I came here with a party of five for dinner last Tuesday, and each one of us left much happier people. We kept it simple and just got the Butcher's Feast. They gave us four different cuts of meat and lots of sides. Every single cut was delish, but the one that still has my mouth watering until now was the last cut -- the marinated galbi. The sides were also really memorable, look out for that egg soufflé. It really reminded me of the good chawanmushi egg I would eat from home. For cocktails, get their Friesling--they still have green chartreuse in this shortage! The server was also super nice and friendly. He cooked everything perfectly in front of us, and gave great recs and conversation. I will definitely be back soon to try to full steak omakase meal, and just to try more cocktails.

Tl;dr: Amazing experience, lots of food, good service, make reservation, secret bar We came here during our visit to NY after hearing about all the hype. Think we got lucky and only had to book the reservation a week in advance, but heard it can also be 2-3 weeks sometimes, so book em early!! We ordered the Butcher's Feast as well as drinks and a couple other sides like the oyster here. The Butcher's Feast came with four chef selected cuts and sooo many yummy sides plus Ban-Chan, scallion salad, lettuce wraps, egg soufflé, and a nice soft serve dessert. My favorites were the: - marinated galbi that they served last - mushroom (they placed these juicy mushrooms on the rack and served it to us when it was cooked with a puddle of soup in the middle!)- egg soufflé- dessert!!The meat and experience was amazing and left us feeling very happy and fulfilled. PSA they also have a "secret" bar downstairs that I'd really recommend you checking out! We were way too stuffed by the time we finished to order any drink, but it looked like such a relaxing place to chill if you have some extra time!
😍
It's 100% worth the hype! From service to food.
The ambiance is casually intimate. We ordered the butchers feast, wagyu paella, A5 japanese wagyu Miyazaki, and 2 drinks (princess peach, the wicked). All the meat are fragrantly cooked and all came out medium-medium rare. I honestly love all of the food, especially the japanese wagyu and scallion salad. The reservation for 2 people are either first or last seating and I recommend emailing them for availability before walking in. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our time at Cote. The service was excellent, and the food and beverages were outstanding. We sampled several different steak cuts, all of which were flavorful, tender, and fresh!

Cote is a Michelin-starred Korean Steakhouse in NYC that specializes in Korean BBQ. During my recent visit, I was lucky enough to have Christy join me for dinner since they only offer a minimum dining experience for two guests.Upon arrival, we were promptly seated at a cozy outdoor booth equipped with a heater for added comfort. Cote offers a la carte options, a butcher feast with set meats and banchan, or a steak omakase menu. We decided to go with the butcher feast, which includes four different cuts of meat and various Korean accompaniments. We also ordered the steak tartare and some scallops to grill alongside the meat. The steak tartare was absolutely delicious, with a refreshing hint of citrus that paired perfectly with the tender beef. The butcher feast arrived with generous portions of banchan, scallion salad (my personal favorite), red leaf lettuce with Ssam-jang, savory egg soufflé, and two types of stew. Our attentive server assisted us in grilling all of the meat table-side. The selection of meat was good and I thoroughly enjoyed trying each cut both on its own and wrapped in lettuce. To cap off the meal, we indulged in soft serve, which was the perfect sweet and creamy treat. I left feeling thoroughly satisfied and eager to return to try the steak omakase.Overall, Cote was a delightful dining experience with excellent food, attentive service, and cozy ambiance. If you're a fan of Korean BBQ, I highly recommend giving this Michelin-starred restaurant a try.

Fantastic Butcher’s Feast dinner — just wish they offered more thorough guidance
Dinner at 1* Cote last Tues night (at 10:30 pm!) was wonderful. We both did the Butcher’s Feast of four cuts of USDA Prime and American Wagyu along with all the traditional Korean sides and accoutrements. At just $68 per person, it’s a steal. I am not normally a fan of fermented and pickled, but the combination of many fermented and pickled sides with the beef was delicious. The Hirsch Pinot Noir suggested by the sommelier was also a fantastic complement. My only complaint was that there wasn’t enough guidance for how to best combine the various sides as per traditional Korean culture. The servers were incredibly friendly and tried to be helpful, but their suggestions were rushed and less clear than I would have liked. I’d definitely return. A revelation of new flavor combinations.
Food was great, well worth the hype.

