Got the manchego cheese, covered in Carmel with popcorn on top. Wasn't listed as that and wouldn't have ordered that. Got the croquettes, very small and only 3. Wouldn't come back.

Went for Napa Valley Restaurant Week LunchFood - 5/5.
The pintxos were just alright. I didn't feel that the food items particularly meshed well in flavor with each other and the stronger flavors like the olive would overpower the rest. Huevos rotos was an excellent contrast of flavors; meaty shrimp, spice from the chorizo, crispy potatoes covered by a rich egg yolk. The eggplant sliders were soft, but I felt the eggplant skin was a bit too strong. However, that was easily mitigated by the strong quince dip. Cogollos was a great way to eat lettuce. The grilled nature made the lettuce softer while the umami chicken essence dressing gave it plenty of rich flavor. Chicken skin was crispy, and the pine nuts added an earthy flavor. The lamb meatballs were phenomenal being tender with no gaminess to speak of. The raisins were actually made into a delicious sauce that had all the benefits of being sweet and tart but with a sauce consistency. Toppings on the paella were excellent with the shellfish being tender and the chorizo having great meaty bite. It was a shame about the rice as they soaked up the delicious seafood flavor well but sadly some of them were undercooked; most likely due to how busy the kitchen is. Manchego cheesecakes were absolutely delicious being creamy and soft like a cheesecake combined with the hard dulce shell.Service - 3/5. There was a lot of service staff, but they seemed inexperienced and stressed. The menu is quite complex with multiple courses, and they just did not seem up to the task. It was hard to get requests in due to all the servers frantically running around. The grill was only manned by one pereson, which seemed like way too much, especially given the lack of coordination from the service staff.Value - 5/5. The four course restaurant week lunch option was only $45, which included a paella option. The tapas averaged in the higher 10s and their portion sizes were good. The only thing I would avoid is the pintxos, which were disappointing for a price tag of $3.50 each. Food was absolutely delicious, and the execution showed a high level of culinary skill. Despite the less than optimal service, it was well worth the experience, especially for restaurant week.Parking - Mall Lot (Free)

My friend and I stopped in here for lunch between our tastings and overall the experience was fine, but lacked the things that would make it categorically great.Things we ordered:*Fuet and Boquerones bites - these are tiny, but I love them! Loved the anchovy one the most!*Meat and cheese platter - this was pretty good, though, it was odd that after our platter came out, our neighbors got theirs, and it had more of the accompaniments like guava paste. *Pimentos - good*Paella valenciana - this was good, though it was a bit runny / not crispy on the bottom like I love*Croquetas de pollo - I liked these along with the accompanying grapefruitWe also tried tow of the G&Ts, and those were delicious! So, when we sat down and ordered, we order all the above except the cheese & charcuterie board. The bites came out almost immediately, followed immediately by the pimentos and croquetas. To me, it would have been nice if they had spaced them out because we basically ate all our food and still had 20+ minutes before the paella would arrive, which is why we ordered the meat & cheese platter. Overall, the food was good and I'd come back, but they should work on timing things a bit more, especially when people order a paella and will have a wait. I did notice that another table had a steady stream of dishes that came out one at a time - so maybe they were ordering one thing at a time? Or their server understood the concept of timing things out.

Anorexics will love the petite bites
My partner needed a bowl of cereal afterwards. While tasty, the tapa plates are miniscule. We were told they were shareable which meant one teaspoon bite per person. The faves were the Kale salad, padron peppers, We ordered the coquettes but they never arrived and when we asked our server we were told the order didn't get placed. Hence, we passed. Fifty dollars bought us 4 shrimp, 4 mussels, and 4 clams with a scoop of rice passing as paella. Good but not great given the price. Given all the restaurants in Yountville, we won't be back.

