COTE Miami Reviews from The Last Year

Came here to celebrate my finance's birthday and was completely immersed in the experience (hence why there are few photos with my review). I absolutely loved everything about my experience here. The Butcher's Feast is a perfect way of trying a bit of everything. We also tried two of their cocktails and loved them. There wasn't anything I disliked. The service was excellent. I really appreciate our waiter's effort and suggestions to make our experience absolutely wonderful. The restaurant has a great vibe and beautiful decor. I would love to come back

10 star review! the food was incredible (order the pre selected menu trust me!) everything has so much flavor but lets talk about service! my server "jay" took my experience to a new level! he even got us to order items off menu like chicken nuggets! ive been there 4x and didnt even know about chicken nuggets! the bacon with the mustard & jalapeño!!!!! jay needs a promotion to regional manager! my business partner said it was the best meal hes had in a long time and that means a lot! thank you cote!

I came here for my birthday and it was fantastic! We got the butchers feast and wow was it a lot of food. Everything was so tasty. The meat was to die for! We weren't a huge fan of the drinks we got but I do plan on coming again and trying something else. I still highly recommend!
so over rated , that's all I can say .
..... service was ok , food was ok but definitely not a place I would go again

Michelin stars Korean steakhouse restaurant, very busy, It's by appointment ! Quiet romantic ambiance! Fine dining, high quality meat, nice variety of condiments ... Waiter/Chef cooked the ordered meat perfectly and per each guest request . Recommend!

