CUT by Wolfgang Puck Las Vegas Reviews from The Last Year
Every single aspect of this meal was incredible.
Our servers were so welcoming and professionally delightful. They made great recommendations. The Australian Wagyu ribeye melted in our mouths. All three of our sides were delicious - The whipped potatoes, the creamed spinach, and the Kung Pao cauliflower. We had the specially ordered S'mores dessert - so good, not too sweet. To top it off, the general manager, Cherry, came by the table and made sure everything was perfect. It was!
Got lucky and got a table same day.
Fantastic service and started with a Caesar salad and then moved on to the eye of rib eye steak that was amazing. Sides of mushrooms and kung pao cauliflower were amazing. Dirty martinis were perfect and finished with bananas foster. This is one of my favorite steakhouses in Las Vegas .

Eating here was certainly a highlight of our trip to Las Vegas. Located in the Venetian, it was the perfect spot for us to grab a bite to eat. If you're lucky enough to get a spot by the windows, you can people-watch while you wait for your food. My favorite part of this dining experience was the bread we ordered for an appetizer. There was a myriad of different bread options, each one tastier than the last. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable and delicious meal!

The Ambiance was very good, even though our table was in a very busy location. This is why it gets one star. I realize the prices need to be higher than usual being in the Palazzo, however the food and the service should match the price. Speaking for myself, my entree was delicious, but the hand roll I was served was soggy as if it had sat out and the seaweed was soggy. For a $32 hand roll, it should be crispy, and full of toro, which it was not. The waiter forgot a salad and it was never served even after reminding him. The biggest disappointment was that he forgot the sides for the entire table. He brought 2 of the 3 sides after our meal was over. Wolfgang Puck, if you're listening to this, you have a very big dilemma.

Oh. My. God. If you want a steak cooked to perfection, this is the place to go! Just be prepared to pay for every ounce of it. The table side old-fashioned cart sounds delicious, but we passed on it since it starts at $80 and up and I just don't think there's enough taste difference between a standard old-fashioned and what's that to be worth the price difference. Our friends wanted to share the seafood tower, and even though we ended up getting too much food in the end, all of it was delicious. All of the people at our table, we tried the American Wagyu filet mignon, the New York strip steak, and the American ribeye. The ribeye was by far the tastiest, and the filet mignon, the leanest. This is an upscale place so dress nice. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

