Delilah Miami Reviews from The Last Year
Terrible service, terrible food and the management is
Terrible service, terrible food and the management is totally out of touch with customer needs. The place just opened a few months ago and you would expect them to have their act together by now, but they are need of much better management.
Do not go to this place.
Service is horrible, especially the management, extremely rude. This place will be out of business by the end of the year.
I've been going to Delilah every weekend since it always
I've been going to Delilah every weekend since it always ends up being a great time. The location is a little hidden, but once you find it you're set! The staff is always kind from the hostesses at the front to the managers. Friday night they have a late night DJ and the bar is always packed, but a good time. I have only ever had the chicken tenders- but they are amazing! A Delilah signature. Only downside is photos are not permitted.
Had a wonderful evening.
Everything from the door to the dining room floor was perfect.
Delilah is so fun ! From the moment we walked into this new
Delilah is so fun ! From the moment we walked into this new spot, I knew it was going to be an elevated experience! The ambiance is so chic and unique. Every detail is beautifully designed. We really enjoyed the live entertainment, as well. It elevated our dinner experience, to the point where we would come back just to have a drink at the bar and enjoy the atmosphere. Now, for the food .. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much, assuming it was just another import from another city to Miami, but we were pleasantly surprised! The food menu is very unique, and everything was really , really good! We ordered quite a few different things to share. The tuna tartare, and the ceviche were very fresh & clean, but my favorite were the Cubano fritters! These were so flavorful and fun and something you can't get anywhere else! There were enough for the four of us to share but honestly we wanted another order, which will keep us coming back! I was looking for something healthy, so I ordered the salmon which was quite delicious with sunchokes, caper berries, and a dill sauce. It was the perfect portion, too. My husband ordered the lobster pasta and luckily he gave us all a taste, and it was hands-down, the best! Better than two very well-known and popular restaurants in Miami! We all agreed we'd come back for that! My friend got the burger and fries and it looked so good. We insisted on asking him to cut us off a bite. lol It was delicious. My other friend enjoyed the scallops. The quality of the food was fantastic. Kudos to the chef! I truly can't wait to go back again and definitely order the Cubano fritters, the lobster pasta, as well as try some new things! Oh wait I can't forget how we ended the night! The thing about this menu is so unique it has these wonderful dishes that you can enjoy but also the fun part of the menu is it has chicken tenders and desserts served with candy for those Late Night partiers! We had two desserts that I cannot remember the name, but one was orgasmic with strawberry ice cream, and I tasted a bit of peanut butter, etc. served on a platter filled with M&Ms, peanut M&Ms, sour patch candy, etc. So fun! I highly recommend Delilah in Miami! Our service could not have been better, and our entire experience was amazing.
Exclusive restaurant with a no picture policy as we know!
Exclusive restaurant with a no picture policy as we know! This is certainly a place for the experience. Like walking into a time machine back to the 1920s. It's fun to dress up for a date night for sure! The food was okay! Like I said more about the time together in a cool place. We enjoyed the live music!
This experience review is going to be based strictly on
This experience review is going to be based strictly on trust, as there are no pics allowed inside of Delilah. There are a lot of high profile and celebrity clientele who wish to simply enjoy their dining experience in peace. I respect it. For reference, my group was seated beside CeeLo Green. Walking into the establishment is welcoming as the hostesses are friendly and offer You to head to the bar or the lounge area to have a cocktail until your entire group arrives. We went from a group of 4 to 7 and were accommodated. I ordered the JoJo which was a delicious cocktail with an added splash of Prosecco while I waited and had a second later. For appetizers once seated we had the chicken tenders which are their specialty. Large crispy and juicy white meat tenders were delicious with two house made dipping sauces. We also had the pigs in blankets which are hotdogs made with wagyu beef, the crab cake which was actually pretty good (I'm from Maryland so IYKYK), as well as the Cuban fritters that the girls said were great, I am not a pork eater. For dinner I had the Lobster mafaldine which is a pasta with shrimp and large pieces of lobster in a creamy sauce. It was chefs kiss! And a great portion size. For sides we had the carrot souffle which I think was my favorite of the night. Surprisingly! Also the macaroni gratinee which was also delicious with a hint of truffle. All of this great food while we enjoyed a live show. The singer had a beautiful voice accompanied by a cello player and show dancers. I definitely have to return when the outside patio opens to enjoy the water view and all the accompaniments. It was a very good experience!
The concept here is fantastic.
I love deco, I love jazz, I love great food and vintage-inspired cocktails. But save a Delilah's experience for a trip to Vegas where they have the concept AND can execute it. The Miami location is like an art student copy of a Renoir--maybe all the elements are there, but the quality is amateur at best. What failed worst was the service. It had the pretentiousness and inattentiveness of the hottest Miami club on a Saturday night--except this was on a school night, so to speak, with maybe half the tables sitting empty. I've frankly had more skilled service at your average Chilis. Empty drinks routinely sat unattended to, dishes lingered long after they were finished, mixups were made at what seemed like every turn. Chock it up to growing pains? Yet, plan to get hit with a 20% service charge at the bar and 18% for dinner. It makes it easier but also seems to lower the incentive of the servers that served our table. The food is really hit or miss. To be candid, this was the only time I can think of where I looked over a menu and was uninspired. Nostalgic kid foods like burgers, pigs-in-a-blanket, and chicken tenders were all mid--fine, but again, probably better at a Chili's. The steaks, scallops, and salads were excellent. Cocktails on their menu were interesting, but ridiculously weak and overly sweet. Desserts, too, were overly sweet. The carrot soufflé was a hit, but more desert than side dish. Fries were fine but a small cup will run you $18 and still gave McDonalds vibes. The musicians were good, the singer was fine but not great, and the dancers had gorgeous deco-inspired sequin dresses that fit the aesthetic but as dancers were boring and amateurish. It was a vast departure from the entertainment experience in their Vegas location. Big pro: no photos allowed. It was a nice change of pace to have everyone at our table focused on the experience rather than glued to their phone. Would I go back? Not to the Miami location but yes to another location.
When you walk in to Delilah you know you are in a special
When you walk in to Delilah you know you are in a special place. Think Speakeasy meets elegant supper club. Upon the suggestion of our lovely waiter Alejandro we started with the chicken fingers. Hands down the best chicken fingers we all have had. We then had the pigs in the blanket...good not mind blowing. The stone crab salad was amazing. I truly could have ended the meal right then and there. I ordered the salmon and didn't like it at all. It's a different type of salmon than the dishes I usually order. It was soft not dense...think the consistency of white fish you put on a bagel. My husband liked his filet and our Maryland guest loved their crab cakes. We ended with the brownie sundae. Again good...not great. Next time key lime pie may be the way to go. The ambiance is enchanting. The music a lovely addition. It gets louder as the night goes on. This is a special occasion place for us probably not for others who dine like this on a regular basis.
Definitely the most beautiful atmosphere in Miami right now.
I love this place, perfect for girls night out. All of the staff is amazing, Beethoven is my favorite!
Ambiance and service is great, but food is average.
Would recommend going for drinks though and sitting at bar.
Amazing dinner and service.
The live music was fantastic. Definitely will be back. Our server Josh made our night. He really went above and beyond to take care of us and made sure our night was a memorable one. Food was great, scallops and the pork terrine are a must.
MIAMI NEEDED DELILAH!
Absolutely Loved it, great food was just the start - ultra high quality of everything (Staff, Furniture, Live Band, Wine Selection etc)
Considering that it was opening night makes it even more surprising - everything worked perfect!
