Careful making Resy Reservations.
Made reservations but had to cancel. Canceled on time and still charged me. Resy said the restaurant charges the customer. Restaurant then said resy charges the customer. Just kept getting a runaround on both ends. Dishonest handling of situation.

This place is amazing! An incredible experience.
Be ready to spend some money though. But it was a great experience.

OMG we've been to the Miami location and the one in NYC and they are so cool! Food is awesome, so many fun and interesting things to try and we love how they cook the meat in the little chic grill on the table. Everyone was friendly and helpful and while pricey, it's worth it for the experience!

Miami Design DistrictGrill to Michelin? 1 Michelin Star in Miami - CoteCote is a famous American steakhouse that has earned 1 Michelin star in both New York and Miami (it's not easy to get Michelin for Korean barbecue either). This Cote opened in Miami in February 2021, located in Miami's very iconic design district (noon or evening stroll tired of eating a Korean barbecue is also very comfortable Oh) booking words this store to be honest walkin is also possible, after all, online booking no matter how much time you book put almost all 5PM or 11PM quota. This time my friend and I are Walkin eat dinner, the following to review it we ordered raw meat and butcher lunch set, including small dishes, rice and 4 different kinds of nuts, the most amazing to me is DryAgedRiby (cooked meat eye and American Wagyu Flatiron (3 minutes cooked meat is very tender.Very watery too) sandwiched between lettuce and served with kimchi, every bite was satisfying! This is my favorite. The service at this restaurant is also one Michelin star rated, with wait staff helping you grill the meat the whole time, you just have to eat it!The prices at this Michelin grill are really affordable! The restaurant is also famous for their WinePairin cocktails! It's also a great experience with their Steak Omakase! If you're done eating, don't forget to share your experience in the comments section!

I've been wanting to go to Cote for a long whole now, and it turned out to be a disappointment ⭐️⭐️⭐️

As we wanted to try out the best Cote had to offer, we tried the Steak Omakase for two. The bottom line - I wouldnt try the Steak Omakase, I would pick specific cuts (COTE Galbi is a must!) and sides that you like (as you might find a lot of the sides not to your taste) The good: * It's a lot of food, you wont leave hungry * The COTE Galbi (marinated shortrib) are super delicious, definitely our favorite * Service was good, at times The bad: * Meat quality and preparation was high - I've had much better meat in a lot of other places, preparation was very inconsistent due to servants handling mutiple tables and generally being busy * Service was inconsistent thriughout the meal, it was sometimes great and aometimes hard to find someone that will help * Very expensive, at $180 per person, I would expect more

First time visiting cote! What a lovely restaurant.
Great ambiance and fantastic vibe. We dined with 2 adults and 2 kids.Service: very attentive and excellent service throughout. Our server was very detailed and took the time to explain everything to us. He was great and understood the needs while dining with younger kids offered us extra rice right away and also served them first. Food: meats were great and a great variety. We went with butchers feast. For the price it was a large amount of food and selection I think the decision was a good one. Unfortunately one complaint is, we found all the soups and side dishes extremely salty. Compared to other Korean bbq places (we have dined in many including in Korea) the level of salt was too much for us.Overall I would've given 5 stars if it weren't so salty. I do recommend giving this michelin star restaurant a try and have a lovely experience.
Probably our all time favorite spot... We actually went a while ago during the Grand Prix weekend and ordered the feast at $95/pp. It came with 5 different cuts, a ton of banchan, 2 stew dishes and ice cream (literally heaven) for dessert. The galbi was our favorite, it was perfectly marinated and not too sweet nor salty. We also tried the steak and eggs appetizer. The service was 10/10 constantly made sure meat was cooked properly and served in front of us, while also tending to our needs. The restaurant was a bit loud but given the space is small and there is a bar right next to it it's a given. But the dim lights really set the mood for a great dinner. We'll be returning soon!
😍
If you want to pamper yourself and experience something different, Cote is your place!
Took advantage of Miami Spice and tried something different and it did not disappoint. Cote is an experience all together, the food, ambiance, service, everything was just on point. The bill is a bit higher than most places I normally eat at but worth every penny. The quality of the food and the treatment was worth it all.
😍
Gluten Free Guy (Celiac)First EVER 5 star review.
Not my first time here, and definitely will NOT be my last. Best steak on this side of the Mississippi. The atmosphere and vibe are immaculate as well. When I put these buttery cuts in my mouth, I quite literally ascend to heaven and return to earth a higher being. They went out of their way to bring me gluten free alternatives (side dishes, deserts) without me even asking! I'll be back. If I could give six stars I would.
😍
Cote was absolutely beyond delicious.
I had the Ribeye steak cut it literally melts in your mouth . The first bite was just perfect , it was cooked to perfection Medium Rare they used wagyu fat to cook the steak which added such a great extra flavor to the meat. The side dishes were also delicious. The ambiance and service was great very attentive staff , answered all our questions about the menu and made great recommendations.
😍
Great steak great service
We order the steak sampler. Everything was delicious. The bacon appetizer is a must. The cocktails are delicious also. I will return.

