The food is just as good, but overall it feels artificial like someone got the rights to Carbone and tried to recreate it but failed at capturing its essence and made it feel like a chain restaurant with a big ego.
😍
Carbone Miami is one of the best restaurants in the city
always consistent in terms of food, ambiance, and quality definitely worth checking out if you're in Miami
🙂
Top notch. Better than expected.
Spicy rigatoni was worth the trip. Outdoor seating is really nice!
The service, the atmosphere, the food - so fun!
😍

Food was exquisite! Their acorn squash is so underrated side dish. Their salmon was amazing and tender, not overcooked. The bartenders and service was amazing.. I am coming back!! My new favorite place!
😒
Came here on a Wednesday night with 10:15pm reservations.
Made it before the grace period but we were seated almost instantly! We were sat and immediately were given the complimentary bread and meats w the cauliflower and aged cheese. I liked the bread. The cauliflower was okay but the aged cheese was amazinggggg. We ordered 2 margaritas out of 5 they were like a 2. The service was amazing but I'd have to say no one introduced themselves to us wasn't sure who was who. We ordered the calamari which was kinda spicy but kinda tasteless at the same time with the iconic table side Cesar salad. The Cesar salad wasn't good at all and it's actually like the one from Flanigans better! I ordered the iconic spicy rigatoni which was pretty good pasta could've been a BIT SOFTER but overall good. My sisters dish was good, I can't think of it right now! We got complimentary desert and that was okay too. Overall, I do not think Carbone is worth the hype and wouldn't mind never going again. The ambiance was good very vintage vibes with trendy music plying. And if you want pictures I made a reel on my Instagram Ashleythedon1.
😍
My favorite Miami restaurant
The service, food, environment, everything was top notch! The food definitely lives up to the hype, but also the service was truly amazing. Such a fun, incredible night

I have mixed feelings about this place.
Fortunately we had reservations as there was already a line of people at the entrance before it even opened at 5 pm. The staff were very attentive with changing out our cutlery and plates as well as replenishing the parmesan served fresh from the block. There was also a soft focaccia with a layer of tomato sauce, pickled cauliflower and slices of salami complimentary. They were good little eats while we waited for the food to come out. We shared everything including the Sole Dover Piccata, vongole, spicy rigatoni, and side of Broccoli Rabe. The presentation of the dover was lovely as they de-boned and filleted the fish beside the table before spooning a piccata sauce over the top. It was moist and prepared well. The vongole had small clams that packed some flavor along with the garlic. I appreciated the kick from the spicy rigatoni. Overall, establishment was gorgeous and ambience was classy. Food itself was good but not anything out of this world and in my opinion, not worth the price tag.

Carbone Miami - OUTSTANDING upscale Italian dinning on Miami Beach
From NYC (Major Food Group consortium), Carbone (open for more than 1 year on Miami Beach) continues to serve outstanding Italian foods, and remains a tough reservation in Miami. On this return visit, we tried some old favorites, and a few new food items: Cocktails - excellent (their Manhattan is tops!!) Complimentary breads - superb here! Cesar salad - made table-side; always excellent Tuna appetizer - raw slices w/ calabreses oil Sizzling pancetta appetizer - pan-sizzled, thick cut pork belly - good sharing item (We finished every last bite!) Double-cut lamb chops - had never tried before; must say: Delicious! Dover sole for 2 - perfect! Desserts - shared lemon cheesecake & chocolate hazel nut tort - yum!! Carbone Miami is a real treat to dine at. We (greatly) look forward to our next visit!!

