My partner said the drink was really good so we'll have to come back to experience their food menu. Love the aesthetic and ambiance. Staff were friendly and very welcoming.

Stopped in here for a quick drink and a snack and it was very cute. Loved the bar and the happy hour menu was pretty good. The drinks and charcuterie were average but overall it was a good time!

Cute restaurant my friend and I stopped by for a quick bite and drink before a concert. We served a glass of bubbly while we waited for our table and I thought that was pretty cool! The menu offers a lot of difference choices, from Bao buns to burgers and salads and much more. I ordered the mushroom baos and loved them. The mushrooms were tasty and you could def taste the gochujang and toasted sesame seeds. My drink of choice was the Nouveau Carrรฉ which is an interesting twist on the Vieux Carrรฉ. The service was great. Our waitress was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed We were pressed for time so we didn't really get the chance to explore the menu but when I am back in a Tampa bay I will definitely stop by again.

I had no idea Bouzy had a bangin brunch - but color me impressed! My boyfriend and I were in the Hyde Park area for the market and decided to stop in for some food and drinks - there was no wait and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We ordered a round of mimosas - I like that Bouzy has different juice flavors for their mimosas. My boyfriend ordered the breakfast sandwich - he really enjoyed it. I ordered the lobster benedict - this was the real star. They don't skimp on the lobster, which I was very pleased about - the poached egg was PERFECTLY poached - not too runny, not too cooked through. The hollandaise sauce was delicious, great flavor and it paired perfectly with the lobster. The vibe at Bouzy is super cute and perfect for a little brunch date. It isn't a huge restaurant, but there's plenty of outside seating as well. The aesthetic is very chic, this is a spot that you can show up and grab brunch in casual clothing or dress up for more of a date night. We'll be back for sure - specifically for the benedict :)
Be the first to ReplyFun little spot in Hyde Park.
I enjoyed my late lunch here, but will give it four stars simply due to price (but it is Hyde park and on par for the area, so ideally 4.5 stars) Their drink menu offers plenty of options, although like I mentioned above, it is a tad on the pricier side. I went with the espresso martini and I was quite happy with it. The bartender, Jess, was super friendly and offered insight when I couldn't decide between cocktails The lobster roll was delicious and it is served with chips and a small salad. If I end up in the area, I'd stop here again for apps and drinks

Ambiance was terrible as they allowed a party of 15+ onto a table of 8 with people just standing around crowding other tables. Food was ok at best, drinks were the only positive. Even with a complimentary drink and taking one of the meals off the check, as it was not placed when ordered, it can't earn more than 1 star. Experience was so poor I wrote my first ever review.

The hostess Aja was so nice and bubbly ! She sat me and my baby by the window like I wanted. Vibes are great bites are yummy and the cocktails are amazing !! Great place to come for mid day eats with the girls

Came for drinks but the food was so good we ordered literally one of everything. The baked oysters were SO good and the caviar dip was fun. Loved the Burrata too. The service was great, didn't catch his name but it seemed like a manager and he was really nice. The vibe was almost like a speakeasy going through the back room.
Be the first to ReplyIt was fine.
They weren't busy when we were there during the day. I used the inKind app & got $25 off $75 or more which helped with my pricey $75 glass of champagne. Glad we stopped to try it.
Be the first to ReplyFirst time having a meal here, it was very good and tasty.
It did take some time to receive our entrees but it was quite worth the wait.
Be the first to ReplyExpected a little more, so was disappointed.
The tuna app I had wasn't good. There was a very strong mustard taste. My friend said her dessert was not good either and she is never picky.

Chef Eric was amazing as we sat at the bar and were able to watch him prepare every dish! I had the caviar sandwich and my friend had the lobster bao buns both were amazing! Cameron was out bartender and the drinks were so hood as well it doesn't matter what you order! The whole staff was accommodating and very personable! I will definitely be back and dont know why its not rated higher!

