We had a large party, but the management and staff of Barcelona accommodated us on a busy Friday night. We tried most of the menu and everything was not only excellent, but unique as well. My wife and I collect wine and we were surprised by the quality of the wine flights. We've already recommended Barcelona to friends... the superb service and fun atmosphere will keep us coming back!

I have come here several times for work dinners as well as personal dinners and have probably tried almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed! Tip is to ask your server to do a wine pairing with the food you order! Some favorites we have here are the whipped sheep's cheese, meatballs, mushrooms, chorizo paella, gambino shrimp and Marcona almonds. The aesthetic of this place is lovely and the service is always great. Highly recommend this place for a date night!

Dishes are tasty and diverse so there will be something for everyone but watch yourself as costs adds up fast. Worth a visit.

Fun and sophisticated atmosphere with so many delicious tapas to choose from! Get the patatas braves!

Only come here if you want amazing food in human sized proportions with a cool ambience, excellent (and service usually sucks these days), and a live band at times. If you hate al these things, DiGiorno frozen pizza or someone else's left over room service meal on the floor of the hotel may be more your style (been there, done that, don't recommend). Barcelona is one of the few places in Nashville that I've gone to more than ten times!!!
Be the first to ReplyBarcelona Wine Bar presents a vibrant and cozy atmosphere,
Barcelona Wine Bar presents a vibrant and cozy atmosphere, inviting diners into a space that feels both rustic and contemporary, reminiscent of a Spanish bodega. The restaurant's dedication to an authentic tapas experience is evident in its meticulously curated wine list and the thoughtful presentation of each dish. Starting with the appetizers, the Spinach Chickpea Cazuela is a delightful blend of textures and flavors. The chickpeas offer a satisfying bite, perfectly complemented by the softness of the spinach. The dish is subtly spiced, allowing the natural flavors of the ingredients to shine, creating a harmonious start to the meal. The Cauliflower with Spicy Almond Romesco is another standout, showcasing the kitchen's ability to elevate simple ingredients into something extraordinary. The cauliflower is roasted to perfection, offering a tender bite with a slightly crispy edge. The spicy almond romesco sauce adds a bold, nutty flavor with just the right amount of heat, making this dish an unforgettable part of the culinary journey. However, the Paella Mariscos, intended to be the highlight of the evening, fell short of expectations. Traditionally a showcase of seafood's delicate flavors, this rendition was disappointingly dry and verged on burnt. The usual harmony of saffron-infused rice and succulent seafood was lost, leaving much to be desired in what should have been a vibrant and flavorful main course. In summary, Barcelona Wine Bar excels in creating an inviting atmosphere and delivering most dishes with a finesse that transports diners to the heart of Spain. While the appetizers are a testament to the kitchen's capability, the Paella Mariscos' misstep serves as a reminder that even the best can have off days. Nevertheless, the restaurant's charm and the majority of its culinary offerings make it a destination worth visiting for those seeking an authentic tapas experience.
Be the first to ReplyBarcelona is my go to spot in Edgehill.
Love sitting at the bar by myself and grabbing a sangria with a couple of tapas. The staff is super friendly and always helping you decide on the best things on the menu. It's also an amazing spot for brunch! If going for dinner for more than 2 people I would definetly grab a reservation on their site. My favorite thing: the truffle bikini and the red sangria. Best brunch item: poached egg with hollandaise and fresh ham. I've been many times and it never disappoints. Barcelona has great vibes all around no matter where you are sat in the restaurant!
Be the first to ReplyThe food was delicious.
Each tapa was delectable and truly mind boggling with how impressive the service, plating, and taste was. I am stunned and in love. Will be back asap.
Be the first to ReplyBarcelona is such a great dinner spot for special
Barcelona is such a great dinner spot for special occasions!! The servers are so great and frequently give out complimentary appetizers. The restaurant has great indoor and outdoor seating. My favorites are the patatas bravas, the charcuterie boards, the sheeps cheese, and the croquetas. The overall environment is really fun, especially for big groups. The sangria pitchers are also a must!!!

