Tasteless, luke warm food
Definitely not worth the money, food tasteless, and barely warm, the noodles had a strange taste maybe to much salt or something 😒 Alot of the food was not replenished, so lots of empty trays. Try finding a plate!! I won't be going back.
Be the first to Replyhated it
This place is not worth the money at all and actually ruined an otherwise good valentines day for me and my boyfriend. The food is bad quality- half of the food is cold and dry and a lot of the main foods (noodles, rice etc) does not taste how it is supposed to, that also includes the desserts- and it is very overcrowded and almost overstimulating. Many customers have zero spatial awareness. I would absolutely NOT recommend this place to anyone for a date or even a casual dinner out.
Be the first to ReplyAverage food, a tad over priced
We paid 25pounds each for lunch here at the weekend. Had a max of 1 hour and 30 mins for the table before I think they ask you to leave. We didn't stay that long so unsure. Food was OK, not always hot, typical buffet fare but a wide variety Probably wouldn't go back, too busy and noisy and food quality not great.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing experience overall
Overall poor experience, food was below average, service to refill dishes was very slow. Nothing stood out as decent, compared to other similar buffets it's way over priced.

Visited Aroma Buffet for a family get together celebrating a birthday. It's perfect for all tastes and styles. Such a varied menu, so much to choose from, such a big seating area - it was really enjoyable. Spoilt for choice, whether you like English, Chinese, Japanese or just cakes and desserts - & reasonably priced, considering you can eat as much as you want. The drinks were paid for separately, but they're a decent price too. Thoroughly recommend
Be the first to ReplyTasteless and over cooked food
This restaurant still has not improved since I was here a year ago the food was over cooked and tasteless the chicken wings were burnt and deep fried way too long and the same for the other fried foods once again I'm disappointed and this time I definitely won't be going back. The crispy duck was so over cooked and dry that no amount of sauce would make any difference!!! Seriously Aroma you need to step up!

Good food and varied buffet. Crowds, including lots of roaming children. Marred by the loud piped music. Cannot go back.

The food was cold, the chicken was tough and chewy! Overall it was well overpriced for cold food! The deserts had a good range again though the items that were meant to be hot were cold. The food was cold not even a little warm - just cold!
Be the first to ReplyToo overpriced for little variety of a buffet
Visited yesterday for something to eat about 14:00. Paid £38 for 2 of us and for two unlimited refill drinks. Had about 2 plates of food because the choice of variety wasn’t very great. Most of the food wasn’t filled back up by the staff, they just kept walking past It. Personally wouldn’t go back again If I’m honest, very disappointing and not worth the money at all.
Be the first to ReplyVery average
Toilets are disgusting. More like a urune swimming pool. Food is average and could be warmer. Soft drinks are all very weak Overall about 4 out of 10. But the kids still loved it!
Be the first to ReplyA massive range
Visited for lunch on a Sat in Jan. We were seated within 2 mins of arrival. They accommodated my elderly mum in her wheelchair with no issues and directed us to the dedicated disabled toilet. There was a massive range of food, including Thai and sushi. Some of it could have been hotter, but that's more to do with other customer leaving the lids open. Empty containers were filled quickly. Everything was tasty and cooked well. The service was good, with used plates cleared quickly enough to make room but not so quickly that you felt like they were running out-which I've found at other buffet. There is also a large dessert selection. I didn't have anything, but the others did and said it was tasty. It IS a little pricy at £27 per head, incl unlimited soft drinks for and hour and a half. Which is the only reason I'm giving this 4 instead of 5.
Be the first to ReplyReally yummy food!!!
Amazing food! A very wide selection, definitely something for everyone! Also a clean and hygienic atmosphere with constant restocks of the options so me and my friends were very happy. The price was £24pp which I thought was okay considering the options available. The food was well presented and everything looked appetising. Also the staff were friendly and quick to clean dirty plates and empty buffet options. Would recommend to anyone and definitely come back here soon!

