I went here with my sister and one of her friend's.
My sister and I are vegetarian. We had asked, the waitress to customize the paste since there were no vegetarian options. She said sure. The customer service was really expressive and the waitress was personable. We had ordered a Green Salad, Caprese salad, buffalo mozzarella, black tomatoes, and our customized paste. We got our food in a timely manner. The taste of the food was not that impressive but it was not bad either. The location was at the center of the business area next to corporations like PwC and Deloitte. The interior was classy and chic. Parking would be expensive here and hard to find. We had walked to the restaurant.Reasons for Rating:+0.5 Excellent location and parking+0.5 Food taste really good+1 Customer service+1 Interior/atmosphere+0.5 Would return/recommend others

Wanted Italian because I struggle with some of the Australian cuisine. The buratta and sourdough bread with olive oil was outstanding. Thought I would be safe with the broccolini, but it tasted off to me. The wine pairing was spot on and the service impeccable.
Be the first to ReplyGood ambience, excellent service and very nice food.
Went with a colleague from work and we started with the meatballs and mozzarella. Both were very good but the mozzarella was particularly fresh and tasty.I had the veal chop as a main. Very large chop, breaded and nicely seasoned. The sides were even better. I ordered the baked pumpkin with ricotta and while hard to describe (surprisingly not sweet), interesting and I would order it again. Even the greens were better than I expected.A very pleasant place to spend the evening.

The care and time they put into their food is unmatched. Starting off with their bread - the olive bread is phenomenal. Moist with fresh olive oil and the taste of rosemary and olives. Amazing and simple. My husband then ordered three items to share. The cauliflower, the gnocchi with lamb and mushrooms, and the lamb secondi as well. All were fabulous. The cauliflower had a thicker flavorful sauce - I think tahini? Very good. The gnocchi lamb was so tender and the sauce it went with was amazing with the mushrooms. The lamb entree was grilled to perfection and had the best seasoning. All phenomenal. They also had a sommelier help us choose a bottle of red. I will say the bottles were very expensive for what you get. Might just be because we are from Los Angeles and have access to lots of amazing CA wines but I think the blend we got cost us $75 and the cost for the bottle in the states is probably $15. The service was great. Our waitress was from Italy and she was knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions. Only issue here is truly the price for the size of food you get. But often times really good restaurants change a lot of not a ton of food so it's not out of the ordinary. What was even worst for us was the 15% fee because it was a holiday. Seems ridiculous to me but maybe just because we don't have things like that in the States. Also, I was told there is no tipping here but it asked for a tip on the bill so I left 10% instead of 20% like in the states. We had asked someone and they said tips here should be around 8% if you choose to leave one but don't have to. All and all, highly recommend this place but be prepared to pay a decent amount.

Be the first to ReplyOh my what a treat in the middle of the day.
Loved the tuna and baby squid starters. They were both divine and the spices and sauces brought back memories of fine meals in Italy. The veal was good but would have preferred it without the breading used in the Milano-style preparation. One of the more beautiful things about this restaurant it was quiet and we could actually talk without yelling over the table at each other. This was a gift since our week in Sydney was filled with wonderful meals, but all surrounded with noisy environments every night. You must finish your meal off with the Torta Verona. You will not be disappointed.

From start to finish this was a first class dining experience. We had an 8:15pm reservation and upon arriving 15 mins early were asked if we wanted to wait in the bar or terrace while the host checked on our table. We chose the terrace and it was quite quiet. It was pretty chilly out there - but there were gas heaters and after 5 minutes I was given a blanket. You can order food on their terrace. We each started with an aperitivi cocktail. Me: the Sgroppino and him: the Sea farers spritz. Both delicious. After 10 minutes we were shown to our table up on the mezzanine - much quieter than the downstairs main room. We started with two antipastis: the seafood and the calamari and zucchini fritti. The seafood (which was raw tuna and squid; and cooked scampi, crab, mussels) was just sublime. So fresh and tasty. It was the highlight of the night really. For mains we had the crab pasta and the duck alla cacciatore. The crab was spicy, but not overwhelming and the pasta was fresh. The duck was really lovely, tasty and crispy skin. I think it would be perfect with some olives on the plate. Dessert: we had gelato and a cannoli. Gelato is $8 and it's a very, very small serve. However it was delicious. I chose milk chocolate and it was like I was eating a piece of chocolate. The cannoli ($5) is the size of a packet of matches. Service was really good - attentive but not too full on. Everyone was really friendly.
