We visited Blue Ribbon for the first time and it was truly a delight. Food was amazing, great service and a beautiful ambiance. George, the manager was awesome as well as our waitress. We sat at the bar and enjoyed our orders made right in front of us. It was an unforgettable experience. Blue Ribbon is now our place to go for sushi. Thank you

The food and service were both AMAZING! Not to mention very upbeat but relaxing ambiance.

Service was outstanding towards the end. After our orders were placed, we were not sure where our server went, good thing other staff were able to assist. The receptionists were friendly and accommodating. The ambiance was okay.

Our family loves this restaurant! The taste, freshness & the presentation of the food is outstanding! Service is always top-notch. We enjoy sitting in their large booths. The backs are high which helps to drown out extra noise and makes it easier to have a conversation.

Crispy rice? Delicious and at almost $40 a pop (with tax) it should be! BR -they are famous for their fried chicken. I like the fried chicken over at Joes Stone Crab at ceasars better. Atmosphere is fake upscale Honky Tonk I guess. Ok. The steak tartare was fine. I don't eat raw meat unless the restaurant look clean and this place looks clean. The star of the night was the cheese fondue. Very fond of the fondue. Staff is excellent!

Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill has a location in the Red Rock Casino/Hotel in the Summerlin part of Las Vegas. This is a more expensive fancier type of Japanese style restaurant. Inside is a sushi bar, traditional tables, booths, and partial booths. They also have an indoor-outdoor bar, and outside dining. We shared two lunch specials. A typical lunch special cost around $28. and comes with miso soup and wakame. We shared a Chirashi (sashimi rice bowl $34.) It was a good size for sharing and came with a wide variety of fish. It was decorated nicely with some add on things like Japanese pickles and fish roe. It was mostly good but was more like neighborhood sushi than expensive once in a while sushi. I was expecting the melt in your mouth type of sushi. It was more like neighborhood sushi with average wasabi, chewy octopus, average shrimp, and some sort of white fish with a hard exterior. The other plate that we shared was the ground in house Prime Wagyu Smash Burger with fries ($26.). It wasn't bad but it wasn't amazing either. It might have been slightly overcooked because it was on the dry side and lacked a good beefy flavor. We both thought that the fries were very good. The service was exceptional and wonderful.

Was expecting more I guess and wasn't impressed.

The sushi was excellent (hotate & churtoro sashimi and the spicy lobster roll). The 8oz Prime Smash Burger was okay. The smashed patties can only be prepared well done but gave it a try anyway. The Oxtail and Bone Marrow Fried Rice Tobanyaki had a good amount of mushrooms and daikon. The meat was crispy and the dish overall didn't have much flavor. Good and friendly service. There was always someone around making sure we were doing okay. We didn't have to wait much for anything; smooth quick checkout. There were many little booths to eat in which was nice. There's bar seating as well. Overall good ambiance, food, and service. Would come again for the sushi.

.. Good not great. Went here for Valentine's Day at 8:30, they closed the kitchen by 9:30 - felt a little rushed during the meal, but service was overall excellent. The ambiance of the restaurant was traditionally Japanese with dim lighting. I wish we were seated at one of the hutch booths or at the sushi bar instead. Food was again, good not great. Edamame was fine, salad was a little bland, and the Spicy California with Blue Crab and sushi pieces were OK. I liked the Jadori Chicken for the flavor (def squeeze the lemon all over it) but it was a little chewy. The teriyaki sauce and steamed rice was fantastic. I also ordered one of their signature cocktails and it was FIRE. So light and refreshing. With all the sushi places in Vegas, I'm not sure I'll be back to this one - but worth a try if you're staying in Summerlin or Red Rock! Just lacked flavor for me!

Holy moly this place exceeded my expectations in all the best ways! Mario took care of us tonight and he was so knowledgeable about the menu and recommended some of the best things we ate. The vibe is quiet and transports you straight to Japan with the decor. The food is the shining star. All the fish was fresh and each bite left a favor explosion in your mouth. We didn't know what appetizer to try so we got the pupu plater and that was also a 10/10. I ordered a milk tea to wash it all down. Can't wait to come back again for date night!

Located in Summerlin at Red Rock Casino & Resort, Blue Ribbon is a great alternative to the great AYCE joints around Vegas. The poke is a must, and the BR sushi boat is a good value at $200. You can't go wrong with anything here since the ingredients are all fresh... esp considering the $$$ price point you're paying for the experience.

Mario and his team made sure that the service was outstanding and birthday worthy for our party of seven. Extensive menu for the sushi/sashimi lover but other good options for those who aren't. Everyone really enjoyed their menu choice including the seaweed salad and edamame appetizers, sushi, wagyu burger, halibut, and surf and turf. Blood orange sorbet, green tea banana split, and gingerbread pudding wrapped the meal. Traditional Japanese decor vibe rounded out the experience. Would definitely return.

My date and I had an positive dining experience at Blue Ribbon, a Japanese restaurant that definitely knows how to please it's customers. We started with the chicken lettuce wraps, and they were so good that we almost ordered seconds! For our main course, we tried the Wagyu Skirt Steak with Chimichurri and Potato Herb Salad, and it was cooked to our requested done-ness. And the sushi was a highlight too; the ebi tempura and futomaki were super fresh and flavorful. We couldn't resist ending the meal with the matcha tiramisu and matcha ice cream, which were the perfect sweet treat. The atmosphere at Blue Ribbon was really cozy and welcoming, and the wait staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The price was reasonable and we felt like we were getting a great value for the meal. While some dishes may not have been mind-blowing, we still had a great time and would definitely recommend this spot for a fun night out, whether you're a local or staying at Red Rock Casino. We give Blue Ribbon a solid 4 out of 5 stars for its great food, lively atmosphere, great service, and reasonably priced. It's definitely worth a visit!