Wouldn’t recommend to anyone partner got food poisoning, food wasn’t nice at all , waste of £22 each
Be the first to ReplyA gem of a restaurant
Aroma is a fantastic restaurant with great, affordable food, together with really helpful staff. The atmosphere is relaxed and as the place is spacious; ideal for both family and party bookings alike. It is also wheelchair accessible. Would definitely recommend.
Be the first to ReplyFood is Awful
This place used to be delicious but the quality of food has really dropped and the price is almost double. Really can't recommend it anymore.
Be the first to ReplySpend £22 somewhere else. Food quality low.
Sushi was never replenished... Sashimi never was put out. I asked 3 times and always told it was coming out. Quality of food in general for worse. £22?????? And soft drink is not included. I will not go there anymore. I rather spend £22 in a proper restaurant with quality ingredients.
Be the first to ReplyPoor and tasteless food
On entering this restaurant it looks grand and very nice, I was there for a birthday celebration the date was 19.03.22 and I have been to many Chinese Buffets before however the food in this restaurant is tasteless, no flavour to anything even the egg fried rice was over cooked and the egg was burnt. The containers were not constantly replenished with hot food so most of the dishes were luke warm the beef was tough and needed hours more braising. I will not be eating here again as I found it a disappointing experience as for £21 per head for food and it is not hot and tasty is a no, no and I will not be recommending this place.
Be the first to ReplySo very disappointed
I saw an instagram post praising this place and I thought hey I’ll give that a try. I was very disappointed with the food, it was utterly tasteless. The best things were the side dishes like tempura prawns and garlic bread and that’s it, I tried everything and that was my final outcome of what was the best tasting food. The deserts were a let down too, the eclairs were filled with spoiled tasting cream which left me feeling very sick after eating just one of them. The chocolate covered waffle was decent but the chocolate tasted like plastic and the waffle type did not suit the chocolate coverage, tasted good but was not a palatable texture.
Be the first to ReplyReally Disappointing
I used to be a regular customer back in 2013 when I lived in London - at the weekend I back. £21 was a bit steep but refillable drinks for £2,50 was reasonable - I was very impressed at the make over the place has had. However the food was very disappointing no longer have the fantastic pork ribs (replaced by greasy lamb), the chicken dishes were all over cooked and most things cold. The Pad Tai was OK and the Thai Green Curry was tasty. There were lots of fish dishes and sushi but that is not my thing.
The redeeming point was the amazing fried ice cream rolls which really blew me away and tasted so good I had seconds.
But the food was very disappointing.
Disappointed in Aroma Buffet in Shepherd’s Bush
We went Aroma buffet in Shepherd’s Bush for dinner. Paid £47 total. The starters were disappointing. The spring rolls and samosas were very small with very little ingredients. The duck for pancake was dry. Main dishes were oily and disappointing. Even the sashimi was tasteless. Not good value for money. There are better Chinese locally. Pity as this restaurant was better a few years ago.
Be the first to ReplyDinner at Aroma for daughters birthday!
I visit Aroma probably once every 2 or 3 months. Hardly ever leave reviews for restaurants. However, the food has ALWAYS been fantastic! There is something for everyone! Fantastic Chinese dishes, Thai flavours and even Fish, chips or Pizza for those not wanting Asian food! The sushi is great, as is the Teppanyaki.
Staff here are so lovely! Elizabeth cleans away all the food left on tables and is delightful to ALL children!
Paul is also such a lovely waiter here! There is not a more family friendly restaurant. Perfect for birthdays or just a family gathering!
I've seen some of the reviews and can honestly say, I have NEVER had a bad experience with the food here! For the price you pay, the huge variety of dishes that are available, it's fantastic! The food could not be cold all the time as they replenish and replace all the items quickly and very efficiently.
I think they do a great job there and service is always wonderful. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars from us!
Worst Buffet
My partner and I decided to have a quick dinner before our film starts. Aroma looked wonderful from the outside however as they say don’t judge a book by it’s cover. The food was absolutely terrible; cold and lukewarm at best. The sweet and sour chicken was the worst I had, squid tasted like it came from frozen food, don’t even mention the other food. Only saving grace was the nasi goreng which tasted yummy. Don’t get me started with the deserts, when it comes to cakes I have high expectations but let down with how hard they were. Horrendously hard, can’t even get my fork to half it. Anyways not worth the money, don’t waste your time.

I give rating of 5 stars to Aroma Chinese Buffet Restaurant. We went there last night. The staff are serious but I think that is the culture. I don’t mind that. The food was lovely with a huge selection and a large variety of meat and vegetables which had been professionally prepared and were delicious and finally desserts. I give 5 stars as such a huge selection at reasonable cost is rare, although, it would have been better if the food was hotter.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing
The front house staff were not very friendly, the food was tasteless. I tried 2 divergent rice both sets just warm and had little flavour. I also tried sweet and sour chicken which was bland, and lemon chicken which tasted of chicken but no lemon. The desserts were no better dry chocolate cake ice cream that had melted and was re-frozen. Altogether an experience we would not want to repeat.

Frankly, 19.99 pounds is not worth. If you expect that japanese food, just some rolls and not fresh shrimps. For chinese foods. Cosmo is cheaper and taste better. Not recommended!
