This review is long overdue.
Originally, my party and I came here on 2/10/2023. We were out celebrating a friend's 30th birthday and figured why not celebrate at Cut by Wolfgang Puck since we were staying at the Palazzo. We were greeted and seated promptly. I didn't notice any issues, but I do believe some of the servers may have taken offense to some of the people in our party who showed up with red cups to the restaurant. I'll agree it is not proper etiquette; however, it is Vegas. The city that never sleeps for gods sake! Our male host was nice enough and poured their drinks into some of their glasses, but if this was an issue it should have been addressed at check in. To start off, we ordered drinks off the bar cart, and let me say the drinks were great! We ordered our food shortly and this is where the problems started. It took almost three hours for our food to come out, and not once did our server come to check on us until we flagged him down. After several complaints, we were then met by a female manager I suppose and she was nice and offered our party a complimentary artisan bread assortment. Still, about 2.5 hours later our food came out. We saw several parties who got seated after us leaving or eating when we were there first. Not sure why our server ignored us all night, perhaps he was bias towards our party, but we are young professionals who were there to spend. It wasn't until it was time to check out, when our server realized an AMEX card was being used to pay the tab and only then did he want to start being nice to our party, but it was too late! I really hate to be that person that leaves without tipping and writing a bad review; however, the service was not up to par. The food was AMAZING!! Unfortunately, the service did not match the food. I'm going to have give this experience a 2.5 rating. It really sucks because the food was actually really good, but the service was just not there!
😍
Very pricey but worth every dollar.
The bread, the salad, the steak, the dessert and the service was about as good as you can get. 10 out of 10!.
😍
Off the chain food and service.
Expensive but worth every penny for the exceptional cuisine and experience. Mike was my waiter and Travis assisted (cool hair Btw bro!) Both top notch staff. Very highly recommend - just be aware that this place is pricey so don't be surprised. Remember you get what you pay for - as this place has the best Wagyu beef I have ever had. Can't wait to go back!
😍
Surprised to not see all 5 star reviews.
If I could give this a 10 I would. Amazing food. The best steak and scallops we've ever had. The best desserts and drinks. Not a single complaint. Service was amazing. Highly recommended.
😍
Excellent service, as expected.
The ambiance was perfect. We had American Wagyu steaks, and they were slightly above average. However, the highlight and delight of the meal that we did not expect was the Mac n cheese! I do believe that Wolfgang studied with Grandma and developed this recipe as he felt the love from her soul...it was just that good and close to homemade. Overall, the entire meal was a good dining experience. I would revisit.
Wonderful. Delightful. I left full, content, and joyous. I had made dinner reservations in advance and informed them it was my birthday. I love steak restaurants for my birthday and CUT delivered. We were promptly seated at one of the perimeter tables in comfy booth style seating in the back dining room. I marveled at how large the small space felt. The fabulous use of mirrors and low light made it seem several times it's size. The seating density was perfect if not generous. It is the first time I couldn't clearly hear my neighboring tables beyond a word or two. Most was simply background noise. It felt private. We ordered the oysters. I ordered a filet with potato purée. We also had a couple cocktails. The oysters were great, freshly shucked, and tasty! The potato purée wasn't the best that I ever had but was good - very smooth and buttery. The steak though was the best I ever had. It had this salted char that was heavenly. It wasn't overpowering and flavored every bite. I ordered a peppercorn sauce that ended up being used for my potatoes because the steak certainly did not need sauce! Initially I passed on dessert but for a little birthday treat they provided a small Baileys infused popsicle and that was very delicious and a perfect size! I also had a glass of ice wine which was as good as I recalled. Our server Brian was great. He had this warm demeanor and a personal touch. There was no stuffiness or stiff formalities which I very much appreciated. It was a very great birthday meal!