Cote is amazing! I've been here about 4 times now and it's been incredible every time. The service is great. The servers are very personable and give you honest opinions on what they think you should order (don't just try to push you to get the most expensive option). The manager, Bram, came around each table and actually spent a good amount of time chatting with us. Also, he has the best Spotify playlist! I was so surprised to hear Dr Dre and Eminem being played in a Michelin restaurant but it made the experience even better. As far as food, the steak melts in your mouth! I wish I could eat this every day. With your meal, they give you many little fermented Korean salads and sides, which are unlimited, by the way. One of the best restaurants in Miami!
Very enjoyable high end Korean bbq.
Perfect for date night. Came during the week and was seated right away. Service is fast and waiters are very attentive. I was happy with how they cooked the meat, perfect medium rare. Lots of sides. Soondubu (tofu soup) was really yummy. The wagyu was insane, melted in my mouth. The banchans were good, although I think they should add cucumber banchan. Felt super full after the meal, perfect amount of food. Have to get their icecream for dessert. It is dairy free but doesn't even taste like it. Highly recommend.
High end Korean bbq that delivers well.
The service here was the best I've ever experienced. They are quick and they take care of you very well. When you first enter you go through this one way mirror and immediately greeted by an amazing bar area. The restaurant is a more dim in the lighting. Get a couple drinks there waiting for your table. Once seated, server does a great job explaining everything from menu, food, and how the overall course will go. Ended up getting the butchers feast which at first does not look like a lot of food but combined with the sides and everything it will be more than enough. Food was amazing and the quality of meat plus the service is well worth the price.
Ambiance and customer service was 10/10 without question.
We ordered 2 Butcher's Feasts and it was more than enough food for both of us. My favorite parts: - soy carmel ice cream that came with our meal -- it tasted like a perfect sea salt carmel - hangar steak melts in your mouth! - you don't cook the food yourself (sometimes it's nice to just sit back and enjoy your KBBQ) - the vibes. We went at 12:15p on a Saturday and it was packed but the way the restaurant is setup allows each party to have their own intimate space My not so favorite parts: - a little pricey but worth it nonetheless
From service to the execution, boy was this an experience.
I mean, come on. The butchers feast is an easy choice. Pickled veggies, kimchi, slaw salad, and the meats... the meats are incredible. The wagyu goes down like butter and the short rib made me feel like I was a baby trying teriyaki for the first time ever. Don't forget to add the paella and some oysters, it's just added value. Bram also did an incredible job taking care of us, especially for my friends birthday. Trust me, and if you don't trust god to point you in the right direction. I will return. P.S. if you're grabbing a drink, the extra dirty gin martini will knock your socks off if you're wearing any. I'll come back just for that.
Outstanding
Dined with my wife and another couple. Three of us had the Butcher's Feast, and due to dietary restrictions my wife had the fish main course. Not only were the main courses outstanding, but also the many side dishes that came as part of the feast were so as well. We were sated. So the food was outstanding, the service and attention was even better, and the ambiance excellent as well. You could carry a conversation at a normal tone of voice. Moreover, the value was high, very reasonable prices for what we got.
Perfect Date Night at COTE Miami
COTE Miami is an ideal spot for a date night. The Butcher's Feast provides a full experience with a variety of amazing dishes. The ambience is comfortable, with music at a volume that allows for easy conversation. The staff is incredibly helpful and attentive. The food is exceptional, making it one of the best dining experiences in Miami. Highly recommended for a memorable night out!
Absolutely delicious and extraordinary!
It’s just on a whole new level compared to anything you’ve been served before. After having visited Cote NYC we just knew we had to secure a table at the Miami restaurant too. The atmosphere is more vibrant, the service and food are on the same high level. We went for the Steak Omakase. The meat is above outstanding and should be eaten as served. The Korean accompaniments are super tasty to eat while the meat is on the grill. Would highly recommend a visit to anyone who truly appreciates top class meat with fresh exciting accompaniments. We closed our eyes to fully enjoy the meat flavors.
Great restaurant, couple of points for improvement
The restaurant food and service were great. The meats, especially the American Wagyu, was fantastic, and the side vegetables were all awesome. A couple of points for improvement: 1- They should place a small colored quarter sized disc or medal in front of each guest based on their meat cooking preference (rare, medium, well) so that the different servers that come by to turn the meat in the grill do not have to keep asking the customers how do they like your meat cooked. 2- The soft serve ice cream should not be served in disposable paper cups with disposable wooden spoons. For a restaurant in this price point, they should be served in a crystal cup with a metal spoon.
Great food but pricey
We ordered the $225 tasting menu. The meat was really delicious. The fillet mignon and the two wagyu (american and japanese) were amazing. The one meat they call the desert meat was also fabulous. Side dishes were OK. The service was impeccable. Our waitress was helpful and extremely kind. She really cared. The ice cream desert was also a very pleasant surprise. We didn’t have any alcohol, so spending $600 seemed a bit pricey even though we had a very good meal. I bet the $70 tasting menu would have been a better choice
First time experiencing a Korean BBQ and Cote does set the
First time experiencing a Korean BBQ and Cote does set the bar high. The "Cote" experience is what really makes it. Cote is Michelin rated posh, sleek modern Korean Steakhouse restaurant nestled in Miami's Design District. Its dark interior, concrete floors and granite table-tops really gives it that Miami, NY vibe. Cote offers a wonderful dining experience. The service is amazing. Our server(s) were delightful, very helpful as they explained every step of the process and helped guide our dining experience. His suggestions on meal / pairing selection that he thought we would enjoy helped us make a better decision. Although I prefer wine the specialty drinks are worth trying. Once the drinks, appetizers and entrees started arriving all evenly paced you'll begin experiencing a fusion of Korean flavors that will give you a new appreciation for Korean cuisine. Don't worry you're not doing the cooking; your server(s) aka personal chef's by some rotate by your table all working in sync either cooking, bringing new dishes or cleaning up any empty plates. Every dish we tried was very good, my only complaint was Kimchi Wagyu Paella. It's cooked in a cast iron skillet which adds to its deep and delicious flavor, however some of the bottom rice was slightly burned. While this didn't make the dish horrible it really took away from what could have been an extraordinary dish. The noise level was at a comfortable decibel, just enough to hear the music yet allowing yourself to speak with your guest. And although the food is cooked on your table you won't leave smelling like smoke. Cote is a must-visit for anyone seeking a unique and delicious dining adventure.
I celebrated my boyfriends birthday here, what an absolute
I celebrated my boyfriends birthday here, what an absolute treat! They were able to sit us down immediately and gave us a drinks menu before we can blink. I love to have a sip of something while I look over the menu. Unfortunately I was the only pescatarian of the group so I wasn't able to enjoy the Butchers Feast as everyone else - but I did appreciate that they had other items available in the menu. The only downside was that the fish was an incredibly small portion (especially when you compare what everyone else is eating). I also ordered the ceviche and Dol-sot bimbimbop but still left hungry. I think the waiters knew that I was still hungry - so they gave me a few pieces of veggies from the butchers feast as a comp. The experience itself is worth it plus seeing everyone enjoying their time... Service was also phenomenal which is why I'm not knocking off any stars.
I love love LOVE COTE.
From the moment you walk in you feel an energy or excellence. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. You can't go wrong with any item. My go to is the Steak Omakase. They also have a great happy hour menu with $8 cocktails. Great date spot and the bar is also a good spot to mingle.
Very good experience overall! Very good meat, amazing
Very good experience overall! Very good meat, amazing cocktails! I would be nice to get better lighting, at the table, it was little too dark for me!

