Excellent night out for a party of 8
Buddha Bar is a long, long time big brand for food and entertainment. Dubai offers up the Buddha Bar experience. Comfortable and colorful dining room. Adjacent bar with some views of the stage. We were celebrating a "pre birthday party". Table location had a good view of the stage, Menu has signature dishes, lots of sushi and sashimi and som main courses. Signature dishes are like appetizers. I ordered a selection. Generally tasty although Black cod poppers were not exceptional - more like normal fish (without chips). Alchohol is like everywhere in Dubai - terribly overpriced. The dinner show was very good. We ultimately transitioned to the bar area so our group nuts could enjoy a cigar. The service was outstanding. Easy transition to the bar. Everything coordinated. Good place for a night out but bring your wallet.

I chose this restaurant for my partners birthday. We had been there once before on a previous visit to Dubai with some friends and always had fantastic memories of that night and we determined to return at some stage in the future. Our hotel ensured that they were aware that it was my partner’s birthday, and they did everything they could to make sure that the evening went smoothly, and we did not want for anything. This venue is not just a great restaurant. They have a fantastic floor show that takes place throughout the night whilst you were eating and is a ”must” to be seen. Check they have the floor show the night that you are going as it definitely adds the experience (it is not every night). I hope both the quality of the food and the floor show can be seen clearly from the photographs attached. The food was outstanding once again and whilst we did not have one bad meal in Dubai, this was right up there with the best. The staff were first class from the moment we arrived, to the moment we left and they could not do enough for us. The whole evening was exquisite, and we could not have asked for more and we cannot wait to go back the next time we’re in Dubai over the next few months.
Great experience at Buddha bar
First time in Buddha bar Dubai and it was a great experience. Ambiance is perfect. Meal was delicious and the show performance every 30-1hr was very entertaining. The best part of it all was our server, Seya. She gave an extra touch and really made us feel so welcome. She is a one of the reasons that I would come back! She was very personable and really made us feel very welcome (I know weird to say because I am talking about a bar not a hotel)! Anyways, can’t wait to go back with my bf!
Fat Buddha’s
Pros: staff very friendly Upmarket venue Interesting and original concept Cons: staff not attentive - we waited over an hour for the sushi platter I ordered, by which time our bottle of wine was well below empty and appetizer long gone. Obviously caters to the “locals”. We made reservations months in advance and were seated next to a column with limited views. Make sure to ask for table in front of stage. Rules (see attached) seem only to apply to certain guests! I would have stayed and ordered more wine and food, but service is well below standards and having waited over an hour and half cancelled. Not surprising location in London went into bankruptcy. I had indicated on our reservation that it was our anniversary, but clearly this went completely unnoticed.
The most Amazing Bar
Me and three of my friends were truly mesmerized with this venture. The vibe, ambiance and set up is very chic! Food is super good. Everything that we ordered is super delicious. Presentation of the food, from starter, mains and dessert and the beverages is truly a gastronomic delights. The entertainment performance is magnificent. It is also something we can look forward to the night. Dinner is superb and it makes more outstanding with the amazing personnel, Ms. Chiang, John, Bia and Raghu, they were very kind, pleasant, helpful and attentive. This place is truly gem. Very well recommended for a special night out.

Excellent Dubai Marina brunch
Amazing brunch - variety and quality of the food is faultless. Atmosphere is great - a dj playing just the right music to add to the occasion. This brunch would suit all diners from couples to larger groups with fun sharing the dishes on offer. Special mention to our waiter Sameer - he was fantastic. He kept checking in to ensure that everything was perfect for us - he had a great sense of humour and a lovely personality. Nothing was too much trouble for him.
Great vibes and food
My other half and I had dinner here and absolutely loved it. It has a great chilled out vibe and the food is fantastic, as were the cocktails. Our waiter was very knowledgeable on the menu and food was on our table in good time. This is one of our favourite restaurants in Dubai and we will certainly be back.
Saturday brunch is amazing and vibrant
Still the icon in DXB and a must visit experience. Superb cuisine and atmosphere that attracts a very cool crowd. From arrival you are met by a superb front of house team. The Asian themes are reflected in the menu option and the drinks selections plenty. Saturday brunch was an amazing experience! Booking is essential.
Very bad place and service.
We took the reservation as it said it has live DJ and good music it did not.. there was a host,who led us and gave us the worst seating in the complete back of the hall when we asked them that this is not a good spot if they can change, she didn't care and was extremely rude and snobby and refused. we didn't feel welcomed made a move to leave right away as after sitting for almost 15 minutes, there is no person or server to even reach out to the host didn't even care if he got up and left. we hated this place and would not ever recommend anyone to go as they are completely misleading by saying that there is good music and DJ and good ambience. It is nothing and the people who are there don't even care if you're there or not save yourself with better please and save your time.

A MUST when visiting Paris. Great Asian Fusion food and cocktails. Best to go for an early dinner time, gets packed and less opportunity to get a reservation later in the evening.
The ambience of this place is just out of the world.
We made advance reservations and still were seated pretty away from the main area and buddha. Upon requesting, we were moved closer to the main area. The decor and ambience there is just amazing. The food was above average, little on the costlier side. The vegetable green curry and dumplings were really good. The bar area was also good, didn't get a chance to try the cocktails there. Highly recommend visiting one of the buddha bars across the globe.

Great Place for expensive weak drinks with great decor like a Bangkok Whore Lounge with the music just a bit too loud to really enjoy being here. Food was over priced for just average quality warmed up frozen dinners served on fancy plates. This is not Paris finest place to chill people. It's close to the Designer shops and fancy hotels. Don't waste your energy here. Sad because it could be something really good if ran right, had a good chef, house dj on deck, attentive staff that can do more than one task with both hands? I don't want to do it but with a location like that, it can't be that hard?

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