Great ambiance, friendly staff but after such hype on social media we were excited to try out this cocktail lounge that has the potential to elevate Tampa, but didn't live up to expectations.2 hours we were there and only got 2 drinks as the team didn't come around to check in. Online it is impossible to get a reservation, but when you're there it's dead inside, perhaps open more spots online so people actually book and not get turned away by "fake busy". Music was very quiet, lights were very bright, has a lot of potential but need to iron out the kinks quickly or you won't get returning customers

We initially had 4pm reservations as that was all that was available. Due to traffic we had to cancel bout voila they had availability at 5:30. Not sure how that happened but yay!We were seated in the champagne room. Both dining rooms are decorated nicely. We started off with a 'reasonably priced' ($90) bottle of champagne. It was pretty good- I am not a champagne connoisseur. We shared caviar sandwich- not impressed, not very flavorful. Bread seemed cold soggy like it was toasted hours ago and premade as it was served quite quickly. We decided we'd share the branzino which according to the menu takes 20 minutes so we ordered the tuna muillefuille (sp?) to enjoy before our main. The tuna dish was very tasty. The branzino was very good as well and perfect for sharing. I tried a margarita which was good and my friend had two bouzy Susie's (she said they were very good. We shared the chocolate dessert and it was good as well. I don't remember the name. So why not give stars?First -we were sat next this door labeled electrical room staff only. Not sure what goes on in that room but staff walks in and out of it continuously. Weird and annoying. Second - I expect the waiter to clean the table when food falls on the table and to remove the old plates and bring out clean ones with clean utensils, if not for each course, then do so for the entree. After all is just under $200 per person not including tip- that is the type of service you should get. Our chairs should be pulled out for us by the hostess- not done and napkins placed in our laps. There are other reviews I've read about the fish smell. I didn't notice anything overly offensive or concerning.I don't recommend this place better service and food options out there.
Be the first to ReplyI kindly encourage you update your hours accurately online.
I tried to stop by for a drink on my walk home from dinner, and your website stated you close at 1am, however, your doors were locked at 12:10. It's really poor taste to not honor the hours you're advertising. Had I had any reason to assume you'd close almost an hour early on a Friday night, and a holiday, I would've happily stayed where I was, and had another cocktail. Not impressed.

Celebrated a 50th birthday party there! The food was absolutely, unforgettable. The ambiance was top notch. Thank you Bouzy for making the evening so special. Drinks were also great. Thank you so so much!

This is a gorgeous place, and great for a night out with friends. Overall a mixed review on the food, but perfect if you're going for the champagne or wine selection.-Cheese plate with candied pecans, fruit compote, and a nice selection of cheeses-Tuna Millefeuille, which I think we all agreed was the best dish of the night. Nice combination of flavors and textures, with creamy avocado puree, spicy wasabi miso, crunchy baguette crackers, and fatty tuna-Snapper crudo, light and refreshing -Foie gras torchon - Tasty, but really needed some brioche slices or lavish or something to serve it on. Also, I might have somehow missed it, but I think they forgot to add the vin santo gelee listed on the menu? The sweet brioche granola was nice though-Beet salad - Loved the touch of citrus and blueberry puree, but goat cheese instead of parmesan would have been a nice touch-Gulf Grouper - disappointing, the champagne foam had little flavor and I couldn't detect any of the miso glaze-Cauliflower - perfect amount of heat, with harissa aoili and a nice crunch -Brioche sandwiches with caviar, creme fraiche, and egg yolk - A simple but decadent classic!

Upon walking in, the place did smell fishy but after reviewing the menu I was more open minded. Free parking in the garage to the right of the entrance (looking from the street). Service was ok- the server was really nice but I didn't know his name until the receipt was presented. Drinks are average priced/ average flavor. Food was subpar, the charcuterie wasn't anything special.. brown mustard, prosciutto/ aged prosciutto, salami, bread and a spicy kimchi. It was yummy but I was hoping for a better variety. The lobster bao buns were a disgrace... they're served in a steam basket yet presented like 2 baby hard/ cold bao bun breads with lettuce and a piece of lobster meat on it. The size is roughly 2 inch diameter... hoping this item gets changed or erased off the menu completely.

The newest spot in Hyde Park Village that will definitely get the people talking. First let's get into the aesthetic.Top tier. Now, it is an intimate space, but still absolutely gorgeous inside. The small plates and appetizers are delish and Adam, the manger was awesome throughout the night, the way he interacted and gave personal attention to each table. We can't wait to go back when they start serving brunch!