From walking in to out of CUT every person there was extremely nice and very helpful! Me and my wife went for our honeymoon and I have to say the food was delicious! We started with the bread board and was happily surprised when we got to try 4 different breads instead of just one. Then I decided to go with the steak.. Seriously one of the best steaks I have ever had!! The cut was cooked perfectly and every bite was like magic touching my tongue. My wife had the fish and it was cooked to perfection as well!! At the end they gifted us these chocolate dessert pops for our celebration. Small things like this mean the world to me and I appreciate every detail! Thank you for a wonderful experience and I cannot wait to come back!
Very good food and service.
Nice getaway from the craziness of the strip and casinos.
High end Vegas Steakhouse with a nice menu and excellent
High end Vegas Steakhouse with a nice menu and excellent service. Ambiance is very elegant and hip. Treat yourself to a pricey but good table service Old Fashion Bar with 12 to 21 year Bourbon.
If you want to be known for doing one particular thing
If you want to be known for doing one particular thing really well, then you better be great at it. Unfortunately, If this restaurant is trying to convey it has the best steaks, they have seriously missed the mark. On the positive side, the service was very good and attentive. The ambience is pleasant as well. In addition, the appetizers and salads were also good. However, overcoming everything else, the prices are absolutely insane, if not insulting. After having traveled and eaten in some of the best restaurants in literally dozens of countries - nine in the last month, I can honestly say I've never seen such extraordinary and unnecessary pricing. Two standard size before dinner drinks (old-fashioned) made table side were $300. The steaks ranged in price from $95 for a 6 ounce prime ribeye, to $425 for a 40 ounce Wagyu Tomahawk. I chose a 9 ounce New York steak for $125. It came out, served like all others, by itself in the middle of a large white plate, looking like an island in the middle of the ocean. I had ordered it medium rare. Unfortunately, it was only 1/4 inch thick and it was cooked well done and, from my perspective, was inedible. Though I have rarely done this, at the price point, I did not feel bad requesting it be corrected. The replacement steak was literally raw inside. It was almost a bluish color and was cold to the touch. I gave up at that point and didn't eat it. Our bill for 4 people without tip was $1600! No credit was given for the improperly cooked steak, though are server did acknowledge "they are having an off night." We will never know if this was an "off night" because we will not be going back.
Went here prior to seeing Dad and Company at the Spherre.
Sean and someone else was our waiter and they did an amazing job exceptional service. Steaks were all delicious and perfectly prepared. Bread service was really good. We didn't get any appetizers because we were all still kind of full from lunch, but we all had fillets and a New York, I can't remember which type of meat we ordered.. We had the mac & cheese, mushrooms, onion, rings, and cauliflower. I thought all of them were excellent except for the mushrooms which had kind of a sweet sauce that I wasn't too happy with. We had some of the nonalcoholic specialty drinks that were delicious. I can't remember what they were. We had two desserts, their strawberry shortcake and peanut butter chocolate tart, which were both awesome, I would definitely come back again
Amazing restaurant with great service and great food. It is a more expensive one however.
Amazing meal with plenty of great options. If you enjoy an Old Fashioned cocktail they have a cart and come and make it right at your table. Would highly recommend.
Delicious steak!
omg! Amazing. This has set a new bar for me. Split the Australian wagyu ribeye with my just and honestly it was amazing! The best flavor without all the fat
I have a huge steak ego - I think I can make a better steak
I have a huge steak ego - I think I can make a better steak than almost any restaurant. Then I tried CUT Las Vegas. I am pleased to say that CUT puts me in my place!
For a long while, I was skeptical as to whether or not a
For a long while, I was skeptical as to whether or not a restaurant affiliated with a celebrity chef was worth the attached premium menu prices. But within the past year, I have dined at several restaurants affiliated with celebrity chefs; I felt those dining experiences were commensurate to the menu prices; and so, my opinion on this matter has softened a bit. Which bring us to "CUT by Wolfgang Puck". Reservation ~ No Reservation ... I dined alone on a Saturday evening. I arrived at about 6:00pm. I did not have a reservation. When I arrived, I stated that I was dining alone and asked if they had available seating. I was told that they didn't have any tables, but seating at the bar was available. (I did notice that there were two-seat tables open--but I don't know if they were reserved, or if the house wanted to keep them open in case a couple arrived.) I finished my meal at about 7:00pm. As I looked around, the restaurant was almost half empty. I joked with the bartender/waiter, "Did everyone run off to catch a show?" "Looks like it, doesn't it?" His response wasn't an answer--but I think I hit on something: Curtain call for a lot of shows is 7:00pm. I suggest, if you're not going to see a show, don't have a dinner reservation, and don't want to get caught in the dinner rush--wait until after 7:00pm. If you have tickets for a performance, make dinner reservations and budget your time accordingly, so that you can enjoy an unrushed meal. Ambiance and décor ... The interior decoration of this restaurant is very nice. The furnishing and fixtures are modern and elegant. There are plenty of light sources, so the restaurant is well lit. And yet, all of the earth tones make the place feel intimate. Service ... As I sat at the bar, I had an individual who was my primary point of contact. But frankly, the entire bar staff did check-ins to make sure my needs were met. I have no complaints about the service received. The Food ... I ordered: the "prime beef" 8-oz filet mignon ($91.00); sautéed wild field mushrooms, with Shishito peppers ($24.00); a Bombay Sapphire gin & tonic ($14.00); and an IPA ($12.00). With tax ($11.81), my ticket was $152.81 before any gratuity. The filet is derived from 21-day wet aged beef. It was very tender; and it had a very good taste and texture. I am sure that the kitchen delayed serving to allow the filet to rest; but by the time it reached me, the steak was "lukewarm" (vs "warm" or "hot"). The mushrooms were prepared well but weren't standout in any way. I have no complaints about my meal--and yet it was just a meal and not an experience. If I simply want an 8-oz filet and sauteed mushrooms, I believe that I can find a steakhouse that can serve me a meal of equal quality for less money. But then there's a lot that goes into the calculation of posted menu prices, other than food costs. You're paying for overhead, labor, (etc.) -- you're paying to be there.