This place is amazing! We didn't have reservations but only waited 7-10 min for two bar seats. Food was delicious and the service was tip top. Bartenders were very helpful with food selection as well as drinks.
Be the first to ReplyRuined our family dinner.
Seated 45 minutes after reservation time. 30 minutes after being seated, we were attended to for drinks ORDER. Little interaction with staff, we felt like an afterthought.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent customer service, right portion size, amazing
Excellent customer service, right portion size, amazing wine selection, every item we ordered was tasty. I guess that sums up this place. It's really a great place to chill out and enjoy some good wine and tapas plates. We tried the Brussels sprouts, spinach and chickpea, blistered shishito peppers were amazing. Flan Catalan per my husband was amazing, I don't eat egg containing desserts so just tasted it.
Be the first to ReplyIt's okay, drinks are good but food was nothing to write
It's okay, drinks are good but food was nothing to write home about. A lot of the times they are out of certain food items. It's kind of bland and some unpopular items come out not tasting too good. It's a good place to hang out with a group of friends and get drinks and small apps. That's the point of tapas! But other than that, service kind of sucks, the bar area is PACKKKEEDD and as a result you have people bumping and leaning on your table while they are swarming around looking for a bar seat. There is no regulation of the bar area, it's a brawl and bunch of sharks staring at you while you are eating and drinking waiting for you to get up as soon as you are done or else they will constantly come ask "are you leaving soon." I don't know if it's a Tennessee thing or what but it was annoying. Carrots with labneh was ok, carrots were cronchyyy, not much roasting. Lobster risotto was good heavy but kind of bland, so much potential. Meatballs were slightly tough (how??) sauce was good but wish it had more spices. Empanadas we're not as crunchy and flaky. Croquettes were good, crowd pleaser, if you mess these up then you should close down lol but they were delicious.
Be the first to ReplyWe arrived at 6:30 and sat at the bar.
After a great experience, we wouldn't sit anywhere else. Laird's Way, a scotch cocktail, actually pleased my single malt scotch lover of a husband. Amazing! I really enjoyed the Smoked Sherry Manhattan. A lot.We had an assortment of tapas including whipped sheep's cheese, Albindigas (meatballs), crispy pork belly and spices beef empanadas. It was so wonderful. Get extra bread with the whipped cheese as there is lots of it.I recommend this spot very highly!!
Be the first to ReplyThis was a great find! After reading several online reviews
This was a great find! After reading several online reviews we decided to give it a go and we are glad we did! The wine was very good and we opted for a Charcuterie board and few items from the Tapas menu for the table. olives, meatballs and empanada. All the food was good, the only thing they "missed" on was that they were out of olive oil for dipping the fresh baked bread into (not sure exactly how a Spanish Tapas Bar can run out of presumably Spanish Olive Oil but I guess we will find out the next time we go back. There were 3 of us this time and we opted for seats in the bar area. Service was quick and helpful and overall we were pleased. We will be adding Barcelona to our rotation of stops when in the Nashville area.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing restaurant and I definitely recommend.
Great price for what you are getting. Some of the best food I have ever eaten. Very fun ambiance around the bar area

