Very good spot for grilled Fish in a pretty cool yet
Very good spot for grilled Fish in a pretty cool yet relaxed ambient. I shared a Seabass and a Scallop ceviche which were fine but nothing to write home about. Given the size, they are more like snacks than appetizers, making them definitely overpriced. On the other hand, grilled dishes are amazing. I shared a Seafood platter (£87) which was amazing and given the quality of the products was fairly priced. Everything was tasty and cooked perfectly. I also shared a Lemon Sole which was also grilled at perfection and very well seasoned. I had a Pisco Sour but similarly to the ceviche it was just fine, pretty much only three sips and as a result quite overpriced.Service is friendly and attentive considering how packed the restaurant was.
Be the first to ReplySo glad they have outdoor seating.
It's pretty chichi here but definitely worth a visit. I've not been for brunch but I definitely will soon. Classy service too. Though I did lose something the last time I was there and they didn't respond to the 2 voicemails I left. At least it's local so it only took me 5mins to go ask in person!

Came here with my old boarding school friend Kristi and had suchhh a fun time!!! Mostly due to us catching up :)This brunch place was nice enough, but probably not somewhere I'd necessarily look to come back again.I really liked the Tapioca Marshmallows we got as well as the Cured Salmon with grilled sourdough, avocado, and poached egg. Those two dishes were incredibly delicious!! It tasted like high cuisine, and presentation was great as well. portions were pretty small as you would expect - they recommend ordering several dishes as it's a tapas-style place. We also got the Salmon Ceviche (with smoked ají limo tiger's milk, avocado, tomato, puffed rice), and this dish was really good too. The Grilled Prawns with toasted almonds and yuzu kosho dressing, however, weren't a favorite of mine. They came fully encased so you had to get your hands a bit dirty to peel them, and had a really strong seafood smell that I personally wasn't a fan of. The other dishes I really enjoyed though and Kristi enjoyed the prawns so of course it's a matter of taste.Inside the restaurant actually didn't look as cute and fancy as I expected, in fact much less decorated and elegant than many other establishments in London. We also had to wait very, very long for our food (at one point we thought they might've forgotten our order!), though it eventually arrived :)

Everything - EVERYTHING - was delicious. This is such a wonder. Highly recommended for groups.
Be the first to ReplyWe are local and regular customers.
We tried most of the selections even their new menu and it is consistently excellent, original, a real delicacy. To really enjoy the experience, you have to sample a couple of dishes and there is a large choice for non ceviche lovers. Our little one loves this place for its black for its black rice.

Heads off to the chef! Didn't expect the food could be cooked in such a creative way and presented beautifully too. We were only here for nibbles but ended up ordering a lot coz we were just can't wait to be wowed by more dishes here. The service s a bit strange bcoz of some weird guy but we dunt mind paying another visit for the great chef.

Went there yesterday for the first time, was told that it was great but was no where near expecting something so good. First off, you'll definitely need a reservation, the place is packed. The menu is mostly composed of various tapas and a some fresh grilled fish. Now the tapas are amazing (special mention to the cauliflower, the octopus and the two ceviches). The fresh grilled fish is very good and so are the sauces but it's nothing mind blowing so my advice would be to focus on the various tapas style like dishes and order more of those and skip the fish. Cocktails were good but not amazing, same thing for the beers and wine. Overall loved the place, would totally recommend.

I came here when it fist opened and it would have earned five stars. I came here the other day and my wife would have given it one star so it's just as well I'm doing the review. The food was variable. On the truly excellent side was a plain grilled sea bream - perfectly cooked, very fresh and delicious and served with a spicy sauce that was fantastic. Also really good was a ceviche of salmon and pink grapefruit - again very fresh and completely more-ish.My wife had the beignets which she described as mediocre. We share the charred asparagus with feta and the sprouting broccoli with coffee sauce. The asparagus was perfectly ok but not in any way special. The sprouting broccoli was not sprouting broccoli, it was broccolini, and the sauce was sweet and completely unsuited to the vegetable. The service was completely disorganised. The maitre d' was plain rude - she obviously considered herself to be above working in a restaurant, with a perfunctory effort at showing us a table which principally consisted of telling us where we could not sit and not even bothering to show us to a table or give us menus. The first waitress came and introduced herself as our server but was never seen again. The second introduced himself, was super friendly, came back and took our orders and only appeared again at the very end. Otherwise we were served by random people, some waving food around not sure which table it should go to. The food was very slow to appear. Finally, be very careful where you sit - basically the only two tables the maitre d' considered us good enough to sit at were terrible. One was blocked in between two large groups which had overflowed into the space the table was meant to have. So instead we sat at a table in the middle of the room and enjoyed being hit regularly by other diners and waitstaff.A shame as I like the style of the food and it's very convenient for me, but we won't be back.
Be the first to ReplyThis place is small, so i would make reservations.
They said the food was Peruvian, but the dishes felt more California seafood. We Ordered:1. Courgette & Cornmeal Beignets: These had good crunch and the sauces where delicious!2. Popped corn monkfish cheeks: the fish cheeks tasted very fresh and the sauce for this dish was amazing, we asked for more sauce!3. Cassava Fish Bites: These i would not get again. They had too much cassava, which made the bites very starchy. i would have preferred less cassava and more fish in these bites. The bites also lacked seasoning, but came with a yellow cheese sauce.4. Sprouting broccoli with coffee and smoked chili dip: Charred broccolini that had this interesting coffee taste that complemented the charred broccoli making it taste like BBQ Broccoli with a kick. I liked it!5. Crab and Green Papaya Salad: Had Daikon and lemon verbena. I =t also had a slight curry flavor, This was delicious and i love Green Papaya!6. Blackened Octopus: The Octopus was tender, but my friend had bite that tasted a bit off...so she stopped at that point.7. King Prawns: This dish comes with 3 prawns and they are not big.Overall:The appetizers seemed to shine through more than the entrees. The portions are small and dishes are made to share. The service is only as good as the server you get. The server we started with was horrible, but he switched out with another server half way into dinner and the new server was great! The chairs are really tine and rickety so i'm not sure that the chairs would hold someone that was a substantial size.