great restaurant!
The tomahawk steak was to die for! Everything we ordered was delicious including the mashed potatoes. The "old fashioned" cart was really fun and different.
Delicious food, great atmosphere.
Steak was cooked perfect and the service was awesome. Highly recommend this place.
Ambiance is poor.
It noisy and they play bar music is the dining room Service for seating is confused and then indifferent . Waiter was very nice but everyone else was slow , unfriendly and unhelpful. Food was good , based on service and atmosphere I thought it would be bad but it was good. Probably smart to keep a small Menu. They also brought it out fast.
Good Food / Snug Seating
We took our son here for his Birthday a week ago. The service was top notch as they didn't really miss a beat. They texted me in advance wanting to know if we wanted a cake for dessert, what to say on the cake and what flavor. Our waiter was very personable and did not rush us through any part of our dining experience, which we really appreciated. The food was delish - my husband had the pastrami short ribs which was enormous and my son had the filet. The bread board was delish and the sides were brussels and the kung pao cauliflower. The cauliflower was ok but definitely way too deep fried. My reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the drink waiter (seemed like that's all he did) had a little crinkle in his nose when I asked if I could have a particular brand of tequila with one of their specialty drinks. He tried to convince me to order it as it is and I politely assured him I wanted it with the brand I asked for. The first drink came with a huge ball of ice - that's fine aesthetically - but the amount in the rocks glass was half and if you took the ice ball out, would've been 1/8th. I questioned it for the next round and they ended up putting more in my glass but I thought it was a cheap maneuver for the cost of everything - which ended up being a $500+ meal. The last part I wasn't thrilled about and wondered how they came up with these was with the bucket seats in the bar area which is where they sat us. They are super snug - and by snug - I mean, if you have any meat on your hips, do not plan on moving around at all once you actually squeeze yourself into the seat. It's pretty ballsy to have seats like these where there's literally no room to move or breathe in and it felt a little trapped. This place has been around for years - we used to come here in the early 2000's - and while the food is tasty, I'm not sure it all was really worth the price.
Ate at the bar, great Bourbon selection! Ordered a Wedge
Ate at the bar, great Bourbon selection! Ordered a Wedge salad and the 20 oz Rib on the bone! Service was great! Ordered the steak Pittsburgh style, Black & Blue. Salad was typical, Steak was extraordinary!
We visited while on a couples trip in Vegas.
This was a recommendation from one of the couples who had been before but our first time. We enjoyed everything we ordered and all got different things and tried each others. The atmosphere and service were great too! We are in Vegas often and this will be on our list to revisit next time!
I would give them zero stars if I could.
Food was terrible. They over charged us by putting extra items on my bill. I would not recommend or revisit this restaurant.
Laid back atmosphere.
The staff were fantastic. Friendly and attentive. The pork belly and chopped salad was delicious. The ribeye was phenomenal. One of the best most perfectly cooked steaks I have ever had. Well worth the price!
My favorite steakhouse in vegas.
I am really surprised SW beats it in reviews consistently when the meat, apps and sides here are so much better. The atmosphere here is great and doesnt feel stuffy. If youbare debating where to get a steak in vegas go here.
Cut by Wolfgang Puck was good.
Nice atmosphere and lighting! The table was a little small when ordering wine, entrees and sides. Nice wine menu! The bread was good. The Filet Mignon was prepared to order...delicious! The scallops were good. The Creamed Spinach was a little runny. The brussel sprouts were good. Our servers were very nice and attentive. For some reason our entrees came out first and we had to wait several minutes for our sides. It's an expensive restaurant. It was good, but I left wanting everything to be better...especially considering the price.
Overpriced and unimpressive $700 Wagyu
Unimpressed. I’ve been to steakhouses all over the world. Was excited to try Cut while staying at the Palazzo. Unfortunately the evening from start to finish was just okay. The location is just off the Palazzo by the entrance to the shoppes. Concierge at the Palazzo had made the e reservation and for whatever reason the restaurant couldn’t find it. Regardless they fit us in at 6:15. We went early at 5:45 to have a drink at the bar. The seats were full, and they wouldn’t allow us to stand at the bar. Fine. So we went back to the Palazzo bar, grabbed some martinis, and they wouldn’t allow us in with the drinks, so we stood outside the restaurant while we finished. Got more cocktails inside— old fashioneds were good, but the Negronis and other old fashioneds were oversweetened. Sent one back and they still charged us for it. Apps— got a butter lettuce salad which was okay, bread basket (which was a separate charge) and some tuna dish which was not memorable. For dinner, the waiter talked us into the Japanese wagyu to share. We spent $700 on this steak, only to get a steak which was poorly seasoned, not too flavorful, and full of fascia and connective tissue. This was not high quality Wagyu and as three of us were disappointed, we joked how any steakhouse in New York would have been better than the waste we just spent $700 on. Needless to say, after the disappointment we skipped dessert and went to see U2 at the sphere, a much more memorable aspect of our vacation.
