Cibrèo Ristorante Firenze Reviews from The Last Year
Glorious Florentine institution
We returned for dinner in this glorious Florentine restaurant after a few years of absence and expectations were absolutely met! Everything was perfect, from the classic mix of starters to all the dishes chosen, the satisfaction was maximum. The icing on the cake... a staff that made the difference, On Top Lara and Emanuele who pampered us with elegance and style. Well done!!!!
Excellent experience
After a problem with organization by email and no availability to the despair of our group of 15 people, we were taken care of by the different teams. I can only recommend this place where we felt welcome. Christina, the hostess, took care of our evening and made it an unforgettable moment. We really appreciated the quality of the food and wine. Grazie mille, see you next time no doubt.
Love of home and elegance
I went last night to celebrate my father's birthday... flavors of home and at the same time different and new compared to everything I've tried so far... super welcoming atmosphere thanks to the staff who made us feel pampered... an indescribable experience for how special
To be recommended
Absolutely recommended restaurant! Kind and attentive staff, impeccable service. The dishes were cooked to perfection. Thanks for the excellent dinner!
A Culinary Symphony at Cibrèo Ristorante
Cibrèo Ristorante in Florence is a culinary gem, offering an extraordinary dining experience. The ambiance is a perfect blend of sophistication and comfort, setting the stage for an unforgettable meal. The white glove service is impeccable, with staff demonstrating profound knowledge of both the menu and wine list. The menu showcases the best of Tuscan cuisine, with each dish crafted from the freshest local ingredients. A standout is the pigeon - a masterful blend of traditional and contemporary flavors, it's a must-try. The wine selection is expertly curated, enhancing the meal beautifully. In summary, Cibrèo is a celebration of Florentine culinary art. It's a top recommendation for anyone seeking a remarkable dining experience in Florence. Five stars for exceptional cuisine and service.
Never a timely response
Absolutely overrated, microscopic portions and very, very high prices. I agree with most of the latest reviews. The owner never responds to the comments made by customers, but only mentions the seasonality of the ingredients (and God forbid).
Excellent!
A great and beautiful and positive vibe surrounding me when I stept into the restaurant! Thank you Cristina for a great welcoming even if we don’t meet before 🤗 Definitely I will return here because of tasty food, a great atmosphere. They don’t have many dishes and what I ate was delicious:)
Dedication to the art of Tuscan cooking
The two women running the show gave us beautiful service; they were charming, knowledgable and professional; thank you! We had an excellent antipasti course that came in delightful individual dishes, each more delicious than the last. The ricotta and potato flan (light and unctuous) with ragu and grated parmesan was sublime, so I would consider it 'a must' for the next time we visit. The restaurant is clearly very well run, and the chefs know what they're doing. Highly recommended.
Very perplexed
I'm honestly perplexed. Nothing to complain about the environment and the service, but the doses are typical of a 10-course starred menu, except that here they refer to the single dish. Too little compared to the price paid. I recommend the aubergine parmigiana for €36! God forbid it wasn't made with genuine and organic ingredients.
Doubtful.
A necessary premise: the environment is well looked after, the staff is helpful and professional. The "average" rating is given by the quality/price ratio of the menu which, from my point of view, is quite disappointing: when you order an aubergine parmigiana at a cost of 36 euros, you have the expectation of putting the best in your mouth. aubergine parmigiana, if not from Italy, from Florence. Unfortunately, this was not the case: a good dish, but nothing more. Furthermore, the miniaturization of the portions does nothing but accentuate the sensation of a gastronomic proposal which, if based on the logic of the Osteria d'Italia, is a little out of place.

Prepaid Reservation Fee

When you sell a reservation that has a prepaid fee AT takes a commission on that fee. This doesn’t really make sense because it’s an expense the seller incurs not part of the profit that is shared.
For example:
Carbone NYC fee to book table for 2 is $108.88
If you sell it for $200 on AT you get $140 from them.
Your net profit is $31 and AT collects $60 in fees.
It would make more sense not to charge commission on the upfront fee as this creates a disincentive and results in higher costs for buyers.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