Love this new spot! It's so hard to get reservations but they do take open seating at the bar (first come first serve). They open at 4pm. I really enjoyed sitting at the bar but I definitely would love to try to dine there and experience it. It's a champagne bar so I suggest trying at least one champagne. I forgot what I tried but it was sex rose I believe? They also have fun cocktail drinks too. The menu is the same as if you were to dine there for the food. What I ordered:- Caviar Sandwich: hackleback caviar, yolk, crรจme fraรฎche (must!!) - Charcuterie: a selection of cured meats with house-made pickles- Selection of Cheese: three cheeses, marcona almonds, seasonal preserve- Half-Dozen Oysters: mixed East & West, mignonette, kimchi cocktail- Shrimp Cocktail: court bouillon, kimchi cocktail
Be the first to ReplyWhile I do not mind paying top dollar for amazing food.
. this was a bit over the top. For $45 we were served a tiny cheese and charcuterie board that would be more appropriate for one person. However, the selection was nice. Additionally, we ordered the underwhelming mushroom entree which includes about 4 mushrooms, mixed greens with no particular dressing, on a bed of tasteless vegetable mash. The sparkling cava was nice as was a gin cocktail. We had reservations in the champagne cellar but the restaurant was permeated by a VERY strong fish smell that even wafted out to the outdoor seating. Not like a pleasant seafood restaurant smell... an alarming seafood smell. We were still hungry and ended up having food elsewhere. Would recommend for a nice glass of Champagne pre or post dinner. The server was also very nice and very attentive.

I'll have to go back for food but I wanted to say that our server was perfect. She was so kind and attentive! Thanks Sam! She was knowledgeable on the champagne options, too

Let me preface this review by saying that the food is AMAZING. They definitely have some kinks to work out, which is to be expected so fresh after opening, but it's sure to become a Tampa staple. We were really excited to try Bouzy for dinner after stopping by for drinks and appetizers one afternoon. We made a reservation while we were there for Friday night, however, when we arrived, we were told that they somehow lost our reservation and that they wouldn't be able to accommodate us. After some slightly uncomfortable back & forth, they finally told us that they could seat us at the bar. It took awhile for seats to open up, & it wasn't the most ideal situation, but we were hungry & happy to be seated. Drinks wise, they have a great selection of champagnes and cocktails. We really enjoyed the passionne - which is their take on a spicy margarita as well as the briny & boozy, which is served with an oyster. I really like how the menu is so seafood forward & how fresh the ingredients are. The appetizers here are delicious - I highly recommend the tuna millefeuille - it's basically tuna tartar but oh so pretty and tasty. The lobster buns can be shared as an appetizer too - the lobster was delicious, but the buns were a bit chilly & stiff. The grouper was a real treat and so flavorful. The cioppino is a really special dish & I love how they included stone crab (the only minor thing here is that there were tiny pieces of shells in the sauce - not sure if this can be avoided, but it's worth being a little careful when eating). The only thing that we didn't really enjoy was their baba au rum dessert - while the cream was amazing, the dough was too drenched in rum which made feel like you were taking bite sized shots instead of enjoying dessert. Ultimately, we definitely recommend Bouzy - the food, atmosphere, & drinks are great. Just be sure to double check your reservation!

Lovely spot with a nice bubbly and wine list and some delicious food items! Enjoyed the tuna millefeuille, lobster bao buns and the Bordelaise mushrooms which were all flavorful and unique Enjoyed a bubbly cocktail as well as a glass of brut rosรฉ with our food. The wait staff were all very nice and attentive. Sometimes in new spots like this it seems to be more common for the staff to be a little pretentious and/or aloof so it was great to see nice service from everyone. A bit bummed we didn't get seated in the Champagne cellar room in spite of making a reservation for it. We were told they likely overbooked it which was disappointing since my friend and I were excited to see that space but sitting in the bar area was fine. How they fix the overnight soon because I can imagine that will upset some people making reservations. Will definitely go back to try some more food and beverages