Skip this restaurant
I would rate this as one of my worst dining e4xperiences in years not including McDonalds of course. The food was very expensive and mediocre. The steak was tough and not particularly tasty. The sauces for the seafood were uninspired (cocktail sauce out of a jar is apropos). The recommended wine was not good and priced higher, $40 a glass, probably half again the price of a whole bottle. UGH
Not Worth It
We were staying at Cesars while attending a conference in Las Vegas and decided to eat at Peter Lugers. Becasue I was familiar with their NY location, I discounted the reviews that said it was a tourist trap. We are older and our appetites are not what they used to be. I was somewhaht concerned about how the wait staff would react if we shared a steak. The hostesses were friendly and it was only a minute or two before they called us to be seated. As we walked through the restaurant to our table, the workers were very friendly. Almost as soon as we were seated our two waiters came by to introduce themselves. I had looked over the online menuy before going to the restaurant so I already knew what we were going to order. When I told the waiter that we would like to share a steak for one, he made us feel completley comfortable with that choice. He did suggest a ribeye for two but because we were staying at the hotel there really isn't anyplace to keep or reheat leftovers. Almost immediately after we ordered the jumbo shrimp cocktail came out. It consisted of four very large shrimp. They were firm and very good. It was only a few minutes after we finished the appetizer that the steak comes out. The ribeye is cut in pieces and they served used the steak. We ordered it medium rare and it was cooked perfectly at the time the steak was brought to the table. However, they serve the steak on a vey hot plate. By the time we got to the last few pieces of steak, they were more along the lines of well done. At $95 a steak, this was not good. The concept is good and it worked fine at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse but not her for some reason. The steak was fatty and had some grizzle on it. Honeslty, when I buy a baseball cu USDA Prime ribeye at Costco and cook it, my steak is so much more flavorable. Servcie was great, but sorry to say I going with its a tourist trap and the food was not worth the price. Additionally, we were in and out in less than 45 minutes, we felt rushed.
Not a good experience
I would suggest coming in acting like you are a big deal all ostentatious. If you are with your elderly parents who are simple dressed country folks (but actually own an oil company), you might have to wait more than 30 minutes past your reservation, watch other people come in and get seated, and be told your only available option is in the lobby and straight lied to about other seating options in the main dining area. Before you go thinking I’m a complainer, this is my very first TripAdvisor review of all time despite using the app for 15+ years. Do yourself a favor- Delmonico will take good care of you and the food is better too.
Cut Steak House at Palazzo
Based on menu pricing and the name, I expected it to be a wow experience. Service was not good. Waiter was MIA most of the time. Didn’t even stop by once steaks arrived to see how they were cooked. Seems like he was not really into is job and going through the motion. No table cloth dining either. I expect that at $100 per steak. Steak was just OK. I have had much better and we eat at steak houses a lot. Best part of dinner was the salad and the cream spinach. Overall experience was just not there for a very expensive steak house.
Leave this on the Cutting Floor if You’re Hoping for a Great Steak
Buyer Beware: It’s hard to believe this place has a Wolfgang Puck name associated with it. We were out in Vegas for a special occasion, this place ruined it. In a town where it is never hard to find a great steak, we drew the unlucky straw. We had a large table and everyone agreed we each could have made something better at home. This included 4 separate steak choices. There is no way the steaks we got were worth $105 and up. The cut of meat we got was awful. My NY Strip was filled with lots of fat and tendons and the temperature was off. (ordered medium rare, got rare). Although somewhat expected, the two ribeyes nearest me had incredibly abnormal amounts of fat. What a shame. The waiter convinced us on several sides. They were just okay, except for the cauliflower which was really good, and also overpriced. He didn’t even leave them at the table. Never again.

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!
Super simple, easy, and fast to secure reservations for hard-to-get restaurants and locations!
This app is life changing
This app has opened my world up to so many wonderful new experiences I would never have the chance to have without access to this awesome app! 10/10!
Worked perfectly
Was a little nervous at first but was pleased to see that the booking went through flawlessly.
Highly recommended.
Success on Short Notice
Was able to snag an indoor table at Don Angie through an absolutely seamless worry-free process.
Worked perfectly, thank you!
This is a crazy holiday season in NYC and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that AppointmentTrader works! Will be using again!

perfect
Worked well, got me into a restaurant with no availability
I was skeptical, and I still don't really know how they managed to find this hard-to-find reservation, but it was a win-win from my point of view, and I'll use this service again.
Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
Payouts Blocked Because of Sell Through Rate
Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

I will give you 50% of ALL of my PROFITS if you teach me how to make profits?
LOL. Thank you The New Yorker.
Appointment
Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
Buyers interested in Bern's Steakhouse: PLEASE READ
Same goes for 4 Charles and I Sodi
Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil

Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
