Stunning views from 18th floor
Located on the lifestyle hotel SO/ Vienna's 18th floor, this place is fantastic for panaromic views of the city. The restaurant needs reservation but the bar doesn't. I couldn't stop taking photos last. The atmosphere here was good too. If you want a relaxing drink or dinner with amazing 360' views of the city, then head down here. We only had drinks and bar snacks here. Although they were so full, the sevices was fast, friendly and efficent.

This place is simply amazing! The view is absolutely unique and the atmosphere is wonderful. Plus, it's affordable too, which is a bonus. I highly recommend checking it out, but be sure to make a reservation in advance to secure your spot.
Be the first to ReplyBait & Switch
reservation#JUKBL3EW, A “Bait & Switch” very unpleasant experience. Asked to speak to the Sommelier, & I was introduced to a lady that claimed to be the Sommelier?( in fact she turned out to be the assistant sommelier) sadly she had a junior level knowledge of wine. I ordered a bottle of wine based on her recommendations & she shows up to w/ a totally different wine $$$ When I asked to see the wine list again, Very quickly she back tracked & said oh my Boss recommends this wine. Confused I said your Boss? She then admitted she is the assistant Sommelier. We go back to square one & order the initial bottle of wine. She shows up pours the wine & later we notice she switched the year by 1 yr & turned out to be twice the $$$ price. On conclusion at the bill settlement we bought the poor service to the attention of our waiter. She took it upon herself to call the manager. The Manager offered us a drink or sweets. “For the Mistake” we kindly refused the gifts & paid the bill in full & left a generous tip to the young waiter who was totally innocent in this game of “Bait & Switch” sorry folks just the facts here. You decide is it worth the wait, plunk down your credit card for a reservation for food that was mid level range???? You Decide.

Rude staff and really expensive!! The only good thing was the view. They told us that the Bruch Costs 20 per person and in the end it was 100€/ person…
Be the first to Replyspendy, but oh, the views...
Not a cheap place by any means. But everything is of high quality, and the views, particularly at sunset, are incredible.
Be the first to ReplyFunky bar with amazing view
We came for couple of drinks to the bar. We were greeted by friendly staff at the wardrobe and took the elevator to the top floor. The art on the ceiling is amazing, the music played by the dj was cool and the drinks were top! Staff was very lovely and the view is absolutely amazing. It was a pleasurable evening.

Was thinking whether to give 3 or 4 rating. The food is average, the view is fabulous. We booked their degustation menu in order to be seated by the window. The food was good, nothing spectacular, our main waiter was friendly and attentive. The lady bringing the food gave the plates on the table and that was it, no presentation of the dish as you may be used to in fancy restaurants.
The restaurant is combined with the bar, thus you may expect a bit of the louder chill music. We tried the bar as well and if we could chose next time, we just go for their delicious cocktails.
A great meal, but read the last paragraph!
Super food, super wine and a super setting, commanding excellent views of the city.
My wife and I are both certified wine and food lovers and we were not disappointed.
After chatting with Sommelier,Tomas, we chose our food and left the wines to him, so that we could experience some lesser known Austrian producers. Some great choices of wine including ‘orange wine’ which really worked with the asian fusion pork belly and kumquat dish.
Service attentive and Thomas was happy to talk to us about the wines as much as we wanted to ask him about them.
However, a word of warning….We booked well advance asking for a table by the window. It got off to a dodgy start, when the Greeter took us to a table near the exit. When we asked to sit near the window we were advised that those were for reservations. We pointed out we had one, and we were then questioned as to how much we intended to spend. We were told we had to be spending at least €104 per head, the price for the tasting menu, to sit next to the window. It felt very much like we were judged - perhaps the restaurant has a problem with people ordering only a starter then spending all evening gazing at the view? Infact, it is a testament to just how good the food and drink was that this review still warrants 5/5
