😍 5/5 - I've been here twice for the happy hour, and it's been

I've been here twice for the happy hour, and it's been great both times! The staff behind the bar are friendly and have given me great recommendations from the menu. For savory dishes, I've now tried the pork fried rice (4/5, super interesting combination of textures and flavors, even if not all were my favorite), udon (4/5, great noodles and toppings but sauce a bit more watery than I wanted, so it didn't stick to the noodles), chicken karaage (3/5, standard fried chicken with great aioli but not quite as crispy as you might expect), okonomiyaki tots (3/5, just your standard potato with some sauce really), and paella croquetas (5/5, absolutely delicious balls of chorizo and delight). The desserts are where they really shine, though. The chocolate de cabra has a wonderful caramel with chocolate mousse and goat ice cream, and the crispy rice is a great contrast to the softness of everything else. The yuzu cheesecake and sorbet were 5/5, and there were even little tapioca balls in the punchy citrus sauce at the bottom of the plate, which I could have happily drunk on its own. The churros were good (I prefer them without so much sugar on the outside, but they were fried very well!), but the real star was the miso caramel dipping sauce (5/5)! I want that sauce all day, every day. The chocolate one was more watery, but that caramel is the real deal. I included some pictures to show how gorgeous the plating is - every dish was presented beautifully! I loved the food here and will definitely be back again - hopefully for the paella next time to say I've tried the main menu! Definitely recommended for unique Spanish/Japanese fusion, very reasonable happy hour prices ($8-10 for dishes), and stellar desserts. The decor inside is beautiful, too! I loved the subtle crane decorations throughout.