Amazing food and literally the best service I've experienced in my life. This is not just a restaurant, it's an eating experience. The low lighting makes it a great place for a date. Wasn't even that expensive either.. $70 for an entry level experience. Will come again if I have the chance...

The staff continuously go above and beyond to make the experience incredible. Every detail is executed to perfection from the host stand, to the dining room floor where the lights and music magically adjust to the room as the night progresses. Every single person is educated on the menu and you're never left reaching for an empty glass of water or dropped utensil. That's to say nothing if the genuine hospitality and genuine warmth of the entire team. Cote is a very special place and will always be our number one spot to celebrate or share an intimate dinner with loved ones.
😍
My experience at Cote was incredible.
In general, I do not have high expectations of Korean BBQ in South Florida, but I was pleasantly surprised.Located at the intersection of a busy part of the Design District, Cote has an eye catching plaque and an hypnotizing interior. Splendid with a round bar concept and sprawling seating for big parties, the dimly lit restaurant is perfectly ambient for intimate and large groups alike. I enjoyed the butcher's feast for four, with unlimited vegetable sides. The meats were tender and juicy and served for you, seasoned with course salt and flavored to perfection. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience, incredible value for money, and simply delicious cuisine. Looking forward to visiting again in the near future!
Very cool vibe! We ordered the butcher’s feast which consists of 4 cuts which are 2 ounces each so a total of 8 ounces. The accompaniments are vegetables which are mostly pickled. The veggies were ok. We ordered a paella to enhance the steak otherwise it wouldn’t have been enough food. The steaks cuts were all delicious…hangar, rib eye, flat iron and short rib. So tender and flavorful and perfectly done. Excellent! Only thing keeping my rating from being a 5 star was the sides. Service was friendly. Highly recommend!

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would! The service was nothing like I've ever experienced, from the moment we stepped foot until the moment that we left EVERYONE was so attentive. I went with my boyfriend celebrating our anniversary, and it was such a pleasant experience I want to relive the night! The food was exceptional, service and drinks as well. Overall, this restaurant exceeded my expectations and I can't wait to come back!!
I was looking much forward to this dinner. I had read only nice reviews even before it got the star Michelin. We had the small tasting Menu and we really enjoyed our dinner trying a different way to eat grilled meat. Personally I liked the location and especially the bar which had a generous selection of all sort of alcohol. The service at the bar and at the table was perfect not much upon arrival.
Nice food nice atmosphere but one Michelin star for a steak house really, I had a set menu and one glass of their selected wine and had a very delicious lunch.
🙂
As expected - a great steakhouse
Cote Miami is one of the new 1 Michelin star restaurants in Florida this year, and the experience is true to its sister 1 star restaurant in NYC (same name). As expected, the food and service are top notch. Steaks are cooked perfectly (right in front of you, at the table), wine recommendations are great, and service is perfect. On our visit they were out of non-wagyu beef, which is odd for a steakhouse. We upgraded to the A5 Wagyu, and while way more expensive, it was indeed fantastic. Overall, it's a unique and fun experience with great food and service. Interior is sleek and modern and nice to enjoy. Only giving this for stars since I think giving a steakhouse 1 Michelin star is a bit aspirational- there are many high end steakhouses that will also fit that bill and while the cook-at-table idea is fun, Cote isn't truly that much more impressive. Go for the experience and enjoy the food.