I came here to eat with my sister for dinner last week and was set on ordering the Omakase that I saw someone posted on Instagram. It is in red rocks, so be prepared to park in a big parking lot and do a little bit of walking to get inside of the casino. Upon entering the restaurant, the vibe of the place was very chill. There was two hostesses working the front and since we told them it is our first time we didn't know where we would like to sit. She said that we can be sat and if we don't like it, we can move to a different spot. We were thinking about either the bar sushi chef area But apparently there is also a bartender bar area as well. We opted for the sushi chef area. Looking around there seems to be tables around that seems like it can be a good date spot. This place has dim lighting and a very relaxed vibe. Although the chef don't really talk to you over there the person who does is your waitress. What's cool about sitting there if you can see the chef, making all the rolls for all the tables. The waitress we had was awesome and answered all of our questions we had since it was our first time there. If she didn't know some things, she would come back and find out with an answer. She was very friendly and courteous, as well as attentive to us. We started with large hot sake for $19. We ordered the hot rock beef for an appetizer, as well as hamachi jalapeño, crispy rice with spicy tuna and spicy scallops. All were so amazing!!!! The omakase (chefs choice) we ordered for 1 and shared it. They brought out a spicy tuna tartar with seaweed wrap. Oh there was also a raw quail egg yolk on top as well. Tasted alright. The wagyu dumplings were tasty but nothing I would order separately. Wasn't juicy enough for me. The main dish came out and was plentiful! Spicy diced tuna, king crab meat, abalone slices, oyster, cucumber boat filled with uni & fish eggs, herring roe, bunch of sashimi & nigiri pieces, a couple of hand rolls... so blown away!! All were yummy! The final dessert was a martini glass with white chocolate pudding with Oreo cookie crumbles. Wasn't bad but nothing spectacular. Anyways the omakase was worth it to us.. $100 for it but so much comes with it!! Highly recommend for sure! If you go with someone just order 1. Plus other apps and such and you'll be golden. Our bill was a little over $200 for two people but was worth it. The quality of the foods were so fresh and delish for the most part. I would recommend for anyone to come here and experience for yourself how delightful this place was. Me and my sis had a fabulous time here.
Be the first to ReplyThis place is absolutely amazing.
The food is delicious and staff is friendly. The quality and freshness of the fish is top notch. I ordered sushi and sashimi combination plate with some Chu Toro or medium fatty tuna. The sushi combo plate comes with 15 pieces of assorted fish and 1 roll you can choose from. With every bite you can taste freshness of the fish and it melts in your mouth. With this place being inside the Red Rock Hotel and Casino the prices are reasonable. If you are not into sushi let me just say they have a burger you can order. I absolutely love this Sushi place and will be coming back for some more.
Be the first to ReplyYou can taste quality in every dish.
Sushi is great, and wagyu skirt steak was amazing. Omakase is a must here especially if it's your first time. Best shared for two with some appetizers though as portion is generous.

One of my favorite sushi restaurants! The quality and the options are my favorite! The tuna, salmon, spicy tuna, masago, etc. so delicious! So fresh! This place has the best tamago for all my tamago lovers! Sweet, fresh, juicy and just the right amount of rice. Everything here is delicious! The staff is friendly! Almost always come here when craving superior sushi!
Be the first to ReplyBlue Ribbon is one of my favorite sushi spots off the strip.
The fish is all very fresh and the service is great. They also offer many non-seafood options as well. Their outdoor patio is so nice for dining when the weather is good and their service is always great. Some of my favorite items on the menu include:Maguro zuke sashimiHamachi jalapeño Crispy rice

We were a party of 3 and had more than plenty food. The fish was fresh and the drinks strong. However for the omakase we were bummed there wasn't any toro :(

This sushi restaurant was a great sushi restaurant for very good sushi. The only downfall would be there on the pricey side. Otherwise this is a great sushi spot. The atmosphere was comfortable, the service was very good, and the overall experience was what you would get when you go to a sushi place.

A quaint little place that offers indoor and outdoor seating.Started with the miso soup, California roll w/ real crab (upcharge), and some select sushi which appeared on the smallish side. Also tried the calamari which was served with peppers and a creamy dipping sauce. All were fresh tasting. The Surf & Turf included a smallish 1/2 lobster with miso butter. It's hard to tell from my pic, but the lobster meat is removed, prepared, and re-stuffed. You get chunks almost the entire length of the 1/2 shell. The creamy butter sauce is very tasty. The Turf side consists of a 6oz. NY Strip. It's normally not my preferred cut, but this was well-prepared, tender and moist. The Terriyaki glaze was a good touch. The Asparagus tips were large and tender.Finished with the Ginger Bread Pudding which was a nice spin and good.Overall, it was a good experience. Great taste and presentation, but sadly felt a victim of Shrinkflation as I preferred larger portions. Still, I would have no problems returning.
Be the first to ReplyTried this place for the first time on a Friday night.
We had a reservation so we were quickly seated. The place was not as big as I thought but it had a nice atmosphere for a dinner date or a group dinner. The place was clean and had a nice lighting. The server was attentive and food came out on time. We only ordered a few items since we opted for a light dinner. Everything we got was absolutely satisfying. I would probably come again to try the other things on the menu.

Got to try it this time while staying at Red Rock and it's as good as my wife and friends had said it was. Happy Hour sake special was a big hit, the sushi is excellent. What stood out to me was the Blue Ribbon Chicken, loved it. Brian, our server, was attentive and took excellent care of us.
