Stopped in on a weeknight.
I had the bees knees cocktail , everything ranch salad +chicken , the French onion spatzle Mac and cheese . Everything was OK. The salad was kind of bland... and the chicken not much seasoning. Mix greens , cucumber, avocado $20. I thought the kids menu was kinda crazy with the cheapest item at $17 ... it did include a lot but still that's ridiculous.
Be the first to ReplyNice restaurant with a changing menu.
Was fairly quiet on a Wednesday evening, but staff was friendly and attentive. Loved the peach toast appetizer special. The watermelon and pork belly salad wasn't all that large, but was tasty and looked nice. Drinks were good too. The menu was creative and I like that it changes periodically. Prices weren't bad. Would come back in the future!
Be the first to ReplyWe decided to try this place for two reasons.
One the black bean burger and fresh options and secondly that the sides had things my one year old son would probably like. We were a little hesitant pulling up to what seemed like a very empty complex (to be fair it was a Tuesday) but upon entering it was obvious the place was a popular choice for many. The service was welcoming and very attentive. The food was very homemade like which is a good thing! Super fresh and the right ingredients and seasoning. Nothing was used to overpower anything. It's a cool place and I could see it being quite the hot spot towards the weekends.

We have been here with friends, for family dinners and for my sister-in law's rehearsal dinner. The atmosphere is calm and the service is great. Food is absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend Clock Tower

Be the first to ReplyI have had several very good experiences at this restaurant
I have had several very good experiences at this restaurant in the past. Tonight they had several large groups and should have limited the number of tables seated to track kitchen capacity. Staff were nice and did their best but had too much to attend to. The food took forever to arrive and wasn't really hot. I had the black bean burger which was underwhelming. Also the Lions Mane Taco, which would have been very good but was too salty. I'm giving three stars because of past better experiences.
Be the first to ReplyThis is our regular spot for dinner after dance class.
The menu changes with the seasons and Rich's whims. Great food, great drinks and great staff!! You won't regret eating here. P. S. They're specialty dinners are fun and amazing.
Be the first to ReplyIt's hard to rate this place.
Read the other reviews, they're accurate, and the reason I didn't tweak anything ordered. Very good food, very bad kitchen timing/service although the actual serving staff was lovely, just not a available/attentive. It should not take 2 1/2 hrs to have dinner (drink, salad, entree) on a Thurs night when not busy. Don't want to say more. Giving it a 3 but it's really a 1 and a 4.
Be the first to ReplyOur first time returning after Covid.
No we did not make reservations but it was 5:30. They tried to seat us at a corner table with no view and we asked to sit in a booth with a window. No problem our seating was moved. Our waitress, Veronica was delightful. She knew the menu and made excellent recommendations. Our cocktails were great! Bees Knees and Blueberry Martini. The appetizers were delicious, shrimp toast and Soup dumplings. The main courses were also delicious, Suffering succotash (Scallops in an amazing sauce) and lobster risotto. The desserts were also delicious, Linzer torte with Vanilla gelato and Bread pudding. The highlights of our time there were the waitress (Veronica), Cocktails and the Sufferring Succotash. The music is just awkward and a poor choice. The atmosphere is nothing to write home about but the Cocktails and Food are Delicious! We will definitely return.
Be the first to ReplyWent to dinner here with friends and sat on the outside
Went to dinner here with friends and sat on the outside patio. No idea what happened between a table and the chef. My assumption is one of the guests did not like their steak dinner and said something to waitress. The chef came outside and was yelling at the guests. We did not hear any yelling back at him. He then left and went back inside. He then reappeared and began yelling again. He then took the meal and threw it onto the walkway! He told the guests to leave. No one cleaned up the meal and we had to walk over steak and brussel sprouts when we left about an hour later. I don't care what happened or what the guest said, this is no way to act towards a customer especially when others were trying to enjoy their meal! No one apologized to any of us sitting on the patio. Will never go back because of that behavior!
Be the first to ReplyWe love it here.
The focus on fresh farm-to-table food is divine. My husband says the desserts are the best part; I say it's the appetizers. (Go decide for yourself...) The drinks are awesome. The outdoor seating is spacious and got us through the early COVID days. The inside is beautiful. The waitstaff are knowledgeable, attentive, and engaged. We love it here.

