Cipriani Beverly Hills Reviews from The Last Year
Unbeatable experience
Came with my husband for my birthday and our wedding anniversary. Loved Cameo so much! Such a cute building with gorgeous rooms and amenities. I love the vibe! All of the meals and drinks we ordered were amazing! Not only tasted delicious but was so pretty lol! Shout out to David and Eddie for making us feel at home, their customer service was phenomenal! They definitely made this stay memorable.
Amazing
The cameo is amazing. The amenities included in this hotel are one of a kind . The pool was so beautiful, the bartender Ed was so lovely and attentive and made us the most amazing drinks. The food was great and was out in a timely manner. Highly recommend!
Nice few days
Lovely hotel. Small but nice. Pool small but nice . Not for people with small families . Couples and mature adults. It’s Beverly Hills… Loved the be valet parking . Service was very good…. Food was great . Location good. We went to rodeo drive and Santa Monica beach.
Eddy was great
The bar and pool area were amazing, Eddy was the bartender he’s great so personable and fun to hang with next to the pool it was amazing, this was a great trip and also very relaxing especially with this heat in LA it’s been amazing, again Eddy and the service was great
Rude staff Hidden fees
Rude staff, hidden fees. They give you room credit that is fake and will charge you double of that credit by ridiculous excuses. Don’t waste your money. The only restaurant on site is super expensive with moderate small meals. Be ready to pay around 70 dollars for two drinks or around 150 dollars for breakfast for two person
5 stars for Robin!!
I stayed at Cameo for 2 nights, to celebrate my birthday. Robin at check-in was sensational. So friendly and detailed. He explained all of the amenities available to me as a Hilton Diamond member, and wished me a very happy birthday as he was checking my ID, and upgraded me to one of the Premium Beverly rooms on the 11th floor. Stunning views and an extremely comfortable bed. About 20 minutes after checking in, I heard a knock on the door. It was in room dining. They delivered me a personalized note from Robin, a glass of Prosecco and a slice of cake. That is 5 star treatment. Thank you so much, Robin, for going above and beyond and really making me feel special on my birthday. Highly recommended, 5 stars all around!
A great vibe !
What a wonderful time at CAMEO. My dear friend and I visited in the Spring and met Eddie at the bar. His personality and the manager’s guarantee of their service gave us great comfort to book there. It’s been a wonderful week of amazing service , a very chill vibe , and EDDIE is the best . The oool is relaxed, but not boring. And the location is just great ! Thanks Cameo
A laidback and fun local experience!
We're locals who swung by the hotel for the day, both the pool and restaurant for the 4th. Lovely service all around, especially the folks at the valet, as well as Eddie and his team at the pool. Especially given how busy it was poolside, we were pleasantly surprised by how attentive and thorough he and his colleagues were and how friendly and thoughtful they were--we came with an infant son, and they were more than accommodating. Definitely going to swing by again!
Cameo Hotel
I’ve stayed at Cameo twice in the month of June 2024. Each time it was a great stay. I appreciate the upgrade. The rooms are clean. The hotel is in a convenient location. I felt safe. The staff is welcoming. Aisha at the front desk was great. I will definitely stay again.
A Must Visit
Had a great time here at Cameo Beverly Hills hotel! The pool area was great and had a great experience in an amazing atmosphere hosted by Eddie who made amazing drinks and hooked me up with some spring water and some tasty watermelon on such a hot day! Thank you Eddie! The food was so delicious too. Definitely coming back for sure!
8 Stars for Robin!
My significant other Lincoln Brown & I stayed at the Cameo Beverly Hills last week, and had an A+ experience. He travels for work ~ 2 weeks per month and has stayed at 5 star hotels across the country. This was one of our favorite hotel experiences to date, and the primary reason is Robin at the front desk. Robin helped us check in, and effortlessly navigate multiple needs that came up throughout our weeklong stay. If it weren't for Robin, we would have rated the Cameo 4 Stars, but because of his cheery demeanor, thoughtfulness, care, skill, and personal touch we give our stay 8 Stars! Thank you Robin & the Cameo Beverly Hills - we can't wait to come back.
Possibly the worst hotel I've ever stayed at.