Food is close to my heart and a big part of my family.
We've ate all over the world from hole in the walls to Michelin stars. The food was phenomenal, but what really made me a new Wolfgang Puck fan was the level of service, expertise, and downright passion shown by the staff there. Chris, Chip, and Cherry made me realize why people have a go to restaurant and come back all time regularly (now I'll be one). Their passion and love for food made the meal very special. The best way I can describe it is comparing it to the homey/family feeling you get from a small family owned restaurant....with the quality/creativeness/deliciousness of one of the best meals I've ever had. It's one thing to order something and eat it, it's another to be told about how the flavors play, what painstaking effort went into its prep, or what the chef's thoughts might have been including it in the menu.Really special place here and management should be proud to be providing such memorable experiences. From the ordering to dining service all the way to Cherry (the GM) coming out to make sure it was a great meal and get to know us...absolutely phenomenal.Craziest thing is it was MORE affordable drink wise and food wise than places in the area with FAR inferior food/service.I'm going to have a long life - pretty sure I'll try tons more of Wolfgang's restaurants and come back to this one in Vegas way more than I should! Thanks for a great time!

Second time here and the food was good but not great.
The 8oz filet mignon's although tasty were a bit on the dry side. The flavor profile was there but they missed the mark. The Pork Belly was extremely flavorful, seasoned well and cooked to perfection, as was the Yukon Potato purée and the broccolini. I was disappointed to hear that they only offered a whole lobster and not a single lobster tail unlike other high end restaurants. The dining area was very upscale with decor to match. The tables were clean and the silverware were neatly arranged at the tables. Our server did a great job explaining the menu and offering his personal favorites. The staff worked as a team and in unison ensuring that our water glasses remained full throughout our entire meal. Normally, at similar establishments the General Manager and/or Manager visits the tables and briefly mingles with the guests while inquiring about the service and food. This never occurred which, was quite surprising and a bit disappointing. Overall, the food was good but fell short of my expectations. With that said, the staff did an amazing job and should be commended.

I was looking for a restaurant in Vegas that would be a jaw
I was looking for a restaurant in Vegas that would be a jaw dropping experience and figured this would be pretty close. We started our meal off with some drinks and had their old-fashioned bar cart come by the table. It was a cool experience having them make the drink and then smoke it table side. We ordered the seared pork belly as a starter and while the serving size was a bit underwhelming the amount of flavor the 1x1 square packed was phenomenal. It was a crisp outside and then it just melted in your mouth. When it came to steak, we decided to share one of the porterhouse cuts which came out and was massive. We accompanied the steak with their Mac and Cheese and were talking into getting an order of the onion rings as well. They cut the steak and serve your plate for you which again helped with the fancy experience. The steak was cooked perfectly, the Mac and cheese was full of flavor, and the onion rings were also quite good. We could've sufficed with just one side as the portions were huge. We then opted for desert and chose the chocolate sphere. This was the star of the show... they bring out the chocolate sphere that is covering the rest of the desert and drizzle a warm sauce over the top until it melts through. All in all, we got our fine dining experience and it was a great way to cap off the trip to Las Vegas. Ambiance was nice, dark room with intimate lighting and good spacing of tables to make it feel like your weren't super close to another table. Service was top notch, you never had to flag someone down as they were on top of everything. This is not a cheap experience to say the least, be prepared to pay premium Vegas Strip pricing!
Cocktails and Old Fashion Trolly fun. Service was impeccable. Carrots and cauliflower sides were the star starters! Would definitely visit again!

