We had a nice time here.
This place has a great vibe. The music, the lighting, the decor made for a great ambience. Service was great. We ordered a zombie and Tokyo old fashioned. Zombie tasted great. We ordered spicy mango maki, rainbow and soft shell crab bao buns. The food was delicious and the presentation was nice. The price is a very steep.

I would like to start with giving my most highest esteemed appraisal of the service that I received at Buddha Bar London. My host Eden and server Ifrah took a precise, thoughtful, and customized approach to my dining experience. I experienced a few mishaps earlier in the afternoon which caused me to be extremely late for my reservation. However, Eden and Ifrah turned a somewhat negatively eventful afternoon into an amazingly memorable evening. Both Eden and Ifrah took extra time and care to make sure the accommodations I received were nothing less than 5 star. I am an avid customer of the New York location however, both Eden and Ifrah ensured that my experience would be something to always remember in London. I will definitely patronize this location and give my highest appraisal to the staff especially Eden and Ifrah! Absolutely fabulous.

Service was efficient. The food was mediocre and over priced for the quality.

I've been a frequent flyer to Buddha bars but never met a place with better ambience and better service than this location. Antonio, the bartender was on it 100% of the time and constantly provided exceptional service and hospitality. Easily the best bartender I've encountered because of his personal charisma and constant caring of a customer. Thank you Antonio for letting me name this bar, the most enjoyable bar in London!
Be the first to ReplyAmazing service! Amazing food! Nice ambience.
It is loud in here but it was expected and the night I went had a DJ. More of a social sushi spot with amazing sushi and cocktails. I dined solo but really wanted the dry ice served with my meal. The waiter told me it was only for large orders. But they then surprised me with it on my order. The sushi and ceviche were very good and the cocktails were amazing. I can't remember the name of the cocktail picture but I had like 4 of them. The waiter accidentally overcharged me the wrong amount for the meal and flagged me down on the way out to make it right. They gave me a few complimentary cocktails for the inconvenience. Amazing establishment. Make a reservation as far as you can in advance, weekends get packed. Be the first to ReplyMade a reservation for 5 people and was sat a table for 4.
We made it work but it was cramped. ย The food was mediocre. I had much better Thai/Asian at other restaurants in strip malls. Nothing was to write home about. Not worth the money

I have been to other Budha Bar in other countries, for example been to Madrid, and compared to other countries, here is 10 time more expensive and for no reason other than you are in London, where the sun never shine and the food is "great"... But compared to other clubs here, is a good place to go, giving the options.

I am writing in addition to another review by Cheryl Hamersmith. I would just like to restate the important details and events that took place while at this restaurant. My family and I had been here multiple times over the years, although yes the staff is a bit slow and definitely not up to par with what buddha bar is, we decided to come back and try to have another nice dinner. The dinner started off fine. We were seated almost immediately, it was a regular weekday night. Right when we were seated we were welcomed and were asked to order drinks, we did, but even those took an absurd amount of time. We had to call our waiter over once or twice for him to bring them. By the time we were ready to place our order for dinner, we informed our waiter that my cousin had a very sensitive and severe peanut allergy, she is anaphylactic. He understood and made note of that. My little cousin asked if she could get the pad thai without peanuts or anything, as she has that at many other restaurants and is fine. He assured us that the meal would be okay for her to eat and we continued to order for the rest of the table. Our appetizers came rather on time and we ate through those quickly because we were so hungry. Throughout the whole dinner the service was horrendous, I dont know if it is because the waiter is new or just didnt like our table, but the service is not what I am here to write about today, many others have written about it and i am sad to see they do not take these seriously. Continuing, only about half of us got our food while the rest were waiting, but between then my little cousin had symptoms of her peanut allergy. She had extremely swollen lips, to the point of like lip fillers gone wrong. During that time, half the table is still waiting for their food, but my cousin and sister went home to take her epee pen and be in the comfort of our home. Then, my mother asks to speak to the waiter who then hands her over to the F & B manager just to make sure that there was no peanuts or traces in her meal to understand the situation and her health. The man off the bat was so incredibly rude explaining that there is no way this could have happened here. At this point, my sister and cousin are already at home, epee pen administered, but symptoms getting even worse that we had to call the paramedics. The manager keeps insititng it didnt happen at their resaurant, but honestly that is not want we cared about or wanted to hear. We were concerned with the health and life of a little girl where this man was only concerened with the liability. While we are freaking out and trying to get home, the man is bombarding my mother with the bill and explaining how he will take off the pad thai and the two cods that never arrived to our table. WHO CARES?! The fact that we still had to pay for a meal that almost killed a little girl is disgusting and the fact that they would not let us leave, knowing what was happening is even worse. By the time my mother paid the bill and we are finally getting out of this disgusting restaurant, my sister calls to tell that my cousin cannot breathe at all and we need the paramedics immediately. We are Americans here on vacation and did not know how to dial for the paramedics. The only good thing the F & B manager did was reluctantly offer his telephone to call the paramedics, knowing they are screwed. My little cousin had to use 1 epee pen and 2 adrenaline shots. She was admitted to the hospital where she kept having attacks from her so called "peanut free meal" and had to stay in the hospital over night. Budda Bar has no respect for the personal health of their customers, but only for profits. Restating: MY MOM HAD TO PAY FOR THE BILL THAT NEARLY KILLED MY COUSIN. that is what they care about, not about the fact that they nearly killed a 15 year old girl, right budda bar? We spent the whole night crying and worrying about the health of our cousin, while the staff could not be more rude and condescending to us and trying to get us to leave. Honestly for such a "high end" restaurant, we all expected more. Even restaurants like wagamama that are not as expensive as here are much more concerned and take food allergies seriously. We have been to wagamama now 4 times because they actually CARE and take these issues SERIOUSLY. They have a manager come take the order, they have a binder filled with meals that are peanut free and safe for those with allergies to eat. All budda bar has is condescending and rude staff that need to be right about everything and do not care if they almost killed a 15 year old girl because its budda bar, but guess what. Now you will have to face the music because this can happen to anyone reading this if you are thinking of going there. They have no respect or remorse for their actions. Bad service, bad morals, buddha bar you must be ashamed. dont waste your time here, or risk your life.
Be the first to ReplyNice restaurant.
We ordered the spicy edamame, sea bass and mushroom wontons, mixed vegetable pad Thai and short ribs. I thought the food was very good and the service excellent. We went as soon as it opened so it was nice and quiet in contrast to the hustle and bustle of the streets outside. Ps: I keep thinking about the edamame
Be the first to ReplyI came here for dinner.
I'm sure it's a great place if you want ambiance. ย But if you care about food or service please save your time and money and find a falafel stand instead. We asked for tap water and it was warm. We ordered sushi and got two soy sauce bowls to share among 6 people. Asked for more that never arrived. I've been waiting for the cheque so we can leave for 30 minutes thus far.

Pricey fusion food (thai, japanese and few others). They can't do anything right. ย Bad service too. ย They took away the chopsticks and the cloth napkin and brought ridiculous paper cocktail mapkins when asked. AVOId AVOId.
