Great spot for a Friday happy hour - drinks and snacks.
The blanco margarita with spicy salt was the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. What's better than chips and salsa - FOUR different salsas! Tacos and nachos were both fresh and flavorful. Portions were perfect.Amanda was an amazing waitress; attentive and super friendly! Our group of 3 lucked out without a reservation for happy hour, but it got pretty full by time we left around 6:30 so definitely consider a reservation for dinner.
Be the first to ReplyGreat place for brunch.
For $55 it includes unlimited cocktails such as mimosas or margaritas, and unlimited chips and guac. Additionally they serve French toast for the table. You have the option to pick from huevos rancheros and tacos. Service was decent. Ambiance was casual and Spanish music in the background.
Be the first to ReplyThis place is cute with good service, tacos and drinks.
The first time I was here I only had drinks, chips and salsa, but that was good enough for me to come back. This time I had the Mendoza and the El Cucuy, the former was better than the latter. I wish the El Cucuy had been strained a tad bit more. I also had the birria tacos and those are chef's kiss! The two top tables are VERY close together so prepare to squeeze between them.

The tables were EXTREMELY close together, but the 'Rita's and tacos were amazing. Wonderful customer service

Overall this restaurant was lovely, I would be doing five stars but there was a rat that was in the outdoor area that definitely had a bit of a damper on the night. Their guac trio, ahi tuna ceviche, and corn dumplings were lovely! But the absolute best was the pork belly tostadas! They were perfect and so flavorful. Oh and the margaritas were truly on point. Would definitely go back but maybe just eat inside to avoid the rat lol

Delicious! Came on a Monday for dinner and it was certainly busy, for the happy hour I presume, so having a reservation was nice. Seating area was tight but do-able, just harder with winter coats if you're coming that time of year. Our waitress was so kind and attentive, constantly checking on us and assuring waters were topped off and everything was alright. Happy hour deals aere amazing and the guacamole was delicious, great seasoning and quick refill on chips if needed. Our main courses came out promptly and were equally high on quality. I really enjoyed the mushroom quesadilla as a vegerarian main and the meat options looked great, as well! Dessert was good, though I didn't care for the sauces with the churros very much.

If you come into this place expecting Tex-Mex, you;'ll be disappointed. The cuisine is creative and absolutely delicious! The lunch special is a great buy. If you are a fan of mescal or tequila, you'll find plenty of options, including a tasting menu. Highly recommend!

Pretty decent spot for bottomless brunch! Came here for a friends birthday and we were promptly sat down and told that our 1.5 bottomless hour started now but the server didn't take our order which was a bit odd and stressful. Then the mimosas started rolling in and I was pleased with the speed, but they were strict that you could only have 1 drink at a time. The French toast that came included with bottomless was very tasty and decadent. The guac and chips were great too! Plenty of starter food. There are only 3 entree choices so I went with huevos rancheros, made dairy-free upon request. The portion was a little underwhelming since there was only 1 egg, but there was so much food before that I didn't mind. It was pretty good. They were good about my friend's birthday, singing and giving her a sparkler. Overall, the place is cute and serviced warmed up by the end, so it ended up redeeming itself despite being a little pricey.
Be the first to ReplyThe service here is utterly abysmal.
If you're looking for any sort of efficiency, don't eat here.

10th is much quieter than 9th. The food was good all around. The Charro Old Fashioned was the best cocktail I've had in a long time.

Anejo is a great little spot located in Hell's Kitchen area in Manhattan. They serve brunch, lunch, and dinner on weekends and all are worth a try. They also offer tequila flights and an abundance of drink options. I had a taste of brunch (French Toast) and Lunch (Tacos) and a flight to wash it all down! The prices are very reasonable, they tale reservations and the service was very good!

Came here for brunch, the chicken chilaquiles were delicious but the portion seemed a bit small. The margaritas were delicious and we opted for the passion fruit juice variation. Would come back to try their lunch specials and brunch again!