We made reservations a week in advanced for dinner on a Thursday for two. Consider booking a reservation a few weeks in advanced if your planning to eat here on a weekend though. The bartenders are very knowledgeable as well as the servers so they can definitely guide you into getting something you are going to love! The food is absolutely amazing my fiancé had the 30 day dry aged New York Strip and I had the American Wagyu filet Mignon the food here leaves you speechless definitely worth the money. The ambience is relaxed and welcoming! I look forward to coming here more often.
There is so many Steak House in Vegas , old and new , The Good , The Bad ! The Awful ! it is my last day in Vegas , (Three nights in Vegas do no t cut it ! you need less over a week ) got invited from my great friend Ling for their staff dinner at the Cut and located at the Palazzo resort just few feet away from the famous red sigh " LOVE " very elegant five stars fine dinning , not a cheap place but worth every penny , menu is very creative , lot of choices , I choose the Poached Shrimp and is so fresh and tasty , my 14 oz Ribeye Steak (MR ) so tender juicy and natural flavourful , just melting in my mouth , simply stunning , I am so fussy about steaks and it is 100 % perfect , remind me in Singapore few years ago , also the brussels sprouts with horseradish nice match , happy to see Ling still love her Filet Mignon , looks every one love their fantastic meal and each other company also excellent service , very professional , our wine glass never empty , she do not miss a beat , exceeded my expectation , truly grateful Ling invited me for this amazing dinner , so truly recommend this restaurant , I have no problem come back any time.
The food, drinks and service were amazing! We split the steak and scallops along with a couple of the sides. It was more food than what we could eat. The prices are on the higher end but if you are ok with splurging a little on your vacation, I would highly recommend.
🙂
OK but lacking atmosphere and soul
Cut is in a fairly unattractive space within this casino. I have had good and bad experiences with Wolfgang Puck restaurants. The best ever was at the Bel-Air hotel in Beverly Hills. This restaurant is okay, but it lacks soul. Best part were the deserts, which were excellent. You can find far better places to go for steaks ii Las Vegas which has numerous great steak restaurants. Apart from the deserts, the most notable part was the lady greeter, who was absolutely excellent. We were originally given a table next to a large empty table, which suddenly filled with the noisiest group of six people imaginable. She noticed this and quietly came over and moved us. I think she was a star .

We were excited to enjoy a celebratory meal at Cut but it didn’t go as expect. Started with the bread board-which was good-could have used more butter. Ordered a bottle of Prosecco-they don’t carry it. Ask for a brandy old fashion-no brandy. That was fine but surprising. The sides were good. My steak was suppose to be medium but had to ho back as it was too rare. I will say the service was good and attentive. Not rushing back.
This was a top notch choice that was conveniently in our hotel. Being from Houston with its own amazing food scene. I wanted to make sure and hit some of the impressive upscale dining in Las Vegas. This did not disappoint. The bread board was an amazing starter. My favorite was the flatbread with cracker consistency and the olive ciabatta. My husband loved the sourdough and the butter was out of this world. We also had the prosciutto. and burrata. It was good but I think we would try something different next time. I had the fresh oysters for my main which were really fantastic although I had some really small ones. The Waygu filet was outstanding as were our sides of potato puree and Brussel sprouts. Really great experience. Side note - if you are trying to have a romantic meal this is not the place. It was busy and the vibe is designed to be cool and contemporary which translates to loud. Also if you are on the fence about the bone-in tomahawk - just do it! I wasn't feeling all that hungry when we went but the couple sitting next to us ordered it - very jealous. We had already ordered but will be back and will definitely be getting the tomahaw.
Wolfgang, you are still the man! If you have a meal to splurge in Vegas you could do far, far worse than Cut. If it’s not a splurge go anyway. The mains are as great as you’d expect, but the surprise is the supporting characters, seriously that cracker in the bread service is a gift from god, how did you do that? The Mac and cheese is delicious, the brocolini is kicked up a notch, and for a steakhouse the wine list has some really reasonable choices. Service is attentive and friendly but not overbearing. We will be back!
😍
Everything you want from a classy restaurant
First meal in Vegas after 20hrs travelling from Australia and it was the perfect way to end a very long day. It's busy place but the service was on point all night. Cocktails were delicious and for mains we had the Pork Chop and the Braised Lamb .... easily the best Pork Chop I've had anywhere - it was so large it was butterflied to cook and it was sensational. Loved everything about the place.
We must have hit a bad night for service staff because it took over an hour from our salad to get our steaks and I was the only one with a filet so mine was cold, everyone else had eye of rib eye and it was lukewarm. The food was tasty however - I mean how could it not - it was American waygu. Salads were fresh and tasty, sides were also very good and they came to the table hot. Gotta try the fresh oysters though -YUM. The space is quite jammed so it's difficult to hear others at the table. The wit staff kept us informed on the steaks but it was still disappointing.
😍
Wolfgang’s is the best steakhouse
This is my favorite steakhouse in Vegas. The servers had answers to every one of my questions and were nice about it with details. The cocktails are prepared right in-front of you, and so is the fish if you so happen to order it. I recommend the Mixed emotions to sip on, not too strong but made to perfection. The Ribeye medium cooked, was perfectly seasoned with just the right toppings. The ambiance inside the Bellagio is quite amazing, a little bit loud but it was a Saturday night
😒
One of the worst steakhouses I've been to. Walmart steaks for $100!
On my last night in Vegas I decided to treat myself to a nice steak dinner. I don't mind the price if it is quality. This place was extremely disappointing. I ordered their 22 dollar wagyu sliders to start. They were the smallest sliders, I have ever seen, and they were well done, and burnt on the inside. Had to send them back. Tasty. But you could get better sliders at Grand Lux for half the price, that are not "wagyu", and get more. I wish I would have went there instead. This place is a tourist trap, ripping people off of their hard earned money. I then ordered their snake eye 8 oz American wagyu steak. $95!! Are you serious?I was expecting the steak of my life for this price. It was average at best. I usually dont indulge in such fine dining, this was supposed to be a treat for me for such a hard work year. The spices on the steak were great, a nutty flavor with a nice char. However, there were many pieces that were filled with way too much fat, and very little meat. I felt as if I were eating a 15 dollar steak from stop and shop (my grocery store). I saw one Google Review which stated they are buying Walmart steaks, and passing them off as "Wolfgang's" and pocketing the profits. I agree. $140 plus tip for a Walmart steak. Told the manager who listened to my feedback, but did nothing. Not even a comp. dessert. Do not come here. The quality of the steaks does not match the prices they are charging. The only reason for the 3 star rating, is the service was great. However they gave you the smallest cup of water ever, and I had to actually ask for a bigger glass with ice. I will not be returning, and I can't recommend this place.

