So gooooood!
Just as great as the Los Altos location, if not better. This location has a little more of the TO BE SEEN vibe and is definitely great for people watching (in the middle of University Avenue). Food and service just as good. A must and what they are known for is the Khachapuri Adjaruli; the description says it all. Also, a must is the Georgian Salad; I know, it’s just cucumbers and tomatoes but the dressing is spot on! No hard liquor but they do offer wine, beer and mimosas. Parking can be tricky; try the side streets. Will definitely be back…….

What a fabulous lunch I had at Bevri. The service was outstanding. Everything was very clean. The food was outstanding. It was my first time eating Georgian food and I was not disappointed. The egg and cheese bread hit the spot. I also had the pork dumplings. I totally recommend eating here if in the area.

Was looking for a new place to try for our GNO, and came across Bevri. There is a location in Palo Alto, but the location in Los Altos was much closer to us. I have to say, anything and everything about this restaurant was great. The food was amazing, the quality and quantity great, the service was pretty darn good. Upon arrival, they were packed inside and out, but we were seated immediately; I like when a place understand the concept of ‘reservations’. We sat inside where tables are nicely spaced out. They have a full bar, but we opted to cork our own wine; corkage is $35 a bottle. The food is soooo good, and since I didn’t order (friend ordered for the table to share family style), I have no idea what each item is called, but it looks as good as it tastes, just show the waiter my photos. EVERYTHING we had was DELISH. The dumplings are huge so don’t order too many at once; can add on if you need to. There is also a cheesy bread thing; you HAVE to get that. I haven’t had good food like this in a long time. And the service was sooo great. And honestly, it wasn’t a pricy meal at all. Two apps, three entrees, dessert and a bottle of wine between four girls cost us each $55 after tax and tip. Not bad if you ask me. We found parking pretty easily bc we got lucky someone was pulling out as we arrived to the strip. But I’d definitely allow some time to find parking as it looks like it can be pretty busy.

A very distinct and delicious combination of flavors beautifully presented. The Pkhali Sampler and the Khinkali Dumplings were exceptional. The staff was efficient and friendly. Ambience was pleasant and service relaxed.

The service was terrible and the food unimpressive. Their version of mint tea was tea with a bigelow mint bag. Don't feel the need to return.

We have never had chicken as tender as Bevri's. The appetizers with beets and spinach sounded prosaic, but were delightful as they were ground with walnuts. The raw egg on the kachapuri sounded a bit too adventurous for us but we'll try it next time.

Weather you're a fan of their wines, lamb, or bread, Georgian cuisine has a little something for everyone. The flavors are as varied as the menu item names (good luck pronouncing everything). The seating inside or on the street is inviting and comfortable. The menu, while relegated to your phone and a QR code at the moment is easy to order from and to see exactly what you're getting.
Service is typical for the area. Food comes fairly quick, and staff is happy to explain some of the traditions associated with eating some of the items.
The menu prices are a bit higher than I've experienced for Georgian food in other parts of the country, but there is no lack of quality, so there is that. A typical meal may run $50 per person depending on how much you eat and drink. You may get cheaper, but don't cheat yourself.
I'm Georgian! It's great.
The food was delicious and the waitstaff was friendly and attentive. I'm Georgian and this is the only place in the area that offers food from home. It helped greatly with homesickness. My non-Georgian partner loved it too!
Try the mushroom, dumplings and tarragon soda! Really really special.
the unique cuisine of a small country in the Caucasus
Bevri serves the tasty cuisine of Georgia, a small country by the Black Sea. I went yesterday with a group of eight and we had the $38 tasting menu (about $50 with tax and tip, plus beverages)--a bargain and a great introduction to this unique cuisine. Don’t miss the khinkali, little dumpling pouches from which you suck out the broth, and khachapuri, bread with a hole in the center in which you mix up hot cheese and an egg. Georgian wines are interesting, especially the amber-colored whites which ferment on their skins in large amphorae. Parking in downtown Palo Alto is a bit difficult. The skewered meat and chicken were a little chewy but generally everything was great. Well worth a visit.

Curious about the only Georgian Russian restaurant in the Bay Area located in Palo Alto, my husband and I decided to see what they offer. We found charming ambiance, lovely and reasonably priced food, gracious efficient service and an enjoyable evening. Watching the cooking in the open kitchen was an additional bonus.

Delicious food and unbelievable service! The restaurant was crowded but the food came amazingly quickly. The signature Khachapuri Megruli (round bread filled with melted cheese and an egg was delectable. My husband loved the Chanakhi ( lamb stew). Also good: Georgian Salad with Black Truffle Burratta. We ordered too much, took it home, and will enjoy it during the Super Bowl. Definitely worth trying.

Good experience with catering from Bevri for business early dinner event.
Quantity was larger than anticipated
Authentic Georgian
Nice place with great dishes. Typical Georgian meals, wines, and desserts. Funny enough most of the waiters are Russian, but the food itself is very authentic Georgian.

If you haven’t had Georgian food, this will be an interesting choice. A small restaurant, with very nice and helpful servers, Bevri offers a selection of Georgian dishes from the feta cheese covered bread khachapuri to kebabs and a great lamb stew. Georgian wines and the strong Borzhomi mineral water. Only open for dinner except on the weekend when they do brunch.

OMG. This is a wonderful restaurant. I know because I have been living in Georgia (Tbilisi) for part of the year every year since 2014. Everything was perfect: Badrijani (Eggplant w Walnuts and Pomegranate seeds), Khinkali (Dumplings), Hatchapuri Megruli (Cheese Bread, my favorite kind, kabobi, tkemali (sauce for kaboB, lamb chops and salad. The salad was improvised upon but everyone loved it. I thought the chops were a little overdone but everyone else loved them. The waiters were great and friendly, the food arrived quickly, can't wait to go back. and also--got to have some borjomi again, though I prefer naberlavi
