Severe disappointment at the Beef Bar - Experience not to be repeated
Usually happy with the Beef Bar, our last visit was a real fiasco. To our surprise, prices had tripled, accompanied by a desperately limited choice. It seems that the establishment is taking advantage of December 31 to inflate its prices indecently. The highlight of the disappointment was my Caesar Miso salad: a simple leaf of salad sadly presented, charged at an exorbitant price of almost 45 euros. This is unacceptable and frankly shameful. The disappointment is immense and my decision has been made: I will now turn to other establishments in Monaco, where there is no shortage of options. Goodbye Beef Bar, a page turns after such a bitter experience.

Excellent meat
Everything is good, the place is perhaps too dimly lit and the waiters run around a bit too much... Nothing to say about the meat, top, like years ago.
Good but not exceptional
Dinner with my son. The Kobe meat as an aperitif was excellent with this toasted brioche. However afterwards, I was disappointed by the meat which was a little tough and difficult to eat. I was expecting ultra tender meat that melts in your mouth. This was not the case. Puree served lukewarm (a shame because it was very good). 400€ for 2. The price of a starred restaurant but without the quality. The practical valet service (given the difficulties in parking). Don’t forget the €10 ticket for this service.
Without questioning the reception to avoid
Hello, I don't usually comment on my restaurant experiences. But I decided to do it to share my experience with you so that it can be useful to other customers but also to the team of this restaurant. Last Friday, I booked a solo table because I was in Monaco for the day. This Friday was special because we were on red alert for storm warnings. Faced with the deluge, I showed up at 11:40 a.m. asking if I could be sheltered in a small corner. Knowing that I would only be served at midday. The head waiter curtly replied that they only opened at noon and that by then I couldn't move into the establishment. I didn't insist and I came out in the downpour and the wind. But when it was time to leave, an assistant arrived giving the keys to Mr.…’s Bentley. And they arrived early. I then returned at 12:03 p.m. The same character pointed at my umbrella and said dryly: “Mr. umbrellas outside” pointing at an umbrella stand outside the establishment. I turned around in a daze, not knowing whether to slavishly put down my umbrella or turn on my heel and walk away. A start told me to go to the end and not stop at this individual beyond all hospitality and welcome. The client is king ? Do we say? Not here… However, once installed, the service was completely correct, attentive and polite. I had a lunch menu, very good value for money, tasty meat, homemade butter sauce, truffle… A treat, as the waiter came to reheat me twice with a blowtorch because the butter had a tendency to congeal. I left with some disappointment. The whole experience left me with a bitter taste. Who would dare not welcome a person within 20 minutes in the storm? Who, on the other hand, would welcome a gentleman in a Bentley…? Who points a finger at a customer, and makes him come out and put down his umbrella...?
Beautiful place.
The name belies the sophisticated art deco interior of this restaurant. I had the filet mignon and the super creamy potato mash with the special sauce. KFC (large crispy chicken tenders) and smoked beef bao buns were delicious. The sliders (3 different sauces) were interesting but not my favorite. Fries were decent but reminded me of In n Out's - fresh but not crunchy enough for me. The Bordeaux was nice with the meat entrees. The BeefBar signature candy bar dessert was beautiful (see photo). We sat in the gorgeous parlour room (see picture). Service was great.

The worst dining experience we had in our seven days in Paris! The food was generic and tasteless and the service was awful. The appetizers were lackluster, and the meal just got worse from there. Our main dishes were terrible. We kept asking for extra sauce to make our food taste better, and they had the audacity to charge us 8 euros for each tiny teaspoon of sauce they brought to the table even though we paid over $300 for our meal and drinks for two. With so many amazing places to eat in Paris, please don't waste your time at Beefbar!

Pleasant setting, quality service, but above all exquisite meat. Very rich in taste and tender, I really liked the spicy pepper dish and the truffle accompaniment. For meat lovers it’s a guaranteed treat!

It was good but compared to the beefbars we did (Saint Tropez, Meribel, Paris) we found the setting “average”, the service “average”, and overall value for money “average”.
Gorgeous restaurant.
Service was great. I just really wanted to love this place but the food was mid at best and extremely over-priced l. I think the kale salad was my favorite item. The pepper steak dish was good as well but I was kinda of expecting to be blown away. We had 5 other appetizers nothing really stood out.

It's a nightmare getting a reservation for a large group
It's a nightmare getting a reservation for a large group for June 10 and calling from the US. I did try emailing and messaging their social media pages too but, they are all automated. I first called at night, then was told to call during the day. When I called during the day, I was told to call during the night. I got the reservation only because I expressed my frustration. I was told I would be receiving an confirmation email which never arrived. When called the next day, they said don't worry your reservation is here. This week I just found out there is a set menu for the number of guests. When I was filling out the form, the date said June 23. I have spoken to them on the phone and e-mail numerous times that the reservation is June 10. At this point, I felt we are not welcomed to this establishment with all the mistakes they are making and cancelled the reservation with beefbar.

I have a notice stating that my bid has been accepted and is awaiting transfer. The reservation is for the 18th, but the “moderator” said he will confirm booking by the 28th. Is this an indicator that I may not have a reservation?

Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