Where to start-wood floors no carpet means anyone moving around above you will keep you awake. Disinterested front desk people. Apparently one person working room service, never came back for the cart, pushed the buzzer as told, called them, etc. finally pushed out into hall. Still there the next morning. Shower the most complicated to figure out I've ever seen and I've seen hundreds. Wound up scalding myself and had to call someone to turn shower OFF. No shower at any hotel should be set hot enough to scald someone, it's a safety thing. Restaurant is icy cold a/c, especially in the morning wear a coat, it's awful. Breakfast acai grenola bowl is over FROZEN yogurt. The most minimal hotel I've ever stayed at, 2 tiny glasses in the room, no way to make coffee or tea, they say they'll give you a mini fridge on request but not true. As basic as a motel. Understaffed, can barely manage to be civil from the moment you arrive it's like you're bothering them Only the valets rushing in and out and parking cars and carrying luggage make an effort to be of service. Very few lamps in the room, only unused socket was bathroom for charging phone. I think many of the good reviews here are from when it was a boutique style hotel and had good service, before Hilton buying it
Best available in that location could be better with minimal effort
I forgot to tell the hotel pre-arrival that I didn't want to be on the Pico side and when I walked into the suite, i instantly remembered why when I heard the motorcycles go by. My premiere room up on the 9th floor facing Beverly Hills was brighter with a better view and much quieter; I liked it better and as a bonus it was half the price. The hotel is no longer up to Mr C standards (its previous affiliation) but its prices are also much lower and the hotel is basically fine. If you need an engineer to come to your room at night, they are not there even though the front desk says they will send someone. They will send a fridge to the room upon request. There is a bicycle you can ride. The breakfast is not up to the same standard but it's fine and they had whatever I wanted on the menu such as avocado, acai bowls and smoked salmon. The pool was cold but when I asked them to turn the heater on, it was fine. The gym could be really good with a very small bit of upkeep such as a foam roller and some mats (not even one of these there) and a few extensions to put on their main weight resistance machine, and for $100-200 the place would be fine. I spoke with a resident there who says they don't give any care to the gym; the front desk told me that they keep buying things and people steal them. Not true, said the resident. Valet staff is present and attentive. Wake up call came on time. They charge a $45 a night resort fee but $32 of it can be spent on breakfast or other F&B at the hotel each day. It's a good way to make sure the restaurant has deal flow because otherwise it wouldn't make sense to have it open. In this location, this is the best available. It's adequate at this price point; It could be better with very little effort, but they don't even do that. I was there a year ago and made the same complaints about the gym and clearly nobody is interested in doing anything about it. The reason I mention it is that every guest who goes to the gym that I met notices it and they wish it were better. I doubt that a manager ever steps in there.
Amazing service
The service here is amazingu! Finding a location that has a charging station is hard to find and after my car reached 1% I separately began to search. I pulled up to the valet area and after explain my situation to Kelvin, he instantly began to help. We need more people like this in the service industry. Happy and quick to help.
Not Good Enough.
This property was the previously well regarded Mr. C.. Hilton bought it recently and rebranded it a CAMEO. The same location remains, which is superb with fabulous views over the Hollywood hills. The staff is excellent, from the guys running the parking to the front desk, they strive so hard to please, and are pleasure to deal with. But there are growing pains in this conversion, for example, they put new safes in the room that smelled terribly like fish (we checked out several rooms, and they all had the same smell.) Plus the safe was not bolted into the cupboard, rendering it useless, but allowing us to just get the safe out of the room in order to remove the smell. Secondly, , this may be the only hotel room I’ve been in my life that doesn’t have coffee in the room, and the coffee service in the lobby does not begin until 7 AM, which, for East Coast Travelers is lunchtime. Big miss. Thirdly, and most annoyingly, the food and beverage is absolutely terrible. Only time in my life lemon ricotta pancakes are inedible, avocado toast tasted like a citrus factory, the food at dinner was subpar, how do you ruin pasta and how do you serve poor bread at an Italian restaurant? Staff acknowledged lots of complaints about food and beverage, they need to fix this or this hotel will fail. And very annoyingly they charge $65 a day for valet parking, I understand this in downtown Chicagoand in Manhattan, but in Beverly Hills?? where they have an adjacent lot? This is just the money maker and inexcusable. I would not return. I need my coffee and I need good food.
Awesome retro!
Hotel is LOVELY! Staff are fabulous. We got a great upgrade to a classic suite .. room 1102 .. amazing views of DTLA and could see Hollywood sign and Griffith observatory. Fab retro look and feel to everything. First trip to LA did not disappoint!
Pleasantly Surprised Vibe and Stay
Really nice, charming, historic hotel that still has a boutique feel even though it was recently bought by Hilton. Plenty to do and eat nearby, beautiful views as long as you aren’t behind the wall on Floor 2–the only reason my review is 4 vs 5 stars as I had asked for a higher floor with a view. But a lot to like! Great Old Hollywood lobby and bar area—with big cozy chairs and couches. Bed was comfortable, shower pressure was really high and toiletries smelled lovely. I would definitely stay here again!
Hidden Diamond in Beverly Hills
The hotel is old world luxury, classic design with modern twist. Service level was very good. The hotel is getting due for renovation but the high quality of the current finishes still give you a luxurious feel. I know they are planning a big renovation I am excited to come back and see it. The hotel has the only rain shower I have ever loved, as it’s a torrent of water that feels great. As a diamond member I was upgraded to a beautiful suite. Congrats to hotel team for top notch service and I ate both nights at the wonderful restaurant.

The site doesn't have resources to properly execute a reservation transfer. Some places allow it however the best bet is to open a chat on the listing from the seller and communicate there

Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
