I had a reservation for 5:30, I called to say I was coming but stuck in traffic and one person of the party arrived at 5:20 and advised them that 2 of us were stuck in traffic, they would not seat her, we arrived at 5:47 and they had given our table away. The hostess was extremely nasty, refused to even speak to me and just said, there's no way I can seat you tonight. We had traveled from out of state, my mother is handicapped, and we had the reservation for over a month!! Horrible customer service!!!
Service was great.
Bartender was very personable and fun. Steak is amazing. We ordered shrimp cocktail, also amazing. Ambiance is perfect. The decor is classy. Great place for a date.
I came for lunch and had an amazing time.
The food was delicious. I ordered the ribeye, creamed spinach, macaroni and cheese and the hazelnut martini. The service was also great as the server was very attentive. I definitely recommend.
Perfect place for a business lunch.
You must get the crab cake. It is all sweet crab. the deviled eggs were the classic deviled eggs but great as an appetizer. I normally get the ribeye steak so I thought I would try the short rib today. It was very tender but the olives threw off the dish as they were super salty. I will stick with the steak next time. I also tried the filet mignon burger which was amazing. Finished my meal with a refreshing berry sangria.

Awesome dinner with my family After having a wonderful week. In town to ring the Bell at the NYSE to usher in the 1st day of Black History Month .... We had to take a moment enjoy the sights, shopping, good vibes and great food. Our service was excellent and the Cider-Glazed Heritage Pork Chop and smoked Manhattan was out of this world. Juicy to the last bite.

Messed up a pick-up order when the restaurant was barely seated. Took 40 minutes total for what was supposed to be a 15-20 minute turnaround. No extra service or apology and I had to ask what happened.

It was my first time dining at Del Frisco's Grille and I received exceptional service and excellent food. I got the pork chop which was super delicious and had the wild mushroom flat bread as appetizer along with the horseradish butter mashed potatoes. Alicia, who served me was very friendly and attentive. She set a nice and welcoming tone to my dining experience. I also got to meet the General Manager Ada, which made my first experience even more memorable. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning soon again.

Stopped here for a quick dinner before seeing Mission Impossible at the Regal Cinemas right across the street in Battery Park with a few friends. Overall 4 stars, 5 stars for food, 4 stars for service. came here twice before, about 6 years ago and in 2019. It looks the same, nice decor great wine selection and the bar is the centerpiece of the restaurant. They have sidewalk seating not in the street like many other restaurants. Casual dress, attentive staff especially the hostess and manager. Very clean including the bathrooms, everyone was very courteous and said hello even if they were not serving you directly. In all fairness I did tell the waiter we had about 1 hour 20 limited ad I had to make the movie. The waiter was very nice although I found it odd to ask customers to pass over any glasses or plates that would not be used. All the dishes we had were great with awesome flavor! We shared the Ahi tuna tacos, and the cheesesteak egg rolls. I loved the chili sauce with the egg rolls. For mains we had the Bronzino, the wedge salad with salmon, Mac and cheese and loved the halibut with the House Spiced Rub, Forbidden Fried Rice, Mango Salsa. No time for desert, the staff was accommodating and not rushed. The hostess and manager came by a few times to make all was well and to refill our water glasses. I would recommend Del Friscos especially if you are shopping at the Oculus, the World Financial Center or walking around Battery Park.

I placed an order on Sunday afternoon (6/11) through GrubHub and my nephew picked it up. I ordered 4 cheeseburgers, 2 cheesesteak rolls and a caesar salad. I shared my burger with a family member. About 20 minutes after eating, I developed a severe stomach pain and had the urgency to go to the bathroom. I started to vomit and the pain got even worse. I got so scared that I thought I needed to go to the ER. I spent most of the night in the bathroom vomiting. The rest of my family members who ate the burgers, got sick as well. My 13 year old nephew was throwing up a lot and my brother-in - law was nauseous and had stomach cramps. The other two family members experienced similar symptoms. The five of us ate the burgers and got really sick! I called the restaurant the following day to tell them what had happened to us and to inquire if other patrons called to complain about getting sick. A man told me "No!" and then he stated that perhaps all of us ate something earlier and that was the reason why we got sick. I got very frustrated by what he said! First of all, we would had not ordered burgers if we had been sick. To make matters worse, he proceeded to tell me that if the situation were to escalate, he then was going to inform the chef. He also added that it wasn't food poisoning because we got sick right away. I explained to him that some of the other family members got sick later on. I know it wasn't food poisoning, but we got severely sick after eating their burgers. So why wait to speak with the chef if the situation were to escalate? It was obvious that we got really sick after eating the food from there! Has he ever heard of food contamination and people getting sick from it? I told him that I could hardly speak due to the fact that my throat was sore from throwing up. Yet, he was dismissive and kept telling me that he could hardly hear me. I live in the neighborhood and my family and I have eaten there many times. We have also ordered food from there on several occasions. This time though, we got so sick that we decided to never EVER eat and/or order food from there. I felt that my concerned was not taken with the importance that it required. I truly hope that none of the other patrons experienced what we went through. Just because it's not food poisoning, doesn't mean it's not painful and severely frustrating! Staff members should be retrained about food contamination and ways people get sick from it so this type of health issues can be avoided at all cost!

Del Frisco's Grille Downtown NYC has become a go to restaurant for me for a casual business dinner with work colleagues. Each and every time the seating process is easy and efficient with professional and friendly hosts. I request a certain server and table and I get both each time. And they are busy but they make it happen. Joe is our preferred server. Menu is very varied and friendly like the vibe of the restaurant.

I have made a few purchases here, however on Valentine’s Day, the reservation I purchased disappeared from my portfolio- inconvenient, yes, but mistakes happen. However, the support team has ignored my request for a refund/assistance for 19 days now. I can see they have read the messages. Can someone please assist? @ColorfulRod45 @FluffyStar64
