Gluten Free Heaven
Fantastic! We split the lamb belly, it comes with rice and lettuce wrap. The fried oysters are original and delectable. The pho is made up of rice noodles and is gluten free. My favorite cocktail was Arm Candy: frothy and citrus-y. Umami to the max

This is a very popular mid-range place on Greenpoint Avenue, Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The food is classic Vietnamese food. Menu items such as banh mi sandwiches and delicious varieties of spring rolls. You can eat in, get delivery, or takeaway. The food is more perfumed than spicy.

We reached here by ferry from South Street Seaport enjoying a splendid view of the city skyline en route, after a day of sightseeing in Manhattan. The restaurantโs a short walk from the pier. With reservation our party of six was seated right away. The restaurant has a deep, long interior with the kitchen and bar in the middle. Green plants and warm lights projected a cozy ambience. The wait staff was courteous and professional. Noise level a bit high. Of the three small & shared plates we sampled, the crispy pork/shrimp spring roll with basil/lettuce wrap (#5) was the standout. The thin Vietnamese clam rice paper pizza (#12) was also expertly done. The beautifully presented baby mustard green roll (#8) was less tasty than expected although the sesame coconut peanut sauce was yummy. Of the noodles, we loved the authentic taste of the pork belly hu tieu. The wok-seared shitake & oyster mushrooms gave the vegetarian pho Hanoi (#24) its great umami. The beef deluxe broth was also rich and flavorful. The slow-cooked bone Bo Bo chicken broth pho (#25), however, was a bit oily, under seasoned and quite ordinary. On the other hand, the Vietnamese skin-on Bo Bo Chicken with turmeric rice (#17) was very good.
Be the first to ReplyDi An Di merits its popularity; fun atmosphere; great Vietnamese Food
I'm from LA and pretty familiar with Vietnamese cuisine so I was anxious to try my nephew's favorite place in the trendy part of Brooklyn. The food was so very tasty with beautiful presentation. Wait staff was very helpful and friendly. It was very crowded with patrons as devoted as my family. It's become a home restaurant and I see why--very welcoming; family feeling but still hip. Strong recommend!