The service was great and the food came out quickly. I got the French toast and my boyfriend got the huevos rancheros, along with guac & chips for the table. Would definitely recommend! Perfect amount of food for both of us.

We were so pleasantly surprised by our recent visit to Anejo on a Friday night, and found it to be a perfect spot for a late-night date. After a long travel day, I picked this spot on a whim. As a native Texan, I am really picky about my Mexican food, but decided to give it a spin. Located on a busy corner in Hell's Kitchen, the location is excellent and has great curb appeal. We were very pleased to be seated immediately at a sidewalk table right on the corner, one of the best seats in the house and perfect for people watching. We started with a couple of skinny margs, which were so great, we ended up ordering a pitcher to share after. For dinner, we started with the chips and salsa trio, which featured a habanero, a zingy verde, and my beloved arbol, which was perfect. We followed that up with a delicious and refreshing salad, some fusion-inspired cauliflower tacos, and some of the best esquite this side of San Antonio. The vibes, food, and, of course, margaritas at Anejo really revived us, and made for a perfect night out in Midtown.

Great food, bad service! This is my 2nd time visiting Anejo within the past week. I was disappointed both times as I had to ask the host to grab the attention of our sever. When she came over, she was very short in conversation and did not seem like she wanted to engage. She didn't even check on us after we've received our food. It's a shame that the service was this bad as the food is extremely delicious!
Be the first to ReplyNice vibes, average food.
Ample seating for a day of reservation - we ordered the pitcher of sangria and tacos. The seafood enchiladas were pretty disappointing but the pork tacos were enjoyable.

went to brunch with co-workers and I ordered the Morning Tacos. We also got pitchers of Margarita and Sangria for the table. The portions of the food was filling and service was decent. The only aspect I did not like was that our table was very narrow, and for a party of 7, the plates/pitchers/water cups was a tight fit. I had to be careful to not knock someone's drinks over when grabbing the water pitcher. Otherwise it's a solid place!

Be the first to ReplyWeekend bottomless brunch, that is all.
Vibe: TexMex style restaurant with lots of indoor/outdoor seating that was expectedly loud. Lots of seating, natural light and staff was chill.Food/Drink: Prefixed brunch menu for $55 all you can drink which includes either mimoas, sangria, bloodies or margs. Drinks initially felt strong but wore off quick so not sure if they were watered down by the end of brunch or what (lol). Food was as you'd expect; pretty average and nothing special.Long story short; fairly priced all you can drink with food but nothing special food wise.
Be the first to ReplySo, 5 years later we come back to this place.
Still pretty good. We walked in for some late Saturday afternoon snacks and drinks and were seated right away. There's something about the space i really like, I can't put my finger on it. It's definitely small, with dark traditional tones, but somehow feels open. The tequila menu is decent, and they had some interesting sounding cocktails, plus other non-tequila but agave based spirits. The Añejo margarita was ok, not the best I've had. Also had their Reposado flight, which only had 3 tequilas: artenom 1414 (sweet and subtle, towards blanco range), herraduras (solid reposado), and siete leguas (not bad). In a place called Añejo specializing in tequila, I was a little disapponted that the flight didn't come with a sangrita, or salt and lime. (yes i understand you don't slam these tequilas like college, but nice to have a side). They did come with some ok chocolate covered almonds. We had chips and guacamole and salsa combo. Pretty good. Guacamole wasn't prepared fresh tableside, and it looks like they just added some jalapeno slices before serving, but it was ok. The salsas were very good, especially the cream salsa. We also had the pork belly tostadas which were great.Service was a *tad* slow but fine and not a complaint, our servers were polite and helpful.

Love the drinks and food!! Our server (forgot his name) was very friendly and attentive. We sat at the bar for some drinks before heading to the Edge and then came back afterwards for food and more drinks. The Mendoza was great as well as the green pressed juice cocktail. The bite sized pork tostadas were to die for: so much flavor pack in a small bite. The short rib tacos were also SO good! I highly recommend.