Only Korean BBQ Michelin star restaurant in NYC.
Food/service/environment all very good! Highly recommend!

Cote was absolutely delicious.
My friends and I had the butchers feast which was the perfect amount of food for us to get our fill. I've had a lot of Korean bbq spots, especially being from California. However, what took Cote to the next level was the ambience, food, and service. Our server Ron was absolutely phenomenal. He didn't rush us at all, and the took his time to explain about every little detail regarding our meal.100/10 for Ron!!!
love the concept of having someone cook in front of you!
🙂

I really enjoyed a fancy KBBQ! Love the atmosphere of this place as well. It might as well be a night club The food was also great! I love high quality meat every-time! The service was also very nice and talkativeMaybe the only thing I had an issue with was that our server who was cooking our meat maybe had too much salt bae energy within him haha

I've never been so impressed with a Korean restaurant in my life outside of my mom's home cooked Korean meals. Thank you, Cote. That was a beautiful meal.-- We got the Butcher's Feast (tasting menu).

lets just say, we went their with a group of nine, service was mediocre at best, seats were incredibly uncomfortable (basically picnic tables) over crowded to noisy to hear the person on the other side of you. Steak (the draw we thought) didnt hold a candle to any of the big steakhouses in NY and the serving size was tiny. All of us were hungry as we didnt eact a lot expecting a great meal. The portions were so small and service so slow it was more torture than pleasure. As for sides, there was hardly any other food in terms of substance, just tiny little side dishes. The first course Oysters honestly tasted fishy! The cocktails were very good, but super expensive and in the end. The bill for 9 was an unbelievable $5,075 (yes we drank a lot but really!) outrageous. Call me old fashioned but you’re not supposed to leave hungry! Several of us went down the block for a slice of pizza. ! Definetly not going back!

Best Japanese Waygu outside of Japan
1. We ordered various cuts of the Japanese steaks 2. Steak and Eggs 3. Korean Bacon 4. Waygu Paella WOW, just wow… next level deliciousness!!! Kimchi took me back to N. Korea! Highly recommend any of the Japanese cuts! I really have not tasted this level of meat since my last trip to Japan. The staff is extremely fun, friendly and knowledgeable in each cut! This is an amazing place and I can’t recommend it enough! Thank you to our team (Luke and Anna) for making our first time COTE experience AWESOME!
Their Japanese A5 wagyu is the real deal - I’ve found nothing else close outside of Japan. Appetizers sides are good to very good and the staff makes it a wonderful experience - working in teams to create a special outing
😍
This is my favorite restaurant. Full stop.
It's a meal so nice, I had to have it twice... in one visit to the city. H-o-l-y-c-o-w. If you're a meat lover of any kind, you owe it to yourself to come here. My friends and I decided to go swanky and ordered the expensive butcher board option. The servers, bussers, and runners all do a fantastic job working in tandem to grill your meats for you, always to utter perfection. But the true mark of a good restaurant, for me anyway, is when it gets me to adore foods I wouldn't ordinarily eat, which is absolutely the case for the cabbage salad and kimchi, which I devoured. If you have a few extra dollars lying around, the last 2 courses of waygu (Japanese A5 and a "dessert meat" variety) will make you dizzy they're so good!
😍
Amazing food and experience
If your ever in New York try Cote steak house. Our chef explained the menue clearly and gave good recommendations. We followed his advice from the start.the food just kept coming. Watching him cook the steak infront of us was a high point. At one point we all went quiet watching and enjoying the food. It has to be good food to shut us up for once. Would visit again if we get the chance
Saw this restaurant on tiktok and their menu was such a steal compared to other NYC restaurants

