Lovely Bartending!
You will meet one of most talented and friendly bartender Ivan (or Evan). I had a great conversation and got a chance to learn about the cockatiels he made for me. I just had a chicken cherar and it was good too. The size of the portion was bigger than I expected. I loved the background music. I’d love to go there again.
Be the first to ReplyExtremely disappointing customer service
Absolutely awful place, cancelled our dinner reservation 1.5 hours before the given time, on a Friday night when we had already made our way into London as we live outside. No answer on the phone or to emails. Totally ruined a birthday celebration as we then had to struggle to find somewhere else for dinner. Very disappointed as they expect a deposit when you cancel but no compensation or customer service when they cancel on you.

This restaurant is at the end of its life! Only 20 people for dinner. It's understandable: the food is just awful. We were 4 to be almost sick. The only taste of the dishes: fat. On the other hand, the prices are exorbitant. Don't go there anymore, it's awful
Be the first to ReplyNice but expansive, other places were you can get better food and drinks
The atmosphere is ok. It’s cozy, the food is good however the truffle did neither smell anything and tasted nothing that was very weird since you are paying for that. Not to many people even though a Friday night. It’s expensive.

Be the first to ReplyShocked at the prices.
Decadence at its height. The highlight was the groove the dj tried to create and the friendliness of staff. But in general, everyone seemed too stressed, customers trying to outdo each other and staff stretched. I cannot fault them the staff was polite, but there was an undercurrent that left me uncomfortable. I would not go back.

location super as always, good asian food, but service wasn't up to the standard. Many delay for the drinks and error in the order. For that price we can't accept it. Anyway, food was delicious.

As an expensive restaurant in Knightsbridge I had high hopes that this restaurant would be something special both in terms of food, as well as service and overall ambience. As far as ambience was concerned the restaurant was so dark we had to use the torches on our phone to see the menu, had I known this in advance I would of brought my camping torch but then again I wouldn’t thought I’d be needing camping gear in the middle of Knightsbridge. On the service, the staff seemed very busy and not very attentive I had to gaze like a lost parrot to try and get their attention to get a drink. I asked the waiter repeatedly whether food had diary as I have an allergy to which the response was “yes?” I was also asked whether coconut milk was diary… As far as the food is concerned my local Chinese takeaway is leaps and bounds ahead of the food here. They didn’t cater well for my diary allergy, a lot of the food had diary. Of what I could have was pomegranate salad which tasted like rabbit food. Chicken with naan bread, yes you read that correctly, which was dryer than the Gobi Desert. Although the sashimi and Wagu beef was nice this didn’t make up for the rest of the tasteless offerings. Overall if you love throwing money away as a pastime this will be perfect for you. Additionally if you are sensitive to light and like dark spaces this will also work like a charm as you won’t be able to see your menu or the person you came with.

Be the first to ReplySaturday dine out
Nice atmosphere to grab a drink. As for dining, the music was a bit too loud. Food was fresh, high quality, but disappointingly quite ordinary in terms of taste and flavour combinations. Cocktails were delicious though.
Be the first to ReplyGreat weekend in London
It was on the weekend - Saturday night . We wanted some different experience from Dubai or Marrakesh . Definitely was worth, or I assume these days less then 150£ per person is not really high end restaurant. Happy to recommend and visit again.
Be the first to ReplyLovely place and amazing food
I went out with my friends last weekend and we had great time in Buddha Bar. We felt super welcomed and management gave us the best service we could have asked for. Absolutely recommend it if you are passing by Knightsbridge!
Be the first to ReplyOne of my favourite spots in London
A must go in the heart of knightsbridge. Buddha Bar is just one of those places you can't go wrong with when it comes to great atmosphere and even better food and drinks. One derail that certainly makes the difference is the outstanding service. I always feel a VIP thanks to the amazing staff; the management really knows how to look after the guests and pay attention to every detail. A luxurious esperience from every angle. Highly recommended.

Be the first to ReplyThank you Sophia
The restaurants environment is amazing, but note that you need to call for reservation. Let’s start with sophia, she was very friendly and did a great costumer service!!! She is definitely the best. Ifah the waitress was very helpful too. Now let’s begin with the food. This is not my first time in buddha bar, but i’ve noticed that there is different in the taste of the food, it was unflavored. I hope that they will take this comment in consideration.
Be the first to ReplyBeware**** they have changed their menu. Go if sushi is your thing…
Warning to all Buddha bar regulars the menu has changed and they have nothing like what they used to. They have dramatically switched the menu and ultimately made Buddha bar a sushi spot rather than the amazing Thai restaurant it used to be. No longer serve black cod, dim sum, Thai stir fries or ANY rice dishes. We went and immediately left after being informed that there was absolutely no flexibility to the menu and the chef refused to make any dishes we requested from the old menu. I will not be returning until they do something about it. I guess there are plenty other Thai restaurants in the sea…🤷🏾 ♀️shrugs

My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary! We use to come here for dinner and we were pleasantly surprised with their new and improved menu! It’s delicious and bursting with flavour. Very cool vibe and amazing ambiance. The staff are friend and professional! We also got to meet the chef! Definitely coming back here again soon
Be the first to ReplyBad experience 0/10
Shocking 0/10 if it would let me. Rude manager poor food I cannot believe people would eat here total and utter rubbish.avoid at all cost
Be the first to ReplyFood is ok but very overpriced!
The food was nice but not amazing - definitely overpriced! Think they rely on the branding and so don't have to worry too much about the quality of food. Pleasant enough atmosphere but feels close to like you're eating in a nightclub - the music is too loud for dinner conversation. Probably wouldn't return but it wasn't the worst experience. Expensive for an average experience.
Be the first to ReplyDon´t go there
In the past we have visited the Buddha Bar in Budapest and Prague and were delighted. Unfortunately, the Buddha bar in London was more than disappointing for us. First of all, the service was more than bad. We had to wait again and again very long and remind the waiters. When leaving, we were told on our request to call a taxt that such a service is not offered. Further, the food was not satisfactory, for example, in the Crunchy Sushi, the bottom part was as hard and tough as plastic. Finally, the guests in our immediate vicinity seemed as if you were on the red light millieu (loud, unpleasant, rungschreien) or from very proletarian circumstances. An absolute recommendation, if you are looking for a similar restaurant with great food, great ambience and pleasant guests, is the Lucky Cat by Gordon Ramsay.
Be the first to ReplyWould definitely come back
Really nice sushi. I had sushi rolls with tempura prawn which was amazing. I also had some crispy squid and a lovely strawberry cocktail. Waitresses and waiters clean the table between courses. The ambience is really good and I would definitely come back.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointed diner
Terrible!!!
Worst Chicken Green Curry in my life! Pad Thai soggy and tasteless. Overpriced and poor quality
Don’t bother unless you like wasting money
TERRIBLE FOOD & OVERPRICED.
The food was like an average takeaway. The spring rolls were from frozen, dessert was like a supermarket dessert. No way were either of these made at the restaurant. We didn’t try the sushi so can’t comment on that.
It’s a place for instagram photos and a cocktail.
Not for me...
I booked a table at Buddha Bar in Knightsbridge for my birthday after having a great experience at Buddha Bar in Egypt.
Two of the people who were supposed to attend the meal were unable to come last minute and the restaurant charged me £25 per person no show fee. Considering we visited at a time when it was advised to isolate after testing positive for covid, I feel that this charge is excessive and put a dampener on the mood of the meal before we even sat down.
The food was bland and overpriced in comparison to other restaurants within the area. The restaurant was clean and had nice interior but it felt like it was designed for taking photos for social media rather than having a delicious meal and immersing into the experience.
