Entertainment was great. Apps were great. Service was great. It was fun they had a magician come to our table.

This is a Buca di Beppo thatt is dark if you like gimmicky restaurants that are Big on show then this is for you. Food food service were mediocre at best. We ordered salads and entrées and of course the salads never appeared Service was abysmal and there is no management. There is a singer which is called their entertainment but the sound system is so poor all it does is drown out your conversation despite all these drawbacks the restaurant was surprisingly busy I do not honestly know why there is no attraction here presentation of the food was quite unappealing nobody came by to ask how her food was or to even check on us needless to say I am one and done not coming back and I suggest you do the same
😒
This place is definitely worth a visit, it has a fun
This place is definitely worth a visit, it has a fun ambiance and Italian mob theme throughout the restaurant. You walk in to a surprise with how to get access into the main restaurant which was fun. The service and attitude of staff is great but the food wasn't too impressionable. I ordered the capones carbonara and was disappointed. It was pretty expensive as well but I'm hoping to come back and try something new and hopefully itl\l be better quality and taste. The idea of this restaurant is perfect, I just wish the food was a bit better.
🙂
A real fun dining experience! Had to get in thru the phone
A real fun dining experience! Had to get in thru the phone booth just like an old fashioned speak easy. It was a cute touch! We walk in and the restaurant was dimly lit, which really kept the "speak easy" theme going. We sat at the bar for a cocktail. She was a great bartender (April) and she made a great drink. We sat and had dinner which was in view of a singer. Lounge type singer. Loved it! Burrata was very good and so was the sauce they served with the bread. All dinners are named "mob style' named dishes. I had the spaghetti and meatballs. BIG portion. My husband had the 'Fredo's Wise Guy Alfredo". Got such a kick out of the menu. Food was very good. Word to the wise though, if you do not like your pasta al dente, you have to tell them. That's how it was served. I like it al dente and husband does not. So just a fair warning. Open your mouth if you need to have soft pasta. Enjoy the meal, enjoy the experience!

We had a large group and they did their best to accommodate us. Food was good- nothing spectacular but the place has a really cool vibe. Unique place off the strip with cool music.
🙂
Great, homey Italian food! We loved the vibe and live music.
We had a great Chianti wine. A few mishaps with appetizers and food it being warm but I would recommend this place to people who want to get away from the crazy In Vegas!
Left at 9:30. Lots of waiting. 30 minutes to get a drink. Live music was what made the place! Appetizers never came. Magician and waiter fought over our attention at the table. Table of 11 with seating for 8 people.
😍
First time here tonight.
Lasagna was delicious, the waiters, Alex & Chicago Tommy were great, Ms Sage Waters performed, and the beautiful couple seated next to us brought me & my date drinks! Great time.

This was my 3rd visit to Capo's and 1st since the pandemic
This was my 3rd visit to Capo's and 1st since the pandemic shut everything down. While the food and atmosphere were still amazing, there were several differences. The prices were substantially higher than I remember, we did not get salads with our entrees and they never brought us bread, even though we asked several times. Plus, because we had 7 in our party they included the tip- 23% which is excessive, especially considering the service we received - didn't even get refills on water. Tuesday is locals night with BOGO free but only up to $20, but is nothing on the menu for $20.
😍
We've been coming to Vegas for years and finally ventures
We've been coming to Vegas for years and finally ventures "off strip" for a couple of meals this trip. Our taxi driver recommended this place to us. We made reservations and showed up to find a remarkably plain restaurant that had a very unusual entrance since it is a throw back to the speakeasies of yesteryear! Jerry met us at the door and personally seated us at arguably the best table in the joint right in front of the stage that Ronnie was singing from. She was good but the food was even better. Can't recommend the chicken Parmesan & chicken Lucchese enough. We will definitely be headed back when not in such a rush. Had to hustle to the opening show to Foreigner's residency, Chicken Parmigianawhich was the bomb!!
😍
This was such an amazing experience.
We did not have reservations, but Tommy was able to accommodate my boyfriend and I. We bought a couple of drinks at the bar and before we finished them, Tommy already had a table for us. Their customer service was exceptional. Tommy's nephew was so funny and helpful! Literally every ten minutes someone would come and check up on us. Not only were they accommodating and friendly, but their food was very good. I was surprised to see how tasty their drinks were and they do indeed have the best meatballs. I loved their decor and they have live music, this place is a must!
🤢
This place used to be awesome.
Not so much anymore. Crowded 6 people in a 5 person booth and it took almost an hour between the salads and the entree. Just super disappointed in how this place and service has gone down hill.
😍
Service and atmosphere were great.
Food was delicious and prices were very fair. We loved the music too.