Good food, but not as good as we had hoped, and a very stressed dinner
My son wanted to visit Cote when we came to New York, he is very fond of both Korean food and steaks, so Cote, with a Michelin Star, sounded great. Since we were only 2 we had to select the first seating at 17:00, but that was okay since we anyway were a bit jet-lagged and wanted to have an early night. We both took the Steak Omakase, I also selected the wine-paring. The first thing I noticed was that the price of the Omakase had increased, it was $180 when I booked the table a month earlier, and now if was $225. The different steaks were okay, but not fantastic, all but one were only seasoned with salt and pepper (I think pepper, it was in a small bowl on the table). As expected the Japanese Wagyu was clearly the best steak. We got a lot of sides, but we would have needed some help from the cook about which side that worked best with which steak. We did not feel very well take care of, as you would expect in this kind of restaurant. The wine-paring was okay, but not as good as I had hoped. Overall the dinner was very stressed. Normally when you eat in a restaurant with a Michelin star you get plenty of time between each dish, and there is no rush at all and plenty of time to talk. At Cote each new steak-dish was finished very quickly and it felt like they just wanted us to finish as quickly as possible. We ate a 10 course dinner in about 1h 20min. Normally I would have expected this kind of dinner to take at least 2h, preferably 3h.
I love to go to COTE Korean Steakhouse New York. A hidden gem! Absolute must for anyone traveling or local!
🙂
Another great night of delicious meat! Cocktails were great
Another great night of delicious meat! Cocktails were great yet again. The butchers combo is insanely filling - we weren't able to finish it all. The ice cream and shot at the end were yum. Staff was courteous, fun, and Carlos was a great sport.

My friend snagged a lucky lucky reservation for this place
My friend snagged a lucky lucky reservation for this place and boy was it an experience! It's a glowing purple hue inside, roomy cool and spacious. The service is definitely high end -- organized, friendly, efficient. Beautiful setting and aura. Classy feel but with a hip twist. For first timers, I would recommend the Butcher's Feast which gives you a taste of all their recommended cuts. Everything was so delicious and so tender but my favorites were the fatty shoulder and the marinated beef. The dry aged cuts were also melt in your mouth and mellow. I enjoyed the novelty of Korean style BBQ fusion with western style dry aging (the dry aging chamber is downstairs across from the hidden speakeasy, aptly named UNDERCOTE). The side dishes were good, particularly the green onion salad, but the variety was less than some places I've been in korea town LA. I'd come here for the meat alone, not necessarily for the other dishes.
🙂
This place was amazinggg Korean bbq.
It's a bit on the pricier side situated in Chelsea, but the quality is worth it. On a Saturday night, we were lucky we got an 8 pm reservation which they seated us timely without any wait. Parking is super easy on the same block on weekends. For 5 people, we got the Butcher's Feast, Tuna Tartare for appetizer, and a Kimchi Seafood Paella to share. The Tuna Tartare was fresh and a nice salty umami mix with the crispy seaweed chips it comes with. Presented nicely, but I wish there was more. The meats were so marbled and so buttery in your mouth, it was perfection. The Butchers Feast comes with a nice assortment of meats, egg soufflé, banchan, two yummy soups, lettuce, rice, and scallion salad - everything you need. The Kimchi Seafood Paella was better than I thought it would be - this dish is a MUST!!! I eat mild spice level and this was tolerable for me. Overall, the food was spectacular. My only gripe about the food is that I wish their banchan was a little more authentic with more dishes. Banchan is a huge staple to a Korean meal and that was a bit of a let down. While the food tasted generally authentic and great quality, I felt like the lack of any Korean staff members took away the authenticity just a little bit. We had a good experience though and would come again.
😒
Was extremely excited to try out this place.
I initially saw a feature they had on YouTube and told myself I have to go there. Made the reservation on sevenrooms 30 days in advance. For being a Michelin star rated restaurant I had very high expectations although I was left quite disappointed. I ordered the butchers feast, also an additional American Wagyu Cote Steak. All the sides were ok although each cut of steak lacked depth and flavor. The meats are cooked by the waiter and I told him that I wanted my steak to be cooked medium and not medium rare as they recommend. Because of the lack of attention by our waiter our steak was more on the medium well side which was not tender. I had better steaks are other steakhouses in the city.Overall I thought that the service wasn't up to par. Because the waiter is in charge of cooking the steaks and tending to multiple tables, the service has to be spot on for the steaks to be cooked perfectly while also maintaining a high level of exceptional service. However the service overall was lackluster, they were times where I couldn't find him. Felt as if he didn't care too much about my table. To make matters worse, I gave the server a standard 15% tip despite the service, and somehow when I checked my credit card statement I was overcharged more than a 25% tip. I reached out to management and they fixed the issue.I was expecting an over the top experience at the only Michelin rated Korean Steakhouse in NYC and ended up quite disappointed overall.3/5 stars. Average