Came for a birthday dinner and the experience was amazing.
The meat was so flavorful and melts in your mouth. The sides that come with the butchers feast were tasty, a little bit of everything. The Kimchi paella was delicious. Definitely a must have The service was great, the staff works so well together. It wasn't just one server who was assigned to our table, they all work together to take care of every table and it was effortless. They cook the meat for you and not all at once which was great, we got to savor every cut and every side not having to worry that it would get cold. The music was good, the vibe was great for a night out.

Outstanding venue in Miami's Design District.
Food, service, ambiance ...all top notch. Come hungry, you're going to need the room!

Cote opened in Feb 2021.
This classy Korean steakhouse located in the Miami design district is one of the 15 new and first MICHELIN-starred restaurants in Florida having received one star and the only one of these participating in Miami Spice 2022. We decided to make this our first restaurant on the first day of Miami Spice.SERVICE: very good, attentive and helpful COCKTAILS: They boast to have the best martinis, but most of the cocktails on the menu were made with gin or tequila. Ultimatum & Hulk were not out of this world, but good.FOOD:Steak tartare- Flavorful and perfectly paired with light air fluffed chicharrones Waldorf Salad- very good, hazelnuts gave it a better mix of flavors vs the customary walnuts BUTCHER'S LUNCH:USDA prime hanger steak was phenomenal! Stands alone- no sauce needed. 45+ days dry aged ribeye grilled at tableside was surprisingly...meh...needed the steak sauce. And the house-made steak sauce was a little too salty, so having it with the lettuce wraps helped even it out. Pickled chayote was amazing.Kimchi - not for me (very spicy) Egg soufflé was good. Picketed cauliflower -average Dessert: vanilla soft serve w/ soy sauce caramel was good. Good Miami Spice menu and completely worth the price. Honestly, I expected the food to be way better for a Michelin star restaurant. There's nothing my palette will remember here except for the hanger steak.
🙂
Cote is an excellent dinning experience.
You walk in and it's a vibrant pink It made me feel like I was at an underground club very NYC. We were told by the maitre d' that we would be waiting at the bar for our table to be ready. We walk down the hall and the door is this huge mirror we had to get a pic and you do too ;) the door opens and you this Thai beautiful bar lights are low and music is playing. It's such a great vibe. I ordered the Mutiny as a drink and was so happy with my choice. We were seated and the server explained the menu and how it worked. We ended up going all out and had the gran tour with paella ugh I wish it never ended. The meats were tender and juicy and the sides were super tasty. What made it fall short was the desert. It was melty bland vanilla ice cream in a paper cup with a wooden spoon. It really made me feel like i was at summer camp in the 90s. It just took away from the amazing dinning experience we had 10 minutes prior. Other than that everything else was amazing.
😍
Went to Cote for my birthday and really enjoyed it.
I called ahead to let them know that I had a gluten allergy and they ensured me that they could accommodate. Cocktails: I had something that's not on the online menu but it was delicious. They have a great whisky/bourbon list-- my brother had Michter's and it was unbelievably smooth. Our table did the Butcher's Feast. Each meat was it's own delicacy and we all loved every one. My only complaint about the experience is that when doing the Butcher's Feast gluten free, you end up missing out on the stews. I wish there was something they'd swap in, instead, as watching everyone else in my party enjoy that course without me felt a little bummed. But other than that, the experience was perfect. Nice hostesses, great waitstaff, amazing food, awesome cocktails.
Sommelier Maritza…awesome. The bar it’s wonderful. COTE not is a restaurant, it’s a destiny. All together is a paradise. Thanks for all
Service was great, Korean Bacon and the steak options we chose were absolutely amazing, my only disappointment with the food was the Paella ... It was awful. Also had high expectations about the interior design/look for the restaurant, especially after the big mirror door by the reception, but the rest of the inside was a bit underwhelming.
😍
We had a wonderful time! Drinks were really unique.
Whomever had thought to mix passion fruit, lime, coffee, and chili - I applaud you!One thing to note is that we went back-and-forth about whether or not to get the butcher's feast vs other cuts because it seemed like such a good deal with all of the sides. Turns out, most of the sides, including the soft serve, come out with any cut you get, so don't let that sway your decision. I honestly thought the Cote steak was the best and would just get that cut next time.

