Beautiful interior.
Different rooms so quiet and cozy. Our waitress Kiki was great! Had the prix fix menu for restaurant week. Thought the carrots were undercooked. Hamburger was good. Cheesecake was a great ending!

I"ve been there multiple times for dinner small plates and drinks. Everything is very good and fresh. My clients especially liked the arancini the pickled vegetables and the samosas. The staff is very nice and I like the patio and outdoor area. For me it's a neighborhood place so I stop frequently . My kids like going here for their birthday. Small Kids are welcome here .
Be the first to ReplyWent for lunch with friends midweek.
Everyone loved everything from the tender grilled chicken over farm salad to a perfect rendition of any cheese lover's veggie burger to the sausage of the day. Generous pours and portions, good service. Bonus was the natural daylight filtering through the arches and playing on the interior touches.
Be the first to ReplyMy partner and I went there for dinner last night.
The staff was friendly and the service was excellent. We ordered the tasting menu and it was delicious!
Be the first to ReplyFarm fresh food.
Recommend coming here for brunch as dinner prices are quite high. The menu for lunch is fairly similar but at a more reasonable price.

The ambiance is nice and comfortable, good service, however the food did not live up to the hype or the price. It was just OK. I personally won't go back.
Be the first to ReplyWe were there Tuesday night for their community dinner.
The offers were half a chicken for one for $30 or a whole chicken for two for $48. Both came with Mac and cheese, pickled vegetables, biscuits, and spiced honey. You algo get $6 house wine and beer The chicken was tender and juicy. The spiced honey was great for the chicken and biscuit. The Mac and cheese was cheesy delicious!!!! We ordered an extra apple salad to split to make it more a balanced meal.

Helpful staff with great recommendations.

Been coming here about twice a year for the past several years. We live an hour away so needless to say we loved it. Never had anything other than a great experience until this past Friday night. Three of our party ordered a $75 steak, and all three steaks were barely warm, and indeed were cold after a few bites. Apps were hit or miss. We were all very surprised until we read some other recent reviews noting a lately change of management. That explains it I guess. We will not be returning.
Be the first to ReplyReally wanted to eat here but we didn't get seated.
We tried calling at 4pm but they weren't open. We saw on their reservation site that there were open tables all night so we made the drive- assuming that we could get a table. I called from the parking lot at 4:50 and reached the hostess who told me our party of 4 (2 adults + 2 children) could wait in the bar. When we arrived at 5pm, she told us to wait in the bar. 45 min pass and I check in and I was told they're all booked. I want to try the place again because I heard the food was good, but the confusion around getting a table and the limited space at the bar was less than ideal. The beer we had at the bar was good though.
Be the first to ReplyHad this on my list of local places to try.
I love the idea of local farm to plate organic freshness. Entering the restaurant provided an immediate country, homey feeling and our table near the twin fireplaces, while not on, provided a warm feeling on this chilly evening. My wife had a fish plate and I went with the pork chop. Very well prepared and meticulously arranged on the plate and delivered by our excellent waiter "friend" Joe. My wife and I exchanged bites of each other's meals and found them both to be delightfully seasoned the sides enhanced the flavors as opposed to having their own distracting flavor. We shared an absolutely scrumptious chocolate mousse and tasty fresh raspberry sorbet for dessert and left the restaurant completely full to the gills. We are looking forward not only to our next delicious adventure to the Brick Farm Tavern but also to deciding which of our friends/family are deserving to be introduced to this gem first.