Omg I just had the most amazing dining experience First off you walk in and the beautiful lights the drinks amazing I had the Miami porn star ( the drink) Then table experience you choose your cuts of meats we had the filet mignon and ribeye the cook it at the table to your specifications And Kyle the manager was amazing Thank you all for this experience it was our first time and I will definitely return If you haven't been go run it's amazing Neve Storm
The food was amazing.
Our server, Michael, made it a top 5 meal in my life. Appreciate you, Michael!
This is rather a disappointment! I was expecting more.
I don't even have pictures to show has nothing was impressive, Although the service was excellent! if you like people to come to your table every two minutes, I found it very overbearing. The food is very good, but quite Americanized!

We did the tasting menu of the meats (Feast of USDA Prime & American Wagyu Beef + Japanese A5 wagyu add-on). The server provided an explanation of each of the meats as well as the flavor profile. The A24 wagyu was tender and cooked well. The ambience of the restaurant felt very nice and sophisticated. I can see why Cote received a Michelin star. At the end, they provide a cute postcard of the restaurant as memorabilia. The service was excellent, and I would recommend to book in advance! This is great for a special occasion (definitely on the pricier end). They do offer happy hour deal at the bar if you want to try some of their foods without committing to the full menu.
One of the best happy hour deals in Miami.
They have four food items and several drink options and they serve good portion sizes. My friends and I ordered all the appetizers and we were full by the end. It is a standing bar but it's no big deal to me. The bartender, Kevin, was also super observant and kind.

