Excellent spot for a gathering with friends & family
Awesome restaurant with great vibe and delicious food. The service was spot on and friendly. The place is cozy with a truly comfortable feel to it. We had several dishes to share; everything was well done with excellent spices, lemon, etc. The wine selection was good as well.
Be the first to ReplyA great dining experience.
Had an excellent experience. Service from Corina and the team was first rate. They work well together. The cocktails were superb. The menu is served as a sharing concept so you can order as you go. Food is prepared very quickly. All dishes were delicous, if we had one small criticism, it would be that the octopus and the cavolo nero were a little too salty, but that may be down to personal taste. It's great to be able to watch the chefs at work. There's a lively atmosphere in the place. We recommend highly. This was our second visit and are looking forward to our next. We are working our way through the menu LOL.

Back again - hadn’t been for a while. What a mistake. Must go more often. A fantastic atmosphere (don’t go if you want a quiet chat), very noisy, busy but excellent service nonetheless. The food was again amazing, the pisco sours zinging, Wanted everything on the menu, so went for the tasting menu again. So many spectacular flavours - the aubergine….the corn ribs….the sea-bass. My mouth is watering again! It’s also a treat to see all the chefs working away like crazy with such enthusiasm. We were the oldest people there by a country mile, but great chats with both our next door table neighbours. It’s a very friendly place. Fabulous.
Be the first to ReplyVery Tasty - Highly Recomend!
Absolutely delicious!! The cocktails were amazing and the bar man told us all about the origins of pisco which was super interesting. The food was 10/10 as was the service - will definitely be booking again!
Be the first to ReplyThursday lunch
Went to Chicama for a lunch on a Thursday afternoon. Fish: fresh &delicious Starters: ordered them all. But tapioca marshmallows made my taste buds exploded. Catch of the day: smoothest tuna tartare, worth trying. Hospitality: high quality management. Lunch: successful Comfort food, didn’t feel like a basic place. The restaurant has a cozy terrace, so you can enjoy both: food +weather Highly Reccomended
Be the first to ReplyDelicious food in a very ambient restaurant with fabulous service!
My boyfriend and I went here for my birthday and were incredibly impressed by everything from the food to the attentive service we received. The monkfish cheeks were to die for, as was the black rice! Will definitely be back, a huge thank you to the team!

We visited without a booking and managed to get a space outside. The cocktails are great, as is the food! We decided to go for the tasting menu, which was incredible, and they even adapted the dessert for me as I'm not a fan of banana. Would love to visit again!
Be the first to ReplyNot bad but very fishy!
Very cute restaurant on the Kings Road. Dine inside or out. Quaint ambiance. Nice to also sit outside and watch the world go by.
Be the first to ReplyToo saucy for us.
This was our first visit to the restaurant and we decided to go for the seafood platter to be shared by three of us. You could taste that the underlying seafood was good, but the chef chose to put an enormous amount of buttery (lemon butter?) caper source over all the food - the meal was literally swimming in sauce, and of course calories. Why? Surely food should be served “clean” with a sauce on the side for the customer to decide? We’ll not be back. We’d rate the food as well below par, leaving us feeling queasy for the rest of the day.
Be the first to ReplyGreat value, friendly staff.
We loved this place. At £45 the tasting menu was great value considering how much some London restaurants charge. Although very fish orientated (obviously!), good variety. The savoury marshmallows were outstanding. Black rice was spot on. Punchy use of chilli and lime flavours in particular but not overpowering the fish. Attentive and friendly staff, relaxed ambience. Definitely recommended.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food, not great service
The food was fantastic. The turbot (see photo) was beautiful (£75 mind!) Grilled Prawns, Salmon Ceviche, Black Rice etc lovely. The table was very small in a cramped restaurant. The terrace outside looked much better. Our waitress was polite and friendly. She announced at the beginning the service would be haphazard (my words not actually hers) “the food will be served when it’s ready” she said. That’s exactly what happened. Not ideal. I’d finished my starter before my wife’s starter turned up. There was a lively atmosphere (or noisy 😊) but as I say, the food was fantastic.
Be the first to ReplyJust go here and eat
If you do nothing else gonhere with someone else and have the John Dory for 2. Delicate spice, perfectly cooked, simply excellent. i am sure the other fish is good too, a cauliflower side is enough. Helpful staff who understand their menu and an expert griller cooking the fish

Amazing. No words can describe how good the food is. So fresh. Amazing selection of wine. A must go. Really friendly staff who have great knowledge and recommendations on the food. If I lived in London I would be a regular.

Be the first to ReplyPerfectly cooked scallops
Me and my wife came here Thursday night. We had the seafood platter for £95 and it did not disappoint.Everything was cooked to perfection. Probably the best scallops and octopus I've ever had. It wasn't the cheapest place we ate in London but it was the best.
Be the first to ReplyEasily the best!
Easily the best restaurant on the kings road! Amazing food and service! The tapioca marshmallows are an absolute must try, as are the truffle eggs and pancakes at brunch!
Be the first to ReplyAmazing Food & Lovely Staff
I wanted to say a huge thank you to Chicama for their wonderful reception when we went there over the Easter Bank Holiday to celebrate my husband and dogs birthday. As soon as we walked in the door and gave our name, they were wishing them a 'Happy Birthday'. The staff were so friendly, we almost felt like we'd come to a friends house for a dinner party. As for the food it was amazing. The snacks were very creative and full of flavour, the octopus is a must for seafood lovers, the seabass ceviche just melted in your mouth. The food was delicious. And you have to try the churros if you have a sweet tooth. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be going back.

It’s a perfect place and amazing food! The waitress is very friendly and the dinner was perfect! I recommend the Aubergine, Padron Pepper, cauliflower and sea bass
Be the first to ReplyIncredible taster menu
Fantastic food, fantastic service, great atmosphere.
However, the cutting responses to the negative reviews are so good that I really want to say something negative just to get one.
So, a terrible experience. Lousy food and service.
Yours truly.
Absolutely brilliant!
Absolutely Fantastic! We had a seafood tasting menu (between two) and a seafood platter to share - there were four of us, and it was absolutely brilliant! We loved it. Well worth it. So many flavours, and so very well served. The staff are great. The venue is great. Not a bad point at all. The BANANA YUZU dessert is a MUST HAVE!!! Absolutely brilliant. This place I would recommend, recommend, recommend!!!!
Be the first to ReplyAverage evening yummy food
We joined the ceviche masterclass. The masterclass was very average, with little presentation from chef. The food was delicious but there were long waits in between each item. It was hard to order drinks and it took an hour to get a bottle of tap waster. The dining space was unique and felt appropriate for the event but it was uncomfortable. Cushions on wooden chairs would help a lot!
Be the first to ReplyPoor service, food OK
We went ahead with the tasting menu. From the start the service was poor and the food very rushed. Before you have finished your course your plates are being removed. The food isn't bad, but not amazing. To top it off as soon as 1 hour 45mins is up, they will basically tell you to get out. Poor service and mediocre food - I think you can easily find somewhere better to go.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful
We almost didn’t go to this restaurant because of the mixed reviews, but we trusted the recommendation of a friend, and we’re so glad we did. The food was fantastic; high quality ingredients, cooked beautifully. The staff were friendly, warm and attentive. The ambience was so fun. We had a wonderful evening, and would highly recommend it.