Whenever someone asks me for the best Italian food in Vegas
Whenever someone asks me for the best Italian food in Vegas my first answer is Capos!! My first visit there was five years ago and my goodness it was hard phenomenal! I'd rave about it so much that I always promised myself to one day come back and celebrate my anniversary with my girlfriend there! Sure enough the day arrived! I was celebrating my two year anniversary with the girl of my dreams, we had a bit of a long rocky night at Capo's but it was no one's fault there. I met Tommy, the restaurant manager, and I told him about my first visit years ago and how much I loved the food and just the experience of feeling like I'm in a scene of a classic Mobster movie. I told him I'm not upset lol just hungry for only Capos. He gave me his card and told my girlfriend and I to give him a call and invited us to come back and he would not disappoint. This Tommy, oh man! Change his name to Tommy Gunns cuz he sure went all out when we came back for our second night. He introduced my girlfriend and I to both the chefs that night, he got us complimentary cocktails & desert, he even got us the same awesome waiter from the night before. Shit you not! No other restaurant manager has ever taken the initiative to make sure to go out his way to ensure you will never forget the name Capo's Italian Restaurant & Speakeasy! Tommy & the staff did such an incredible job in the three times I've visited! Please when you go make sure you tell Tommy, Alex, Brandon, Jason, and all three of those amazing chefs Sasha sent ya & to bring back those stuffed mushrooms because my God I dream about them!

Our first impressions were great! However the service was garbage. Server took our drink order and it took about thirty minutes to get them. When we got the drinks we were missing a couple. Server never came by while we waited for our meals so we found ourselves going to the bar for drinks. After about an hour and 15 minutes we found the server and asked for an update was told it was being prepped. 5 minutes later she stopped by our table and told us two of the 7 dishes we ordered were sold out. Alternative items were selected. Another 5-10 minutes go by and we get our meals. Ravioli cold in center, chicken was cold and sitting in a watery type sauce. Tasted awful. Salad entry was warm and looked like it was sitting out for 1.5 hours.... Other items were good per the other party members. Nice atmosphere and we really wanted to enjoy it but the server just dropped the ball and then served us crap after we waited patiently.
😍
This place is really cool.
When you first arrive you will be in sort of an outside waiting room and you will have to walk up to a door and knock on it to let them know you've arrived. A slot will open up as if you're entering an illegal mafia owned gambling hall -- and a man acting like a mobster will ask how many are in your party....then the door will open and he will very amicably show you to your seat. It is very dimly lit inside which can either be creepy or romantic depending on your mood...but I kind of liked it. The food is absolutely delicious, and the portion sizes are large. There are always a musician or two performing old school standards like you would hear at the old nightclubs in Mafia movies. The vibe in there is very friendly and low key, and its one of those niche type restaurants that you should check out just for the experience when you're in Vegas -- because it's unique and the food is fantastic.

How have I allowed myself to wait this long to try Capo's?
How have I allowed myself to wait this long to try Capo's? I clearly have been missing out!The restaurant is located off the strip on Sahara. It's very much has an old school, mobster vibe with special surprises from the moment you walk in and throughout the entire dinner sitting. For my first visit, I ordered the lasagna for dinner and oh.em.gee. it was amazing. First of all, the portion size is VERY GENEROUS - layers of handmade pasta, meatballs, sausage, cheeses, and Capo's sauce. Yummm. The flavors are very well balanced and it's so addicting. I stopped halfway through because I wanted dessert but trust me, I could have eaten the whole thing.Dessert? Tiramisu, of course. That is my favorite Italian dessert and Capo's does it right. Rich and thick mascarpone, lady fingers...so good. I highly recommend saving room for it no matter what.I can't wait to go back and it will probably be fairly soon because I am already craving the lasagna again and that was just yesterday that I had it and I had leftovers this morning but I do want to try their other pasta dishes, classic Italian entrees (like parmigiana, Marsala, piccata, etc.), and they have steaks too!Check them out!! Your belly will be happy!

Best italian food in the city, and the staff is out of this world. Great food, great live music, great drinks (big AND strong). Whats not to love???

