My friend and I dined at Casa Madera and we had the best dining experience ever. We ordered 3 apps, 2 entrees, and 1 dessert and lemme tell you...10s across the board. THEY WERE ALL SOOOO GOOD. No misses whatsoever. Our drinks were also delishh. Our server was Kayla and her service was perfect!!!! She was SO friendly and made us feel very comfortable, not overbearing at all. All servers should be like Kayla!! Everything about our experience was perfect. The food was amazing and the ambiance was a 10/10. I'm gonna be dreaming about this place until I come back.

. this place looks like it was ripped out of Tulum. It's bright, airy and full of vibes. There are plants everywhere, big HUGE windows that let you fondle the city with your eyes, and the service is impeccable. I wish I could tell you my waiters name but I feel like every employee there worked for me. I mean that in the best way possible. You didn't see the bottom of any glass because they were right there to pour it for you, and my goodness are they fast. And it was almost always a new face! At one time I actually checked beneath the table for buttons because the timing between my request and having it met was literally 3 seconds. So onto the food, definitely get some tacos. I tried the Tiger Shrimp Tacos and was pleased. The hummus was also divine, along with the garlic naan they serve it with. We ended up getting an extra order of the bread because they gave you so much hummus. The drink menu was also extremely charming and very artistic. Some drinks come with smoke, fog, fragrance .. a whole experience! The drink I tried was good but not great. I didn't try a variety of drinks so I'm eager to explore what they offer. The entrees and desserts look like they don't disappoint. What they may lack in flavor (drinks) they make up for in service and ambiance. Next time I come back I'm bringing my dinner appetite. I definitely enjoyed my experience here.

The worst customer service I have experienced while dining in Los Angeles. Our reservation was for 7:45pm and we weren't seated till 8:30. We ordered 3 drinks and they didn't come out till 9. By this time we had placed our entire dinner order and by 9:20 we hadn't even received our appetizer a simple plate of hummus. We were seated in the back corner of the restaurant so we didn't even get to experience the ambiance that we specifically went for. I have dined at so many high end restaurants in LA and was very much looking forward to this experience given the golden reviews. The two stars are for the drinks, they were great. We ended up leaving at 9:30 because none of our food had come out and we had a show to catch at 10. Absolutely ridiculous.

Come on over!!! And when you do, ask to be in Liza's section! She is very knowledgeable, and made some really solid suggestions, paired with such a fun time! We had the hummus, hamachi, and Kobe based on her recommendations, and you can't go wrong! She also recommend the ribeye, and honestly really just took in who we were and our needs and really tailored such a wonderful dining experience from there. This is definitely a place that dine and she is such an amazing server that took our experience to a whole other level! Super grateful! Thank you Liza! Also my friend was super annoying and she handled him magically!

This hotel is beautiful and is in fantastic location. It's in walking distance of great restaurants like Le Petit Four, Sunset Grill Hollywood, Bossa Nova.. So you have easy access to food & drinks. The hotel has an amazing cocktail lounge inside with delicious cocktails and foods. It has a beautiful gift shop next to the cocktail lounge. Excellent customer service! Diana at the gift shop was very friendly, professional and helpful. I was going to an event and i didn't like how my hair looked, she helped me pick the cutest vintage hair scarf which made me look amazing, I kept getting compliments the whole night. To summarize, 1 Hotel has a lot to offer! I look forward to staying at 1 Hotel again on my next visit to LA!

5 stars all the way - from Food, Ambience and customer service. I love the decor- outdoor-ish but not really. Saturday night was definitely happening. The vibe is beautiful people -lively and a bit on the louder side. The food is awesome. We had the striped bass, the steak taco, the hamachi Serrano, the oysters on the half shell, the albondigas - all were so flavorful. The cocktail selection was superb. The sommelier - James Hernandez was super helpful and patient with our cocktails and wine. I went with whatever he recommend and it was so awesome. The presentation is a must. I definitely recommend this place and I can't wait to go back.