Although impossible! to get a reservation I must admit, that the food and experience are worth it. I like it that you can eat as cheap or as expensive as you want. We ordered the butchers feast, and it was super filling and delicious!
Don’t believe the hype!
Lured by the Michelin Star, we were excited to try Cote Miami. Upon arrival, you are greeted by an in-hospital bellman “bouncer” that you would expect in a late-night strip joint. Instead of a welcoming demeanor he stared through you with deep contempt. Navigating past the noisy bar with patrons six deep, you are seated at your table, and the sales pitch begins. The hype of A5, Kobe, etc., is relentless, and it's no surprise the prices are unpublished. You start to recognize that this is more akin to a Samurai, aka Benihana knock-off than a culinary severe discourse in Korean cooking. Theatrics take precedence over quality and service. The dining experience is boisterous and frenetic with the roar of the bar crowd, from the open seating design to the waiter/chef cutting your meat into cube chunks with scissors and expecting you to create a taco concoction with a modest array of Korean accompaniments. We tried the seafood platter, wedge salad, and steak tartare, and they were average but not Michelin Star-worthy. The kicker was just before the cooking started; the waiter announced he was going on a 20-minute break and someone else would take over! Huh? Even Benihana’s frowns on cigarette breaks during dinner service! The service deteriorated during the break, leaving drinks and water unfilled. Management comped drinks, but we are not here for free stuff - we have resources, and we wanted to experience Micheline quality dining. This is just another theatrical steak place fast-talking the significant-eyed tourists visiting the big city. There are too many great restaurants in Miami to settle for acceptable mediocrity.
Michelin starred Korean BBQ
Fantastic Korean BBQ! You won't find better cuts of meat anywhere else! What you'd expect from a Michelin-rated Korean bbq restaurant. However, I did think their gochujang popcorn chicken was a bit oversauced. I was also expecting their tonkatsu ribeye to be a bit more tender. I'm a big fan of their happy hour menu, where they have a collection of cocktails and small bites available for just $8.88. You'll just need to stand at the bar to eat. Service was friendly and top notch. The ambiance was sexy and sophisticated.
Minor error made right!
We came here after a recommendation from a friend who knows the Miami scene inside out. He promised that Cote would be “hot”. When we got there we saw what he meant. It was packed and buzzing. We had a drink at the bar and waited to be shown to our table. Then something a bit weird happened and from what we understand, somebody with a similar name was seated ahead of us. We waited quite some time and eventually asked a member of staff what gives. From there they spotted the error and we were looked after like royalty. Everything was perfect. We chose a nice bottle of wine and ate 3 cuts of delicious beef. We were happily about to pay the bill when Olivia informed us that the food part of our order was on them!!! She apologised profusely for the mix up and wanted to be clear that errors like that are not how they roll. Well - to say we were surprised would be an understatement. To make errors is normal and in a busy and popular place like this one might often be dealt with coldly and made feel as if one was lucky to be there at all. Not at Cote, Miami. Not only did they acknowledge the error but they owned it and made it right. Thanks to Olivia and all the excellent staff at Cote. We had a great evening and we will be back. x
Highlight of our trip
Our experience at COTE was outstanding. We did a small appetizer (“steak and eggs” which was absolutely to die for) and the Butcher’s Feast and left plenty full. We couldn’t even finish all of the stews/salad etc. Service was attentive and everything was cooked perfectly. We have a mid-level spice tolerance and didn’t find anything spicy at all, contrary to some of the other reviews.
Expensive “Melting Pot”
Just OK…it’s an upscale “Melting Pot”. The constant switching of waiters/servers was odd. Our cook was nice along with the 5 other people coming around. The steak was good, but all the accompanying food was not. Not a lot of choice of sides. I’m on a keto diet and all I could eat was the meat. The meat was cut into halves which was very big. Sometimes I to spit it out in fear of choking! NO silverware or knife to cut only chopsticks! It’s a very young crown more there for “pictures and drinking” it seemed. Definitely NOT worth the $400.00 (only one drink ordered) for what we got! Again, staff polite. Just not the experience we would return to. Save your money IMO! I’ve dined all over the world and this isn’t it. Sorry not sorry.
Waiter/chef with foul smelling breath salted the food from a bandaid on his pointer finger.
Very interesting dining experience with high quality well seasoned food. Our waiter turned my stomach with bad breath (he stands over you and the food while cooking it) and the way he salted the meat from his pointer finger that happened to have had a bandaid on it. Disgusting.

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!
Super simple, easy, and fast to secure reservations for hard-to-get restaurants and locations!
This app is life changing
This app has opened my world up to so many wonderful new experiences I would never have the chance to have without access to this awesome app! 10/10!
Worked perfectly
Was a little nervous at first but was pleased to see that the booking went through flawlessly.
Highly recommended.
Success on Short Notice
Was able to snag an indoor table at Don Angie through an absolutely seamless worry-free process.
Worked perfectly, thank you!
This is a crazy holiday season in NYC and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that AppointmentTrader works! Will be using again!
Worked flawlessly!
Worked so well! I was a bit nervous, but everything went very smoothly. purchased the reservation, and got into the restaurant seamlessly.
Love this app!
So glad I came across this app :)
Quick table in Miami
I didn’t have my hopes high as it was a party of 4. In 24 hours I had a carbone reservation available! I was very happy as my family really wanted to come here
Prime time, great meal
So easy and had a prime time which I can never seem to get on normal res apps. So worth it
Got impossible NYC res
instead of waiting weeks I got my 4 charles reservation instantly
Worked perfectly to get into Carbone. So delighted
perfect
Worked well, got me into a restaurant with no availability
I was skeptical, and I still don't really know how they managed to find this hard-to-find reservation, but it was a win-win from my point of view, and I'll use this service again.
Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
Payouts Blocked Because of Sell Through Rate
Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??
Tune into NBC News - Top Story Tonight 7:40p ET
Let’s go. Get more people placing bids!
I will give you 50% of ALL of my PROFITS if you teach me how to make profits?
LOL. Thank you The New Yorker.
Appointment
Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
Buyers interested in Bern's Steakhouse: PLEASE READ
Same goes for 4 Charles and I Sodi
Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil
🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🧨🧨🧨 now on to 30 mill!
Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
