I liked Carbone. I did expect it to be a bit better than it was considering the difficulty in securing a reservation & in regards to all the hype they get. Nonetheless, it is good and worthy of going back. With all of the restaurants in the city I would rather keep trying new places though. I do absolutely love their bread!!!

Carbone was ok. I like the bread and the cheese they gave before the meal. I did try the spicy rigatoni and it was fine, but it was still just rigatoni. I’d go back but only as a favor to someone who wanted to go & hadn’t been there before. It’s not really a “go out of your way” type place in my eyes.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
