Amazing food! Very creamy pasta! Reasonable portions and very elegant and professional service. Very romantic place!
Came in last week.
Sat in the bar area. The atmosphere is a fun vibe. Our server Kelly was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The new spring cocktails are absolutely amazing. Would 100% come back
Good was delicious and service was great.
Group of 12 and we tried the friend green tomatoes, bread service, filet, cookies and so much food! Happy hour had great deals too
Gorgeous restaurant with great food.
Came for dinner and everything we ordered was incredibly tasty. Highly recommend the bread service and the gnocco fritto. Waitress was extremely friendly and quick. The pasta was a little bit bland but otherwise everything we ordered was wonderful.
The food was good, but I promise you.
For the price, you can find 10,000 better restaurants in Chicago. The salmon and halibut tasted nice, but nothing insane. The tiramisu was not good.. overly sweet with ice cream and kind of confusing overall. It did not compare to traditional tiramisu. I could just tell our server didn't want to be there and I get it. I have served, but there's a certain level of professionalism I wish I experienced. I just don't think it's worth coming back to
Adalina, located in Chicago's esteemed Gold Coast
Adalina, located in Chicago's esteemed Gold Coast neighborhood, exudes elegance and boldness. Upon entering Adalina, guests are greeted by a grand staircase leading to a mesmerizing painting of a woman enveloped in white roses. This has to be the best happy hour in the country. Both on price and quality. Superb quality oysters! Impressive! This spot is led by the esteemed Michelin-starred chef Soo Ahn, formerly of Band of Bohemia. Adalina presents a refined Italian menu blending Northern and Southern influences.
Probably the most overpriced place I've been to in Chicago.
Go elsewhere for the money. Food: Food was cold and lacked taste. Each course worse than the last. I got 3.5 cold, rubbery, scallops in a soup for $45. Drinks: Good options but can only speak to the wine list, which was expansive. Service: Took them forever to seat us. Food took an hour to come out. Atmosphere: Loud but cool decor. Ok Im old.
Great atmosphere and food, the servers were very courteous
Great atmosphere and food, the servers were very courteous and the food and drinks came out quick.
Italian brunch: Adalina is a spot worth considering.
It offers a cozy atmosphere perfect for lazy weekend mornings. However, if you're not a fan of cheese overload, you might want to tread cautiously. Adalina tends to go heavy on the cheese, which could overwhelm some palates. That said, the sauce is impeccable and the drinks menu is stellar, boasting super creative concoctions that perfectly complement the small plates designed for sharing. So, if you're willing to overlook the cheese surplus, Adalina promises a delightful brunch experience filled with great drinks and delectable small plates to share with friends/family. I especially liked the dish displays. Dress code is dressy and the vibe is romantic/business casual. I'd say it's about $80 or so per person. Not bad.
For the money, just average food and service. Host staff needs major overhaul.
We are from Virginia, and had made reservations 2 months in advance. We had been previously in 2019 and had one of the best dining experience we’d ever had. After raving about this place to the couple who traveled with us and are first timers to Chicago, our experience was very disappointing. Our reservation was for 730 and we didn’t get seated until almost 9pm. We had requested “Chad” based on our first experience, and were willing to wait a little time, but it became ridiculous and we kept getting promised by the host/hostess station “any minute”. When we were finally starved beyond belief we asked for the next available and the hostess said they had a table for us and never came back. We decided to leave and I stopped by the hostess station and this woman assured us our table ready…and I was cautious to believe her. We got seated, they gave us complimentary appetizers, which were greatly appreciated since we were famished. After alllllllll that, the food was average as was Chad, our server. The place was super loud, so do not expect any table discussion while dining. We were very embarrassed to subject our friends to what we had basically promised was going to be an amazing experience. Maybe management has changed since 2019. We love Chicago…and there is crazy good food there….on to find a new favorite.
Great place!!
What an amazing find! From start, with Mara taking our reservation, to the wonderful desert combo, all served by the amazing Emily Sanchez, what a night. The ambiance was great, the service fantastic, and the food ... well amazing. Thanks also to the GM/Sommelier Peter Lopez who recommended a great wine, perfectly matching the flavor profile my wife described, and it was not the most expensive wine on the list, instead, just what we asked for. To all at Adalina, thanks. What a wonderful evening!
A special occasion restaurant by price, with great food and service.
Very tasty versions of popular foods like Caesar salad and pesto. Amazingly tasty gnocchi. Waiters in formal clothes. Good, friendly service and advice. Expensive.