I recently had the chance for a Miami dining at Carbone and it was "ok". Let me start by saying that the customer service and getting my orders were all wrong and they took my leftovers and threw it out without bringing it back out. I felt like I was an inconvenience to the staff just by being there. The maitre D was pretty nice but uninterested in helping my party sit. The ones in NY were more attentive and pleasant. The food was good some of the dishes came out warm/cold not hot like i like it, but the taste was good. I deal with A+ client celebrities and next time i do go i would want more of a class A treatment. Let me know who to talk to next time i go.
🙂

Wanted to see the difference (if there was one) between Carbone (NYC) and Carbone Miami. Great iconic sign, pretty interior decorations, well lit with large windows in the dining area. Was able to secure a reservation at each location relatively easily if you are familiar with their reservation process. The service here was a bit different than the quality of service at NYC's location, which can be expected. The serving staff were very nice at least! We ordered the meatballs, Prosciutto & Mozzarella, Spicy Rigatoni Vodka, and linguine vongole.Overall, I would return to this location and thought the quality was good!

I recently had the displeasure of dining at Carbone Miami
I recently had the displeasure of dining at Carbone Miami and it was an absolute nightmare. Let me start by saying that the customer service was abysmal. I felt like I was an inconvenience to the staff just by being there. The maitre d was rude and uninterested in helping my party sit inside after making the reservation one month in advance. To make matters worse, I was charged extra for a pasta dish that we never ordered and that I was assured wouldn't be on the bill. They told us they would "split it for us" when really they were trying to slip one past my party of four young girls I'm sure they thought they could take advantage of.To top it off, I found a plastic zip lock zip in my mojito, which is completely unacceptable. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, they brought a new one but still charged us for it!When I tried to contact the manager, Elizabeth Moore, about these issues over the phone, she was extremely rude, dismissive, and GASLIGHTING. She kept telling me that each person usually orders one pasta dish and that she "trusts her staff" over my word of them overcharging us for a pasta...ridiculous. It also took her over a week to respond to my initial email and she didn't offer any sort of genuine apology for the terrible experience I had at her restaurant, but luckily refunded the singular pasta dish. It's also worth noting that Carbone Miami purposefully doesn't have a phone number to call, which is incredibly frustrating when you're trying to address these sorts of issues.Overall, I would highly advise against dining at Carbone Miami. The horrible customer service, extra charges, and lack of concern for the safety of their patrons make this restaurant a complete disaster. Save your money and go somewhere else. Seriously, the vibes SUCKED, and the scarpese is so bad. It was literally cold eggplant with some shrivels of cheese. How they can honorably serve this to customers is beyond me...but hell, they put plastic in my mojito so who knows!
😍
Ok I officially have died and gone to heaven at the Miami
Ok I officially have died and gone to heaven at the Miami outpost of this NYC Italian Stallion. Had a dinner here last night with a group of 10. This place is so Instagrammable, but my phone had died so I have no photos to share in my review unfortunately. But this place is a "scene" with all the beautiful people - so I felt like I had snuck in to an Oscar's after party. Before taking our table we had some cocktails at the bar. Great selections of bubbly, beer, liquors and cocktails. I went with the Manhattan and it was perfectly constructed. My companion had a perfectly pink whiskey sour made with grapefruit juice. The two drinks were a gorgeous study of colors. Now we sat down and put ourselves in the culinary hands of our attentive waitstaff. It was incredible. The food just started coming out antipasti - meats, cheeses, seafood, salads, vegetables, carpaccio, but the pasta......oh the pasta. Now pasta has not passed my lips for a couple of years now but there was no resisting the Rigatoni Vodka or the Lobster ravioli. Mama mia! Then the entrees starting arriving and things were just getting started.....Branzino, porterhouse from the grill which was as good as anything I've ever had, veal parm. You had to roll me out of there, but I would do it all again tonight if I could afford it. Please go here if you are in Miami Beach!
😍
Everything was beyond my expectations.
My friend did all of the ordering for the table. We were celebrating a friend's birthdays. Definitely will return.
You could go to any Carbone location and are sure to have an amazing time
😍
Beautiful ambiance, great outdoor patio.
We were a group of 6 people seated on the patio, ordered food to share and everything was delicious. We had a very nice and friendly waiter, he suggested the right amount of food.
🤢
I went to Carbone last night with one of my friends.
First of all. We didn't have a singular waiter all night - a different person came to the table every time. We ordered the spicy rigatoni and the meatballs. The spicy rigatoni was amazing. However, the meatballs came out cold. We sent them back and new meatballs came out probably 5-10 minutes later. They weren't that really apologetic about the cold meatballs. Will not be returning.
Big hype, little flavor. The menus are so gigantic that i could envision an SNL skit about them. Seriously, people adjacent to one another could not have them open at the same time. The spicy rigatoni that everyone insisted was to die for was a bit on the sweet side and not at all spicy. My favorite dish was the zucchini carpece, flavorful complex and delicious and not at all recommended by anyone. I think the prices are insane for the meal but i guess the prices match the hype. The food did not. Also incredibly loud. Impossible to hear anyone not shouting in your ear even at the table.

