Good pizza in Chicago
There were 4 of us for dinner and we were satisfied with both the food and the service. The place was full of people but the waitress Maria served us quickly and in a friendly and professional manner. The pizzas we ate were excellent. Recommended restaurant.

The peach burrata appetizer is very good and the crab pasta dish is great. Extensive wine list. Lively atmosphere
Be the first to ReplySuperb dinner and drinks
The food and drinks are delicious, creative, flavorful, and fresh. The service is superb - attentive but not intrusive, never rushing. Our highlights were the Corn & Truffle Arancini, Heirloom Tomato Salad, Casarecce, and Summer Squash Pizza Napoletana. The Delfino Plaza cocktail was the drink winner, and were several after diner amari. The only minor criticisms is the acoustics - it is loud. But well, well worth it!
Be the first to ReplyGreat neighborhood southern Italian
We were looking for somewhere to eat prior to the Springsteen concert at Wrigley. We wanted somewhere walking distance but without the pregame / preconcert chaos. This was a great choice. About 3/4 mile, 15-20 minute walk to Wrigley. Very lively atmosphere though it was packed on a Friday night. We started with cocktails and the corn and truffle arancini. Really good starter and the cocktails were very good. And then I had the the spicy malfadine di granchio. Spicy crab pasta with a long wider wavey noodle. This was great. One thing I’ll mention is this is a Southern Italian restaurant and they stick to that and do it very well. They don’t have dishes from all over Italy and some may think Italian restaurants are Italian restaurants. Check the menu first if there maybe something specific you are hoping for. This also goes for the wine. I’m pretty well versed but southern Italian wines and Sicily aren’t in my typical wheel house. I took a shot and ordered a wine. It happened to be $100. I should have done some research first. It didn’t rate very highly and I though it was pretty simple, almost like a red table wine. Not bad but definitely not worthy of the price tag. I would definitely revisit as a legit pre or post game meal. Penny of outdoor seating too.

Review is for dinner at the bar area; Bar area is open officially until 10:30 in a Saturday with full menu. The area stays open later. Restaurant is very attractive. Bar area is very large with comfortable leather high bar chairs around the bar. Excellent food. Crudo, arancini, and spaghetti highly recommended. Good cocktails including an excellent non- alcoholic option. I've been with a friend as well as by myself before meeting friends out. Very high end relaxing experience in the neighborhood.

We went here last Thursday night. There was a good vib. The pizzas and drink menu didn’t disappoint . The tuna crudo appetizer was the best thing I have had all year.

What an unbelievable experience at Coda Di Volpe in Chicago. Menu was nicely appointed , food was perfectly prepared and the service was second to none. The wait staff was so amazing never missed a single detail. It was so refreshing with most places making customer service excuses post Covid this place is doing things so right. If in the Chicago area do yourself a favor and make sure you pay this place a visit you’ll be so glad you did.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Italian restaurant in good shopping area
Great dinner with friends. Nice glass of wine at the bar before sitting down to each, very busy and we had made reservations. Very good Italian menu and wine list. Enjoyed meal, atmosphere was good and so was service. Would recommend this restaurant , popular neighborhood with lots of shopping opportunities too

Great outdoor space food and service last night as a guest at a special Birthday celebration. Look at the photos which should entice your making a reservation and also enjoying tasty fine Italian cuisine. The pizzas that we started with were also delectable.
Be the first to ReplyEnjoyable, Fun Dinner
Good place for a social dinner, good service, prices on the higher side, good menu. I was able to try a few different items, and the little sausage appetizers and Margherita and Prosciutto pizzas were excellent. A couple of items were so-so , but for the most part, we really enjoyed the food, and delicious wine. I liked that they cure their own meats and while we enjoyed the charcuterie, the one cut of bacon we found too fatty for our taste. I would eat there again!

I was not too impressed with the food here, I hate to say that but there were some real misses....but some hits too...we started with some appetizers...the tuna was good, the kids loved the meatballs, I personally did not try one...but the cream with the bread was by far my absolute favorite thing lol...i could have ate it with everything. I ordered the arugula salad, which was a great size, and pretty good....the maims is where it got ok...the pizzas we ordered were very soggy (cheese & mushroom) and I personally do not like the self cutting options...with kids not safe....they are pretty sharp. The rigatoni al la Norma was very average...not much flavor at all in the sauce...we also had the steak...the tangy flavor was ok too....the broccolini with the chicken was way too burned...the service was good, and the drinks were great as well. Located on a very cozy corner...
Be the first to ReplyBest Pizza in Chicago
This is the best pizza I’ve ever had. It’s Neapolitan Style, the crust was crunchy but perfect. We’ve had 3 different pizzas there and they are all incredible. The Calabrian Chili Oil that they serve with the pizza may be more addicting than the pizza.
The service & ambiance are also on point. It’s not the most affordable place but you certainly get your money’s worth
Great place evening during Covid
There were no tables on Rezy so we went by and went to their new "Foxhole" takeout window. We were able to get a half pan of focaccia pizza. The margharita type was great. The fortunately we tried the gelatowitch. This was the best dessert I've had in awhile. Strawberry was the favorite.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious Pizza & Excellent Service!
I was able to enjoy a night out at Coda di Volpe as one of my last meals at a restaurant before Covid - and I am lucky to have the yummy memory! We had wonderful service from Levi - who could not have been more accommodating and charming to all! The salads, appetizers and pizzas were all incredible and I am craving it now just thinking about it! Delish!!

While visiting family in Chicago, we selected this restaurant mainly by accident since it was located close to our accommodations. This casual but well designed restaurant prepared excellent food served by an extremely attentive staff. Our group of three shared an appetizer, pasta, and pizza, and splurged on an additional gelato and sorbet for dessert. We enjoyed everything we ordered. Put this restaurant on your list of places to eat in the Lakeview area !!
Be the first to ReplyNice Neighborhood Restaurant
This is a very charming neighborhood restaurant. We saw lots of people getting pizza, unfortunately I am gluten free and this was not an option. We did enjoy the squash salad, which was delicious and the sea bass that was good but too garlicky and lacking in overall flavor. It is a beautiful place that is full of families.
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful setting to match the great food
Had heard many great things about this restaurant and was not disappointed by the setting (great view of the pizza oven from the tables), the food (pizzas were great) as well as the great staff.
Will need to make it back from brunch sometime as that is getting excellent reviews from friends.
Wonderful Pizza
Ate dinner here for a business meeting and the pizza was fantastic and arrived quickly after we ordered. The staff was very attentive and helpful with the items on the menu. Will definitely come back when in Chicago.
Be the first to ReplyLovely selection of small plates, large plates, pizza...
We ordered individually for our party of four with various food allergies, which were accommodated thoughtfully. One miscommunication led to a delay of one plate. We were comped a delicious dessert cocktail! Good wine and many cocktail choices. Service outstanding!

Three of us just had the BEST brunch at Coda di Volpe. I was amazed that the Open Face Porchetta Panuzzo arrived with AUTHENTIC porchetta, crispy and thick. I felt like I was back in Palermo! And the ricotta was so smooth and creamy. Our 2 dogs were welcomed with petting and water bowls. But the best part of the whole experience was the wait staff: helpful and warm (waiter: Zanden)...and thank you to the young lady who took our order and made our pups feel so welcome. We WILL be back....often.