Man - I was really looking forward to this meal.
My husband and I come to Vegas 4 or so times a year and have eaten at many top tier establishments in town. This was, by far, the biggest disappointment of Vegas meals I have had.We were seated near the bar, which isn't a big deal, but definitely sets the tone for a more casual experience than the price tag indicates. The wine presentation was great and probably the best part of the meal. We really enjoyed the soft shell crab appetizer. Where the disappointment comes in is for the main course. I ordered my steak mid rare and it definitely came out rare. I don't hate a rare steak, so I didn't send it back, but it's really unfortunate for this to happen at a steakhouse. The biggest issue was that our sides were not ready and did not show up until about 10 minutes into our meal. By the time our sides arrived, my steak was cold. We ordered broccolini and mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was good, but the broccoli was definitely on the under done side in my opinion. It was hard to enjoy the experience fully with the timing of the entree and sides. I cannot necessarily fault the server for this, but there wasn't really any corrective action taken. We did get a nice handwritten card congratulating us on some personal celebrations, as well as a complimentary dessert bite. Those were nice touches. Aside from this, I would say pretty confidently that the service was nowhere near on par for what you would receive at other establishments at this price point (namely, refilling our own water and the issue with the timing on the sides). If this were a $200 meal instead of $500 I would be less critical, but given the pricetag - I have to extend 2 stars. The next night we ate at CHICA and had a $200 meal which was far more enjoyable than this. I am not sure we will return to CUT.
😍
The service was absolutely impeccable.
Chris and Chip our servers were fantastic and our sommelier David was extremely knowledgeable. Chip gave me an amazing recommendation in my price point for a bottle of wine and they also decant the bottle for you which I was obsessed with! Food was to die for and we were well taken care of on my birthday :) We will definitely be back anytime we come through Vegas!
😍
Came here for wifes bday.
We both had the filets. which were cooked to the right "medium rare temp" that we prefer. Sides were sharable and drinks were ok. Good spot.
Our server was so attentive and had a passion for the food. He made us feel welcomed, suggested great items from the menu, and even gave us a small tour of the restaurant since it was the opening time. Food:Start Me Up - Rum Drink - Wonderful and fruity. There was no burn to the alcohol and the strong aroma coats your mouth with every sip.Old Fashioned - Whiskey Drink - Made table side. Loved the idea of having a old fashioned cart being pushed around. Got to choose the whiskey it is made with and would tell them that we preferred it more sweet/more bitter.Peach and Burrata Salad - Wow. This was one of the recommendations from our server. The saltiness of the prosciutto and the creaminess of the burrata paired so beautifully with the summer ripened peaches!Japanese Wagyu Rib Eye - Out of this world. It was so tender that you can eat it with a spoon. I would suggest getting a side that is more acidic to help cut the fat.American Angus Rib Eye - Juicy. This steak was juicier than what you can get at any other steakhouse. If you get this, highly recommend going with the chef's cook for the steak for the best result. Creamed Spinach - Good. Love the addition of the egg to make it even more creamy. I thought the whole side was a bit runny though.Handcut French Fries - Pass. With all the other food that we had, this was a bit underwhelming. If you are trying to find a texture change, I would choose something else to achieve the crunch that you are looking for.Cappuccino - Perfect way to end the meal. Foam was nice and the espresso wasn't burnt. On to my next food adventure...