The vibe and atmosphere were awesome! Getting inside is a neat fun experience. The garlic cheese bread appetizer was good. The lasagna was amazing, but the soup that came out beforehand was only luke warm. This was the perfect spot for our anniversary dinner.
🙂
Been here a few times before when visiting from NY.
Solid italian food. Old school type of joint. Personable hosts and servers. I enjoyed the Arrabiata pasta which was excellent sitting in a very spicy and very garlicky red sauce, exactly how it should be. Beware that it is very dark inside so try and get a table with an overhead light.

Great experience, delicious food and so much fun! Staff was amazing. Long weight for food but compensated us with free drinks and dessert. Magician was so much fun and love music was really enjoyable.

So impressed with this place.
Tommy, Brandon, and April made the night. Amazing people! They were short staffed and we had a ridiculous wait but they totally took care of us. The team gave us appetizers on the house and I can't express how delicious they were. We were so full but then added a few dishes and WOW just incredible food. This place gets 5 stars. Highly recommend. Will be back!
🤮
Been wanting to try this place.
I called multiple times to try and place an order for takeout and the phone would ring and go to voicemail stating to leave your name and number to confirm party seating, BUT their mailbox is full. Thing is, every time I called, it would ring a different amount of times before going to voicemail (sometimes only once) , like someone was declining the calls. Pretty disappointed.

The problem with eating Italian food is that five or six
The problem with eating Italian food is that five or six days later your hungry again. Amazing time at CAPO'S Restaurant and Speakeasy. A great friend, Cath, from out of town who I have not seen for four plus years was visiting Las Vegas. She was participating in the ASD Trade show and I had only one opportunity to visit with her. She wanted something vintage and fun. Immediately, I thought of CAPO'S which she has never been before. Trying to get reservations online was tough on short notice. Early in the A.M., received a message from CAPO'S letting me know that once they open, they will check on an earlier availability. The day went by as my nervousness rose and I was on my way to pick up Cath at the Trump International Hotel - and no word on reservations. As I was walking into the Hotel, Mel called me from CAPO'S and was able to get me in at 7:00. My dream/plan was fulfilled. Kudos to Mel who manages CAPO'S social media. Cath and I arrived early at CAPO'S. She had no idea about the speakeasy entrance which if you have'nt been to CAPO's is an experience in itself. Chicago Tommy greeted her at the door and hats off to Tommy for taking care of us. We had a drink at the bar overlooking the open kitchen which gave us a great view of the entire vintage restaurant, as well as keeping us warm on a chilly (for Vegas) night. Tommy took care of us getting our table, a red leather booth with a view of the nightly entertainment (tonight was Sage Waters, and we loved her sultry renditions). We ordered salads, Scarface Shrimp Scampi and the Da Don's Lasagna. As we waited, we caught up on our lives enjoying some wine and listening to Sage. Dinner came and we were astonished by the size of the Lasagna (most likely also used as Cement Shoes in Lake Mead). Even Tommy came by and sat down and asked how everything was - all we could say was amazing. We didn't want to leave, but when we did, we had to say our good-byes to Chicago Tommy, at which time he said- Your Bruce! Hold on! He rushed to the Kitchen to find Mel. We met Mel and thanked her for finding a table for us, and also found out that she made the Lasagna! The overall atmosphere and experience was grand, and we made some new friends. Italian is all about family. Tutto Delizioso, grazie! Tommy and Mel - Thank you from the bottom of our hearts - you made our night. Highly recommended. Mangiare per viivere e non viviere per Mangiare! Bee's Knees!

Old world flair - great experience
First time to Capos and it was fantastic. We arrived around 9:00. The atmosphere is great. They had a lounge singer named Sage on stage. She's great. The restaurant is dimly lit. To me, this was an overall experience, not just a meal. The host set the tone as we entered and were taken to our table.
The meal was delicious. We had sausage and peppers and cheese bread for appetizers. Both were amazing. Their sauce is extremely flavorful. We then split lasagna, chicken Parmesan and a pasta and seafood dish. Everything was cooked perfectly.
I visit Las Vegas once a year and have always meant to go. Going forward, I will not go without a trip to Capos. I can't wait to go back.