The restaurant is beautiful, the food was good as was the service, albeit overpriced. $25 sliver of chocolate hazelnut cake? It's a "experience" so "been there done that". Check.
🤢
Way overhyped and over priced!
Save your money! I ate there with 5 other friends who are all restaurant savvy. We all agreed that it was not a great experience. The food was nothing special and the prices were ridiculous! The caesar's salad was $29 and was nothing special. The branzino was $135! It was not that good and not that big. A few nights ago we had a delicious, large branzino at Mikoto in Bal Harbour for $45. We went to Carbone group's other restaurant, Contessa, recently and it was much better and not as pricey.
🤮
Carbone, more like clown show.
If you're considering dining here, let me save you the trouble; don't. I had the absolute displeasure of dinning here with a group of friends on Saturday the 4th of February. To say it was a disaster from we walked in is an understatement. We had an 8:30 reservation, we were not seated till almost 9:20. While waiting for our table it was almost impossible to get near the bar or order a drink. They only had two bartenders working to service the bar itself and drinks going to the tables. I ordered a beer for myself and a gin and tonic for my wife. We did not receive the drinks till after we were seated so the better part of an hour to get drinks. When the drinks finally did come the server didn't know the difference between a gin and tonic vs a gin and soda water so people ended up with the wrong drink. Also the gins had been poured so strongly they were undrinkable. We were put at a table outside on the terrace, even though we were a party of 11. The table they put us at had a comfortable capacity of maybe 7 people at the most. We had one of our party having to sit away from the table just to try and fit most of us in. At no point were we allowed to move to a more suitable location. The night we were there it was raining on and off and were our table was placed was right under one of the openings of the terrace awning. So we were constantly dealing with water dripping on us. Again no offer to move us was ever made. The staff seemed to be lost and having zero idea as to what anyone was to be doing. After waiting almost an hour to get our table it was at least another half an hour before any member of staff addressed our party. The actual ordering of our meal was a scene straight out of the old keystone cops movie. No one had a clue as to what they were supposed to be doing. We had ordered a number of bottles of wine for the table. As soon as the first glass was poured out for those drinking wine the bottles were removed to some unknown location. They was not put in chillers next to the table. So for those that wanted another glass of wine it took an act of congress to find a member of staff to then find our bottles, retrieve them from their location unknown and then pour. The food; Having already dealt with this clown show for the better part of an hour and a half I said to myself let's keep the food simple, nothing crazy, just simple hopefully increasing my chances of actually getting some sort of value out of the experience. Nope, wrong again! I ordered the ceaser salad, I could have bought a better one from Publix. The salad was literally just some chopped up lettuce with what looked like store bought parmesan cheese. I didn't see nor tasted any sort o ceaser dressing. And it was severed on the same plate I used for my bread. So a fifth rate salad on a dirty plate. Great! So much for keeping it simple. As a main course I had the ribeye steak with Diana sauce temp medium rare. Medium rear turned into well done, the steak was literally grey on the inside and the Diana sauce had the consistency and taste of burnt motor oil. Needless to say it was in eatable. I have been told by many that this restaurant is the place to see and be seen now in Miami, but honestly what's the point of being seeing and being seen in a place where the staff have zero clue as to what to when it comes to service and the chefs can't produce even the simplest of food? It's beyond me. So my rating on this place is zero stars, I'd give them a negative star rating if it was possible and my advice to anyone thinking of going is a simple DON'T! Stay at home order some takeout, I promise you the food and service will be miles better than this clown show. Medium rear turned out to be well done, the steak was literally grey on the inside and the Diana sauce had the consistency and taste of burnt motor oil.
Second time at Carbone and the food was still consistently good. The hard sell of all the specials is a bit stressful but the staff is polite and the service is very good. The tables are well spread apart and comfortable. The atmosphere was nice and not too loud. The table side Caesar was delicious. Portions are big and great for sharing. The pasta with vodka sauce is excellent as is the veal Parmesan. Not easy to get a table.
One of the best meals I’ve had in my life. Service was impeccable, we were seated immediately upon arrival and completely taken care of all night. Beautiful setting with perfect music and ambience. Food was out of this world good — the spicy rigatoni is famous for a reason! Drinks were strong and the dessert tray finished off a perfect evening. Wish we could eat here every night!

