When I dined there in August 2021, my appetizer ย included seasonal melon which was rock hard and unripened. When I mentioned this to the waiter, he shrugged and did not know how to respond. Another waiter came by, and said that the melon was the best the chef had. I told the second waiter that the chef should not serve unripened melon, but I got just another shrug. It's sad when management doesn't care about providing the highest quality service of the highest quality food.
Be the first to ReplyWe had weekend brunch here recently.
This is a busy and noisy place, but with a lively and fun feel. We got seated right away for our reservation. The breakfast potatoes in particular were really tasty--much better than an average side dish at brunch. My friend's crab toast was a nice portion with a lot of crab. The dutch baby was tasty and a different take on breakfast food.Everything tasted great! The service was just a bit spotty. One of our entrees did not come out right away, and it took a while to get our server's attention to get this corrected. Otherwise, we enjoyed our experience and would return.

I would absolutely recommend this for a group, or even just for a date night out!The ambiance is pretty cool in the restaurant, with distinct white furniture illuminated by great mood lighting. The high ceilings with exposed beams really added to the ambiance too.Our server was extremely helpful with recommendations, as we ended up ordering a bunch of wine and shared appetizers. We ordered the peekytoe crab toast, Long Island fluke tartare, and kale salad to share. All of the ingredients were fresh and flavors complex. In particular, I loved the crab toast with buttery bread and fresh crab! For my entree, I enjoyed the duck breast, which was beautifully prepared and well proportioned. I usually never order duck but felt inspired by the mushroom dashi. It lended a great umami to the dish. I would definitely come back.
Be the first to ReplyI always loved this place.
Somehow it not quite up to par ... Friendliest staff, nice environment and reasonable prices but what happened to the service ? While quite pleasant the staff seem Inexperienced Coffee with no spoon to stir? Bread with no butter? Slightly ย cracked coffee mugs? No Splenda? I also found the salmon plate very tough .. so much so that I needed a knife to cut the veins in it. The flavors are very nice but why use poor quality salmon ? I'll try again but some how I fear it may have lost that shabby chic specialness

Always a classic go-to for a special occasion or date night! As you can see, seafood options are delicious.

The food and drinks here were great! I tried most of the appetizers, the black truffle pizza, the scallops, and the Sea Bass. Although each scoop I had was great, I was dying to reorder the Peekytoe Crab Toast and the Long Island Fluke Tartare. There was a sweetness to the crab toast that gave it sweet and savory taste and made me request another round for the table mid-way through the meal. The tartar was also delicious but instead of sweetness, the standout flavor in this dish some tangy citrus. For drinks, I mostly stayed with wine but I do recommend the ginger margarita. Overall, I would return here in a heartbeat and I hope the crab toast is still on the menu .

Such a great spot! I've been obsessed with ABC Cocina for years, and really enjoyed my past visits to ABCV. I'm happy to say ABC Kitchen more than lived up to my expectation. The ambiance is cool, the staff is friendly, and the food and drinks were awesome. I highly recommend the scallops and peekytoe crab toast. The Long Island fluke tartare was much smaller than expected- good, but not as satisfying as the other two. For drinks: although the citrus and sage was too sweet for me, the bell pepper martini was wonderful. My husband also liked the Manhattan. Finally, the much-hyped chocolate cake was a very good chocolate cake, but the apple tarte tatin was the table favorite. This is a great spot for a date night or girls night out. Very classy and hip at the same time.
