APIZA Restaurant Salhiya Kuwait City Reviews from The Last Year

The pizza is the closest I've found in our area that competes with Connecticut style pizza. If you enjoy charred flavor pizza, this is the perfect place to try. We cannot wait for them to open their new larger restaurant in three weeks. Tell the owner Jimmy that the Pepe's sent you!!
Not sure what happened on this visit.
But a complete 180 from our last visit. The service was terrible, the Apizza was mediocre at best, definitely not how we remembered it. We really hyped this place up and took our cousins so they could experience what we did last time, and we were very disappointed. Bill was over $200 for 2 pizzas, 2 apps, garlic bread, 2 sodas, and 1 dessert. What Happened Fantini's ???? Not sure if we're gonna give it a try again.........:0((

The pizza was great when I went the first two years but now just so so plus I think we are paying for his new space remodel in the same plaza prices are getting crazy. Went to Pepes in Delray Beach and that was very good.
It's just ok.
Pretty dry pie, not that impressive for the price. When the New Haven joints had pies for around $12-$14 bucks it was an ok value. This place was $28 for a one topping that two of us finished with no problem. All in all 2 beers and a pizza was $54 with tip and we were hungry 3 hours later. There are much better values around that will leave you with leftovers. We have a gas Ooni that makes a great thin crust with charred edges as well. That suffice for next time.

There simply is no better Apizza in North America than Fantini's New Haven Style Pizza. I have left multiple reviews over time on how great this restaurant is, tonight we had a large meatball roasted pepper pie and an aunt Estella eggplant pie. Like every other time we have been to Fantini's, THIS APizza is the absolute bomb. It just keeps on getting better and better. Frank Pepe's, Sally's, Modern Apizza, Zupardee's in New Haven CT make very excellent pizza, but this amazing restaurant in little Stuart Florida blows them all away. I could not stuff the pizza down fast enough with each bite better than the last one. Each time visiting this great place, the next time has ALWAYS been better than the last. To top it off, Jimmy the owner found a way to seat us even though we didn't have a reservation. The service is always top notch and the food, well, David Portnoy from Barstool sports has no idea how good this pizza is when you get it fresh out of the oven. All I can say is, if you want pizza or an amazing Italian cooked meal, Fantini's will blow away your expectations. Thank you again for a fantastic meal! Already looking forward to the next time. Thanks Jimmy, you and your staff are the best!!!!
A buddy of mine is from New Haven and I'm from NY.
So, you know what the argument always is about who has better pie. Well I went there yesterday and it was really good I'm not going to lie. It's pretty pricey $27 for a plain pie but definitely worth it. I'm still not gonna tell him that.
Paid $28 for a large pepperoni pizza and it was burnt.
I didn't notice until I left the restaurant. I'm shocked they boxed it and sold it. Have some pride in what you do. Disappointment.
I loved this place when they first opened.
Lately I think they are resting on their laurels. I was there last week with my family and was raving about the pizza. We ordered 2 large pizzas. One arrived and the second was quite awhile in coming. We only had a couple of slices from the second pizza and took the rest home. When we got home we discovered that the majority of the bottom was burnt almost completely. Very disappointing. And what's with the waiter who kept filling our plates before they were empty??
Outstanding.
Winderful pizza. It was crispy on the outer edge of the crust and wonderfully soft towards the middle. Just the right amount of cheese. Yummy sauce. Excellent meatballs: large and soft with the perfect amount of bread blended in to keep them soft. Well-prepared caesar salad.
I was in the area and remember someone telling about how
I was in the area and remember someone telling about how good the pizza was so I called an placed an order for 2 Vodka , 1 sausage & 1 clam "LARGE" pizzas hoping to bring them home and surprise my family which were 45 minutes away! When I arrived and went to pay it was an astonishing $135!! yes $135!!! and they were not your normal large pies they were MEDIUM at best!! When I got home and opened the boxes they were way overcooked had very little toppings on them and tasted horrible!! Needless to say they went in the garbage and we ordered our usual Pizza from Dominicks and it was absolutely delicious!! This place is a total RIPOFF!! STAY AWAY!!!

When you sell a reservation that has a prepaid fee AT takes a commission on that fee. This doesn’t really make sense because it’s an expense the seller incurs not part of the profit that is shared.
For example:
Carbone NYC fee to book table for 2 is $108.88
If you sell it for $200 on AT you get $140 from them.
Your net profit is $31 and AT collects $60 in fees.
It would make more sense not to charge commission on the upfront fee as this creates a disincentive and results in higher costs for buyers.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
