Great, great food. Recommend 100%. I'm sure that there's something to fall in love for everyone in the menu.Be the first to Reply
Maybe I just made a poor choice in my entree (the carbonara) but I wasn't too impressed. Everything we had was good but not mind blowing, My boyfriend got the fiocchetti alle pere e tartufo and that was pretty good I'd probably rate that alone like 4.5 stars. I very much regret not getting the Gaby since that's what I was stuck between. Great espresso martini though. Place was packed so maybe it's just me!Be the first to Reply
I was wearing heels and walked in an outside terrace to be seated at one of the cushiony seats. When I dropped down looking forward to relax on these comfy looking pillows my tailbone was hurt and mildly dislocated. The seats are so old and GIRLS very dangerous. My back has been hurting for a while now. Hope there's no serious lower back injury. Be careful!Be the first to Reply
This neighborhood gem offers a wonderful experience whether you are seated inside or outside. The brick patio is beautifully appointed with pretty striped umbrellas and cushions and surrounded by flowers and other greenery. The menu offers something for everyone, but the pizzas (expertly cooked in a wood-fired oven) are what it is most famous for. The grilled shrimp and caprese salad were also excellent as was the grilled salmon. Our server (Jelena) was professional, incredibly friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is both kid and dog friendly but that should not discourage those looking for a sophisticated dining experience as it is so well-run that everyone who dines here is happy and well taken care of. We give this restaurant five stars for ambiance, cuisine and service. AAA+++Be the first to Reply
The food always is delicious. The wait staff is efficient even if not especially cordial. The host staff is downright ornery. We had a reservation for two, and first were directed to the bar area to be seated on a couch with a tiny table for dinner, and then to a table immediately next to the busy busboy/busgirl station. A request to be moved to one of three open tables was met with a denial saying they were reserved. (Again, we had a reservation too). It is a shame the host detracted from an otherwise fine evening.Be the first to Reply

My daughter said we needed to check out the pizza here because of a great review by David Portnoy. I didn't think the pizza or pasta were anything special and the pasta portion was tiny. I did like the outside dining area, which is a pretty secluded feeling patio and the service was pretty good.Be the first to Reply
This place is in a good location, but the portions are tiny and the dishes are mediocre. I ordered a clam pasta and half the dish was clamshells and the pasta was barely cooked.Be the first to Reply
Just celebrated my 50th at Call me Gaby and the food, service and ambiance were just top notch. We had a large group and everyone was so happy with their dishes. Beautiful restaurant and just a wonderful place to have a special occasion. We will be back!Be the first to Reply
This was a last minute decision but it was the best decision. The food was exquisite and if I'm ever back I will come back. The pastas, the pizza and the dessert was delicious. Everything was great, the ambiance, the food and the service. The pizza was fluffy, the risotto tasted so fresh.Be the first to Reply
My favourite was the pizzas and tiramisu. The ambiance is the reason to go.Be the first to Reply
Anything you order is amazing! Their salads are great, the pinsa is the best I ever had; drinks and dessert, too. I will be returning often. Ambiance is spectacular and it's a great place to celebrate special occasions.Be the first to Reply
We decided to come here after I was told the pizza is one of the best in Miami. This place is very nice and has a great range for celebrating any occasion from a casual lunch to a romantic date night. The place is beautiful and the decoration is inviting. The service was good and the food and drinks we had were all delicious. My only criticism would be that is overpriced in my opinion but it didn't bother me because I was aware prior to booking our reservation. Being a local from dade county, you will definitely feel the "tourist" or "south beach" tax.You can see everything we had in the pictures and I was amazed at a few dishes such as the watermelon salad and pizzas, the pizza dough and sauce is amazing and for drinks the one in the dessert menu called gigolo was out of this world, I would drink a bucket of it if I could.Definitely a place to try. We will most likely go back to have some of their pasta dishes as they looked amazing. Also parking is a pain just like any place in south beach. They have valet parking but it wasn't available when we arrived at noon.Be the first to Reply
Modern relaxing music with excellent people watching in the heart of South Beach. The service is good. The prices are overpriced like the rest of South Beach.Be the first to Reply
However, after my intimate birthday dinner experience at "call me Gaby", I felt cheated and honestly think this review is extremely necessary. We had reservations, but still had to stand outside for 1 hour. After standing outside for what seemed to be an eternity, the hostess decided to sit us inside because our table never became available ... there's a reason why I wanted to sit outside but this isn't the end of the world. Or is it?! since there is a whole pandemic going on and all. Inside of this establishment may as well be where Omicron took off in miami because let me tell you...the place is completely packed, guests are pretty much on top of each other and even going to the bathroom is a mission and a half. The service was bad, my server took 15 minutes to bring me silverware. ( after our first round of food was served) He also kept taking the menu away, after I repeatedly asked him to leave it on the table since we were not done ordering. We didn't even eat 1/4 of any of the appetizers and entrees we ordered and our server didn't even attempt to do anything about it. The food was the worst part about this entire experience and the main reason why I am writing this review. The FOCCACIA: dry, stiff and tasteless. The GNOCCHI: Chewy like rubber and the sauce literally tasted like milk. Just plain tasteless. So tasteless, my boyfriend thought his gustatory system was compromised. SPAGHETTI ALLE VONGOLE: Tasted like absolutely nothing, it was the most blend spaghetti I have consumed and my clams tasted bitter. ): The CHARCUTERIE PLATTER: ok. I mean, how hard it is to slap some cheese and meat on a board?!Furthermore, my salad and Pinot Grigio were the only selections My partner and I enjoyed.Be the first to Reply
And for that part of South of Fifth you could be circling the block for 30 minutes. I suggest an Uber or going in off-hours. I'll start with what not to get. The pizza is overrated and under flavored. It's average at best and is not a good representation of what they do well. The pasta is phenomenal. Heavy on the garlic, al dente, and served beautifully--the way pasta should be. The ambiance is also great. Reminds me of a friendly neighborhood pasta spot where you arrive hungry and leave happy.Be the first to Reply
Came here because Dave Portnoy said the pizza was fire -- and he speaks the truth. The pasta is also melt in your mouth and the gem salad was the best light crispy salad I've had in a while. Obsessed. Go here.Be the first to Reply
Excellent, cute little find in the South of Fifth section of South Beach, across the street from Joe's.Met a friend for happy hour and stationed myself at an outside table since it was a lovely afternoon. Ordered the plain, Roman style Margherita pizza and it was sensational. As the slogan on one of the waiters T-shirt's stated: in pizza we crust. I agree--phenomenal crispy flavor and a good balance of sauce and cheese. One of the best pizzas I have had in Miami (and I've had them all).Washed the pizza down with Malbec and definitely need to come back and sample some of the other pizzas as well as pasta.Be the first to Reply
