Mushroom bisque had a smooth nappe consistency. It was very earthy from the strong mushroom flavors, and this was amplified by the hazelnuts. The crunch from the hazelnuts added great texture to the smooth soup and the chive oil added hints of fresh aromatics. The fettuccine had the springy yet bitey texture that fresh pasta is known for. Sauce was vibrant with the perfect level of sour from the tomatoes being mellowed out by the rich duck. From the third course, the polenta was fantastic. It had a rich, creamy base that paired well with the umami red wine reduction and the refreshing gremolata. Broccolini was seasoned well and fork tender. Unfortunately the main item, the short rib, fell short. It lacked a sear which would've helped its texture and the meat itself was tough and flavorless. More sauce might've helped but the short rib itself was not good. I am generally not a fan of butterscotch due to it being an overpowering flavor, but the panna cotta here changed my mind. Panna cotta in generally mild and the pockets of strong butterscotch really brought it to life. Cookie was sweet with a hint of savory from the rosemary.Service - 5/5. Excellent service from the bar. They were incredibly busy but still provided a full fine dining experience with meals coming out in courses at the proper time. Bartender was very sociable and easily available.Value - 5/5. Excellent food and excellent service. Their restaurant week menu let you sample a good variety and really showcased their culinary finesse. It was also four courses rather than the usual three for only $48. The wine pairing was an extra $20, and they were generous with their pours. Fantastic dining experience.Parking - Private Lot (Free)