When the bread tray is $12, the expectation is high for the main course. The $89 filet mignon was looking very sad on the cold plate. The kung pao cauliflower was inedible and unrecognizable. The red snapper tasteless. Staff nice and attentive but they are not the owner and the imaginative force behind the menue! I have heard of chef Puck's feelings about food critics but when the burger joint on the strip serves better food than the fancy $500 dinner place (our bill), there is need for intervention!
As a premier Grazie PRIEMER member...reserved but waited for a table more than we should have. BOBBY was our waiter who was an absolute joke, he was rude, overselling but wouldn't stand behind anything when everything was coming out wrong or not even coming out. Salad salty TWICE, he said well the chef has a heavy salt hand, who says that? Brought another salad that was even saltier it was literally all sat, inedible literally. Terrible customer service. We waited for over an hour and a half for our food without any reason of why it's taking so long. Oh, also was my dads birthday they ruined. Don't come here ever, so many options in Vegas for a steakhouse this is not worth it.Terrible food and service. SO many better options. Do not recommend.

Celebrating our Wedding Anniversary! We started with a Caesar salad to share. Then for entrees we had the Rib Eye steak (14 oz) aged for 21 days and the New York Sirloin steak (14 oz) aged for 35 days. For a side we had their specialty Mac and cheese. The salad was beautifully presented with a small bruschetta on the side. Very fresh and crispy, and tossed in a nice dressing. The steaks were prepared medium rare as requested with a nice seasoned crust. They were tender, juicy, with just enough fat to make them delicious. You can tell that they were prepared over charcoal. The Mac and cheese side was very cheesy with a great crust. A great complement to the steaks. They were so kind to give us a few complimentary desserts. Mini fudge popsicles and truffles for our anniversary.Service is really top rate at Cut. Our servers were very attentive and entertaining. Overall a great five star experience
Everyone made my son feel super special on his birthday. Thanks to all the staff!

Lighting, decor, menu, execution, sauces, sides, etc. Well rounded. Things I loved: wagyu filet & street corn side. Only negatives were the spinach side was disappointing & steaks were slightly over cooked, but nothing close to complaint worthy.

Best restaurant meal of my life!!
We booked Cut to celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary. It turns out we hit the restaurant jackpot when we were seated in Jeremy’s section. What a fantastic young man he is!! He made us feel so welcome and special and his menu recommendations were simply OUTSTANDING! We ended up ordering each of his recommendations - the peach salad, the pork belly, the kung pao cauliflower, a steak cooked to perfection and the baked Alaska. Just WOW! I think my hubby and I will talk about that meal for a looooong time to come!
🤢
Shocking service spoiled the night
Charging $125 for a steak entree should mean everything aspect is perfect. However the service was worse than McDonald’s, at least there you don’t get ignored!
Our appetiser was completely forgotten about and never turned up. We waited over an hour from sitting down before we had any food. Service staff were arrogant and dismissive. No real apology for leaving us alone and forgetting our order.
At least the filets were lovely but we’ll never go back to Cut.
😍
Best Steak I have ever had in nearly 60 years .
The food, from starter through dessert, was second to none. My lady ate here some 10 years ago and said I must go for my sons 21st. My title review says it all . Expensive but for great service and a very special occasion worth the spend. The extensive wine list also gave a great choice at all price levels. A must visit while in Las Vegas.
😍
Javier did an excellent job.
Service was phenomenal. One of my colleagues said that he had the best steak he ever had.