Cote was a fun experience! The vibe of the restaurant felt
Cote was a fun experience! The vibe of the restaurant felt very inviting and it's located in a nice area. They take you to a standing bar to wait while they prepare your table or if the rest of your party was still arriving. I enjoyed a water there but the bartender was friendly. Ice cubes were cool too. As one of the only Michelin KBBQ around, I was really excited to try Cote. My party got the butchers feast and seasonal fish. The banchan was fresh (onions and okra were great) and the meat came out pretty quick. The servers cooked for us right away and the bites of meat were great, meat was tender and juicy. The beef here was nothing short of amazing, and I expected the fish to be the same. However, the fish tasted rather ordinary for the price point (~$45) I was paying and was a bit of a disappointment. Steak was great thoughAlthough the food at Cote is overall very solid and the cuts of meat are premium, I like to measure flavor by the dollar, and Cote provided a little less food than I thought a KBBQ normally would. 4/5 people in my party still were a bit hungry afterward, but everyone enjoyed the bites that they had. Also wanted to mention the ice cream at the end was really amazing. Definitely a great way to end the meal. Solid experience overall.
Shocking. Tasty. That is what I thought of every time I got a new slice of USDA Prime beef in my mouth from this fine dining establishment . The Japanese A5 wagyu was out of this world. Atmosphere was nice, however, the booths are a bit uncomfortable as there is not a high back in the bench. Would recommend 10/10.

4.5 stars. We got a reservation for dinner by luck the day
4.5 stars. We got a reservation for dinner by luck the day before we went! They were busy so we had to wait for an hour for seating. The manager graciously offered us free wine tasting with our meal!! This is Michelin star service! We got to sit in a private outdoor patio and were treated like kings for the steak omakase. 8 cuts of A5 beef seasoned mostly with salt only but were nonetheless delicious. Side dishes felt a bit like fillers but they did refreshen up our palates and balanced out the fattiness of the steak. It's omakase so we all just got a small piece of steak for each cut. The apps were amazing. My favourite was the steak and eggs! Eggs being caviar. The oyster with uni had a bit of sand in it. A must try!
🙂
A steakhouse with Korean accouterments.
Our party of 6 was waiting for one more, and were welcomed to wait by the bar. The bartenders were extremely kind and attentive, creating cocktails for those who ordered, and providing glasses of water for those who did not. 5 stars for them :)We were seated outdoors, which ended up being pretty nice. It was quite private (curtains included), and we could take take as many (and there were MANY) photos of the food! We opted for the Butcher's feaster (~$85 pp with tax + tip).First come the seasonal sides (kimchi, okra, radish, cucumbers, scallion salad, lettuce, ssamjang), followed by a delivery of meat, displayed grandly on a Boos cutting board prior being grilled - *cue photoshoot for +5 minutes*. In the meantime came more food: two soups (spicy kimchi stew and Dwen-jang stew), a couple egg soufflés, rice, and any side replenishments from the first round. Our grillers gave short descriptions of the meat prior slapping them on the grill, doling them out when done cooking. Everything was cooked perfectly, and we happily chowed down, welcoming freshly cooked meat onto our plates. The meal concluded with a soy sauce caramel soft serve, which came a bit too soft (aka melted). However, the sauce was nothing like I've tried - salty, sweet, and a great topping to the ice cream. At one point, our griller dropped a piece of meat on the table (it did not go to waste as we applied the 5-second rule), but they still brought out another piece to grill. Note to self: make sure grilled drops the meat...Overall, delicious egg souffle (give it a nice SMACK before digging in), high-quality meat and grilling, good soups, good sides, and fresh lettuce / perilla leaves for wrapping the meat. For a Michelin star place that cooks table-side with very friendly service, it's a pretty good deal.
😍
Amazing quality beef, great service, perfect environment
Amazing quality beef, great service, perfect environment for our group of 6. Easy to work with when my preferred reservation time wasn't available and reached out right away when an opening came up. Best place we visited during our 8 days NYC trip.

