Get the brisket/pesto grilled cheese.
It's amazing and the chili was damn good too! Gets crowded at lunch time, know why? Because the food is awesome!

Conveniently located at the meeting of three major lifts, Buffalo's is extremely convenient for a quick coffee, a bathroom break, or a mid-morning snack. The breakfast sandwich (egg, sausage and cheese) on a croissant is pretty tasty and they serve Starbucks coffee (no speciality brews though). This no-frills log cabin gets packed around lunchtime with lines both inside and at the outdoor burger bar, so be prepared to wait. There isn't much seating either, which is why I prefer this for a pit stop rather than my lunch spot.

Microwaved eggs that are cold by the time you sit down. For over $8 you would expect a little more effort. Restaurants should be required to post a sign 'food not fresh'

It's a saver in the mountain but the food and drinks are pretty bad. We got the Italian sandwich and the salad. The bread on the sandwich was not fresh, the meat seemed to have dried out from not being kept well. And the salad definitely was not fresh. I also got hot chocolate that tasted very artificial. Unless you have to make a pit stop here, I would not advise you to go here to eat.

My little brother and I had to make a pit stop here because it was absolutely freezing out, something like 2 degrees. My little brother was on the verge of tears. Right before we sat down the manager, Brian came up to us and offered my little bro some hand warmers from his pocket! If that wasn't enough, a few minutes later he returned with two hot chocolates! He totally saved the day! Thanks Brian!! You're the man!

At the top of the mountain after you get off the Mountaintop Express Lift (4), is Buffalo's. Serving soups, sandwiches, and simple salads in addition to hot beverages and pastries, it's a convenient spot for lunch or a snack. The menu is limited so I ordered a chicken caesar salad for about $15 and wasn't particularly impressed. The chicken wasn't high quality and the croutons were the best part. Luckily, the chips and banana bread made the meal better. Points for location, views, and pastries, but would love to have a little higher quality for the price. There's also limited seating, but the turnover is fast, so you can grab a spot relatively quickly if you hover.