Reservations were made a few days before and I have to say the system works fantastic. They confirmed with me the day of and even gave me an option to add a birthday cake as it was my wife’s birthday. They were very accommodating and great communication.
Once seated we were left with not more than a slab of menus for almost 15-20 min. They finally brought waters for the table and then another 10 min goes by before anyone came to take our drink order. 10 min later the food order so what I’m saying is the staff didn’t seem very attentive however did spend most time with large groups and tables more so than our little 4 seat table. That’s not the worst part of the experience.
After reviewing the menu and asking some questions we finally ordered our food. Two “ porterhouses for two “ with a side of potato purée and creamed spinach. We asked if the salads were big enough to share and they said the Caesar salad would be fine for two so we ordered two of those along with a artesian bread board. The bread was two crackers, two quarter sized pretzel rolls and two blueberry muffin ciabatta breads also about the size of a quarter maybe half dollar. Needless to say for the high cost they charge for table bread it wasn’t nearly enough for the table. The salads were even more of a disappointment. Each plate had a stack of 3-4 leaves with a strange tasting non traditional Caesar dressing. A few bites and it’s done. Once again the cost 20-30 per salad is insane for what you get and the quality was marginal. Tasted as if it was prepared in the morning and stored in the refrigerator until needed.
The main course: the two steaks came out Luke warm and greasy. By the time I got my first bite it was almost cold. The seasoning was bland almost no flavor and the meat had lots of fat and chewy parts. Not what you expect at a very high end restaurant. The Potato purée tasted like it was instant mashed potatoes out of a box. The creamed spinach was ok.
We got our birthday cake (which cost an additional $50) and it was excellent however overpriced for what it was. Some of the chocolate accents and such were a bit stale and old.
They service just never seemed to care about our table after not ordering wine or alcohol along with some ridiculous $600 wagu ribeye. It basically felt like “ well this table isn’t spending $2k or more so let’s leave them hanging and get them in and out quickly and treat them as such “.
For having traveled the world and growing up overseas I have tasted high end cuisine and this was definitely not the case with CUT. I don’t know if I will try again In the future.

CUT makes it a point to offer such fresh options which are all properly seasoned or highlighted. Having been able to come in the winter and spring, it was nice to try the new menu items, but disappointing that what we enjoyed last season was gone! Anyhow, pictures below of all the beautiful and delicious appetizers and sides we've tried, can't go wrong with any of them. And both times, we've enjoyed the eye of rib eye which was perfectly cooked to our specification and just so tasty. Raw, cooked, broiled -- whatever you get won't be wrong. Last time we were too full for dessert, but this time tried the delicious Panna cotta with strawberries which I highly recommend, the signature banana cream pie which comes in a fancy chocolate globe that's melted at the table with a hot caramel sauce (on the sweet side for me) and a Valrhona chocolate soufflé which gets warm chocolate sauce poured into it and then a scoop of chocolate ice cream placed on top. For me, soufflé is about enjoying the eggy-tasting sponge cake with a little bit of the complementary sauce, but this got very soggy with too much sauce and ice cream that melted. Would've preferred this simplified. However, at the end of the meal, each guest is treated to the creamiest, yummiest dark chocolate truffle with just the right level of bitter. There is also a cookie service tray that goes around. All the cookies are heavenly.

Had a great round of Smoked Whiskey Pig 15 Old Fashioned
Had a great round of Smoked Whiskey Pig 15 Old Fashioned from theTableside Old Fashioned cart. Oysters with uni & steaks were wonderful. Normally not a cauliflower fan, but the Kung Pao Cauliflower was surprisingly great. Our server, Rylen & his team were top notch. Highly recommend
