Overall, some food was hit or miss, but I think this is still a decent brunch option (I would just order differently next time.) I had a reservation for two people around 11am and it was pretty dead, but by the time I left around 12:30pm it was really starting to fill up. Ambiance / Service: restaurant is sooo cute. Decor is 10/10. There's lots of outdoor seating (though it can get hot in the summer because it's not really covered). Perfect spot for a girly brunch. Service was really good as well. Food: -House Made Banana Bread: this was the best thing I ordered. Sooooo buttery and moist. Delish. -House Baked Cinnamon Roll: came with baked peaches. This has a lot of potential, but wasn't exactly what I was hoping for. It very VERY dense and not soft or moist (the outside was very hard and we had to use a serrated knife to try to cut into it). I wish it was doughier and had more cinnamon sugar on it. Was hoping for something more similar to a CinnaBon. -Mushroom, Zucchini, Gruyère Frittata: lol do not order this. It was actually not bad, flavor wise, but it was the tiniest piece of frittata I've ever seen. I'm actually confused that this was what they sell. The entree is 80% salad with about 3 bites worth of frittata. -Shakshouka: I did not try this, but my friend enjoyed this. Portion size is good too.

This is a cute spot for cocktails with friends. We went for a weekend brunch and found the staff to be really friendly and accommodating. The drinks menu really stands out. The Christmas decor is also really charming.

Staff were so kind and welcoming! They talked me through the options since I'm super indecisive and picky. Waiter suggested mushroom burrata on sourdough toast and said I'd love it even if I'm not the biggest mushroom fan, so I ended up trying and it was the most delightful piece of toast I've ever had. Would go back every week if I could!! A little pricey but perfect for a brunch or cute dinner spot.

Finally tried Dante and the drinks live up to the hype! They're so yummy We had a girls brunch and the restaurant itself was super cute! I tried their classic Garibaldi which was super refreshing and yum and ofc had to get their espresso for round. And our server is really sweet too, make us feel welcome and warm!

In preparation, the Events team was thoughtful and conscientious during the planning. They worked with us to make it specialized for our team and were gracious about fulfilling requests, down to the flowers on the table. The space is beautiful and the food was outstanding! Given party size we had a family style menu - the food was delicious and portions generous. Our server was attentive and very kind. Bread, Cauliflower and Tiramisu are a must - from the bar, the spritz and the martinis are perfection. Enjoy! I will go back!

We had an issue with our table, and the staff was extremely accommodating. I got the frittata with no meat, and it was very filling. We were also treated with some tiramisu on the house due to our seating confusion! Overall, Dante's is the perfect spot if you're looking for good service, good food, and an old school atmosphere!

Service - 5 stars. Ambience/interior/decor - 5 stars. The limoncello cocktail is excellent-- tastes just like lemonade. My friends' lemon martini was equally delicious. Bread and butter -- made by the gods, I swear. The side of mushrooms -- good, but not mind blowing. Still great, but wouldn't order again. The zucchini and fava bean risotto - yummy! Could use some salt, but good. Burger - her plate was clean, so I can only assume she loved it. Smoked trout salad - arugula, bibb lettuce, onion, smoked trout (duh), shallot vinaigrette (I think?), orange and blood orange. Maybe grapefruit. I love salads but typically opt for heartier meals at nice restaurants, but this did not disappoint!! So flavorful. Our server was exceedingly friendly. Very charismatic and attentive, but clearly took the job seriously. As for the restaurant itself, WOW. Stunning in every way. I may simply be a sucker for the color green, which was in abundance at Dante, but I've never been to a more beautiful restaurant. Worth every penny!

Dante WV quickly became one of our FAVORITE spots since first visiting last winter! Stephen behind the bar is a genius and when we came back for our 2nd visit we felt like we were visiting an old friend. The food, ambiance and drinks are amazing - but there's many places in NYC where you can get that. What makes Dante exceptional is the way the staff makes you feel and the exceptional service that keeps us coming back. We have become "regulars" and are raving fans of Dante West Village, frequently recommending it to everyone we know!

I've always loved Dante (particularly the West Village location), but after spending my birthday there last night, I truly can't recommend enough (for a special event, big group dinner, date night - anything). The vibes were amazing as always, but it was really the hospitality and service that pushed me over the edge. The entire staff made it a truly incredible night. I will be spending all birthdays at Dante WV from here on out. (PS - the food was amazing as usual. Don't miss the potatoes, burrata, steak, and chicken).

Maybe would have been a good brunch spot but alas we already ate breakfast at Waverly Diner so we just popped in for 2 drinks. Mezcalito & Negroni Cielo delicious.

We swung by this restaurant/bar whilst walking back to our hotel. The atmosphere was really cool and we enjoyed the martini hour. Expensive but classy.

Perfect cocktail bar. From the entrance to the bar it's a cute small restaurant/bar. Recommend to go on martini hour as their martinis are 10 dollars. Although I'm not a martini person, I still ordered one with a side of a cocktail. I wanted to give it a try and although it was very strong it's was very delicious! Service here was excellent. Very attentive as soon as you walked in. They help you putting on and off your coat. It felt rich lol. We sat at the bar and I highly recommend it. You get to see the bartender take detail in the cocktails and I always think that's a plus. I have to come back for food as that day it was only a stop for drinks. Also there's another Dante location but this one is in west village.

They have an eclectic cocktail list, an extensive wine list and plenty of beer options, both draft and bottled. So when my friend who lives on the UWS wanted to meet up for drinks late on oma Sunday afternoon, in that weird lull between brunch and dinner, this seemed like the perfect place to try. The vibe is warm and welcoming. We were able to walk right in at around 3pm and get seated. Now, if you're only drinking, the table time limit is supposed to be an hour. We were definitely there for over 3, though we did end up ordering some bread and butter to soak up the alcohol. After our first round of drinks, we noticed that it was "Martini Hour" ($10 martinis between 3 and 5pm). This is a phenomenal deal. We partook, and partook, and partook :) Luckily, neither of us has to work the next day. So, if you're looking for a spot for that's nice enough for a date, but low-key enough for a girls/guys/theys night out, plus a spot for an affordable afternoon pick me up, put Dante on your list.
