Bad attitude from staffs
walked in as family. almost immediately I felt we're unwelcome for unknown reason. I have to request 3times for my water. Table is sticky. Staffs are not friendly....

Clean. Friendly service. Large portions. reasonable prices. For the first timer, like me, I ordered tofu soup with oysters, clams, shrimp (small, whole un shelled). It was served in astone bowl and bubbled as it came. It stayed hot tip the end. I also ordered a combo bowl with veggies. Then came the small dishes of , a fish (small, salty and unfilled- watch that as the bones were not softened). Then there was Kim Chee, an apple slice and shredded cabbage in mayo, spicy english cucumber, sticky rice, bamboo sprouts and and a large hunk of white root Which I cantthinkof the name off hand. I enjoyed the combo of soft and crunchy, with bland and spicy. I didn't order spicy, some came that way as a matter of course. A bottle of hot sause was provided. The fact that it was brought to the table by the waitress wearing asbestos gloves caused me not to try it. A mug of hot tea given with each meal. Two twitchy thumbs up.

Let me start with the service because it was great. Both ladies who waited on us were fantastic. They are very kind, warm and work great together as a team. Their soondubu (soft tofu stew) is very good, but what won me over is seeing gopchang (intestines) as an option because you really don't see that often. Also, they provide a good variety of banchan (side dishes), including a small fish called jogi which Koreans love. It's a bit fishy as far as fish goes, but I crave it.
Be the first to ReplyBest Korean Tofu Restaraunt in Federal Way according to my Korean clients
I have been eating here monthly with a friend that loves Korean food (her husband does not) we used to skip around, to try new places but have remained here for the past two years because it is sooooo good!

We continue to enjoy this Korean restaurant very much. Food is great,, We shared a combo and a soup between the two of us and it is more than plenty. We especially enjoyed the bowel collections against one wall in the restaurant.

Deceiving opening hours. Sign at thw door statwd open until 9 PM. They apparently only take customers until 820PM. Got there at 830PM and was denied service. I would suggest they change their sign that they are only open until 830PM then. I woild have not given them any star at all, actually.

Definitely the best place for Korean soondooboo (tofu) in Seattle area. I would say it's on par with the places in LA.
My mother-in-law gets me take out once a month and I've always loved it. It was even better fresh. The kalbi (Korean ribs) were also quite good. The hot stone bibimbap was also quite delicious per my wife. The banchan are also all good, especially the little fried fish that come out.
Probably my favorite Korean place in greater Seattle area.
Warning though, it's Korean... don't go expecting ambiance or good service.
Incredible Tofu Soup!
Great Tofu soup! Brought to the table boiling hot. Rice served in a stone bowl. All the traditional Korean side dishes. Love this place!

They serve a dozen tofu soups - I selected intestine. Great broth; intestine perfectly cooked. Fresh fermented tofu! As part of normal condiments, they serve yellow croaker/ corvina. Really great fish - reminded me of sanma I loved in Japan. You eat the whole fish. Spouse ordered her favorite - DolSat BiBimbap. Was one of best she has eaten in US, although rice needed to be crispier. The separate hot stone bowl of rice was also good, except bottom rice not crispy - needed to be crispy for mixing tea with rice in bottom. Service great. Wait staff answered all my many questions. We were the only Caucasians. Wait staff also went out of way to ensure we understood the foods and ingredients.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious Korean Food!!
I absolutely loved the food, but the service is mediocre at best. I am half Korean, however I can not speak fluent Korean and it really irks me when I can't communicate with someone! The fact that they made me feel rushed from the get go (I mean they literally don't slow down for nothing) and then we could barely communicate with each other during the whole time. I would have rated them