Cote is a Korean steakhouse and for the best bang for your buck, I recommend getting the Butcher's Feast for your first time. If you do decide on that, everyone at your table must participate as well. For Butcher's Feast, they do tableside grilling and the cuts of meat were so delicious and cooked to perfection with only the help of some salt to enhance the flavor. The Butcher's Feast includes banchan, egg soufflé, two different types of stews with rice, scallion salad, lettuce and soft serve ice cream. The ice cream had a soy sauce caramel and was really good but I couldn't fingerpoint what the flavor of the ice cream was as it was buttery (in a good way) and didn't taste like regular vanilla to me. Other items we got were the Tuna Tartare, while good, wasn't worth the price and the Kimchi Wagyu Paella, which was pretty good. We also got some drinks, Princess Peach (very strong, wasn't for me) and Sunline (really good!). I thoroughly enjoyed most of the dishes and sides.Service was friendly and enjoyable and I recommend making a reservation (minimum is 4 people). There are some tables for outdoor seating but it is not tableside grilling. Overall, definitely worth the price. 5/5.

Mouth watering Korean BBQ
One of the best meals we had in NYC. Mouth watering Michelin Korean BBQ particularly for the beef in various cuts with superb service, well thought out wine list and buzzing atmosphere. Also very kid and family friendly. Definitely book this when in NYC

Best NY Korean BBQ experience
Cote dropped several balls. But so high was the quality and taste of the food that it's still a 5-star for me. We are regulars at little Korea restaurants given our love of high quality beef and variety of banchan. Cote bested some really high competition. Too bad reservations are apparently so hard to get. So despite booking a month in advance, our table was 30-45 mins late. The room is cavernous and loud with many tables all loudly talking and sharing the food. Fair enough. We were offered a nice booth and a friendly waitress gave us an intro to the menu and process. We ordered a variety of meats and were not disappointed. The banchan was varied and top class. Asking for seconds and thirds was easy (when we could get the attention of our server). They were good about cooking the food and we delighted in every bite. I wished I was much hungrier. The drinks were good too. We are excited to make cote a regular part of our NY repertoire.
Amazing experience! The food was delicious but the service was even more incredible. Special thanks to Erin, that made our birthday celebration unforgettable. We’ll definitely come back and recommend to all of our friends in Panama!
😍
Amazing culinary experience!!!
The dinner was absolutely amazing, we took the butcher’s fest and it feels not like a dinner but a full experience - the taste of every dish is unique, the atmosphere is nice and the service is extremely fine. Highly recommend! Not just great ingredients but a full experience.

Love this spot!!! Such amazing meat and cocktails.
Their Butcher's Feast is great value. I love them for delivery too.

What an amazing experience, I was completely caught off guard. This restaurant is well deserving of its Michelin star. We ordered the butchers feast along with the Japanese Wagyu Rib-eye and every cut was perfection. The staff was very friendly. Amer was great, he made our whole experience worthwhile, very insightful and attentive.

4.5 starsMy overall experience at cote was superb - from the food to the service, the moment I walked in, I immediately knew it was going to be a good meal! Must must make reservations in advance because they fill up pretty quickly so I def recommend setting a date at least two weeks in advance. Tip: if you're going as a party of two, you only have the option of dining at opening (5PM) or closing (10PM).We got the classic butcher's feast and the kimchi wagyu paella. My favorite cuts of the butcher's feast were the short rib and the wagyu. But all four cuts were amazing and melt in your mouth quality. The sides and stews were also flavorful and were plentiful that I didn't really need the kimchi paella to feel full. The paella itself was the only thing that was just decent for me. It tasted similar to a regular beef kimchi fried rice that I could get at any Korean restaurant. Maybe because I was already getting full, but I probably wouldn't get it again. The service was top class and because it was a special celebration, our waiter gave us free OJ tequila shots on the house. The ice cream was also to die for and a perfect end of the meal. It was a very memorable dining experience that I'd recommend for any occasion!

We took my partner's cousin and her husband here last night
We took my partner's cousin and her husband here last night to celebrate their bdays and it was fabulous from start to finish. We arrived early and ordered cocktails at the bar while we waited for our outdoor cabana table to be ready. Cocktails were great. bartender made good recommendations and was friendly and efficient despite the crowd at the bar. The sidewalk cabana was perfect for the 4 of us - Spacious table, warm, and private. Our server was Kyle and he was excellent - personable, present, and intuitive. We started with the wedge salad and steak tartare to share and he also brought out the most delicious pork belly I've ever tasted, then we all got the butchers feast, which I highly recommend. It was an excellent variety of meats + sides at a reasonable price point. Everything we ate was bomb. Kyle + Paige were great and cooked all of the beef perfectly. The short rib at the end was my favorite but it was ALL delicious. In the end we fed 4 of us for about half the cost of our anniversary dinner for two at Joel Robuchon last week, and this was way less pretentious, much more fun + exciting, and we got to have more cocktails We try new restaurants every time we come to NYC and don't ever go back to the same places but this is definitely one we will be returning to and we look forward to trying the full omakase menu next time. Thank you to the Cote team for a wonderful night out!

