Would skip - treated like a number versus customer
I recently went to Ainslie and they treated my bf and I badly. We barely got service for bottomless brunch. We got our food and 2 drinks. And between drinks- 30 mins passed, When we brought it up to our waiter he was dismissively gave us a last round and then while we were trying to enjoy our last round... they continuously sent different people to our table to ruin our experience further. Instead of acknowledging their mistake, they tried to rush us out. Ainslir doesn’t care about customer service... though one of the cheaper bottomless brunch options, I’d skip. Not worth the dismissive attitudes and total disregard for the customer!
Be the first to ReplyDO NOT GO HERE - Worst bottomless brunch I have ever had in my whole 27 years on earth
LOOKS GREAT ON THE OUTSIDE. HORRIFIC INSIDE. Wow. Where do I start. Firstly, we were greeted by the host, who is absolutely, without a shadow of a doubt, the single rudest man on the plant. We’ve eaten all over the world and, despite severe language barriers, have never encountered someone as horrific as this. The music… wow. Borderline offensive. One can only assume they’ve employed a deaf DJ based on the tracks we were subject to. I wouldn’t subject an elementary school disco to the playlist we heard, and to be honest, I don’t think they’d put up with it if I did. The ‘bottomless’ drinks are literal juice. Next to zero alcohol in them. I don’t know what more I can say. The food is horrendous. Penne alla vodka is worse than every microwave meal I’ve ever eaten. Cacio e Pepe is… well… lacking in pepper, as its main spice. We should’ve got an Uber Eats to the kerb. Despite the food being criminally poor, it’s the staff that got me. They are a disgrace to hospitality. I can’t speak for the kitchen team, but for the front of house staff to have the audacity to expect a tip is laughable. Their attitudes made us feel physically uncomfortable. DO NOT GO HERE. Also rating zero wasn’t an option but I absolutely would if I could.

I came here today for the first time with my daughter, mom, and Neice. Our server, Ollie, was really great! The food was amazing and we didn’t have to wait very long for it. I had the French Toast with strawberries and whipped cream. (Delish!) I’ll be dining here again in a couple of weeks for my fiancé’s birthday! Highly recommended!

Very fun spot in Brooklyn for brews and great cocktails. Service was superior, and the beer garden in the back is spacious. The decor is very well done.
We had a company event here for 16 folks or so and it was flawless. Food is decent as well - flatbread was delicious and the meatballs were cooked well.
Wish they had more beer choices on draft!
10/10 Go!
This place is perfect, I came here twice during my stay and both times were spot on. We were staying nearby at the Williamsburg hotel, and first visit we split two pies and some wings. I’m a Chicago guy so a little different than I’m used to, but it was excellent, and the wood fired wings were spot on! This place is massive and quality. Second time we dropped by for a late lunch and got something lighter before we hit the city- if you’re staying in Williamsburg it’s a must go, if you’re in Manhattan- take the train and go, you’ll thank me later

Story about a New Year’s Eve at Ainslie; spoiler alert, not worth it.
Reservation at 9:30pm for 11 persons, our waiter with a gigantic smile says that he’s going to take care of everything, confirms that everybody can have separate receipts and takes our drinks orders. The food was a fixed menu, pre-ordered days ago so it should go smoothly... Well, that it did not. All the food took sooooo long to come. We had to beg 4 times to have a refill for water; and our waiter was very annoyed when we asked for water again and where our food was because it took 30 minutes between salad and meal... But, because the tip is already included for large parties, no need to provide good service right?
11:45pm, still no entrees.
11:55pm, finally they arrived. Great midnight countdown with a chicken breast in my mouth.
12:05pm, free bubbly for countdown arrives, yep, well after the countdown.
I understand that on NYE, it’s going to be busy - but all other tables had been served and finished their meals. The menu was pre-ordered and very simple; meaning there was no reason it shouldn’t have gone smoothly.
Regarding the food, it was basic. The only positive aspect is the place itself that is very nice.
And of course, we only had one receipt for the whole table. Thank you Ainslie, you’ll never see me again and I hope that anyone reading this review will go somewhere else. Bye!
Absolutely amazing!
Let me just start off by stating an obvious fact, I had a wonderful time at Ainslie for a private event recently.
This venue is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. Every detail of the architectural design of this space was executed perfectly. The ambiance is everything to me. Ainslie is dimly lit throughout the entire space which I absolutely love. I was already wondering when I would come back and with whom lol.
Ainslie is huge and has plenty of seating. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Maria came around to every table to ensure that everyone was satisfied and doing well which was nice.
Our event was held upstairs in a private space that almost had a bar. There was a coat and bag check which was pretty cool rather than holding on to your belongings for the entire time.
Now let me talk about the FOOD! I love the fact that everything was already set up and ready for us to eat. Everything that I tasted was delicious, especially items from the Italian charcuterie and cheese board, pizza and the cheese risotto balls.
There was bruschetta with mascarpone and honey, pork sliders, various pizza options and dessert. However, it was pretty amazing how every time something was finished, how the staff keep replenishing the food so quickly. There was always piping hot food coming out of the kitchen.
I really enjoyed this event a lot because of the atmosphere, people and exceptional service. Thank you to the owners at Ainslie for allowing us to enjoy your wonderful space.