This place is anyways nuts with super long wait times and no bar seating. Not worth the hype. 0/10 do not recommend.
Be the first to ReplyStopped in as we started on an impromptu day trip.
I did make a reservation online as we were driving up, but as we arrived a bit early we were seated at the bar and waited for our table there. I would definitely recommend making a reservation as it was packed at 8:00 on a Wednesday night. The bartenders were very accommodating and knowledgeable about the wine and cocktails. When we sat at the table the waitress told us that most people order about 3 tapas but when we get tapas we're used to ordering quite a few at the tapas bars we frequent in Atlanta. We ordered the Blistered Shishito Peppers, Mushrooms, Gambas, PEI Mussels, Calamari, Dates, Ibรฉrico Lomo and they accidentally brought the Mahon cheese, as well. Everything was really excellent. Good quality and fresh. The dish we liked the least was by far the calamari. It definitely wasn't bad, just heavy, oily and a little under-seasoned. However, the shrimp and scallops were perfectly cooked. We had such a great time and are planning our next trip back!
Be the first to ReplyI have been here several times.
The food really brings me back to my time living in Spain. Is it exactly the same, well of course not, but they do a great job! Fantastic atmosphere and service. Always enjoy my experience here.
Be the first to ReplyThe ambiance is great but it is hard to talk over the level
The ambiance is great but it is hard to talk over the level of noise/music (consider if going on a date). Highly recommend the Grenache flight & Whipped sheep's cheese. Be prepared to wait and park and walk.

If you have a big group that wants to celebrate, come to Barcelona. I always go with at least 8 people and order the tasting menu (or chefs choice or some variation of that idea). This is where they just bring a huge assortment of the tapas for the table. It always seems like it couldn't possibly be filling with such small plates, but I always leave stuffed! Depending on the group size, you can taste almost the whole menu for 30-40 bucks!
Be the first to ReplyWow, this place is great.
Went on a Thursday eve, absolutely packed. Sat at the only open seat at bar, hubby stood whole time. Bartenders were friendly, seemingly happy, and on top of things. Ordered a handful of dishes, all delivered quite quick esp considering the crowd. Our favorite was the meatballs. Hubby typically doesn't care for meatballs but he LOVED these. I'd skip the spinach chickpea dish next time. Mushrooms good. Bread and evoo that came with food were excellent. Sampled several wines, some better than others but all good cause you can order tastes of everything for a reasonable price. Wish this place was in every town we visit!
Be the first to ReplyGood comes out fast and bar staff is good.
All 3 of us enjoyed everything. Favorites:Garlic shrimp Mahi Pork belly Wait times can be long and it's pretty noisy. I would definitely go back.

Be the first to ReplyBarcelona Wine Bar is beautiful inside and is a good option
Barcelona Wine Bar is beautiful inside and is a good option for a casual dinner, but my friends and I agreed that we weren't wowed by anything here. We ordered the following for our group of 4 and it was the perfect amount of food:Pitcher of red sangria - very refreshing and standard, it's around 6 glass servings for a pitcher so a great deal at $31!Complimentary bread & olive oil - bread was soft but definitely nothing fancy or artisan. Patatas bravas - one of my "must orders" any time I get tapas. The potatoes were nice and crispy but there was not enough sauce.Meatballs - just ok, I found the texture was a bit dry and gritty so I had to smother it in the tomato sauceSalmon a la plancha - this really looked like one of those sad salmon servings you get at a golf clubhouse wedding dinner (I have a very specific memory of such meal). This one wasn't dry but it definitely looked a bit commercialized.Crispy pork belly - it wasn't really crispy, but it was definitely juicy! Could have used a bit more flavor with the chili topping on this one, it was mostly just a bit spicy but lacked a more appetizing savory taste.Broccolini - just ok, very plain but it was nice to have some vegetables with our dinnerBrussels sprouts - there were maybe just 6 pieces that were intact, most of the serving plate was just crispy leaves and it was hard to share. It was like eating a mouthful of kale chips. Taste was good though!Crispy calamari - this comes with fried shishitos and some red bell pepper as well. I know it's fried, but it was really greasy so it wasn't that appetizing.Paella mariscos - this was good! We got a half size which was a perfect portion size with everything else we got. Grilled chicken thigh - I liked the aji Amarillo sauce with this one, but it really is just as plain looking and tasting as a chicken thigh you'd cook at home. Overall, dinner was fine, but nothing special and not some place I'm looking forward to returning to anytime soon. Prices are very reasonable though so I'm not filled with buyer's remorse and huge disappointment. It really is pretty inside though but photos of the food on IG really look significantly better than it tastes.
