I took two tasting menus and two freebies for Aimo and Nadia, costing โฌ120 and โฌ110 respectively. Ridiculous portions and descriptions that did not correspond to the dish (they seemed more like spoon tastings that they brought). Nothing special as a dish. Shocking service. It was proposed as informal and almost bar-like, a shame about the tone and expected cost. Finally, they bring us the unsolicited bill and the waitress at midnight says we've been open since 10 and we're exhausted... in the meantime we stop for 5 minutes a waiter passes downstairs with mochi vileda and then with a vacuum cleaner. Spending over โฌ500 for 4 people to eat like this and be treated like this is theft for me. Never again

The roasted cauliflower was boiled and microscopic. The fish (amberjack) was overcooked, looked old, had a smell, looked like sautรฉed, sour mackerel. We sent it back and they made us pay for it anyway, without shame. Terrible! Microscopic portions and high pricesโฆ Excellent bread and oil on the other hand Tomato soup was microscopic but still good, not in broth but dense, in size it looked like a small tartare, while the real tartare was always very small but good. The tripe with chickpeas, also small but good. We didn't have sweets A complimentary teaspoon of orange sorbet which was practically ice And some nice walnut morsels. Good wine.

Years after Passalacqua with its sublime Pane e Acqua and with a new color scheme in shades of green, we are finally back to having lunch with great taste in this star-scented restaurant/bistro. The service is practically perfect, the cuisine with some peaks of great style. The cellar is quite varied with some notable labels and the young sommelier is very knowledgeable. The cooked lentils, prawns from the Mediterranean Sea and crunchy chestnuts are excellent, as is the Etruscan soup with spelled, garden vegetables and legumes with wild fennel, a tribute to Nadia. The fresh pasta buttons stuffed with Venetian liver, caramelized onion and apple cider vinegar reduction are literally science fiction and deserve a special mention. The tripe doesn't pass the test despite the beautiful presentation in the crust which makes this dish more beautiful to look at than anything else. In essence, however, we eat very well.

Never eaten tripe like this! Tasteless slop! Don't try it! Maybe cooked quickly that evening! But perhaps they have never tasted tripe cooked in Rome!
Be the first to ReplyCozy atmosphere, excellent service and very good food
Is the food served in this place good? yes a lot. Is the service up to par? yes, balanced between kindness, competence and discretion. The bill? it is not given away. But the ambience, the wines, the quality of the food and the type of service justify it. I've already been back and I'll be back. Thank you!

Be the first to ReplyAmazing modern Italian food
Modern Italian food of the highest level. Great ingredients, recipes and plating. The deserts are amazing. Great place for lunch as well as dinner
Be the first to ReplyWonderful food, little service tweaks would take it over the top
Food was excellent, staff was a little rushed. Tartare was spectacular, cocktails sublime. Service was prompt but the folks should take half a step off their running around to make the small space seem less congested

I went to Bistro Aimo e Nadia based on a recommendation from a friend . The food quality, service , decoration was extremely good. I highly recommend anyone who visits Milan to go to Aimo e Nadia First of all, interior of the restaurant is amazing, designed by brand Etro. I had started with nice aperativo with gin based refreshing coctail accompanied by delicious appetizers. Then moved to a dish based on young beef tartare , rhubarb and parsley. This is accompanied by a very delicious glass of red wine. Then as a main dish, I had roasted pigeon with celeriac , mustard, goatโs cheese and pears. Again main dish is accompanied by another wonderful glass of red wine . Before dessert chef also made one more finger food dish consisted of pigeon leg. As a dessert, I had amoretto crumble tea ice cream with fermented celeriac . Afterwards, i was also offered to have mini dessert next to my espresso Overall, it was an amazing birthday lunch experience:)
