Went here for a friends birthday brunch and was pleasantly surprised! All the food was really good, especially the burrata prosciutto eggs Benedict. One thing to note is they don't serve hard liquor, but their drinks are still great!

Really good spot, accommodated group of 16 and had amazing and fast service with yummy apps and a great eggs Benedict. the bloody mary rocked my socks #stoletheshow. Gotta give it a 4 tho... 5 seemed to strong

Updating my review because I was really disappointed in my brunch this time.I ordered the eggs with a piece of an English muffin, a potato cake, and some salad. I asked for poached and the eggs basically came out hard boiled. Two of my friends got the eggs Benedict and had the same situation... extremely disappointing. The salad was maybe five leaves. The potato cake was cold and didn't have any flavor. Definitely was not the experience I was hoping for. Also this just looked like a sad plate of food. Yes, it was my choice, but I expected the potatoes and eggs to be better. Plus, at least give me the whole English muffin...

As a group of 3, we were able to get a day of reservation at this cozy Italian spot - a warm, cozy environment in a fun area of West Village. The food hit the spot, including a Gluten free Cacio e Pepe that was delicious! My espresso martini was a little underwhelming but overall, really enjoyed Baker & Co!

I have been going to Baker & Co for brunch a few times a year. Every time I think they will change something but nothing event changes. The positive is that the food is delicious. But the negative is kind of the factor that makes me avoid this place. They cram in so many chairs and tables that it's impossible to stand up and even turn. I hate this place for this weird setup and I am not even a big person. Management should really rethink how poorly the place is set up. So 5 stars for food and 2 stars for the setup!
Be the first to ReplyCame here for brunch on a Sunday.
Made a reservation on Opentable for 12, but my group showed up early at 11:30 and they quickly accommodated us. They let us know we would have a seating limit of an hour and a half which is plenty of time. The restaurant itself is very cute. We were seated inside, but the outdoor area also looked very charming. I personally struggled figuring out what to order because I couldn't find any pictures of most of the brunch menu items and I'm a visual person, so I decided to be safe and go with the Cacio e Pepe. It was decent, but not anything special that I would come back for. My friends split the Nutella French toast and scrambled eggs, and they both really liked it. They did charge an extra $3 for each topping to the eggs (they got mushrooms and cheese) which seems a little excessive, but otherwise a cute place to get brunch.

The croquettes were amazing 5/5. Bloody Mary 4/5. My burger was a 5/5. I got a salad with it. Her Benedict was awesome. So many good brunch spots. We might be back!
Be the first to ReplyI remember coming to Baker & Co in the winter a few years
I remember coming to Baker & Co in the winter a few years back when Baker & Co actually served enormous portions of delicious food with great service. But the past few times have been inconsistent in terms of food and service. From my many visits, I would say some great dishes include the mac and cheese, lasagna, and eggs benedict with smoked salmon. All the dishes at Baker & Co are good for the price you pay but don't standout in nyc's brunch scene. The food is also not consistently hot. The last visit, I was served lukewarm food at best. The service is also inconsistent, sometimes you'll have a friendly waiter and sometimes you'll have a waiter who is totally indifferent. The ambiance hasn't changed much and remains a casual cozy brunch spot in the West Village. I've been coming back due to the affordability and good first impression I had of Baker & Co, but it's time to find the next West Village brunch gem.
Be the first to ReplyStumbled on to this place and it's a gem.
Best Benedicts I've had possibly ever, and the back patio with good heating was a plus. In an area with great cuisine this is right up there. Highly recommended.

Went here on a Friday morning for breakfast and the whole place was empty. Maybe we were up earlier than everyone but even when we left there was no one there! Delicious food, we split the Nutella French toast and ate on the back patio. It was such a good treat to split between us, and the owner was friendly and told us many people order it as an appetizer or even dessert. Cute little area, a little hard to find unless you're looking for it. But overall good experience.
Be the first to ReplyFood was not too good and very weird service.
They were rushing us out from the very moment we walked in. Food was tastless, except the truffel fries which were pretty good.

