Beautiful… but no soundproofing!
My husband and I stayed here for the weekend recently, to celebrate our anniversary. The room was really cute and comfortable, and the location is absolutely perfect! The on-site restaurant is also really great for breakfast. Honestly, this would’ve been a perfect day except for one thing… There is absolutely no soundproofing in between the first and second floors. Unfortunately I had the misfortune of staying in a room directly below a room where children were staying… Running, jumping, and stomping all weekend long. Even normal footsteps sound like elephants. I was woken up every morning at 6:30 AM and I can’t deny that it was definitely a bummer for my trip. I’ve never done this in my life, but I even called the front desk to see if they could ask them to be quieter. (Nothing changed.) I really hate writing negative reviews, but I left this trip really sleep deprived and it was really disappointing. I won’t stay here again unless I can be guaranteed a room on the second floor. If you’re not bothered by noises, or don’t have a problem sleeping with earplugs in, then you’ll love this place! Everything else about it is fantastic!
Be the first to ReplyGreat Experience In The Alexander Valley
We spent a night at Geyserville Inn while we were in the area for a dinner at Cyrus. We had a GREAT stay. The rooms appeared to be freshly updated. We had a great fireplace, a large, updated bath with this amazing mirror that defogs itself. Great rainhead shower, nice bath amenities, Keurig machine, huge television, comfortable memory foam mattress. Our room had a beautiful view out over the Alexander Valley. The room was spotless. Nightstands had USB ports and good lighting. We interacted with several front desk staff and housekeeping. They couldn't have been more pleasant and welcoming. Having owned a lodging property for 15 years, I am very critical. It was a flawless experience.

What a find. This place is so charming and a hidden gem. It is clean and easy to access right off the highway. You can drive to Healdberg in 5 minutes. Much better than staying at a hotel in town that has no charm. This place is wonderful.
Be the first to ReplyVery Very Unhappy!!!!!
The front desk people are very rude. Restaurant is very moldy smelling. Customer service is horrible. If you rent the cottage bring your own keys! Or be prepared to crawl in a window! They don’t care about the customer only their money!

Rooms have been re-done. Quiet corner of the valley, but a great value. Some great restaurants nearby, and of course you are right near a lot of wineries. Cafe at the hotel is lovely. Would love to come back soon.

If you are looking for that authentic wine country stay, look no further than this renovated In surrounded by vineyards. The rooms have been tastefully updated with hard surface flooring, large walk in showers and super comfortable memory foam mattresses. Just minutes from the Dry Creek wineries and Lake Sonoma. Definitely coming back here for a more extended stay.

Stayed for 2 nights at the Geyserville Inn for a wedding weekend. The rooms were nice; clean and exceeded my expectations. We were on the second floor (219) overlooking the event space etc behind the Inn...we even had a small balcony. The view was nice and it was very quiet. We opted to skip housekeeping, although we could have simply hung the sign on the door and had our room made-up. There was not an elevator and the stairs,( while fine for us), could be an issue for some people. Will definitely stay here again to go wine tasting in the area!
Be the first to ReplyPoor service in restaurant
I ordered pancakes on the side of eggs from the menu, and there is an "s" at the end of the word pancakes, and was delivered one small pancake for an extra $5.50. Upon politely pointing out to our server that the menu says pancakes, she was argumentative and rude rather than gracious. Correct the menu, find servers with manners, give them the power to make customers happy. Management seems clueless.

17 guests stayed for 2 nights mid-week for a reunion of friends. We had a party in the large room on-site, including a served dinner. We had breakfast in the Grill next door, which was delicious and expertly handled by Vanessa. Daisy at the front desk was wonderful as well. Check in was easy. I do not understand the poor reviews. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. Could some things be improved? Yes, some guests would have liked this or that, but this is not a full-service, five star, Fairmont with elevators, etc., it’s a country inn in a small town.

I cannot state how disappointed I am with this place. We have been going there for 7 years. It went back for the 1st time since covid and it was totally different. It seems to be under new ownership and new management. Is extremely rude people there. After the 1st night our room was not claimed. When we made it known they made no effort to clean nor apologize. They made fraudulent charges on the credit card. We were told we would have a downstairs pulse side room but they put us upstairs near where construction was going on. I would beg anyone looking at this review to never ever go to this place. Hillsburg is right down the road and you can get better places for cheaper and not get treated horribly. Do not do business with these people.