New Years night celebration
1/5 by 👻
@Hay on 01/01/2023
We approached 2 times by one of managers to move from our table after we finished our dinner, reason was that they had people at bar waiting for tables and they were short on tables, totally unacceptable. This table was booked month ago for our new years celebration, they were short of serving champagnes for new year’s celebration. Servers were good and service was good as well, they ruined our night. No more

Disappointing Birthday Dinner
Terrible service, lacked any attention to detail. Once you order, your waiter will ignore you for the rest of the meal and you are left with the inexperienced staff.
The carbone experience is great from start to finish! The best way to get a reservation is on appointment trader
🙂
Trendy Italian restaurant
We love Carbone , both NY & Miami We order the same food all the time , pasta , sea food , salads , enjoying it a lot Last week , frat time , we were with friends that wanted meat , first time we ordered the Veal Parmesan and a steak , both were disappointing , over cooked , and salty , pity We will never order meat again and stick to our sea food there, service was amazing , atmosphere , crowd too
We really enjoyed the food. I regret it is very noisy and, quite frankly, a little dark.
Highly recommend stopping by. All my friends love Carbone Miami Beach

The food is delicious, but the portions lol omg the portions are laughable. I still cannot believe we paid $48 for 6 pieces of ravioli and $33 each (3 of us) for a SIDE PLATE of spicy rigatoni. I guess this is what you should expect when you go to Miami Beach. I understand some restaurants recommend splitting FULL size plates, but if 3 people order their own plate of something it should not be split into smaller portions and charged the full price. Absolutely ridiculous. Definitely do not need to go back to this hyped up restaurant. I'd rather go to Luca Osteria (10/10) 100 times than come back here again. Also, I'm not sure if the service was bad because the waiter got visibly upset and confused when we didn't want to share plates, but it was definitely nowhere near what it should've been for a restaurant like this.
🤮
This place very clearly pays for reviews.
Or it's a bunch of out of towners that don't know better. Hard pass. Plenty of other places with better EVERYTHING.

After months of waiting for a reasonable reservation we finally got in to carbone. The waiter kept insisting that three couples share one plate of rigatoni and after seeing the photos I am 100% certain he split one plate three ways while stillCharging us for 3 dishes. Same with the lobster ravioli , unless each plate comes with 3.5 raviolis. Dessert was the only thing worth the money. Service was lack luster and overall inattentive. What a very huge very expensive disappointment. Take your money elsewhere (ie luca osteria, Christys steakhouse , prime Italian)