Not being able to get a reservation that worked in NYC I
Not being able to get a reservation that worked in NYC I was surprised to see they opened a Miami location as well and this time it worked out going there! There is valet parking for the mall area, I guess, and it closes at 9:30, but they will give your key if you are staying longer.Your Cote experience starts literally when you enter the main door and are presented with a colored light hallway leading to a mirrored inside door. Through the door is the bar and tables to the left and right. If you do a detour to the restrooms, you will see the meat storage area through glass at the end of that hallway.Sitting at the large tables you will have the grill in the middle. This is not surprising for a Korea BBQ experience, but don't worry if you have never been here before. You literally never need to touch the grill as the service team will be doing that for you and cooking everything to perfection. For our table we chose the Butcher's Feast which includes four selected cuts of USDA Prime & American Wagyu Beef with Korean accompaniments. The Savory Egg Soufflé paired particularly well with the meat. The Ban-Chan was amazing. The Stews paired well with the rice. Though the servers will give you suggestions, you are also there to experiment with the flavors, so you literally cannot do anything wrong.Another great feature of the Butcher's Feast is the pacing of the cuts. There was zero rush to get us started and moving onto the next one was perfectly timed and for the last one we confirmed we were ready for the meal to begin its end.For starters we did have the Wedge Salad - Iceberg lettuce, bacon, tomato, sesame dressing, the COTE "Ceviche" - Madai, cobia, kampachi, and trout roe with thinly sliced pickled fennel and chojang vinaigrette, and the Korean "Bacon" - House-smoked crispy heritage pork belly, pickled jalapeño, Korean mustard. All of which were amazing, but my favorite was the bacon -- well, because it's bacon. As an add-on to the main we also had the Kimchi Wagyu "Paella" - Kkakdooki kimchi, Wagyu beef fried rice, soft-poached egg, which is prepared table side. Altogether, for a table of four, it was more than enough food and considering the quality and service it was also felt like a fair price.I am sure I will make it to the NYC location sometime in the future. I am also sure there is probably a more tame vibe there at least for the entrance. For now, however, I am happy to have made it here.
😍
Absolutely delicious place, we're dying to go back.
The place is super swanky, you feel like coming into a trendy night club when you first come in. Once inside, the place is comfortable and nicely decorated. The vibe is legit.Service is outstanding, besides them basically cooking everything for you on the table they are pretty attentive and polite. At least 5 different people visited the table throughout our meal, it might sound like a bit too much but it never felt uncomfortable.Food is really really good, the flavors are all there. Meat is pretty good too but I have to say the show came from all the different sides and how they combined with the main dish. The drinks are great too, I has their take on the old fashioned and was not disappointed at allThe place is pricey, we spent almost $200 with tip included for two people but we did order a bit too much due to the excitement. You can expect to spend at least $70-85 per person if you keep it light on the drinks.Overall this is such a good place, my favorite in Miami so far, would really recommend it to anyone.
I was a little worried when walking in that this was going to be too trendy for my taste and for my elderly parents. The place was pretty quiet at 5 when we had a reservation (even booking almost 2 weeks in advance, the options were 5 or 10pm), so I was unsure that the booking options were accurate. I was wrong. By 530, most tables were full and it was packed by 6. I didn't understand before that they would cook the steak for you at the table, but it was an awesome surprise. For about 10 more per person, I highly recommend the Butcher's Feast, which has 4 types of meats and all the accompaniments. All of the waitstaff pitched in to make sure that your meats were turned and served appropriately. Each piece was done to perfection! Couldn't have asked for a better dinner and I will certainly be back the next time I am in town!
I have been wanting to try this restaurant for awhile, but reservations are hard to get. I got a last minute reservation at 6pm on Saturday night. We were seated quickly. The drinks were great, and they had a nice Bordeaux by the glass. The food was amazing. Honestly, the bacon was the best dish I have tasted in a long time. The wagyu paella was great. I really understand the 5 star reviews. The service was excellent and all staff who walked by took time to service our table, if necessary, refilling water glasses etc. The place is expensive so be prepared, but if you want to splurge on great food, this is definitely a fantastic choice.
Wonderfull staff, great food, nice atmosphere. A must go. Only bear in mind that everything is really spicy
😒
Should be great but not quite there....
From the moment we walked in I already knew this place needed work. The hostess walks us into the main dining area and leads us to our table then suddenly stops us and states "just a moment", leaves us standing while they get the table ready. Not the best start. She takes our drink order, a few sodas and a beer, they are served by simply putting the cans down with glasses, drinks not poured. We ordered the butchers feast, the server would be making our food while constantly looking around, seemed her focus was not on our table. At times she would walk away while our meat was cooking, another server without saying a word would come over and start turning the meat then walk away. The food itself was fine. The service though and presentation are not quite there. Looks like this is the kind of restaurant that relies more on tourist and one timers instead of repeat patrons.
😍
Next Level Korean Steakhouse
Great quality and dry aged cuts made with care at your table. Korean BBQ will never be the same after visiting Cote. The sides and Kimchee are a highlight. Good service and the cocktails are amazing in the bar.
Cote Miami is a hip and appealing restaurant to have a meal, but somehow just misses the mark. The food, service, and concept are there - almost. The food was very good. The quality of the meats and cuts were excellent. The restaurant itself was visually pleasing - moody, dark, trendy. The bar was beautiful. The restrooms clean and stylish. Having dined in other Michelin star restaurants, I found Cote Miami didn't totally live up to that expectation. We opted for the butchers meal, and a special add on (as suggested by our waiter) ordering 4 courses. The concept of the staff cooking the meal is fine, however what was lacking was the next level of intuition from the staff. A well trained restaurant staff would see our meal progression and ask us how the pacing was. They would have paid more attention to my allergy. I have a shellfish allergy, which I indicated when I made the reservation and then told our waiter when we ordered. Our waiter failed to tell me that in my particular meal 4 of the 7 dishes were made with shellfish. Perhaps I would have changed my order if I knew? Later, another staff member offered to bring me some suitable options. I was really pleased that they offered to accommodate me however for a Michelin rated restaurant where you're paying a premium for the meal, I felt this should have been prevented in the first place. Overall we enjoyed the meal but found it to be overpriced for what it was. Paying for Michelin food and service is fine when that's what you get. Overall, the meal and experience was good, but I would not rate it as great and I would not bother to go back. I would gladly pay half the price for an amazing steak at a Brazilian Steakhouse without the loud music and waitstaff checking on me every 2 minutes.
😍
Cote is the best thing to happen to Miami since Miami Vice!
Simon Kim did the world outside Korea a great service by opening in NY, I was there in the opening week and the meal itself reminded me of my very best BBQ experiences in Seoul, even the kimchee was authentic. This has been successfully transported to Miami, not a copy of NY but its own. The room is beautiful and the location great, away from South Beach. And that marinated short rib Galbi is still to die for. The service is very atypical for Miami ie great! Its genuinely caring, two examples. 1) we were a handful having been to the beach all afternoon drinking a little champagne celebrating being away from teh kids, Yusuf the GM was just a pro, really treating us as VIPs, and making sure we enjoyed our time there, a big asset for Cote. 2) the half French somm was excellent, in fact the wine list was deep and delicious, I decided to let it up to him, gave him a price which is something i almost never do, he came in $100 under and with a Cali cab sauve which was just incredible for the money, well done monsieur. Clearly I am a fan. Yes but justifiably so. Food is just downright yummy but also interesting and for someone tahst never been to korea an eye opening experience I bet, the room and atmosphere are great, the service is personal but also knowledgeable and professional and the kitchen under Chef David is engaged and focused (he let me have quick stroll through). If you are in Miami or South Beach, if you like good food and a fun atmosphere this is a MUST GO. Enjoy