Visited here for a dinner on Wednesday with a couple of friends. The ambience of the place is pretty nice and they have an outdoor patio in the back which was comfortable and warm. We all shared a bottle of wine, the Brussel spout salad, broccolini and Burrata and each got our our pasta dishes. I wasn't too impressed with the food for the prices they were - it was great when it was nice and hot but tasted bland to me overall.

amazing restaurant! great date spot with a back HEATED patio for the colder days. it is decorated like a 4 dollar sign restaurant with beautiful flowers and sleek furniture and lighting details. i had the chicken with truffle fries and my friend had the lasagnas. excellent!! the server was also quite lovely, checking in on us often. will be back soon!!
Be the first to ReplyThis is your classic lunch spot in the village.
Was treated with great service and our waiter never let my cup of coffee get less than half full, no joke. I probably had 3 cups and was wired within 30 minutes. Strong stuff, don't do a me. Great decore, though we sat on the patio and were a bit chilly, though what did I really expect during January.
Be the first to ReplyAdorable hidden gem.
Outstanding small happy hour of select red, white n sparkle.Yummy calamari and splendid atmosphere like a secret garden you'd walk pass if you didn't pay attention.

Just what we were looking for! Stopped here for dinner with some friends who live in West Village and highly recommended this place. The vibe inside was amazing: perfect for an intimate dinner catching up with friends. The patio looked like a fun option during warmer weather (we'll definitely have to check it out during a summer trip)! Their wine list was very generous. I always appreciate a restaurant with a variety of wines fit for any dish you order. I also love that you can order by the glass or bottle for most of their selections. Definitely made it easy and more cost effective for our table of 7! For dinner, I ordered the Spaghetti Black Ink, which was better than I expected! The seafood portions within the dish were incredibly generous for the price point. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the flavor was spot on! The entire table ordered differently: all the pasta dishes looked incredible (my husband's lasagna I can say tasted AMAZING). Two of our friends ordered their burgers and even those looked great and came with a generous portion of fries.Overall, really enjoyed this spot and will definitely make a point to stop in on our next trip to the city!

Absolutely incredible restaurant! We got the Croquettes, Butternut Squash Soup, NY Strip Steak, and the Black Ink Pasta. My favorite was the steak, which was cooked perfectly and came with the most delicious broccolini. Our meal also came with free bread and balsamic vinegar in olive oil.The restaurant itself was beautiful, and we sat outside surrounded by string lights. It's a small and cozy space. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!
Be the first to ReplyHad a group dinner here with friends and have to say all
Had a group dinner here with friends and have to say all the food can only be described as inedible. The "Cacio e Pepe" Mac & cheese was actually disgusting, sent it back. All the apps were pretty tasteless and the table bread was hard and stale. I would not recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed brunch here. My friend and I both got the French toast which was great. The place felt lively and drew in a mixed crowd of various age groups for a weekend brunch.
Be the first to ReplyCame here with friends! It is a cute little restaurant.
Pretty narrow all the way down. They have outdoor seating towards the back of the restaurant and it was adorable!! But very crowded I must admit. But still very lovely. Can be romantic as well. The menu was a bit hard for me to be honest. Nothing really popped out to me but I ended up getting the Mac and cheese and it was a bit bland but everything else was lovely!

Baker & Co never disappoints! Cozy atmosphere and the food is consistently top quality. The staff is very accommodating and welcoming. Menu has an excellent selection, I love sharing dishes with friends. I usually like to try different restaurants with so many choices in NY, but this is a place I go back to knowing I am guaranteed a delicious Italian meal.

A cozy, casual dinner spot with decent italian-inspired food! While everything we ordered was great, I really liked the truffle fries and the croquette the best. I would also highly recommend the affogato for dessert. They make a mascarpone gelato that is to die for. Baker & Co surely did not disappoint!
