Don’t bite off more than you can chew
Great disappointment. As flamenco lovers, and having been to several shows throughout all of Spain , we made a reservation to experience a little bit of Madrid charm. We found this experience online sounded like a great option. Not cheap however having the two experiences in one ticket we thought it was worth it. We made reservations for the 6:30PM show. We arrived on time at 6:15, we were not seated until half an hour after. The place was crowded. We were sitting in a place with no good view of the show. Waiters kept passing us by, giving service to other guests . It took about 15 minutes or more for a server to finally get our order for drinks and maybe another 15 minutes to get them. I ordered cava , so not challenging at all however, they did not let the bottle on the table and they didn’t have time to be paying attention to notice when our glasses needed to be refilled. As for the food…my husband wanted to get the best tasting option and I was settling for the one in the middle. However, the waiter said will not be a good idea to get the biggest menu because they were close to turning off the lights and of course the lights went off right after he said that. We didn’t finish eating with light. We couldn’t enjoy our experience. Don’t get me wrong. Food was good. I believe that the place was just definitely oversold and they should admit the people that they are able to take care of them like a Michellin restaurant normally does. Artist were fantastic, unfortunately not able to enjoy the show as we expected…
2023 Michelin Dinner Overrated Experience. A classic Tourist Trap. Maybe this was a great place before they got greedy.
Overrated 2023 Michelin Star Experience. Show was great but dinner service was terrible. We booked the so called “2023 Michelin Star” dinner at 6:30 pm and arrive 15 minutes earlier, and we waited about 30 minutes to be seated on table. The place is very small at the entrance you can see several pictures of International celebrities that have had dinner in this place such as Harrison Ford, Benicio del Toro, etc. so we thought this place was going to be a worth it experience but the problem is that for such a small place with limited personnel attending the hundreds of people you will not get attended not even as a regular non-Michelin Star or recommended Michelin place. The waitresses were kind and tried their best but they couldn’t keep up. So we had our dinner first dish at around 6:55 and had to rush eating because the show started at 7:30 and the lights were going to be off. My friend ordered a Sangria (never my best choice even in Spain but that’s me) and they served a Tinto de Verano, my wife ordered a bottle of Cava and I had a Boulevardier which was decent except the ice cubes were already melted because it took forever to arrive to my table. I couldn’t ordered the “Menu de Degustación” because it was late when the waiter came and he said there was not enough time for all dishes so I went with the “Menu Alegría” which was “Happy” only on the name as the food was sadly served few minutes before it got dark so I had no idea what I was eating. Overall the flamenco show is fantastic but so many people in there, I wish I could take a picture to post it. There was just no way to enjoy it. The guy next to us was so tight on the limited space that we asked him to move his chair as he was back to back with my wife. The place has like an “L” shape and on the room we were there was about 100 people, I counted between 4-6 people per table and there was about 12 tables and some them had like 8-10 people. I have been in so many flamenco shows in Madrid , last year I went to 5 in the 2 weeks I was there. So I can say the show was great but not a place to enjoy. I don’t recommend it at all.
Just came from Barcelona and went to a show so wanted to
Just came from Barcelona and went to a show so wanted to have same wonderful experience as that one but with dinner. Loved the show ! Incredible talent! However dinner not so great. People were leaving courses untouched. Salmon was good. Cod purée too salty..
A very enjoyable evening
Reserved a 6 pm dinner and showtime. We were seated 2 tables from the stage. It was awesome to be so close to the performance and nice to be done with dinner before the 8 pm show. The 4 course dinner was very good, however we didn't think it was quite Michelin star rated. Recommended wine selection was excellent. Of course the dancers were the stars. Just amazing emotion through movement, expressions, sounds, color and costumes. I had never seen flamenco before and it was a kind of ballet to me. Very enjoyable evening.
A fun, but expensive experience.
I booked this particular venue to see a specific dancer (Paula Comitre) but she was replaced by someone else the day of. The food was all around exceptionally but also expensive. I chose the wine pairing for 3 wines/45 Euro and it was really the better option for variety. The place is small but not every table has good views - mine was partially blocked by a 30+cm wide beam. It seemed like a place that wealthy business travelers go to more than anything. If you want the Flamenco experience in Madrid you can probably do better.
nice show
show was really good ,performers were amazing, all of them, but food was not,i recommend to have dinner before or after you go to see the show ,that again is pretty good
Spectacular and beautiful 😍
The most spectacular flamenco! I never thought would enjoy it so much!! It was the most amazing show I ever see Dinner was delicious.
Amazing Food; amazing performance
This is perfect night out that in Madrid that everyone who can swing it should do. I highly recommend booking the dinner and the show. The Michelin stared restaurant was our single best meal in Spain (and that's saying something). You choose from a variety of fixed menus that give enough flexibility that everyone should find something that makes them happy. Service is very formal but also quite attentive and feels right for a restaurant serving food of this caliber. I'm not really into dancing or shows normally, but the talent and passion of these performers comes across so strongly that you can't help but be mesmerized.
Wasn’t what we expected.
We were told this is the best Flamenco show in Madrid. If that is so, I would hate to see the worst! It was NOTHING like we expected. First off, they cram you into tables so close together that you are continually getting bumped and pushed all evening. The food is gourmet, with small portions and is overpriced (fortunately we were able to split a meal since we had the 9:15 seating and are not used to eating that late). The waiters are scurrying around all evening, obviously overworked and understaffed and not very attentive and regularly block your view. The show was disappointing and consisted of way too much chanting and clapping. The dances were one single male and female mostly dancing alone on a small stage. Their toe tapping skills were impressive, but not much other than that. Don’t expect fancy costumes and flowing dresses. The colors were mostly black with subdued patterns. The show lasts exactly one hour. Order quickly or you will get your food after the show starts and be eating in the dark. Dinner prices start at 50 euros for a 3 course meal.