2/20/23Have you been to the SF location? Yes? Then don't come here. It will ruin your great memories of that beautiful restaurant (and I have many), and your loving feelings associated with the name...cuz there's ain't NO LOVE HERE.Definitely top 3 WORST EXPERIENCES in all of Napa.Sure, the food itself isn't too different than the SF location, but there couldn't be a greater difference in the caliber of their staff. I get better service from over-worked, Sunday prime time IHOP's in Bakersfield than here (nothing against Bakersfield my Bakersfieldian friends, just sayin').A few notable things:1. My kid's water had bits of vegetables floating in it. Showed waiter--he took it and never replaced it.2. Our seat was the only one not covered and it was really hot, but there was a closed canopy near by. I asked a couple waiters/waitresses to open it, and all said something like in a minute. After being run around for 20min I eventually asked the hostess who did open it then.3. Our waiter didn't say hi for 15min after being seated. Maybe more? Hell, I don't think he actually ever said anything like, "Hi."4. Table next to us appeared to have waited 30min-1hr for their next dish to come. Sat there with an empty table. I think they were on a date and maybe were mesmerized by the person in front and didn't notice until 45min went by, and given the distance between them couldn't really make out or anything to pass the CRAZY LONG TIME. Eventually their eyes did glaze over, maybe from lack of blood sugar.5. NOT A SINGLE TIME did ANY staff come by to our table during the course of our meal to see how we were doing. NOT ONCE over 2hrs. Why the F is tip required???6. Canceled a dish (Setas al Ajillo) after asking 4 times about it over the course of our 2 hour meal (mostly dead time.) Yes, I checked the timestamps of the pics. 2hrs between ordering and paying, 90% waiting for staff or food. They eventually did bring it about the same time as the check. WTF.7. After finishing all other dishes, had to ask 2x waiters 2-3x times where the F is our paella??? My kid is super picky and doesn't really like much except rice--and so he sat nearly 2hrs starving.8. They do not clear plates. Yes, this is a tapas restaurant. So eventually I had a stack of 5+ plates on the side, and no space ot eat.And the food...1. Barca $17 "bloom gin, fever tree tonic, grapefruit, juniper, red grapes & local thyme": Great fruity gin & tonic. Could use more herbal notes. 8/102. Frank Family, Chardonnay, Napa Valley, 2021 $163. Boquerones Pintxo 3.50 "Spanish white anchovies, manzanilla olives, piquillo peppers, piparra & pickled meyer lemon"4. Champinones Pintxo $3.50 "sherry braised mushrooms, san simon cheese, jamon serrano"5. Salmon Ahumado $14 "smoked slamon montadito with queso fresco and truffle honey": HOney pairing with salmon was nice, but the toast was stale and hard. 5/106. Patatas Bravas $11 "freshly dug, lightly smoked, crispy potatoes with salsa brava and garlic aioli"7. Bocadillo Cochinillo $16 "twelve hour roasted pork belly, pickled cucumber, calabrian chili aioli, house brioche": Looks like 12hrs was too long--the pork was far beyond dead and ultra dry. 3/108. Croquetas de Pollo $12 "classic chicken & English pea croquetas, crusted with chcicharron, served with cured seasonal citrus": Strangely I thought these were fish in my notes??? Well, I loved the intense flavor, creamy cheese, and pairing with blood orange. 9/109. Paella Valenciana $50 "grilled rabbit, judias blancas, roasted baby root vegetables, atop bomba rice cooked in roasted carrot soffrito, and rabbit broth": Well, as I said, had to bug them for this for 40min. Rabbit was EXTREMELY dry. And yes, I LITERALLY (as opposed to figuratively, sad I have to define this) choked on it. Sat for 10min trying to breath. 3/10HELL NO.1/5#yountville #napavalley #worstever #badservice #spanishfood #spanishcuisine #spanishtapas #paella
came here for lunch the inside was really cold... Because it was raining, the wind outside kept blowing in from the doors. We had to put our jackets on. When we got seated i asked the hostess lady for a hot water, the hostess passed by multiple times forgetting about the water. There were only a few tables inside, can't find them an excuse for this slacking service. Also when my friend went out to take jackets from his car, servers were chatting outside without checking on their customers. I was really disappointed. Food was bland.. rabbit was dry.. Can definitely find better lunch spots around this area.
🤢
The paella was incredibly salty.
The restaurant was cold and drafty due to main door being opened every few minutes for staff to tend to outside tables. Not a great experience. Would come back for the gin&tonic, but not for the food or ambiance.

