If you're looking to get lit with high quality crafted poisons try to get into Dante West Village in Manhattan. Luckily my brother landed there first and scored a seat at their tiny ass bar. When I arrived I walked right past the hostess stand over to him like a boss. They were about to give me shit until they saw him waving me over like a VIP. It was our celebration for his upcoming baby. An event I'm really looking forward to. While I'm not sure if I'll ever get to build my own team of coders to outsource work to in-house, I'm beyond happy for him. His little one is supposed to launch in the next few weeks and those cocktails were one the best final sign offs. If you can get into this place it's awesome, and there are plenty of spots to bar crawl around it too!

What we ordered:Salmon tartareBrussel sproutsCrispy Calamari Salmon tartare was fresh and had eggplant underneath seasoned with yuzu. Brussel sprouts were shredded w Parmesan cheese and pistachio nuts and the calamari was lightly breaded with lime.

Bring all my friends there. I love it!! I was shocked and appalled by the behavior of one of their managers, GEORGIA. Honestly, she couldn't have possibly been more rude or made our experience worse. I will not be back and I hope that this is noted. My table was all blown away by how rude she was.

Was a walk-in after dinner, was seated at the bar right away. They were able to check our bulky winter coats. My friend's martini was OK, I enjoyed my Willemette Valley Pinot Noir.Looking forward to dining here one day.

I loved the original Dante on MacDougal from back in the days before the big renovation/renaissance. It took time to warm up to the new esthetic, but when they opened the West Village location a few years back I wanted to not color it with my gripes about what happened to the original namesake. I have gone several times since then and have to say I have never been terribly impressed by the food. Don't get me wrong, the ingredients are fresh and the cocktails, as well as the service, are amazing; however, the food has been a bit flat and underwhelming to me, especially dinner service.

So many seasonal and staple cocktails to choose from. Espresso martini was incredible. Cucumber gimlet was also fresh and delicious. We didn't get a chance to try any of the dishes; maybe next time. Service to get a drink was not the quickest but that's in part because they're specialty cocktails being made

Good food. But I can think of better places to be treated rudely by a waitress. I asked to be seated at the bar, but was seated at a table for lack of space. That was fine until the barely present waitress decided to take turning my table into her own hands. I was there for 50 minutes. Ordered two drinks and food. Not gone fast enough to suit her. Not recommended if you are a woman enjoying a martini alone. You are not welcome.

The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and the ambiance is perfect for a date night. My friends and I came here on a whim post dinner on a Sunday night and were seated right away in the heated patio. It was well equipped and we did not feel cold at all sitting outside during January. We got multiple rounds of drinks and my boyfriend even got a drink that included a custom Dante Yeti cup. I don't drink alcohol due to lacking the enzyme to digest it and the mixologists were happy to make custom drinks until we found the one. They were kind enough to give the whole table a sampler of the Fall Fox mocktail which everyone loved and we swiftly ordered some for the table immediately after. Overall a fantastic spot and I cannot wait to return!
Perfect for a relaxed meal with friends
A classic endures… Outside was warm enough even on a frigid evening, mocktails were amazing making it easy to get through Dry January and maybe beyond! Food was great, as was service and ambiance. I particularly recommend starting with a shared flatbread (we had the pancetta) and a pasta (we shared the tagliatelle Al limone with a pistachio pesto - as good as it sounds). The Brussels were a little soggy but it might have been an off night. The flavors were great so I’d give them another try. Enjoy!

Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue? |

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