One of the worst experiences I've ever had with an eating establishment. Area friends had been telling us that the place wasn't nearly what it once was since changing management. Nonetheless, went there and the meal and venue, if not the service, was good enough to consider the place for hosting an event. After an initial contact, repeated efforts to get any sort of the response from the management failed. When, weeks later, there was a response forthcoming, the management and staff could not have been more rude, hostile, or insulting. The bottom line: a meal that was maybe a 3; unbelievebly unprofessional treatment that would merit a -10.
Be the first to ReplyWe showed up about 20 minutes early for our reservation.
Table wasn't ready so we were pointed to the bar to get a drink while we waited. Took about 20 minutes for a bartender to acknowledge our existence but that's ok because our table was not ready by our reservation time. We started noticing that few people had food on their tables and started getting wary of the whole experience. We finally were offered a table 20 minutes after our reservation. We reserved a table in the bar area because we like the atmosphere there better than the dining room(s) but no tables ended up being open even this far after our reservation so they put us in the dining room. I wasn't surprised when this happened. What really bothered us is that we sat at our table for 20 minutes without a server coming to greet us, offer us water, etc. (we did have plenty of employees walking past us repeatedly). We're not sure how long we would have waited because we decided to leave - it was 45 minutes after our reservation time at this point and we just wanted to eat.In the meantime, we noticed that the menu got extremely expensive after whatever renovations they made recently. We've been coming to BFT for a few years and have always at least had the ability to get the burger for under $20 which made it an option to just stop by for a beer after work and a reasonable dinner. That doesn't seem to be the case anymore and it's disappointing to see them discourage regulars in the area from coming.I can't comment on the food quality now because we weren't given the chance to order anything.

Upon coming back to my home town this year I knew I finally HAD to try this farm to table operation. It felt like a dear friend had invited me into their home for a fancy dinner. What an ambiance. Our server was friendly and attentive and he knew the menu well. We were seated in what felt like a private dining area. There was only one other party present, yet the restaurant was packed. The bite of steak off my fathers plate was close to the best I've had in my entire life! No exaggeration. I also thoroughly enjoyed my squash ravioli and my mothers veal bolognese. Meals weren't nearly as expensive as I thought they'd be for the portions we were given. All around 10/10 ; cannot wait to come back on a date sometime.

You can't go wrong with a farm to table restaurant that's serving up fresh menu items weekly (along with some fresh pours and cocktails). This is the date night spot of hopewell and honestly within a 30 minute radius. It's also the perfect spot to stop for happy hour, snag some empanadas or chicken oysters, a pint and relax. The vibe is great, the bartenders are fantastic especially with the crowd. Do yourself a favor, get a reservation or just stop by and go.Oh, I've hosted events in the wine cellar...if you're looking for a small gathering away from the crowds, highly suggest renting this space.

Kudos to the wonderful staff and chef - we were there for New Years Eve. Service was nothing short of superb. The 4 course meal was mostly exceptional. The restaurant pulled this all through during a difficult interruption - fire alarms went off and the entire restaurant had to be evacuated just as the meal service was starting/ other patrons in the middle of meals. It was pouring rain and obviously being outside for 20 odd minutes till the fire dept came was not fun - but everyone was a real sport and the staff and kitchen resumed the meal service flawlessly. Not many restaurants could have done this.
Be the first to ReplyI feel cornered into writing this review.
We arrived on what we were told was a fully committed night at 4:45pm. The hostess greeted us with a snarl and told us they could not accommodate. We later learned that there were available tables until 6:15 (we had no intention of staying past 1 hour as kids are at home). After sitting at the bar which they told us we could sit at freely, we were told that two of the seats we sat at were reserved. We then moved to another table to get out of the way. The bartender came over, snapped at us and told us the this spot was also reserved. Here's the deal. Everyone in this group has worked in the service industry. As my party consisted of regulars (living down the road) I would have loved a "hey we're fully committed we really want to accommodate you. If you can leave after one hour we will make it work" but no we were not welcome. The staff was rude. Made us feel worthless and unwelcome. I'm sad to say. Though I will say the old fashioned was BOMB.

Ugh. Another one bites the dust. I hate it when long running, beloved restaurants go downhill. I guess new ownership is to blame here, but Brick Farm used to have genuinely upscale dinners with the most fantastic desserts. The quality no longer matches the price and the atmosphere has suffered as well. Can we retire the picnic tables and covid tent already? I'll continue to hold out hope that this restaurant will return to its former pre pandemic glory, but the current state makes me sad.