Stopped in for a drink and appetizers and this place is awesome! Delicious tapas and cocktails. Going to cancel tomorrow's dinner reservations to come back here and try more! Excellent service, everyone is so friendly.
😍
I don't know how the reviews are so low for this place.
Everything we had was amazingly prepared. I was a little skeptical of eating here but we got to Yountville early for our dinner reservations and wanted to grab a drink. Not thinking much of the place, we got seated and scanned the menu for some appetizers. We couldn't pass up the idea of Rabbit Paella. With a group of seven, we said, "why not". They don't have a oaxacan old fashion on the menu, but ask for it. They do a great job with this drink. The shishitos were light and fried perfectly. The potatoes were a hit with the sauce. We saved the sauce and finished the shishitos in them. The octopus has a great char and was extremely tender. But the highlight folks, this Paella was ridiculous. We were at Zuzu the night before for paella and it was NOTHING LIKE THIS ONE. Their Rabbit Paella was full of flavor, the right consistency of chew, the depth of the creaminess that was added, and cooked to perfection rabbit. I love Coqueta in SF and it was always a date night spot for us. Moving out of the city, we missed it. Super happy we ran into this in Napa. Next time, we'll make this our dinner reservation instead of a pre dinner option.
🙂
Food, service and ambiance was very nice.
First time and not familiar with the type of food, we went with the recommendations of the waiter everything was delicious.
🤮
Tl;dr - Skip this one and go to the SF branch instead.
The main protiens poorly executed: the rabbit paella was dry and overcooked and the pork was drastically underseasoned. The service was also poor, firstly the hostess resused to seat us at a 6 seated table under the heaters because those were reserved (a bs excuse bevause we also had a reservation and there was no field to request special accommodations); secondly they had no hot water to help my table members stay warm; lastly the server was not very attentive and stayed behind the serving bar most of the time, often requiring me to flag him down or go to him to make requests.I've been to the branch in SF several times. The experience at the SF branch has been consistently good. I've ordered several of the same plates and drinks at the SF branch and they were way better executed. I have zero motivation to return to the Napa branch, if I want the Coqueta experience, I'll wait until I'm in SF.

Came here on Presidents' day as every other restaurant was
Came here on Presidents' day as every other restaurant was so busy. Our server came up to our table to get drinks quickly but was very short & unwelcoming. I don't drink, so I asked him for a mocktail assuming the bartender could throw something together- they have a full bar and plenty of fun cocktails. He said "no". That's it. Very unaccommodating for such a simple ask. The hot tapas we got were alright, nothing jaw dropping except the peppers were delicious. The biggest disappointment was the paella. We got the seafood one and after waiting a while for it to come out (says it takes 30/40 min to prepare) it was the worst paella I've ever had. So so bland, the seafood was overcooked, and it was overpriced. Would have preferred panda express fried rice.
So glad we won’t need to go the the city anymore! A unique dining experience! Something for every appetite and taste including steaks, fish, Spanish tapas and drinks. Lunchtime is slower with more attentive service. Karena is the best! The 12 hour roasted pork belly sliders were amazing! Roasted pulpo with patatas, and paella delicious; comparable to our paella in Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia. The deck is heated. Menu is the same as in S. F. but vibe more relaxing. Something for everyone on their cocktail and wine list. Large parking lot and entrance on the south end of the building. Reservations best. Salud !!

