All of our food was EXCELLENT.
Every part of the meal was so flavorful and came together perfectly. Would come again. Green juice was so fresh.

Found this place online when i looked for best breakfast places. It didn't disappoint at all. The food was really good. The banana nut bread was sweet and didn't require any more syrup.
Be the first to ReplyMy wife and I decided to try Bakers and Roasters for brunch
My wife and I decided to try Bakers and Roasters for brunch on our last day of our trip in Amsterdam. We arrived right at 10 on a Sunday morning and it was a steady crowd, but there was a wait by the time we left. We were in and out of the restaurant in under an hour and it was some of the fastest service I've seen in Europe. The food could not have been better and we both thoroughly enjoyed what we ordered. We also enjoyed our drinks. The waitress was very friendly as well. My only pet peeve that could have made the meal better would have been to of had another foot of spacing from the other tables in each side of us. My wife and I were laughing about the discussion the people next to us were having after we left the restaurant. Would happily eat here regularly if I lived nearby.

My husband and I had Bakers & Roasters for our first breakfast in Amsterdam. Our dishes were delicious! It was the best way to kick off a long day of exploring Amsterdam. We'd highly recommend them and would love to revisit whenever we travel back!

Be the first to ReplyReally solid brunch place in a convenient part of town.
Portions were generous, but nothing felt too heavy; every component of our dishes felt fresh and healthful. I'm not vegetarian but the veggie brekkie sounded delicious, and it was! Staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was both calm but energizing; it was a great way to start the day.
Be the first to ReplyWe had a spectacular breakfast here.
Arrived around 10:30 on a Friday, and while busy, we were seated right away, and provided with menus. Our server came over a few minutes after we were seated, and took our drink and food order. While waiting for our food, and eating, we were both amazed by the efficiency of this place. As soon as someone leaves, the table is wiped/cleaned and reset. Our food came out fairly quickly, and everything was very generously portioned. I went with the eggs Benedict that had smoked salmon vs bacon, hollandaise and avocado, on thick-cut country style bread with lots of butter. It was delicious. Bob ordered the fruit bowl, which was a generous portion of fruit, with juice in the bowl, a side of yogurt and toast. I had a latte - the coffee was delicious - very flavorful/robust beans. There's also a surprising about of seating out front, inside, and out back. Highly recommend.

Very nice on first impression! Greeted and seated in less than 2 minutes. This is a nice breakfast/brunch spot for two. The seating inside is really tight yet it still didn't feel overcrowded or too noisy. There were some good selections on the menu but I decided on the French toast with a side of scrambled eggs. The French toast was amazing! Good enough that I'll likely go back before leaving Amsterdam. There were a few different servers in rotation and they checked in often. There were no delays in service at all. I did have an espresso martini which paired very well with my meal.

After 2 failed attempts at other places we came across this place - what a find! Amazing food and fantastic service with a friendly smile. The bacon and eggs were some of the best we've had on holiday, and the pancakes really hit the spot with the kids. To top it off, great coffee and the bloody Mary's hit the mark. Two thumbs up!
Be the first to ReplyGreat food, good pricing! Coffee was delicious as well.
you have to scan a QR code to get on their waitlist. Definitely a good spot for lunch when near the museums!

I liked the fact that as soon as you walk up you're able to scan a QR code to place name on waitlist: We were a group of 5 and were seated fairly quickly considering the group in front of us. Once seated we were given waters and offered other drinks. The matcha latte was very good. The portion sizes were large and the food delicious. The French toast was probably my favorite of our options.

This place is packed! Service was excellent and food was good. For breakfast, a lot of bread is served. It's delicious, but a lot. Eggs were perfectly prepared. Price was a bit high, I thought. Cool vibe inside.

I got the B&R Special, which includes eggs (choice of poached, scrambled, or fried) on toast with bacon, along with a mini stack of pancake plus syrup. I chose scrambled eggs and they were the fluffiest eggs I have ever had. The toast was great too, it was so fluffy and healthy because I think it was multigrain. The pancakes were done well too; a little bland but the texture was amazing (these are American pancakes, so fluff is key). I also got an iced latte which was just a hot latte in ice; would recommended a normal hot latte because the iced was a little watered down. Overall, a popular place to stop by. They have a virtual wait list so you do not have to stand outside and wait.

Cute place but no personal space. We also ordered the banana French toast was delicious

Very hip brunch place in the hip De pijp neighborhood of amsterdam. Highly recommend their kiwi brekkie, good portion size and the sausage is very tasty. Feels on the pricier end, but does nothing to discourage the crowds waiting to try

It was a good place for brunch, although we had to wait for 40 min to get it after putting our name on waiting list, their service was amazing but i had a expected more for their pancake but it was just a regular pancake, but we enjoyed our brunch time there!
Be the first to ReplyIt was good.
We had the sandwich of the day and croquettes. Only 8 euros each. Service was friendly and efficient. The food tasted fresh and good.

Fantastic place! Really enjoyed my time with my friends there. Customer service is great.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food, ambiance, and customer service.
We were very pleased with our menu selections as the foods were tasty and served at proper temperature. The Kiwi Plate, Huevos Rancheros, pancakes and eggs royal were tops on our plates and pallets. Even the caipirinhas were yummy. We plan to be back! Be sure to sign in from the waitlist on the kiosk when you arrive.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing food and fantastic hot drinks.
The chai latte was wonderful. It's a popular place so there's too no to be a bit of a wait. Definitely worth it though.

We were in Amsterdam for only one morning and yelped local breakfasts and found this one at the top of the list. This place does not disappoint and it may be one of my favorite breakfasts' of all time (a big statement, I know). My boyfriend got an incredible pork (different for breakfast, I'm also aware) with a mango salsa, chipotle aioli sauce, freshly made eggs and toast and the flavors combined so well together. I got the B&R special because I couldn't decide from all the goodness. It was a mix of pancakes, eggs, toast, and bacon. We also shared a side of fruit which was incredible and it was probably the best cappuccino I've had yet. Can't recommend this place enough!