Magnificent service and trickster show
What a great night we spent at the Corral de la Morería restaurant, and what a live flamenco show we enjoyed. At our table we chose some menus that we thought were of a very high gastronomic level, and that together with the selection of wines that Rubén offered us with each of the dishes made it a night to remember. When you ask me about my visit to Madrid, I will tell you about this place and its magnificent service and its deceptive show.
Gorgeous night
My night in Corral de la Moreria was amazing! The staff is so nice and the place is really cozy. The waiter Francisco was very kind during the service. Of course, I also loved the show!!
Amazing show, good food!
Enjoyed our dinner experience. Pro- loved the authentic atmosphere and location. The show was amazing and the desert (French toast) was out of this world. Mid-Food was good we opted for the multi course option, but for the price we would’ve been better off sticking with desert and wine, or a la carte. Con- seating is tight (typical from our experiences at other location) we were second table from the stage, and the first table to the stage was literally touching the stage. A few times during the dance, her dress whipped the people in the front, once knocking over their empty (fortunately) wine glass. It was obvious they were not happy with the situation as they kept reaching for their glasses at various points. All in all we would come back again, but request specific seating and only get desert.
Don’t be late
We were running late 10 min and unable have our entire meal. The tickets said the doors opened at 1900 so I wasn’t that worried and thought perhaps they had us meet there early. Not the case. We purchased the 5 course meal but only got 4. We were seated right up front though, I don’t know if that was because we were late or not.
Cozy place
My family and I went to this place and it was fabulous. The restaurant is cozy and the staff is very charm. The waiter Francisco made us feel like in home.
Very good gastronomic
Excellent cuisine in every sense. A delicate treatment, perhaps not for all audiences. Low temperature cooking that respects the product. The show was good and the staff very polite and attentive.
I tried their 70 euro tasting menu.
The food was SO exceptional!! The service was great. Flamenco show was SO BEAUTIFUL :) A Must go place if you visit Madrid:)
Such an amazing experience! 5 stars well earned.
This was the first place we ate at when we came to Madrid! The show itself was amazing but the food the food stole the show!!!!!!! Flavor so much flavor! I can't tell you what I ate because idk it's a set menu 4 courses I believe and you choose what you want . Everything is good and comes out fast . Seating is tightttttt but you get use to it Service was okay the waiter kind of rushed us through the meal I think he wanted us to be at a certain course by the time the show started. It was my husband birthday and they bought out a an extra dessert which was so nice.
My husband and I and another couple had dinner and saw this
My husband and I and another couple had dinner and saw this show the last night we were visiting Madrid. This is an amazingly beautiful and moving show!! The dinner was excellent, too. We all thoroughly enjoyed the dinner and show and highly recommend it!! It was the perfect end to our vacation.
Flamenco - amazing Food - totally mediocre Ambiance and
Flamenco - amazing Food - totally mediocre Ambiance and all else - all right Worth visiting but I had much higher expectations for the food.
If you ever visit Spain, going to a flamenco show is a must.
What drew my family to this restaurant however, was also the promise of a michelin star set menu. Apparently a lot of people just come for the show, not knowing they're also eating some of the best food mardrid has to offer! We got the 5 course tasting menu, and it didn't disappoint. The avocado gazpacho they started off with was equally ambitious and tasty, as gazpacho is usually a tomato base. My favorite was the sea bass, since it was soft and buttery, and pretty much melted in your mouth. The waiter also was super nice and kept the wine flowing the whole meal! He even opened a second bottle for us on the house. As for the flamenco show itself, it was mesmerizing. The dancers and singers were passionate and filled the venue with a great energy. I will say, this show is about half singing and half dancing, for those that are looking for a dancing only flamenco show. Just a heads up, every day they hold 2 flamenco shows: one at 7:30PM, and another around 10PM. We made a reservation for 6:30PM, which gave us just enough time to finish up our main courses, and enjoy our dessert while the flamenco show started. So if you're someone who can't really multitask like me, you might want to keep your reservation timing in mind!
If I could recommend doing one thing in Madrid, it would be
If I could recommend doing one thing in Madrid, it would be this. From start to finish, this was an incredible and lovely experience. The service is fantastic, the servers were friendly and efficient especially considering the number of courses & people. The food was delicious, the wild seabass and the pigeon dishes were especially memorable. The show was undoubtedly the best part. The passion and the emotion of the performers made it such a moving, unique experience. This is one of my favorite places I've ever dined. I would highly recommend planning on visiting while you're in Madrid!!

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!
Super simple, easy, and fast to secure reservations for hard-to-get restaurants and locations!

Worked well, got me into a restaurant with no availability
I was skeptical, and I still don't really know how they managed to find this hard-to-find reservation, but it was a win-win from my point of view, and I'll use this service again.
Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
Appointment
I was waiting on the transfer for name but it hasn’t happened yet and my reservation is tonight , will it be an issue that is hasn’t changed into my name yet
Buyers interested in Bern's Steakhouse: PLEASE READ
Same goes for 4 Charles and I Sodi
Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil
🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🧨🧨🧨 now on to 30 mill!
Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