An absolutely incredible experience! Thank you to the whole staff for their professionalism and kindness! My wife and I went last night to celebrate my wife's birthday anniversary and this by far was our greatest experience within a restaurant. Upon arrival, we were greeted kindly from the front in which she directed us to the bar as we arrived earlier than our scheduled reservation. From there, we met literally the greatest and kindest bartender in Miami. Luis not only is a master of his craft, but he is the epitome of excellent service. He guided us to two incredible creations that my wife and I fell in love with. She got the Hulk Smash and I got the Heat. I promise you all, these are the best drinks. And I'm being biased here, but Luis made these drinks so presentable and incredibly balanced. Im sure of course the other bartenders are absolutely wonderful, but Luis really made such a great impression to us with his kindness and genuine character. I would strongly recommend going straight to him for some wonderful creations. Now, to the food. We were seated within 10 minutes of the bar and was presented with a wonderful server who thoroughly explained all the details of the menu. We both decided to go with the butchers choice and I promise you, it's well worth its weight in cash. The meats, the different assortments of food, all beyond spectacular! The staff was so attentive to us and the attention to detail was beyond excellent! An absolute experience to spectate. We were later greeted by Daniel, who is within management, and I will say he is by far the most kindest, considerate, and hospitable gentlemen out there. He went above and beyond to make sure my wife and I had the best experience. We felt very welcomed from everyone here. Even Joe, another member in management, who came by to check on my wife to wish her happy birthday, definitely made us feel so happy knowing there are those who showcase a stupendous and genuine care for their guests. All in all, know that I barely write reviews so when I do, know that's it's a big deal. Cote and the staff at Cote Miami deserve their well worth recognition for their excellence in service and quality. We will be seeing them soon!