Carbone is a Michelin Star Italian restaurant founded by
Carbone is a Michelin Star Italian restaurant founded by Mario Carbone, Rich Torrisi, and Jeff Zalaznic in 2013 in Greenwich Village.. It opened in the spot in New York that was previously occupied by the 90 year old Rocco Restaurant, Carbone was modeled after the kind of mid century Italian restaurants that were popular in New York. Carbone is operated by Major Food Group along with Carbone Vino, Crown Club, Contessa, Dirty French, Dirty French Steakhouse, The Flamingo Grill, Hasalon, Parm, Sadelle's, The Grill, The Lobster Club, The Pool, ZZ's Clam Bar, and ZZ's Club. . You will find Carbone Miami in the South of Fifth neighborhood in South Beach. it is located between two iconic Miami restaurants, Joe's Stone Crab and Prime 112. For the opening of Carbone Miami, Jeff Zalaznic moved to Miami and the owners partnered with local Alex Pirez.Ever since Carbone opened in January of 2021, my friend and I wanted to come for dinner. We talked about it forever but you have to make a reservation a month in advance and I'm more of an adventurer who just eats wherever I land. When you make your reservation they ask if you want to dine inside or on the patio and then they take your credit card number and if you cancel too close to your reservation date you are subject to a $50 charge Some things are worth planning for however and we set a date and made it happen. Parking in this part of South Beach is really difficult. After fruitlessly looking for a parking spot and getting stressed out we ended up valet parking. As soon as we stepped inside all the tension melted away. I love the opulent dark paneled walls, curtains, and elegant chandeliers. Carbone aims to please you and we were well taken care of from start to finish. We discussed the menu before arriving and we had in mind what we wanted to order. Menu items are under the categories of antipasti, zuppa e insalate, macaroni, pesci, carni, and contorni, Popular menu items from New York include veal chop parmesan, octopus pizzaiolo, linguine vongole and a porterhouse steak. In addition to the Carbone standards a few dishes were created just for Florida like the scallop crudo with pistachio and key lime and stone crab knuckle sandwiches Prices are what I would consider expensive. For instance a veal marsala at $95 is the most expensive item but most courses are between $30 and $50. As soon as you sit down at your table they start feeding you complimentary prosciutto, salami, two kinds of bread, marinated cauliflower and fresh cut Parmesan all of which were delightful. For our meal my friend and I decided to share their assorted baked clams prepared three ways ($35) and their famous spicy rigatoni vodka ($32). The clams were delicious but tiny and at $4 a piece maybe not worth it. The spicy rigatoni however was a revelation. The firm bite of the pasta and the slightly sweet sauce were swoon inducing. In between our courses the bread crumbs were removed from the table. We finished our meal by sharing a huge slice of the coconut lime chiffon cake ($19) that was created just for Miami Carbone. it wasn't overly sweet but packed with flavor from the lime curd in the layers. Complimentary Italian rainbow cookies were brought with our check. On the way out we made sure to indulge in a few of their Italian chocolates. It was a lot of work to get to Carbone between the reservation, driving, and parking but I think it was worth it. It was definitely an experience I will remember. The restaurant is exquisite and the service top notch. All of our dishes were paced perfectly. I am glad I can finally say I dined at Carbone.
Really bad personnel. The hostess name DE really unprofessional and the manager as well as he did not want to take notice of the way the hostess was treating us when I asked if they can change us from patio to the inside as the restaurant had tables empty inside. The food is really average and the service is ok. This restaurant is really average.
😍
Carbone lives up to the hype.
Excellence in service & food quality. Expensive. Cocktails are tasty & strong. Octopus, shrimp scampi, & veal marsala were the standouts for us. Great experience & recommended for a special occasion.

Great service, great drinks, great atmosphere, and most importantly great food.

First time eating at Carbone Miami.
Everything was delicious. Definitely order the caparese salad & spicy rigatoni vodka again. The chicken scarpariello was also surprisingly good. Would definitely come back!

Exceptional service(10/10), Food was great but slightly overrated. (8/10) ,Ambiance (10/10). Great spot for date nights or to celebrate a special occasion
Have been to Carbones several times and have enjoyed each meal. loved the "better wines" selection and the breads are fabulous (as someone who is not a bread eater) . Food is "real Italian" - no Jar sauce here. Going there again shortly - love it that much !

