Fantastic modern Indian
After a bit of an issue trying to book a table we arrived and things were fantastic the menu and food was creative tasty and presented with fun and style there was couples friend’s dining and families with children. The restaurant is modern Indian food at a medium price

Excellent food , friendly attentive service , genuine interest in feedback , interesting menu and a positive twist on Indian food . Loved the nachos !
Be the first to ReplyGood lunch experience with decent food and efficient service.
3 of us were out at lunch. Our bill came a little short of SGD 150 which included one alcoholic drink and one chicken taco appetizer (rest of the meal was vegetarian). The prata quesadilla was tasty though a tad heavy. The Kolkata momos was popular among all of us esp the dip along with it. Deciding to go with a bunch of starters, we then had the panipuri. I liked the combination of the panipuri sweet sour sauces though one of my lunch companions found it too sweet. The gulabjamun cheesecake balanced the sweetness with the enveloping cheesecake flavor. The drink was excellent. And our attending waitstaff were very helpful and efficient, thank you Jin.

great food. loved the kebabs / tacos / chaat platters. cosy ambience with soft lighting. Though pricey, the quality of the food sure made up for it. However, i would skip the masala tea. just didnt quite meet the expectations. taste was bland and e spices were somewhat not there. not worth e $3/glass. The restaurant seems shorthanded on the service crew. took some time to get one's attention to place orders. However, despite being a heavy day, the staff were still friendly. Thanks to Hari in ensuring we had a good time. n yes i was feeling bloated with all the good food (minus the Tea)

Be the first to ReplyExcellent food
I’ve visited this restaurant several times this visit as the food is excellent. The pot pie dishes, daal makhani and mango kulfi are all worth trying. The staff are friendly and the chef makes the effort to come and chat to the guests. Good vibe and good food.
Be the first to ReplyFood was good, but it is little it expensive
The taste pf chat items were excellent. Kids enjoyed it. However mutton briyani was not that good and it was expensive. The most expensive item was the drink which costed $14 and totally not worth it.
Be the first to ReplyGreat ambience, Great food, Great people... But, avoid on Fridays/ weekend, overworked staff unable to cope with crowds
Great ambience, brilliant selection of music.
Great food, perfect shot at a different way of presenting Indian cuisine ,
Very cheerful caring staff.
But, avoid on Fridays/ ?weekend, overworked staff, unable to cope with crowd needs. Although, the poor guys were trying to maintain their calm, running around crazy busy, but can spoil the customer's fun night out.
Excellent service
We were served promptly n service was excellent. Lamb dum briyani was so good. Mango kulfi just melted in our mouths.

Lovely modern local indian
Love this place. It is a modern fun neighbourhood Indian restaurant. They have a fantastic selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes. So you don’t feel like you are limited in any way. The staff are always very attentive and welcoming. Even the chef regularly comes to your table to check how your evening has been. The dishes are modern and fun and usually presented in a very creative manner. I can tell this will be even more of an enjoyable experience when Covid restrictions ease. Definitely worth a visit or even get a takeaway.
Be the first to ReplyFun ambience, good food + cocktails
Had a fun and satisfying night with my wife at Adda. Don't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised by the decor / ambience that is modern / fusion Indian. The founder Sanjay spent 10 mins at our table speaking to us, telling us more about Adda, its concept, its meaning. Grateful for the hospitality shown throughout our meal there.
We ordered 4 dishes and all were satisfying and at the right spiciness. We also order 2 of their special cocktails and they turned out much better than I thought!
Would come back again as there are a lot more food and drinks to try. We did make a booking in advance so didn't have to wait long and we started dinner early at 7pm, so we didn't wait long for our food.
Terrible customer experience. Overbooking tables and letting customers wait for an hour….
We had the most horrible experience last night. ADDA overbooked tables, not just us. Our reservation was for 8pm and by 8:45 when we still didn’t give us a proper table (they squeezed us in a table of 2 and ask us to wait), we just left. While we were leaving, 3 couples at the bars were giving us a thumbs up. They were also still waiting for their table. Really disrespectful and horrible client experience !