What a discovery! I'm in the area picking up a kid from summer camp, and look forward to dining here again next summer. Excellent local beers on tap and an eclectic menu full of delicious surprises served by smart, attentive and friendly staff. Sit outside in the evening and you might get to see the baby bunnies hopping around on the patio. Highly recommend the halloumi salad and crispy herbed potatoes - a ridiculously good update of potato skins from the '80s. Also a good place to observe/chat with locals if that's your vibe. Loved it so much I went two nights in a row!

Julia excellent unbelievable so happy and content to service us. So I had to hamburger ย but didn't like it because the pickles they were like butter pickles they made the hamburger taste funny. Chicken was good ย but didn't knock her socks off and supposedly I am a jerk for saying this. Vegetables were good and the carrots were awesome. French fries were awesome and the cheese platter was wonderful.

The food was good (all except one meal) but the service was terrible. Very slow, we were there for 3 hours without dessert or coffee. Waitress was unfriendly. Soup served with no spoons and hard to find waitstaff to fix that, some entrees early and the rest much, much later so the choice was cold food or eat alone, and the popovers were cold (yuck!). The shrimp and grits were delicious, salmon bowl eh, salads good but not huge, seafood chowder good, and duck breast good. I would return for the shrimp but will make sure to request quicker service. Could be the kitchen's fault, but that doesn't help my dining experience. Maybe they can't handle tables bigger than 4 people?

AMAZING! ย This place is incredible!! I took my husband here for his birthday during restaurant week. Such an impressive menu. I was able to perfectly pair a interesting tasty cocktail with duck. Definitely in my top 2 for the best local restaurants. That says a whole lot, being such a good cook and foodie that I am. ย WORTH THE TRIP!!!

We finally made it back to Clock Tower Grill after a long hiatus. It isn't very close to us but well worth the drive. Drinks and food were all wonderful. The Local Cheese board could have been dinner!! We will definitely be back soon!
Be the first to ReplyGood, but not very pleased.
I have been coming to this restaurant for a while now ย but not very good service. The food took very long. When my order came the french fries were way overdone and wasn't good. They also added things on my burger when I didn't ask for it. Waiters were super nice but , food service was not good. I hope it will be better next time.

If you get the chance to visit, take it! Peruse the menu which showcases a perfect variety of dishes, flavors & locally-sourced ingredients. From elk to poke bowl, there's really something for everyone. Being farm-to-table elevates the experience, bringing freshness to everything from mains to condiments- cue the butter that came with our order of popovers. These little details and attention to food quality sets Clock Tower apart. We sat outside on a Friday evening as a group of 6, including kids. We did have a reservation & were seated right away, offered crayons & kids menus, despite the full tables & prime time. Harold, our server, was patient & helpful, even through a surprise but short-lived summer shower! (FYI the patio offers panels providing shade but not completely safe from rain.) We chose to rough it & stayed put. We had the salmon w/spinach, duck w/brussel sprouts over grits, Kung pao shrimp, scallops & chicken w/biscuits. Everything was cooked & seasoned to perfection. The biscuits & grits were so uniquely fresh, it was as if they were foods we never had. (I usually don't care for biscuits at all.) The cocktails were no exception. We enjoyed the Tequila Mockingbird, Connecticut Lemonade (w/ locally sourced bourbon), Margaritas & good selection of craft beers. For dessert, we had the delicious cinnamon roll bread pudding & linzer tart, both accompanied by an insane vanilla gelato, sourced by a creamery in Dover Plains. I wish I lived closer because I can't wait to go back!
Be the first to ReplyGood food and great service.

Went and ordered the Winter Salad and 'Double double' burger. Salad was very enjoyable and refreshing (highly recommend). Burger was ok, if not a little too wet/greasy.