All I have to say is don't come here for the food, you pay for what you can't have. I got 2 tacos and paid $20 for that plate AND it wasn't great. The view is great, if only you were seated at a table in which you can see the view. My boyfriend and I were the first ones seated at 5pm (when they opened) & we were also the only people there at the time. We got seated by the bar, completely secluded from the entire main area of the restaurant. I can't help but think it's because of skin color. Racism is very much still Alive people. Come here at your own expense. Or take my advise and don't come at all.

I love! Love! Love!!!! This place is such a vibe, it gives Tulum on Sunset. Although the crowd can be somewhat "Hollywood", as expected from the area, the drinks and food are amazing. I wish they would have a bigger bar area to solve the problem for "walk-ins" but since it's a high in demand spot currently, I can see why the wait time is what it is.

The food was bad to mediocre. The drinks are watered down and hardly have any liquor in them. Also, the waiter added multiple items to our order without us ordering it to intentionally increase our bill. Overall, the food and drinks were horrible. The atmosphere is gorgeous and they had a musician and DJ that played great atmospheric sounds. The food presentation was beautiful. The Wagyu hamburger was quite amazing and the drinks are fantastic. This place is definitely a place to be seen at as well as enjoyed at the bar. Highly recommend this restaurant.

.. DELISH!!!Absolutely, best service! Amazing ambience. I have been there now 4 times in the last two months... The patio area is my personal favorite, I call it the , "Tulum lounge"... And Allie Dimeco. Where do I start with her professionalism and customer service. She truly loves her job!! She is an amazing Guest Relations manager- so thorough and actually a sweet heart. We had ordered a bunch of food and I was drinking there delicious Paloma drinks. And I knocked one of my drinks and she was right there assured me I'd get a drink right away and was just so so nice about it. 100% recommend. Can't wait to be back there this weekend!

First let me start with the positives. The hotel is beautiful. Love the eco-zen feel. Decor is awesome. Now the negatives. I paid $1200 for one night with a city view. The pictures online show a Hollywood hills view. I literally just looked directly into the other tower. The service was awful. Front desk guy seemed annoyed. They didn’t have my reservation. Eventually they found it but we stood around forever just waiting while they looked. We stay at a lot of 5 star hotels (often cheaper than this) and they are way better. Also for $1200/ night they literally put us directly in front of the elevator. It was super loud all night. Breakfast was decent for the price but not amazing. Again only so so service there. I would not stay here again. I stay at the andaz across the street and the W and both have better service and much better price given quality flaws of the one hotel

This review is solely on KP. We came in for a meeting that was being held at the hotel. Valet couldn’t give us direction as to where we need to go… We asked around a couple of employees but no one had a clue where we needed to go we couldn’t ask the front desk because they were so busy (check-in time) KP noticed us struggling and made her way over to us, I believe she works at the bar, she was so friendly and courteous. She advised us that the front desk would be able to direct us to our meeting, however when she noticed that the FD was very busy, she walked over to their back office and found out where we needed to go. She walked us all the way to our meeting room! She has such great customer service! 3hour after our meeting as we are all leaving she ensures we all are able to find our way back to our cars and hoped we be back a next time 😁 thank you KP!

Jack in the valet department provided extremely helpful car service. The overall service staff at this hotel was wonderful. Will and Theo were exceptional at helping with hotel details and very professional. Absolutely love this hotel! Every inch of the hotel has such thoughtful, yet simple decor which creates a really beautiful, grounding aesthetic. Our room was beautiful with floor to ceiling panoramic windows, the most comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom with soaking tub, and shower. The living room had great views in both directions of the LA skyline, and some pretty awesome sunsets. Everyone on staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Shaina at the front desk was warm, informative, and gave us the best welcome when we checked in super late. All of the door men/women and valets were also wonderful, quick, and made sure we were covered from the rain during the horrible storm that came through.

Great hotel. The drop off service was particularly wonderful. Jack was a great driver and made the trips fun. We didn’t even have to get an Uber for any trips inside 3 miles. The drinks at the hotel bar were very good as well