As much good the food and drinks are in this place, haven’t found a more terrible service where the service is not only bad, but the customer gets scolded for it as well! Normally I tend to steer away from putting bad reviews but this was asked for.🤦♀️
Did the big mistake of choosing to celebrate my friend's birthday(that too her 18th!!! birthday and continents away from her parents) in Adda on the day of Lohri (a punjabi festival) as they were having special Lohri menu and celebrations.
1hr into dinner, 2 appetizers and 1 of the festive specials we ordered arrived.
1.5 hrs and 3 reminders on our cocktails later, we were told(more like shouted at) that no drinks order placed for our table. Would hv given up on the order if it was any other day but on that day, we wanted to have a 18th birthday celebratory cheer with our friend on behalf of her parents. So, with much patience, placed the order again for our 4 cocktails.
In the meantime, the birthday 'cake' we had arranged to bring in as a surprise arrived. Usually the birthday cake arrives in this restaurant with a sparkling candle but this day for us it was the normal candles on one of the desserts we ordered. But the sad but hilarious part was how it was brought in - a staff just came in a very non-enthusiastic way, placed it on the table and just left! No knife to cut it with, candle NOT even lighted up!! If only the restaurant had mentioned - BYOL(bring your own lighters)!!! 🤣 What a fantastic way to ruin a surprise birthday cake cutting🤦♀️!
Asked the staff to please light up the candle, and 10 mins later no clue of any of the waitstaff. I had to go find manager from the restaurant floor and she agreed to sort out the situation soon. Finally a real cake arrived! Uff *relief*!!
But still no clue of our celebratory cocktails to cheer on with. Again I stepped out of the table to find the restaurant manager again and found a person who appeared to be the owner of the restaurant instead. Told him quickly that it was 2 hrs, 4 reminders, 2 orders on the same drinks and still no clue of our drinks and to my surprise instead of being the least bit apologetic, he told me first that we should have ordered via the qr code on the table. I told him the qr ordering on our table was not working which is why we placed the orders to the wait staff to which he gave me a disbelieving look haha. But anyway he agreed to look into the matter and very thankfully later came to our table that he has personally made sure the order is now in the system. Ok, thank God for the only good service point of the night !
Wait continued... 15 mins later 3 out of our 4 drinks arrive! Lol now we have to wait for the 4th drink. Again enquired/reminded on the 4th drink!! 30 mins again waiting for the 4th cocktail, by this time even the dead cocktails on our table wanted to walk out🤦♀️🤷♀️. Just because it was a little girls birthday, we didn't want to make the atmosphere tense, so we kept the mood light with much patience. Finally, 3 hrs into the dinner, we had our first drinks! Hurray!!!!
Needless to say we wanted to leave from there quickly and gave up on our main course! Asked for the bill, and in it was mentioned the festive special dessert we had ordered and that had not arrived at all. Alas, what a cherry to top the disastrous dinner!! 🤦♀️
Lesson learnt - do not go to adda on peak times unless you have an infinite amount of patience. And not especially for celebratory occasions or take clients for business dinners - save yourself some embarrassment!
Food & drinks are good, so if you would like to taste it, go on off peak times with a bit of patience.
Message to the restaurant - would understand completely if you are short of staff in these covid times, we know its tough times. But if so, do not organize events if you dont have the capacity to handle it. And a small apology with a smile instead of angry denial can do wonders in customer care 🤷♀️
Solid service from Jesry
Food was superb - especially the briyani 🔥 Service from Jesry was like none other - always looking out for me and my family throughout our meal. This was my second visit to the place thanks to his exemplary demeanor 👍🏾

Terrible experience- Service, system.. everything failed.
- Confirmed booking via chope but upon reaching sharp at 8 pm, was told the system does not have my reservation.
- waited for 15 mins and then was moved to a lounge inside until the table is ready. After 15 mins, I was informed my table is ready but not outdoor. Was offered a table indoor.. I asked for outdoor.. the lady told me to take the indoor one first n she will move us outdoor later. By the time we reached the designated indoor table, another guy told us he has given the table to someone else n the lady disappeared. Total lack of coordination
- agreed to take another table indoor; asked for Lohri special- Sarson ka saag thali n was informed it’s sold out. Really?? It was special for that day n at 8 45 pm it was sold out! Asked for atta halwa.. lady took the order n disappeared n it was never served
- ordered rest of the food via the QR code.. when I clicked on send order, the cart was empty.. we asked the waiter to check if the order went through, he confirmed the order has reached kitchen. After 20 mins, was told that there was no order.. So we order again!!
- now the guy comes to us n says he wants to offer complimentary desserts to make it up to us - we tell him what we want n now it’s his turn to disappear. The promised dessert was never served.. I was not there for complementary dessert anyway but don’t offer if you don’t intend to fulfill.
- food was ordinary.. nothing stood out.
Never going there again! If you can’t manage the crowd and the orders, pls do not advertise your festive special.. this place is clearly not up to scratch. Have never experienced such pathetic service ever.
Amazing experience @ Adda
Food is excellent and so is the overall ambience. We had a very joyous time...service is just too good...Honey/Rahul (the one who served us) was super cordial and extremely helpful. A MUST VISIT.

Excellent food in a cosy setting. We went there for a sunday brunch happened to be a bday in the family. We were served by Sukh. Her service, very quick and efficient. We ordered pani puri- yummy, paneer tikka- excellent balance of flavour, naan _perfect, daal makhni -I still have it's yummy taste in my mouth, paneer pot -was okayish, chicken biryani- not spicy but good taste, In dessert we ordered myng dal halwa which was again ok, have tasted better. Overall a very good Indian restaurant, which has not so oily and spicy food yet being authentic flavourful and tasty.