My wife and I found this place after discovering it was the only establishment you can buy Troon beer (aside from the brewery itself which is only open for beer releases). It's your traditional farm-to-table restaurant and has a constantly changing menu based on ingredient availability and season. Definitely on the higher end side of dining, but worth every penny. We've probably been here four or five times and have a spectacular experience every time. Always looking forward to our next trip out to Hopewell to see what they've come up with.

The farm to table food at Brick Farm Tavern is the true star. We had the Pigs Head, Turkey Wings and a Salad and nothing disappointed us. We washed it all down with a bottle of wine! The server was very attentive and provided a high level of service. I felt like we were given all the info we needed to have the best possible meal given our tastes and preferences. The ambiance was superb as well. The farm provided opportunities for each room to only seat less than a dozen parties each so it felt like we were in a small cozy restaurant.I highly recommend
Be the first to ReplyDelicious lunch and charming atmosphere.
Attentive and helpful staff. One Sunday, we sat outside in 80-degree weather under their tent and the tent provided enough shade and relief from the heat. The outside grounds are really nice and helpful when you have a child who needs to take some walking breaks from the meal. There is a pond, dog run, and gardens (and I'm sure other things I'm missing). We saw a few other families with kids as well. Food was delicious-we chose most of our food based on our server's honest recommendations and she was spot on! She had recommended the empanadas (appetizer packed with meat and vegetable goodies), burger with bacon jam, and apple galette with ice cream (dessert). The menu isn't large, but prefer to have a menu in which everything is likely to be good because it's seasonal/focused/from their farm/other parts of their business. We don't dine out often, partially cause we have a child with food allergies (dairy and nut) and have found it's easier to pack food to eat wherever we go. When we've dined out in the past at other places, the allergies weren't taken seriously (treated rudely) or allergies were treated carelessly (told something didn't have dairy but was topped with dairy). Our server here was incredible about being aware of the allergies; very attentive and communicated well with us and kitchen staff. I can't thank her enough for making something that is stressful, way easier to deal with. She was probably the best server we have ever had in regards to this. This is a place we'll go back for another special occasion for us and have complete confidence in the food and service!

Brick Farm Tavern is located on a 600 acre working farm and has all the makings of a hands down pastoral dining favorite. Rustic seating in the charming "library" is extremely comfortable surrounded by a formidable collection of swine-themed artwork. It works but you had to be there. The service is excellent and on point right down to the tutorial on the origins of the property and a full narrative on the animals likely to be slaughtered on premises for our dining pleasure (It is a working farm after all.)We sidestepped the potential genocide for the excellent seafood borride and the spinach gnocchi both well complimented by the conclave pale ale that is brewed on the grounds.Brick Farm Tavern should be an easy five stars except for the unexpected infestation of flies that made our dinner memorable for all the wrong reasons. I get it, it's a farm but these guests were definitely uninvited, double digit in number and are obviously well aquatinted with the finest in farm to table cuisine.I nailed three of the little bastards but they are quick and had reinforcements. There will be a next time but I'll take no chances and bring along some Napalm or a flame thrower at the very least. Four solid stars.

Highly disappointed! For an appetizer we ordered a pierogi and bone marrow. The dough on the pierogi was raw and the bone marrow was ice cold! We ordered a medium strip steak and the pork. The pork was under seasoned and the steak was a sirlon cooked well done. Our server who's name was Sam wasn't very apologetic and didn't offer to compensate us for any of the misunderstanding. Whoever was cooking in the kitchen on Sunday at 6pm should not be in the kitchen. I gave this place two stars because it's a really pretty spot. We thought the bad reviews weee over exaggerating but they were spot on!!

Had the vegetarian artichoke entre and a side order of bread which were both disappointing for a 4 star restaurant. The artichoke dish was not palatable and the bread low quality for the price.