Let me start by saying we found a metal hook inside our
Let me start by saying we found a metal hook inside our steak and our niece almost broke her tooth chewing on it. See picture. This is not something you would expect from paying $200 a meal from a Michelin star restaurant. They came out and apologize and comp for 1 person's meal. The entire table lost appetize after that and we were constantly cautious when chewing to make sure no more hook found. They really should had comped the entire table because after that experience the meals was worthless. To be fair, I'll also review the meal on the experience before we found the metal hook. I think this restaurant is definitely a bit over-hyped. It's good but not like amazing. Not for the money you are going to pay at least. I think they got the hype by cutting you all the good and expensive slices of steak. We had the outside table and they cook the meat on another table outside our tent and then bring the food to us. You don't even get the full experience of korean bbq. This feels very much like an americanized version of korean bbq. For those that have been to a kbbq you know what i'm talking about. The meats taste ok. I mean it's hard to make the meat bad if you throw in all the expensive meat. But imo it could be better. Some slices were undercooked and some were overcooked. I don't think the server was very experienced. The service? it was just ok. They forgot a few things here and there we asked them for. But they brought most of our stuffs. Refilled most of our side dishes we asked. Missed a few and need to remind them again. Server's attitude was not good. He didn't seem happy from begin to end. We were very polite the entire time even after we found the metal hook. The entire experience was not good. Maybe if this is your first korean bbq you might be impressed? but it is not how it should be done. And seriously? metal hook in meal for a michelin star restaurant?

This was hands down one of the best kbbq dining experiences
This was hands down one of the best kbbq dining experiences I've ever had. Everything from the quality to service to ambiance was impeccable. We made reservations prior to coming to NY for a party of 5. We ordered the Butcher's Feast which is $64 per person and an additional steak tartar. This was a mistake because we should've ordered THREE MORE it was DELICIOUS!! It came with refillable banchan, scallion salad (amazing), two stews, egg soufflé, lettuce ssams, and soft serve! For the chefs choice of meat, I believe we got the filets, NY strip, COTE steak, and COTE Galbi! Everything was so delicious, our server cooked and portioned out all of the meats. I highly recommend getting the butchers feast. Next time I come, I'm trying the omakase!
🙂
Meat quality itself was good.
However the waiter didn't know how to grill. In the beginning he asked us how we like it, told him medium rare, but all turned out well done. What a waste of could've been a better meal. It may have been better if there were an option to grill then ourselves and save on tips haha
😍
We stood at the bar and had the most amazing experience
We stood at the bar and had the most amazing experience with Will! Everything from the cocktails, to the wine, to the food was out of this world. I definitely wanna go back to try to set up one of the tables however on on arrival approximately 30 minutes (on a Monday) before they opened there is a line down the block.
everything everyone said about this place is absolutely true! the service, the food, the atmosphere, everything about it was truly classy and amazing. my cousins, my sister and i came here to celebrate my sister's 26 birthday. we reserved online on google and showed up on time. they proceeded us to the bar to wait while our table was getting ready. the drinks aren't my favorite to be honest (not sweet at all and pretty strong) but the food on the other hand had to be one of the best meat i have ever had in my life! we did the steak omakase and wowow, did it blow our mind. it's definitely pricey ($185 per person ; $265 if you include the wine pairing) but SO worth it. the steak & eggs were absolutely the perfect pairing. out of all of the meat, the wagyu was definitely the best - whatever salt they use, it's addictive and makes the meat SO juicy that the meat genuinely melts in your mouth. i didn't particularly like our server anthony comparative to the others (felt a bit rude, and standoffish) where as the partners that walked around and served as well (Victoria and Wesley) were 10/10 amazing and hospitable. since it was my sister's birthday, she got a birthday champagne and birthday shots which was a nice touch along with the candle in the soft serve. if you want some high quality service & korean bbq, i highly recommend cote!
