Good food
The food was good ( we ordered lasagna and chicken). Attention: Excellent ( quick) The only thing I would have liked to see more cocktail options.

Superb meal here. Courgette flowers and gazpacho soup scrumptious. Fabulous seafood pasta. Ice cream for pudding. Great atmosphere, service and food. Would definitely go again.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious and cozy in the West Village
I happened upon this place during a short visit to New York, and I'm so glad I did! Good service, fresh delicious food, good wine. It was also cozy and quiet, so a nice respite from the hubbub of the West Village. I sat at the bar and just enjoyed the ambiance. Try the Black Sea Bass!
Be the first to ReplyFood so good that you want to taste everything service outstanding
For sure that is the place to good for your brunch, your lunch and your diner The waitress was helpful to advise first to go for savory and then for sweet Our salmon eggs Benedict were perfect in size and in taste The goat cheese omelette was 90% perfect (just missed salt and pepper) The Nutella and berry French toast was out of this world

Stopped in for Happy Hour, stayed for dinner! Drinks were recommended and perfect, food was superb, wonderful service and conversation with Darko. Great tourist advice and directions.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious meal, good service
Visited on Sunday evening. Friendly staff, meal arrived promptly. Duck special was delicious. Partner had spinach pasta. Both tasty, good quantity without being overfacing. Had room for chocolate mouse/brownie. Happy to pay for quality.
Be the first to ReplyWe came back the other day
We went here twice last week, very friendly enthousiastic staff, we had black ink pasta and a salad when we arrived late in evenkn, both looked nice and tasted great. Very good Montepulciano dโAbruzzo! The other day bass which was cooked excellent, very juicy and lamb ragout pasta, highly recommended. Had white Falanghina wine, interesting, some body with lots of freshness. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful combination of wood, steel and brickwall with attention to detail. And all this for very reasonable pricesโฆ.
Be the first to ReplyPerfect Village spot for Brunch
Booked for Saturday brunch. Excellent choice of food and drinks. I had lobster Benedict, my partner had steak and eggs, both were really good. Combined with a scrummy habenero cocktail with a definite kick. Friendly staff and nice vibe
Be the first to ReplyGood food comes in small spaces.
We had brunch at Baker & Co. All three of us were very happy with our selections. I had the Eggs Benedict with prosciutto and truffles. Delish!! The pomegranate mimosa was yummy as well. It is a small space and popular, so make reservations.
Be the first to ReplyThere was a mouse
We had dinner on the Baker & Co. outdoor patio and unfortunately spotted a live mouse underneath our table. We raised this concern with the service team but they only offered to seat us indoors (we were halfway through our meal), rather than take care of the issue itself. The food was good but I would not return to this restaurant again due to their inaction and lack of cleanliness.
Be the first to ReplyDecent food, acceptable service
We dined here as a large party of 3 families with 11 people. I always get irritated at restaurants that won't keep separate checks by family and they won't. The food is good, try the calamari or the burger. Service was quick enough for a large party, we were in and out in two hours. Dividing the check our self later was a bit of a hassle but we got it. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food.
Be the first to ReplyGood food, neat atmosphere, service is a bit slow
Not sure if COVID has an impact on the number of people working but the waiter was also the bartender. Also, TINY,TINY tables. You can barely fit your food on a table. Ok for a two top but larger parties wonโt be comfortable. Very nice Happy Hour (only available at the bar). All of the pastas are fresh. Meatball was the only thing that wasnโt very good, way too dry. A pretty good wine list (no full bar, beer and wine only). Other than the slow service, it is worth visiting if you are in the area
Be the first to ReplyGreat place to brunch
Stopped in on a whim and luckily had a table available as it was packed.
Tables had clear dividers and service was great. Warmers for the outdoor seating was very welcome in the raw 50 degree drizzling weather.
We had the eggs benedict with prosciutto and zucchini yellow squash and goat cheese frittata.
All was delicious. Great place to brunch.
Added on the pomegranate mimosas which were very tasty.
Enjoyed the visit.. thank you to the staff.
CV-19 review: Excellent food, great safe service
People were enjoying themselves in the garden area, drinking, chatting ... but those in-the-know were definitely there for the food & drink. I loved this place. The garden setting was Manhattan chic (and with discrete dividers between tables), with elegant lighting on the tables (not a shamed tea light, lol). I tried the soup special (asparagus and goat cheese), which as well as being tasty, was perfectly smooth and balanced, so neither of the main ingredients ran away with the flavor. My main course was the Lasagne, which was rich and tasty, and a surprisingly large serving (I wasnโt complaining). I finished my meal with the Tiramisu, which was again a decent-sized serving, but needed a little more booze in it to round it out properly, but was also light and creamy delicious, regardless of the alcohol content. Talking of which, the beer menu was a refreshing change because it featured a few good beers that you wonโt find anywhere else. My friends informed me that the Espresso Martini was โknock-outโ good. I would definitely go back to this place again.
Be the first to ReplyIn Dire Straights, a Superlative Place
This cafe cum gathering place for the hip and the suave and the intelligenica, and the plain old Village-ites like me has the best branzino in the city, which is saying a lot! Ditto for the slab bacon. The pastas are uniformly excellent and can be made with gluten free pasta. I don't eat dessert, but I took my son and future daughter-in-law there, and they loved the cheese cake and a dark chocolate one.
Onward with great food and wine and cocktails, (and the great cheeses for the happy hour, courtesy of Murray's across the street!)
Can't wait to go back! Margaret Blackstone
Wonderful food and service!
Wonderful food and service! There were eight of us on a Saturday and every single one of us loved our entree and appetizers. The food and drinks came out fast. If you are gluten free, they have the best spaghetti noodles I have ever had.
Be the first to ReplyA spectacular brunch in a rustic surrounding
We were so lucky that one of our cousins discovered this restaurant in our neighborhood! We had a wonderful brunch with many different plates of food including several frittatas, several types of eggs Benedict ( a prosciutto one, a spicy pork Ragu one), interesting baked eggs, and more traditional scrambled eggs and bacon. Each was well prepared and the bacon is simply extraordinary. I was not impressed with the apple cider mimosa. One recommendation is that on Sunday you arrive as close to the opening at 10:30 as possible because it appears that this is a really well liked place and it filled up within minutes of our arriving just before 10:30. The wait staff couldnโt be more helpful and the entire experience was terrific. Now that weโve discovered it we know will go back and try some of the other interesting possibilities. The dinner menu looked very interesting as well and we are likely to try that as well.
Be the first to ReplyAlways a Pleasant Evening
My husband and I stop for happy hour and dinner several times a year when we are in the city. The happy hour featured wine and beer are very good, and they serve complimentary olives and pizza. Dinners are delicious, and the wait staff are attentive. There is a subway station just minutes from the restaurant.