Very excited to have come here for my birthday.
Just an FYI... they close the kitchen between lunch and dinner times (I didn't realize this when I booked the 3 pm reservation). We got there a little late so we barely had time to go through the menu prior to ordering but the waiter was extremely helpful. We ordered the butcher's cut and also an extra cut (galbi), as recommended by our waiter. Everything that was brought to the table was well described by the waiters, including the aging process of the meats and what flavors we should expect to taste. They even showed us how to incorporate all of the sides with the meats. The waiters did all of the cooking while we were able to sit back, relax and eat. A great experience. My favorite meat was the galbi. It was sweet and soft and the perfect ending to a mouthwatering meal. I would highly recommend it since I had never had those flavors before. My husband ordered the Esteban cocktail and I ordered the heat cocktail. Both had a very balanced flavored. I loved the heat since it had passion fruit and that is my favorite fruit. We also had sujo shots that went down very smoothly.

If you're thinking about coming here do it , what are you waiting for ? I had the butchers feast , there were so many different sides to choose from and they just kept the options coming . The steaks went from wow to omg I'm in heaven. The order in which the steaks were presented was genius. Each new cut was better than the last ! The cocktails and wine choices were also good too ! I will definitely be back .

If you haven't already please do yourself a favor and SPRINT to Cote Miami. But first make sure you make a reservation but this place is a perfect spot for a special date night or if you're looking to have a celebratory dinner. In my case I came to Cote to celebrate my recent promotion at my job... yay me and I loved every second of my dinning experience here at Cote. When's driving we checked in with the hostesses and they took us to the bar to grab a few drinks while we waited for our table. It wasn't a long wait at all to the point our table was ready before the bartender could finish making our drinks. But not to worry because the drinks and tan were transferred over to our table without any problem at all which I thought was really nice in keeping the service consistent throughout. Since it was our first time visiting my family and I decided to go with the Butchers Feast and although at first we didn't think it would be enough food, trust me we were fighting to finish every last bite of the amazing food. I'll have to admit this place has easily become my favorite steakhouse, with the American Wagyu being my favorite cut of the night. I'll for sure just order that alla carte next time I come to dine here. And if you're looking to add some additional sides you can't go wrong with the kimchi fried rice. In the end our server was so sweet to even bring us a complimentary glass of champagne to celebrate my promotion so a huge THANK YOU to the team at Cote Miami for making my night so special and can't wait to come back for more!

The place is my reference for Korean BBQ, not only in the city but in general. Great restaurant in terms of food quality, and nice/fun place to spend diner with friends. I would call it a good authentic experience considering the Korean restaurants I have been to. The service is not always consistent. We had times we encounter amazing friendly service and times service was a bit colder. But we always got a high level of professionalism. I love it, the vibe and the atmosphere. And the food is outstanding overall. This is the kind of place that I look forward to visiting again and again.
Amazing food, drinks, and service! Nico was such an amazing and knowledgeable server! My new favorite restaurant in miami