Truly the BEST ...Exceptional Food Service and Entertainment

the best Italian food in Vegas and the experience is unsurpassed....server staff is exceptional,,,,entertainment was first rate and the ambiance was incredible .
The good:
The appetizer meatballs and mushrooms were both pretty good.
The ambiance was great. Low light and red leather booths.
The front door was cool.
The singer and the magician were awesome!
The not so good:
The rules.
No plate sharing. Then give us a option of a smaller portion.
One of our friends wanted the fried raviolis which was on the appetizer menu for her entee. They said she couldn't order that. After we left and started talking about it, what if she had declined to eat all together, would they have kicked her out?
We all felt because of the stupid rules we won't be back because it did have some really nice things about it.
After spending a couple of minutes trying to find a way into the place...which we did....we entered through the exit. Once inside the atmosphere is amazing. The booth near the stage was perfect. Our waiters (yes, more than one) were spot on. The singer was fantastic...great singing voice and he was funny too. The drinks were delicious. But the food...the food is outstanding. I stated with their Caesar Salad....lovely. For my entrée I had the eggplant...which comes with a side a pasta. The eggplant was excellent, but it could have easily served four people. Not kidding. My dinner partner had their Italian egg drop soup and for dinner he had the salmon. He said both were excellent. I wish our hotel, The Encore had a real mini fridge (not filled with junk food,) so that I could have taken my leftovers back with me. Now, the service is also outstanding; just about everyone working in Capo's came over to see if everything was good. Nope...it was all excellent.
🙂
Italian cuisine with songstress from yesteryear
Speakeasy fun night with a dark interior, songstress and Italian dishes like the home country. We like the lasagne, any of the cream sauces and their red sauce is extremely flavorable so order extra since you will take a portion of your dinner home with their large portions.
😍
I can recommend the place is very nice the atmosphere the music. I can't wait to go back again and enjoy the food
I was with my wife the food was perfect the service excellent it was a good experience… I can recommend the place is very nice the atmosphere the music. I can't wait to go back again and enjoy the food

My favorite restaurant!!!!!!
One visit to a restaurant on the strip is enough for me, but I've been going here at least once a week for over 10 years. The food is good, there's live music, and I've been able to spot celebrities many times, although it's too dark to see them well.
😍
Best Vegetarian dishes!!!!
We live in L.A. and often come here for the Golden Knights games. We are Asian vegetarian, so we usually eat in Chinatown, but after a while we get tired of it and want to try western food. It is hard to find good vegetarian food in Vegas, but a friend of ours who lives here brought us to this restaurant. I ordered the Caesar Salad, Pasta Primavera and Eggplant Parmesan. and we’re surprised at how delicious they were. I was thrilled to find such a delicious vegetarian menu in such an unexpected place. The interior of the restaurant is also very cool, in the style of an Italian gangster. We all love love love this place!
Can’t wait to going back there.

Disappointed Birthday Dinner
We went to Capo’s for my husband’s birthday. First, we had no idea they were still doing their New Years Eve Menu on New Years Day. And that was not on the website when I made the reservations. It stated New Years Eve Special, not New Years Day. The special was a four course meal. We each had to order an appetizer, soup or salad, entree and a desert, from a set menu of choices at $70 each. We had been looking forward to the night so we decided to go ahead and have dinner. Well we wish we hadn’t. The food was mediocre, the stuffed mushrooms we way over salted, the fried raviolis were mushy and the sauce cold. One of our guests are diabetic and asked for a dry salad, but the salad with the raviolis was dressed. The salads had way too much dressing and were soggy. The entrees were not impressive either. The sauce on my pasta was watery and lacked flavor. My husbands lasagne lacked sauce and didn’t have the creamy texture you expect from lasagna, due to the lack of cheese. It took forever to get our desert. My cannoli was tiny, especially compared to to cheesecake my husband got. We probably could have fit three or four into his cheesecake. The tiramisu my daughter ordered was ok, nothing to write home about. When we got the bill, we realized that there was a gratuity of 20% already included. We were only a table of 4 and the service was not that great. Our drinks were left empty, hot plates were handed to us from across the table, with no warning they were hot and we had to wait a long time for dessert. No one ever ever checked on us to ask how the food was or how we were doing. Our bill was almost $400 (only 1 alcoholic drink). My husband compared our experience as to being robbed without a gun. We will not be returning or recommending this establishment which is too bad, as we had high hopes and had really been looking foreword to celebrating my husbands birthday at Capos.
Ate a Christmas Eve dinner here with the wife in 2021. From the outside the building looks like a closed business. Very cool how you enter the establishment and great ambiance. Very dark inside w/ live music which added to the experience. Must try the homemade meatballs - the chicken parmigiana was unreal! We sat at the bar which didn't take away from any part of the evening and our waiter Brandon was great! Dinner for two with one alcoholic drink and a water was 75 without a tip. Cannot split meals and the portions were huge!