Well Heated Outdoor Seating with Great Food / Service
My husband and I went here for a light, late lunch / drinks when we first arrived in Yountville to celebrate the start of our honeymoon. We sat outside at the end of November, since they have pretty strong out door heaters. The service was wonderful - very friendly. They had good options for wine by the glass and the Championship "Policy" was well-balanced and beautiful. We had the Huevos Nacionales, Pulpo a la Parrilla and the Championes. The deviled eggs were perfect with a creamy filling and the perfect caviar accent. The octopus was so tender that left me wishing for more! I am a huge fan of mushrooms and eggs, especially with runny yolks, so I really enjoyed the Championes. Overall, we had a great experience and really enjoyed the food / drinks / being able to eat outdoors!!!
Food is way below average! Lots of oil on everything, food didn’t taste fresh. Service was very slow. We came at 4:30 at off time. The restaurant was pretty empty but they still gave us a hard time to get us seated . . I would not recommend it.
Excellent experience. We happened upon this restaurant walking down the street and we were very happy we went in. The sangria was just what we needed after a hot day walking around. The paella though was outstanding. We are still talking about it a couple weeks later. We had a seafood and a vegetarian and they were both excellent. We would definitely go back and highly recommend.
Wow, hard to believe I am writing a 1 star review for Coquetta, but what can I say. I've dined at Coqueta San Francisco many times and always had a wonderful experience, both food and service. I had high hopes for the same here as we were visiting Napa for our anniversary weekend. From the moment we arrived and through dinner, the service was uncaring and a bit amateurish. This was the only restaurant of our long weekend where our anniversary was not even acknowledged. On a positive note, the tables here are packed very tight, and so you do end up having conversation with nearby diners, which we enjoyed. The couple sitting next to us was also celebrating an anniversary, which was also not acknowledged. Clearly this is not a place to go to celebrate anything special like a birthday or anniversary. Cocktails were decent, but not as carefully mixed as at the SF location. Food was a very very mixed and inconsistent bag, but generally poor. The chicken croquettes tasted as good as I recall, but were served luke warm. In fact, none of our food was hot. Patatas bravas were hard, perhaps not fully cooked, and served cold. We ordered a plate of mixed greens, and there were a few shreds of kale among an entire bowl of snap peas. OK, I guess they are greens, but not what we expected. We mentioned to our waitress as she continued to clear plates of partially eaten food, and she said that is how they come, and the dish was not even removed from our bill. If you express disappointment in a dish, and don't eat it, then something should be done. Deviled eggs, which I love, were inedible and left mostly untouched. No comment as uneaten food was whisked away. Before our final savory dishes, our waitress asked if I wanted anything else to drink, and I asked for the wine list. The food came, waitress eventually returned and asked if I wanted anything else to drink. You get the picture. This is just not the kind of service I expected from Coquetta, or frankly anywhere. Not even a candle on our dessert. I can't recommend Coquetta, and suggest you try elsewhere. There are so many great spots in Napa. We won't return here. This was the worst dining experience of our vacation, and likely the worst experience dining I've had in the great state of California.
We stopped in here for a cocktail and were impressed by the tapas items being shared at a table next to us. We enjoyed the marcona almonds, although asked for additional salt, and the mini salmon tapas. The Trumer beer is really good too.
😍
Great tapas & attentive service
We had lunch here on a chilly and rainy weekday when many other local places were closed. We sat outside on the covered patio and were very comfortable as they had overhead heaters on. Every dish we ordered was delicious (potatoes, shrimp, croquettes, sliders, and churros) but the croquettes were the stand out favorite. The servers were friendly and very attentive. We highly recommend having a meal here.
We went to this place after a wine tasting tour. I'd give the food 3 🌟 🌟 🌟 but what gave it the extra bit for this review was the salt foam margarita! Instead of the rim of salt around it, it was done in foam instead and the result was amazing!
😍
Small Bites with Large Flavors.. Yummy..must do
This restaurant was delicious… Small bites with large flavor… very unique and so delicious… this is an absolute must visit.. Ask your server for recommendations but they are small bites… so sharing may need 2 orders… had the Bravas Potatoes, Croquette Chicken, Albondigas, And Salted Carmel bites..Delicious…
😍
We went to Coqueta after wine tasting in Napa.
We had heard great things about this restaurant and it did not disappoint. From the drinks to the shared plates we loved everything. I can't wait to go back!