Absolutely astonishing! Every noodle simply melted in my mouth. The lobster ravioli had large pieces of lobster and a mouth-watering sauce. I didn't take a picture of the rigatoni because I ate it before thinking to do so. The ambiance is wonderful. Dessert delicacies. My only disappointment is that there wasn't any type of fan outside while eating in 90 degree Miami heat and humidity.
The absolute worst experience! You really would have to have no knowledge of what a good restaurant is to repeat this one. First, we arrived for our reservation, and it was very early, so it was completely empty. Only one other table seated. My husband dropped us off and went to park. They would not seat us until he arrived back. I spoke with the manager and said I understood the policy if it was later, but he was parking, it was absolutely empty, why have us wait standing at the door. He very condescendingly said he would talk to the ladies in the front but maybe my husband would show up in the meantime. He never sat us despite it being totally empty. That really what the attitude the entire dinner. Then, we wanted to order some appetizers. The waitress would not take the order until we had the entire order. Everything we asked for, the answer was “corporate has these rules”. Horrible, a restaurant run by “corporate”. So, we ordered. My appetizer came alone, none of the others arrived. I finished it before the other appetizers came. The appetizer was the special of the day. It was a crudo swimming in olive oil and for the small price of 42 dollars. (I did not know the price because none of the appetizers listed were in this price range). I ordered a drink. I finished the meal and had to remind the person three times before it came. The napkin was dirty when we sat, we had to change it. My son ordered the meat, which costs 92 dollars. It was swimming in a type of bbq sauce. For a teenager to not be able to even eat the steak! We wanted to give the manager feedback, so we asked for the manager before we left. We got a different one this time. We told her about our experience. She said she could do little about it. It was corporate rules. That they were really not a Michelin star restaurant (no kidding!). That they were more about volume. There you have it. If you want a restaurant focused on volume with inedible expensive food and rude service, this is your place. We had been contacted earlier by them asking for flexibility if they could not seat us as our reservation was outside and it was raining. We said we were totally flexible. You cannot, though, ask for flexibility and be this rigid about dumb corporate rules.
.. but this lives up to the hype!!! We were a little early and were told to wait at the bar. As soon as the bartender started making my drink, we were led to our table. My drink was then brought to the table. The inside is beautiful! The complimentary bread and cauliflower are amazing!!! We wanted the calamari to start but they didn't have it. So we ordered the eggplant and zucchini app... amazing. Delicious. Glad they ran out of calamari so I was forced to try something new. We ordered the spicy rigatoni... absolutely delicious. And not that spicy. I must say that the portions were a little small. We also got the spaghetti. That was tasty. Ended with carrot cake dessert! I'm not a fan of the ginger ice cream... but the cake was moist! Perfect amount of walnuts and frosting. Lastly... the service was top notch. An amazing experience. Can't wait to go back.
The restaurant has a chill vibe and the workers are friendly. I recommend trying the beet salad, the spicy rigatoni alla vodka pasta, ceaser salad :)
🤢
More hype than substance
This place is full of hype and anticipation however it is mediocre at best. They force you to eat outside in the heat when all tables inside are empty. Even the staff commented how unnecessary to do this. Many more options in Miami that are way better for the value and the experience.
🤮
Pretentious, overpriced attempt at high end Italian cuisine
Pretentious, overpriced attempt at high end Italian cuisine. Hostess and staff incredibly rude and prutentious. Ambitious attempt to set a dress code outside the cesspool of Miami's weed aroma and homeless shelters. Terrible restaurant. Remove girls at the door and replace with proper staff with manners and guest service training.
😍
Indulging your taste buds!
This place is a must! The food is incredibly delicious! I visited it yesterday and would love to try again today! The spicy rigatoni, dover piccata & ragu tortellinis were nothing short of AMAZING!
