Birds of Paradise Gelato Boutique Singapore Reviews from The Last Year
Very nice
Lovely ice - cream and amazing aroma of waffles. Our order was cones; Wild Pea something Lychee / Raspberry something Both very nice. Cones have thyme in them which different. Yes they are expensive and card only. Would I return? Definitely but no daily
Absolutely avoidable !
No flavour , over hyped , absolutely nothing that stands out . For a 7$ icecream , there is nothing , absolutely nothing that I can call special . Just avoid !
Good Gelato, Not out of the world
The boutique is so aesthetically pleasing that it uplifts your entire experience here. The service is quick and the servers are polite. You only get to taste 2 flavours per person so it’s hard to choose. I went with the pistachio and the black sesame gelato- safe choices since I already love these flavours. Both were good but nothing I would go out of my way for again. From my friend’s picks I also tried the chocolate sorbet, the gianduja chocolate and the coconut, the last one being my least favourite. It’s definitely a one time visit but just that.
Cannot think outside of the box
Saturday 6.30. Many random flavours and asked to try one. Was told you can’t sample on a weekend. The sign read cannot sample on weekend for better waiting experience. The store was empty.
!!! DON’T BOTHER COMING !!!
WHAT A JOKE ! THE WORKERS ARE SO RUDE ! We came as a family in this little gelato shop and had been promised one of the best ice creams in Singapore. As we came in we didn’t feel welcome and as I asked to try the “osmanthus pear” flavor, one of the three ladies snapped and told me: “we don’t give samples today” and looked at me like I was trying to rob their place. We ended up paying more than 10 SGD per person for 2 ice cream balls. After tasting the 6 different flavors we had taken, none was really worth the price. The flavors don’t even last long and are very subtle - almost too much if you don’t pair your flavors the right way. To summarize it all, DON’T BOTHER COMING - you’ll be disappointed. fyi - I put one star because TripAdvisor didn’t let me put zero stars.
Really beautiful ice cream parlor with unique and exotic
Really beautiful ice cream parlor with unique and exotic flavors. The ice cream itself however didn't quite live up to expectations as the flavor was quite muted and the texture a bit icy. It's quite pricey as well so while lots of people recommended Birds of Paradise, I don't think it lives up to the hype.
Gelato--Chocolate very Dark, Fruit very Fruity, Hazelnut/Pistachio very Nutty
One of the best gelatos in SG. I tried the dark chocolate, pistachio, hazelnut, and black sesame flavors and were impressed by all. Perhaps the chocolate one was not as outstanding as Godiva's or Venchi's, but still I was indulged. They provided me with really large round scoops, great!
Local ice cream
Nice ice cream and gelatos with interesting flavors like sea salt hojicha, which i tried. The shops are modern and stylish. Limited seats though
Singapore’s popular plant system Gelato - Birds of Paradise
Singapore’s popular plant-based Gelato brand White chrysanthemum tea flavor with crushed black chocolate is a bit too sweet for me The queue at the airport lasted for 10 minutes. It is recommended to go to other branches. Personally, I think the branch at 263 Beach Rd is the most beautifully decorated*.゜。: * Very special and worth a try

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.

My reservation expired but I did not get a credit and I see no way to cancel. How do I the funds back as a credit?

I have a similar question, it seems like when money is refunded it doesnt go immediately what is the process of this since its essentially a debit card and not a credit card
